FaMESHed Part Two

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we've got more gifts from the FaMESHed event's 14th anniversary round to enjoy. They have a separate area for the gifts, so you will need to join the group by copy/pasting secondlife:///app/group/8ae32885-b174-3f8e-4a70-5df905f8f93a/about into your local chat and then you are able to teleport into the group area :) There is plenty of shopping to appreciate too of course, and I am always eager to see what's new. I've known many RL businesses that didn't last for 14 years, and time seems to work differently in SL so it's a huge accomplishment that I am pleased to help them honor by sharing this information.

We start with the playful GIZ SEORN "Miera" Set [Print 1] gift. Its strapless top and low slung pants are each provided in Lara X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh body sizes. There's also a HUD for the ornaments on the top (bow and fringe) that lets us choose from 12 different colors. Isn't that striped pattern a fun one? 

Our next outfit looks like lingerie, and you'll be surprised to hear that it's all one piece! The MIDNA - Coraline Outfit - LIGHT BLUE gift comes in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 14 choices each for the borders and hearts, plus the ability to hide or unhide the panties. The rainbow texture somewhere in the middle of the bar of color buttons is the one that caught my eye for the left above :) 

Our littlefox - Eliana dress / minty gift is ready to cling to every curve and show off our shape to perfection :) There are Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included, as well as a HUD for the built in panties with 40 colors and a show/hide option. The dress color is dreamy, and I love the cutouts that bare our shoulders above the extended long sleeves.

It was time for a frosty cold drink, so I added the WetCat :: Soda Cup for AO [Bento] treat to this outfit :) The cup is bright red with DeerCat on it in white, and has a menu on touch with a still pose hold, animation for drinking, or you can stop the animations entirely. 

My final look of the night is our [VARSITY] "Lia" bodysuit (Pack-04) group gift. The suit has a pretty collar and full sleeves, built in black belt, and classic cut leg openings that add up to an elegant and sexy look. We receive sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Nhumana, and Reborn mesh bodies, as well as an 8 color HUD whose palette reminds me of either blush, highlighter, or lipsticks. That does mean that the colors are flattering to a wide range of skin tones, and just generally quite pretty :) 

It was a really busy day yesterday, and I enjoyed the places I went even though the drive to each was stressful. They were close together, so it was convenient if not the easiest on the old anxiety ;) It rained off and on all day, and just started again now, so you'd think the temperature would start dropping but it was 78 in this room a little while ago. 73 now, whew!  Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the Halcyon region of SL21B Shop & Hop, one of 24 regions that are filled with offerings from top designers, 480 of those to be exact :) There are free gifts at every display, with exclusive offers and discounted items galore so get your favorite virtual walking shoes ready and your virtual wallet. I'm going to mention again the hard work of the FabFree team in keeping a spreadsheet with landmarks and photos for every single gift, sharing that link with a huge thank you to their team. I just finished visiting places this morning and I still have some organizing of gifts to do, but I do keep them sorted by region to help you track down the gifts I'm sharing a bit easier.

My first look is perfect for soon-to-be brides, or anyone who appreciates the fine craftsmanship that comes with a sheer lacy gown in snowy white. Whew, what a wild evening for hockey fans! It was game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, no not that trendy kind you drink out of (you have no idea how confusing it was for me to hear about influencers wanting a Stanley cup when I know it as a sports trophy!) but a prize my favorite team hasn't won since I was an itty bitty toddler. The Panthers won the first 3 games, the Oilers won the next 3 to tie things up, and that left one last game to win it all. The final score was 2-1 Panthers so obviously it was amazingly close, and I expect that there is much partying in Florida tonight. As for me, I have a blood draw tomorrow that I am terrified of simply because it means leaving the house and going further than my usual little outings, so I'm struggling to calm myself. I am taking tomorrow evening off from blogging as a mental health day, and I'll be starting to fast in a couple of hours so my day is not going to be a particularly fun one. I know I've done this dozens of times before and I can do it again, logic is just not taking a hold in my panicking brain. SL20B Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to head to the SL20B Shop & Hop, which is the shopping portion of Second Life's 20th birthday extravaganza. There are a whopping 24 regions filled with hundreds of designers' displays, 4 adult regions and 20 moderate. I'm sharing gifts found at Hollyhock this post, which is one of the moderate ones, randomly chosen as well I had to start somewhere ;) I keep the gifts organized by region so it makes it a little easier for you to locate, but there is also a listing on the SL blog of all the participants and direct landmarks. The theme is Our Fantastic Future, so the build has a new look and some of the offerings are themed but not all. I so look forward to these events, and am tickled pink to be a part of such a wonderful community as we have in Second Life. There is a little something for everyone, and this is a very impressive landmark that Linden Lab is proudly celebrating so come join in the fun!

KaiDesign has a generous set of 4 gifts at their display, so I am starting this evening with two of them here :) The *KD* Yaba top and *KD* Yaba skirt have the same dark denim fabric with delicate pattern, each with clever styles. The top is a cropped halter in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies, while the skirt is asymmetrical with daring side slit in Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn versions. We can wear them together or separately, just depending on our mood really. The other gifts are different pairs of lighter denim sandals, which you will have to claim to see ;)

I've been a fan of Sway's for a very long time, especially their annual Advent calendar/hunt, so it was no surprise to see two terrific gifts from them among their many summery offers. Their Swim Ring [Quack] rainbow includes wearable and rez versions, so yes this is the wearable ;) The holding pose is built in so my hands naturally rested on either side of the duck's head, and the rainbow gradient makes it so colorful and cheery. The other gift is a tent, so maybe you feel the urge to go camping in your back yard? I used to do that in RL, so it will be fun to do the same virtually.

Next I changed into the *CK* Deep night dress free gift from Candy Kitten. This beauty will fit eBody, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and is a flirty combo of deep plunging back and strapless top. The bra cups and hip slits are each trimmed in black lace which is a dramatic contrast to the pale blue fabric with lovely pink roses, and for some reason I am thinking this could double as lingerie with that sexy lace. 

All this walking around and exploring could make any avatar hungry, right? So be sure to stop at the MIDNA display to claim their free and adorable Cat Drink. This tasty dessert beverage has a built in holding pose, and looks like a rich berry milkshake topped with chocolate and a scoop of ice cream decorated like a cat head. This is not the only edible treat you'll see at SL20B, so your avi will be well nourished and treated to visual feasts at the same time.

For my final look of the evening, I had to slip into a marketplace freebie bikini to show off as much skin as possible since the skin is decorated with a terrific tattoo gift! The bikini is from LOVELACE, their Basic Bikini - BLACK (Classic Avatar), and comes in system/BOM layers. Back at SL20B we have the charming Juna. Uccy Tattoo which is also system/BOM layers so I hope you have a compatible mesh body by now :) There are ultra light, light, medium, and dark versions provided, so I am sharing the dark on the left above and the ultra light to the right. This way you get the general idea of its range from darkest to lightest, and can join me in admiring the beautiful floral branch that a sweet bird is perched on. The artwork is stunning, and the coloring of the bird made me think robin initially but the body (head, beak, tail) doesn't seem to match up. I'm also not certain what tree branch is being depicted, none of which detracts from how much I love this tattoo. 

It was a dull and rainy day, and I wound up not going to my parents' for dinner as I usually would on a Friday so that is a bit of a bummer. As long as my anxiety doesn't get the best of me, I will be going to the farmers market in the morning though :) Missing it last week was frustrating, so I am eager to visit again. Otherwise I am still exploring SL20B and picking up gifts from a few more Shop & hop regions this weekend, which may mean dealing with crowds and lag but I expect it to be well worth the effort as always. More Shop and Hop Treasures

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have several more Holiday Shop & Hop gifts to share, this time all found on the Chickory region. That is one of 16 regions packed with generous designers who are all offering discounted merchandise this round, as well as a gift for those of us who visit their displays. The regions are all decorated beautifully too, so wandering around during this last week of the event is a visual treat in addition to providing fantastic shopping and gift opportunities. 

My first look is the *CK* xmas set shop and hop from Candy Kitten, a versatile 3 piece outfit. The top, pants, and skirt are each included in eBody, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing. The sleeves are part of the top but have a detached appearance, and it says "For the LOVE of the Christmas" on the front with the O being replaced by a gnome. I really like the white front pockets on the pants, and the chain looped from the built in belt. The skirt has a belt built in too, and a panty layer for modesty since this skirt is short. Those cat head shaped buttons down its side are adorable too!

The big day of Christmas has passed, but the season doesn't have to end that exact moment of course. However I decided to show the Santa Gown from Salt & Pepper in a less traditional color scheme for said holiday, simply to prove that it doesn't have to be restricted to a single calendar date :) There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy sizes provided on the unpacker HUD (only open the one you need if you wish) and a color HUD with 8 dress hues and 5 for our fur trim. It was defaulted to a red dress with white fur, so definitely festive, but I went with a berry satin and black fur. 

TO.KISKI is offering their lovely Rihanna Mini Dress [Emerald] as a gift for all, and I am so grateful! The flirty halter dress has gold chains for part of the straps that meet up at the nape of the neck, and a terrific shade of green with sparkly texturing. The gift includes Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes. 

For a warm seasonal look, be sure to stop by the MIDNA display to claim their Cozy Dress - WHITE *GIFT* for your own. There are Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite sizes included, in a wintry white shade that really shows off the knit texture beautifully. Now I just need to find a pair of boots (surely there are dozens hiding in my inventory) and perhaps some sparkly earrings for a touch of glitz, and I'm ready to brave the SL elements :)

For my final look of the night, I changed into the [LA] XmasSpirit Dress gift from Limited Addiction. The scalloped edges are sharp enough to resemble holly leaves, both on the flared sleeves and the short skirt, and the color combo is most certainly festive :) This gift consists of sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I feel rather elflike in this, so perhaps I just need a Santa type hat and something with bells to feel extra jolly. 

It was a pretty good day here, warmer outside (but not what I'd call actually warm, just less frigid) and no traumatic dreams so I'm feeling positive :) The next couple of days should be calm, so I can catch up on rest and a few household things that I need to do. Belle of the Ball

Hiya everyone! Tonight I visited the Belle Event, where I joined their free group and was able to claim dozens of generous gifts to celebrate their first anniversary. The event is open until the 16th of March, so you have a couple of weeks to visit and do some shopping :) I saw lots of fashion, accessories, and home decor that looked very tempting, so I will be making a return visit as soon as I try on some demos. Meanwhile I am pleased to share some of the free gifts with you in this post. The group is free to join, so these looks will not cost you a thing.

My first look starts with the #AppleBlossom California No.5 dress, a beautiful mini dress decorated with lace and tiny pearls. It comes in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. I accessorized with the gift from Narcisse, their Delicado choker which is unrigged and includes a HUD with 9 metals to choose from. It is versatile enough to look striking with any outfit you pair it with.

It's about time for my arrival! This outfit's name earwormed me, as it is the X-Tina Dirrty v2 gift from [Pare]. It consists of the bra in onyx and white, and skirt in navy and red, all in sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. You can mix and match them however you please, and I won't tell anyone if you decide to dance to Dirrty in this outfit ;) 

I kept on the red skirt from the Pare gift, to wear with our gift from [JUSTICE] called Sandy Tank. This cropped top comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, plus a HUD with 6 subtly different metals for the hoops holding the bottom strip on. I love the embossed stars on the slighty shiny material.

Another very pretty dress can be found in the gift box at the Bombshell display, their Audrey / Flower 01. It comes in Freya, Isis, and Maitreya versions, with a dark blue background for the pale blue and white blossoms and their leaves. The neckline spoke to me as being ideal for a little jewelry, so I added the MIDNA - Rafka Necklace and its adorable winged piggy. The gift includes a HUD with 10 gem choices and 5 metals for the pig and the wings, so you can have a lot of fun customizing this cutie to suit your tastes or match an outfit.

There was so much terrific jewelry among the gifts that I chose to showcase two pairs of earrings for my final look of the evening. Together they make up the gift from KUNGLERS and are called Irina earrings, with a quartz pair (the pale pink on the left) and an obsidian pair. The chandelier style is both bold and elegant, and all the earrings have a resize script built in so you can decide if you want to go even bigger or a little smaller. I am a fan of statement earrings, perfect for a fun updo hairstyle and a pretty outfit. There are so many other pairs of earrings among our group gifts that if you love them too, you will not be disappointed.

How was your weekend? Mine was busy but I enjoyed it :) Yesterday I found plenty of treats at the farmers market as usual, and I always have great conversations with the vendors who are there sharing their hard work each week. Today was mostly focused on hockey and household chores, so you can guess which one was more exciting. Now I am just happy to be here and blogging, and looking into new rounds of events and hunts for the new month. More FaMESHed Anniversary Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have a sequel of last night's post, as there were more group gifts from FaMESHed and their 7th anniversary round for me to show you. I couldn't resist bringing us into the weekend with another handful of goodies :) The group is free to join, so just activate your tag and give each gift box a click.

First we have a pair of dresses which are our gift from Bombshell called Amber Navy. The short and long versions are each included in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes, with a HUD that offers 22 colors for the laces and the metal of the rivets holding them in place. I'm also wearing another great gift here, the pair of bracelets from KUNGLER called Nicky which are a FaMESHed exclusive. The left and right are both provided, so you can wear either or both, and you can see the intricate details in the inset.
