Hunting at Meva

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting Meva for their Halloween Hunt, which just started and ends on Halloween itself, the 31st. We're seeking 6 happy pumpkins and 4 moody ones, and those display their moodiness by moving away the first few times you click them and being a bit sassy in local chat :) Don't worry, if you are patient and click them again a few times, you'll eventually receive their prizes as well. All 10 pumpkins are free with no group tag necessary, and I enjoyed another reason to explore their store. It's fairly large, so just take your time and remember that the pumpkins are decent sized and not hidden under or behind things. They did a hunt a few months ago for their anniversary too that had some really great prizes, so I knew I would enjoy this one as well :)

For my first look, I chose the flirty Meva BOM Catsuit Black 1 hunt prize. It contains a full layer as well as separate upper and lower layers, bringing us some versatility in how we could wear it. The leather and fishnet are a hot combination, yet all the essentials are covered.

For this look, I am wearing just the upper potion of the catsuit above with another prize, the Meva Debra Pants Orange. These are great for the season with their orange to green ombre, and I love the low rise jeans styling :) The prize includes sizes for Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies.

I'm not sure which is cuter here, the shades or the shirt, but they're both free hunt prizes! Our Meva Hallowina Sunglass Orange treat looks quite similar to the ones worn by the sweet ghost on our Meva Lilith Pullover Halloween prize, don't you think? The sweater comes in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies, with turtleneck and long sleeves. Its hem is a bit too snug fitting to wear with the jeans, in case you're wondering why I'm pulling a Donald Duck or Winnie the Pooh here ;) But I assure you, I'll be wearing a pair of leggings when out in public wearing this sweet treat.

Boo! Sorry if I startled you, lol, but these pumpkins are fun costumes that I simply had to share. The Meva Pumpkin Head Happy is the one on the left above, while Meva Pumpkin Head with Tongue can be seen to the right. These are the happy and moody pumpkins we are searching for, and probably the same size too. I removed my hair and added the enclosed alpha layer to wear each of these, and they both amuse me quite a bit :) I wonder how Xan would react if I'd left them on and logged in later with him this way? How to surprise your partner in an unexpected and weird way...I think he'd have enjoyed it, but I also know he'll see this post before we login so the surprise would have been spoiled anyway. 

My final look of the evening wound up being more racy than I expected, because once I saw the rear view I knew I just had to share, booty be damned! This is our Meva Devil Bodysuit Devil hunt prize, a fantastic carved leather that looks like horns in the front and wings on our back. It's all laced up both front and back, but loosely to show off the skin beneath, in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies. I am still gobsmacked by the intricate detailing, and hope you find this prize if you want to liven up your weekend ;) I don't recall for certain but would guess this came from a moody pumpkin.

It was a decent day, and I'm getting myself prepared for the farmers market tomorrow morning. That is still a challenging feeling, but I am doing my best to keep the momentum going :) It was so chilly out that I wore my jacket for the first time this season, LOL, so someone must have finally told Mother Nature that autumn is here. I've found out about even more events going on this month, so I will be one busy little magpie in SL over the weekend. Make Haste to Meva

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have a very limited time opportunity, so I'm inviting you to Meva for their 11th anniversary. The celebration includes a temporarily free group join period, and a free hunt for 11 gift bags that don't need the group tag to claim them. That is great news if you still want to visit but do not have any group slots left, as we know how easy they are to run out of ;) The group membership will allow you to claim some gifts and use their 5 lucky chairs, which are all in the same general area. The hunt will bring you to each department, and the bags are large so they are fairly easy to see. It is such an accomplishment to keep an SL brand going for eleven years, and I'm happy to celebrate with them. As for the hurrying part, well the celebration wraps up on the 3rd of July (just started a few days ago) so I shared as soon as I found out today. If you can stay in the group, they do mention having Advent gifts for their group members too, which of course will be in December. For now, let's enjoy a mix of hunt prizes, group gifts, and lucky chair goodies!

The Meva Sharon Dress Ebony is a terrific hunt prize, created with a single strappy sleeve and attached belt. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies included. I really like the leathery texture, and the zippers add a sassy feeling.

For this look I combined a group gift and a hunt prize, so I'll start from the top. That would be our Meva BOM Top Valentines Gift, which you can tell was a group goodie from February but is suitable for any time of year. We receive a red and a white version of this cutie, sheer but with heart shaped pasties built in to cover the essentials ;) The Meva Janine Capri Leggings Cream are another free hunt prize, shapely in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn. The neutral color lends itself to pairing with just about any hue you could wish, and the capri length means we can enjoy in all sorts of weather.

I was wearing the red version of the gift top in the previous picture, but I switched to the white one here which changes the color of the hearts but not trim or pasties :) Then I added the Meva High Skirt Pink hunt prize, and I must say the style really captivated me! That high peaked waist draws the eye upwards, while the front pocket zippers and all the great stitching makes me very happy. Find this bag and you'll receive sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies.

Next I changed into the stunning Meva BOM Catsuit Pink hunt prize :) While it goes from head to toe with long sleeves, much of the material is fishnet so it does provide essential coverage while showing off just enough. The BOM layer is so easy to wear, and can be layered over your favorite tattoo BOM layers without interfering.

For my final look of the evening, I am proud to say I got lucky and won the Meva Brielle Dress from one of their lucky chairs. It fits Legacy, Legacy Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, so I swapped back over to my Maitreya 5.3 from the Lara X I'd been wearing so far in all the other photos. The dress has a sexy chain harness and shoulder straps, all in rich gold links, with a beautiful ombre of brown to tan at the split hem. It is flattering and alluring! The lucky chairs change letters every 8 minutes or so, and I had a good time hanging out for a while with fellow group members waiting for my initial. 

I don't usually blog on Saturday nights, but I felt so badly about missing 3 days in a row that I decided to go ahead and blog. Then I found out about this brief event and felt like it was karma :) It's a warm weekend here but I am trying to enjoy it, and I hope you're all having a good day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Palomma Plaza Meva & Melody

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I wound up visiting Palomma Plaza and decided while I was there, I might as well select some of the many wonderful gifts to share in this post :) So I am featuring two brands here, Meva and Melody, whose displays are neighbors and my link should give you an arrow to the spot between the two. As always I still encourage you to look around the entire main floor for the incredible quantity and quality of gifts, all yours for free with the Doves Angel tag from their group. I get sentimental every time I visit, from the familiar build to the reminders of Palomma Casanova everywhere we look. 

For my first look this evening, I am enjoying our Meva Brooklyn Dress gift. It comes in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 17 colors for the dress, 17 for the border, 10 belt colors, 10 for the laces, 8 each for metal 1 and metal 2, and 17 for the tassels. That adds up to a considerable amount of possibilities, and I love that about HUDs. 

MELODY has an impressive 4 gifts waiting for us, like this MAYSSON DRESS FATPACK. Its dress and sleeves are both included in Classic, Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes. There are also two HUDs, solid and latex, which each let us choose from 20 colors apiece for the straps, dress, sleeves, and ruffles. The latex is on the left above, and the solids HUD used on the right shows a lacy ruffle on the sleeve instead of sheer and shiny. 

The Melody Kalila // FATPACK gift is a two piece outfit whose parts are labeled up and down, a cropped top with crossed straps and bikini bottoms with high waist but also high cut legs. They both fit Classic, Curvy, Erika, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, with a HUD that offers 20 solid colors and 20 patterns each for each piece. The pattern is a cute lion with hearts around it, with the background colors matched perfectly to the solid hues we can pick from. 

Next I changed into the MELODY Voodoo Girl FATPACK gift, but please don't try to stick any pins into me! ;) This playful dress has bare shoulders and ruffled sleeves, with a tight bodice that leads to a flared short skirt. The stitches and patches you see are the same in any of the 20 background colors for the top, sleeves, and skirt that you pick out from the enclosed HUD. Our dress itself is provided in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kalhene, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

My final look of the night is the daring MELODY SARAH DRESS FATPACK gift, which has an open weave to the fabric so it is a bit see-through. There are Kalhene, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes included, along with the HUD that has 20 color options for the dress. I'm amused that the color I chose on the left reminds me of a lipstick I wore in the 80s, and the one on the right is definitely giving highlighter vibes! Fashion is cyclical, and everything old becomes new again :)

More Uber Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more UBER Event gifts to share, and as I explained in my prior post they are all located at the designers' mainstores instead of at the event itself. This means we are visiting dozens of locations to find generous free treats, most of which do not require a specific group tag, and mostly found inside a tan Uber giftbox with yellow-gold ribbon and bow. Our first stop is the event to gather the landmarks from signs or giftboxes at their displays, then we head out to all the wonderful stores :)

My first look this evening starts with the Mimikri gift called Amalfi Cotton Batiste Dress cruise. This gift consists of the slightly sheer dress in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, with panties to fit both Legacy and Maitreya bodies. The pretty blue shade matches some of the beading of the Meva Allegra Set, their beautiful jewelry gift for us. The necklace has many strands of varied lengths for an impressive look, with a pendant that perfectly matches the included earrings. What will you pair them with?

Time for sex appeal! This top is the Lua / FATPACK gift from Bombshell, a daring bra in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 13 colors each for the gems and the metals, so can customize the look of your jeweled bra to suit your mood or favorites. Then I added the .Safira. Dolly Panties Blush, a gift we can find on the wall to the right from the main entrance. I mention that because it is one of the rare ones not in the Uber gift box, still entirely free :) These playful panties fit Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, in a lovely shade of pink with a big bow on the back. I know you can't see it in this photo, but please take a peek below...

The blush color of the panties gently brings out the floral pattern in our OSMIA - Tie Neck Crop Top gift. I am a huge fan of halter styles and crossed straps, and the cropped length is just right for late summer into fall. This gift is provided in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes. 

Fake Society has a provocative and generous gift for us, their Vanya Dress / Fatpack. There are 14 terrific colors (black, blue, cobalt, forest, grey, lime, nude, orange, pink, red, rose, rouge, white, yellow) each in Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn body sizing. I'm wearing the forest color on the left above, with rose on the right. This strappy style has plenty of peekaboo openings while covering the essentials. 

We wrap up the evening in shiny crimson, thanks to United Colors and their UC_Jenifer_outfit_red gift. The top and shorts each fit Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and there is a handy HUD for each piece offering 12 colors for the laces and 5 metals for the grommets and waistband snap. The two HUDs allows us to pick different choices for each as I did on the right. 

This is a week of flexibility for me, as I've had several plans changing and I wouldn't be surprised if there are more switches in the offing. For now I have a blood draw tomorrow but I do not need to fast for it, so it isn't really a big deal. The new month is almost here, so I will be researching and trying to see what to expect for September in SL :) Event rounds, hunts, sales...there is always something happening somewhere in the grid that will catch my attention, and I will gladly share what I find. Cosmpolitan 10th Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Cosmopolitan, who are celebrating an impressive 10 years of bringing us exclusive offers and the best in fashion and home decor. This first round of the month is open until the 14th, and I believe there will be different designers/gifts for the second round celebration so I will absolutely be checking back :) If you join their free group, you will find gifts at many of the displays in wooden crates, so just give each one of those a click and you will receive a wide variety of treats. I'm excited to share a sampling of those in this post, as I congratulate Cosmo for their longevity in the event world.

For my first look this evening, I slipped into the Meva Enola Dress & Lyla Boots which are both inside their gift box. The dress comes in Maitreya and Petite sizes, while the ankle boots did not quite fit my Maitreya feet at high or mid heights so I just alpha'ed them away ;) The neutral color palette is so charming, and I was also drawn to the empire waist and bell sleeves. 

#Apl.Blossom also has a terrific gift for us, their Barcelona No. 10 jumpsuit. This strapless formfitting suit has a built in belt, embroidered lace, and a single sheer bra cup on the right. I am hiding my visible nipple behind my hand, but you can tell that the fabric there is translucent :) The gift includes Freya, Isis, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, all in that great ombre of pink to purple to blue.

Next we see the flirty VARSITY / PAMELLA DRESS - FATPACK, a generous gift indeed. The crossed halter dress has a peekaboo midriff and short hemline, provided in eBody, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite body sizes. There is also a handy HUD with 10 colors, so our fatpack is easy on the inventory count and easy on the eyes.

Another fantastically flirty ensemble is our gift from Candy Kitten. Their *CK* Pure love set consists of two tops (heart and white) and two skirts (red and white) that we can mix and match. The tops include sizes for eBody, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, with a HUD in each to choose from 10 colors for the hearts on the front (nipple covers) and 5 metals for the buttons. As for the skirts, those have a HUD with 5 button colors and 3 choices for the panties (black, white, pink) as well as black or white for the lace trim and the option to hide the panties. Now as you can see on the right, the skirt is split in the back and the flaps are held open, so hiding those panties will turn out to be a very cheeky option. Yes, bad pun intended ;) The skirts will fit eBody, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies.

My final look of the evening is actually two gifts, a full outfit and a bonus bit of belly jewelry. The clothing is the Limited Addiction - LOTD 194 gift, which includes Legacy and Maitreya sizes each of the top, skirt, arm bands, and bracelets. The shirt says "dream" on it, which made me smile, and the low cut mini skirt has a flourish of plaid. I added the FashionNatic - Camila BellyRing - Gift since the plunging skirt waistband shows it off so well :) This rigged belly piercing comes in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a HUD that offers a whopping 50 colors for the stone and 8 metals. You can see it better in the inset above, a rounded orb of whichever gemstone you wish that is caged with swirls of metal. 

It was a busy day at home, and I have been keeping an eye on the local news this evening because of a bear roaming around a nearby neighborhood. It's not far from where my best friend lived when she first got married, although she is in the mountains now and sees bears quite regularly in an odd coincidence. This is a very developed suburban area with houses very close together and tiny lawns, so it is surprising. They are trying to lure it into a trap with baked goods, LOL, since tranquilizing it did not succeed. I'd crawl into a cage for free donuts, but jelly wouldn't be my first choice...yes, they actually specified that on the news. They plan on releasing it somewhere safer for both bear and humans, so it should be a positive ending. I hope you're all having a great day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

FaMESHed is Fantastic

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are heading back to the FaMESHed 9th anniversary round for a few more wonderful group gifts. The group is free to join, and most of the designers are offering a gift in pretty gift boxes at each display. There is a variety of offerings both for sale and among the gifts, so I hope you enjoy browsing and shopping as much as I did. 

First we have the [Aleutia] gift which is their Chiara Tank Top - FATPACK. It has double straps (for double the fun!) and comes in sizes for Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite bodies. There is also a HUD provided with 36 colors to choose from as well as on/off for glitter and several transparency levels. The glitter is subtle and difficult to capture in a still image but I strongly suggest turning it on just to see if you like it :)

Meva is also offering a gift for FaMESHed group members, their Sue Dress Fameshed Gift 21. It includes Maitreya and Maitreya petite versions, and says "That ain't cool" on the frond with a cap-wearing skull in red and blue. The back has been playfully shredded, with horizontal slits stretched across for peeks of skin. I must have old school wrestling on the brain because the back reminded me of Hulk Hogan's shirts, and the front made me think of Rowdy Roddy Piper's movie They Live with the sunglasses and skull. 

Next I changed into the M.NA Elena Birthday Dress which has neon colored bats and stars on a dramatic dark backdrop. The gift comes in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite sizing to fit popular mesh bodies. The vivid colors really caught my eye, while the bats make me think I will be wearing this again when Halloween season arrives.

Maybe you prefer something more sunny and cheerful, then how about this lovely gift from Seniha, called Maddy Dress // Yellow? There are two versions included (v2 is with polka dots as seen on the right above) and they are each provided for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. I think of the style as a sundress because of the ruffles and layers, which makes the sunshine shade of yellow even more appropriate. 

For my final look of the evening, I am wearing two of the three versions included in the Ghoul gift called Iroe Play Dress - First Love. The main color is a delicate pink which is the 'solid' of the 3 versions: dark (black), mix (both, right above) and solid. Each of these come in Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya sizes, which all have that sheer black fishnet panel on the rear. I like the way the mix version provides contrast, a bit of edgy flair with the softness of the pink shade, so for today's mood that would be my choice. 

It has been a long day, and fairly busy, but I am ready to relax in SL later so that is a positive thing :) I wasn't feeling well earlier (stomach) but that is calmer tonight, for which I am very grateful. The next several days will be quiet in some ways, but that will give me time to do a few things in SL that I really need to like sorting my inventory. I think my folders and categories are too general so the folders contain too much, and I'm sure there are ancient items that can be deleted as well as some duplicates. ACCESS These Terrific Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more treats to show you from the ACCESS event's 2nd anniversary, group gifts galore. Their group is free to join, and nearly every display has a teal gift box in front of it that will deliver a gift with a simple click. As you saw from yesterday's post, there is a wide range of fashion to be found among the gifts, and there are mens' clothing and accessory gifts too, along with home decor. There is a little something for everyone, and the event is naturally quite crowded so if you cannot get into the main sim, please try their cam shopping sim. You can use your camera controls to zoom over and shop, and claim gifts from a distance.

As you can see, I had a lot of fun compiling this look from various gifts :) The top is the gift from RUST REPUBLIC and simply named Anniversary Gift, a striking cropped top in pale pink with darker pink hearts and held in place with unique straps. The gift includes Legacy and Maitreya sizes. My glasses here are the MAJESTY-Icey Girl Shades in rosegold, whose lenses are studded with gemstones that you can change via HUD to your choice of 4 colors. I love cats eye shaped sunglasses, and these are pulled down the nose just a bit for a saucy style. Even my belly piercing is an ACCESS gift, the - Secrets - Martina Belly Piercing - Black. There are sizes rigged for Legacy and Maitreya bodies, with a HUD so you can choose from 15 colors each for the main diamond and the hearts dangling from chains beneath. So sexy! The jeans I am wearing are a marketplace gift that I wear quite often, a fatpack from Delizio with several colors in system/BOM layers along with appliers for Maitreya and Omega. 

The gift from [Glitzz] has so much potential to liven up your wardrobe! It is called Bella Top - Dark Plum, and the ruffled tube top has detached lacy sleeves so you can wear the top with or without them, all in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. I can think of several skirts and pairs of pants that this would look ideal with in my inventory already, but it also could be a good excuse to go shopping again ;)

[RED GIRL] has not just one but 6 gifts in one, 3 for the ladies and 3 for the gents. Their female tops are the Akari Sleeve Tee in Heavy Metal (left), Say Cheese (right), and a third one called Bitchin that has a design on a white background. Each is provided in Legacy and Maitreya sizes, a popular duo this evening, and has a fun slightly cropped style. 

If you are a fan of bold sunshine yellow, I hope you pick up this gift from Meva! It is their Antonella Dress which is rigged to fit the Maitreya mesh body, and has lots of visual appeal with cutouts and a fluttery skirt. The band across the chest holds things together, while the neckline has a petite collar that really catches the eye too. I like the combination of two complementary shades of the same color.

My final look of the evening is courtesy of SOCIALITE, their gift called SCLT - "Lolo" Full Set. The shirt and skirt each come in 8 colored patterns (black, blue, lime, LSD, LSD2, pink, purple, red) all in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. On the left above I am wearing the purple top and black skirt, while on the right you can see the lime top with LSD skirt. You can have fun mixing them up, or simply wear the same variety of top and skirt for a coordinated flirty look.

It was a quiet day here, and I am preparing for a rare outing tomorrow as I have a medical appointment that I am not looking forward to because of fear. I know they will be taking my temperature as soon as I arrive and making sure everything is well cleaned, it's just the anxiety-ridden part of my brain (I have had chronic anxiety and panic attacks for a few decades now) that is reacting poorly. I'm sure it will be fine, just being a worrywart ;) There are still more ACCESS group gifts I wish to show all of you, so I am looking forward to that, and I have all sorts of ideas for the next few posts after that. Happy Anniversary Cosmopolitan

Hiya everyone! Tonight we help Cosmopolitan celebrate their 7th anniversary, which is an exciting milestone for any event in SL to last so long and remain strongly popular. Almost all of their designers are offering group gifts for the occasion, just activate your group tag (free to join) and click the boxes at each display. There are exclusive selections for purchase as with each round, and this round is open until the 15th.

This strapless mini is our gift from -:zk:- called Nautica Dress, and it comes in a single Maitreya size that might fit other shapes/bodies as well. The stripes make me think of summer, and of course that nautical flavor that the name references.

-Sorumin- is offering this Top&Shorts set to all visitors with the group tag, which is a single piece with the look of two, and is fitted for the Maitreya body. The lace on the top is exquisite, and the denim shorts have great detail as well. The belt is attached and part of the outfit too, so this is very easy to wear. The hard part is choosing between sneakers and sandals to pair it with!

I paired a couple of gifts together here, starting with the gift from Meva which is our Cosmo Gift Tops. They come in black and white versions, both of which are designed for Maitreya (yes, this is a common experience and why I need a Maitreya body for blogging purposes) and are fun, revealing halter styles. The skirt is a flirty number from Loki called Heart Skirt - Pink&Red - Maitreya. I think you can guess what size it is ;) It is short and fluttery, and will look wonderful with whatever you wish to wear with it.

The gifts from the prior photo made a perfect base for adding the gift from *InsomniaStore* which is called iS Fringed Crop Jacket OCEAN. It comes in Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya sizes, and I was really drawn to the layers and layers of fringe all around. That deep greenish shade will look sharp with any top you layer beneath, and whatever pants or skirt you use to wrap up the outfit.

My final look this evening is the group gift from SAVIN called Betty, and what a charmer she is! The panties with chain and matching top with chain are each provided in a Maitreya size, and I am captivated by the hearts at the ends of each chain. Those long ends trailing down the back made me grateful to be wearing an updo hairstyle to show them off properly.

It was a bustling kind of day, with things that needed to be done to prepare for a busy weekend with a houseguest :) I am looking forward to it, although I have not yet determined for sure how it will affect my blog schedule. They do not arrive until late evening so I'll be blogging tomorrow for certain, but I feel like Saturday night will be a night off for me. I still log into SL to check notices/messages, but no time to gather items and take photos and notes.
