Swank Celebrations

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back to the SWANK event's Celebration of Colors round for June, which includes a Pride hunt to look for rainbow striped flames that look like wooden plaques, very pretty. This might be the easiest hunt you ever do, since most aren't really hidden and the ones that are might just be tucked behind a sign or along side a shelf but still visible. The bright colors do help them stand out :) Join the free VIP group and you'll be able to pick these all up for free, which is a perfect way to add some fresh color to your summer wardrobe while saving those lindens for some shopping at the event if you wish. There are plenty of terrific offers for sale here of course, and I usually pick out a couple each round to treat myself with. With this bevy of talented designers, how could I resist? :)

My first look of the evening is the playful Ahlure - Francy Outfit gift. Its dress (technically shorts romper), jacket, and boots are all included in Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. There's an outfit HUD with 9 colors each for jacket 01, jacket 02, dress upper, dress lower, and belt, plus 4 metals. There's a HUD for the boots as well, with matching 9 colors for upper and lower sections and 4 metals. Just use the tabs on the top of each HUD to change what area is being tinted. I purposely chose different colors for parts 1 and 2 of the dress and of the boots to distinguish, but it looks fantastic with everything all the same or even without the jacket for those hotter days.

Next I had some fun celebrating the season with our **SIMONE DREW PRIDE STYLE COMPLETE OUTFIT** gift from V8 Underground. The bright red tank top, rainbow striped leggings, and red sneakers will yellow trim each come in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. V8 Underground loves their accessories too, so we also receive the headband, necklace, and earrings with fun rainbow flags on each :) They are all adjustable so we can fit just about any size or shape body. 

I feel like sequins are essential for Pride month too, so I couldn't resist sharing the .:FlowerDreams:. Aisha gown - shiny gift! This full length dress has a crossed halter top and open midriff with wrapped skirt tied on the hip, showing off a lot of leg. There are 18 gorgeous textures on the enclosed HUD, and the gown is included in eBody, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. That's a nice range of older and newer brands and styles, since I know that some folks prefer to stick with the body they've been enjoying for several years and others crave the newest ones :) 

Our Ruxy-Aaminah Single Color lavander gift is absolutely ready to bring the flirt factor. Its top and bottom each fit Legacy, Perky, Perky Nerido, Maitreya, and Maitreya Domina mesh bodies. There's also a HUD included with 6 metals each for the beads (trimming the bra), leaf, and rose. I appreciate the ability to customize the decorations on this lovely outfit, and I must say that this color is dreamy too. I feel like every time I see its name in SL it's spelled differently, lol, like the region Lavendar that will probably be a part of SL23B in just over a week. Spellcheck here says lavender is correct for American English, but it's a stunning hue no matter how it's spelled.

My final look tonight is actually two of the 4 goodies I found from the same brand, as they (like many of these designers) have multiple booths at the event. The Swank & Co. Sassy Sailor Dress - Scuba is the beauty to the left above, with their Sassy Sailor Dress - Pin Up from behind on the right. Each of these include 5 fitmesh standard sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing. There are so many great details here worth mentioning, like the bow in the front/back and the double breasted style of buttons on the midriff. These dresses whisper summer, as they are classically retro and therefore too ladylike to scream in my headcanon ;) I associate dark blue and white with nautical designs, and the polka dots are such a cute touch on the Pin Up version.

It was a productive day yesterday, and I got some really tasty pizza while I was out. I got my new contact lenses yesterday, so I put them in today (after sleeping with no lenses at all to let my eyes breathe) and they are working out well so far. The left eye is only 0.50 stronger, and I totally derped by putting it inside out so I had some discomfort at first that freaked me out. You'd think after 40 years of wearing contacts, I'd know better? LOL! But the other eye is a -2.00 increase so you'd expect a drastic difference, however the cataract seems worse in that eye so very little improvement. Shrug, I'm guessing they will do the right eye first since it's worse. My gaming friend is still sick (bronchitis, ear infection, bad cough and hoarse voice) so we aren't doing our usual gaming night this week either, but with some luck the new meds will do their jobs and get her better soon. I'm still playing the usual games regularly, just having slightly less fun without random hilarious chats with her. Swank Winter Wonderland

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes to us from the Swank Winter Wonderland event round, where we get to claim tons of group gifts from prettily wrapped presents in boxes with big red bows on top. This is such a large event that whenever they offer gifts like this (see Halloween, their anniversary, etc.) I spend ages unpacking and ooh-ing and aah-ing :) There were a handful of treats for the guys, lots for women, and a mix of clothing, accessories, home decor, and much more. Some designers even offered multiple gifts for us to find, and I am grateful for the generosity of every single one of them as always.

My first look is a fun way to show off all 4 gifts from PurpleMoon. The top on the left is our ::pm:: Marina Top, a silvery gray corset top in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Then on the right I slipped into the ::pm:: Allegra Blouse, which is a flirty and flowy tank top that fits Gen X Classic, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. It also includes a HUD with 3 transparency settings each for the lower portion of the top and the ruffled trim. They both look so cute with their ::pm:: Phoebe Skirt gift, a wrap skirt with bold belt slung low around the hips. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD offering 6 metallic hues. I'm sure you noticed my new socks too, which are also a gift called ::pm:: Kitty Xmas Socks. These cozy above-the-knee socks have a sweet kitty face and ears on each band to go with the seasonal cat pattern of the socks themselves, in sizing for Gen X Classic, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn bodies.

V8 Underground has several full outfits as gifts for us, including one for the guys, so I randomly picked out the **CLAIRE PIERCE X CHRISTMAS STYLE COMPLETE OUTFIT** to show you here :) It's perfect for this time of year, and who could resist that sweet reindeer toy we get to hold? It even has the built in pose you see, so you will be holding it properly. Sometimes we need a great casual look for any time of year, like this Ahlure - Aurora Outfit. The shirt, pants, belly chain, and sneakers are all included, each in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. For my final look of the night, I am feeling seductive in our GGVG GROUP GIFT JIANNA DRESS 40 COLORS treat! Its dress and separate sleeves each come in Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. There is also a HUD as I'm sure you can tell, which lets us tint the dress and sleeves in 40 different colors apiece. Our fabric has a lovely animated golden glitter texture, slightly more noticeable on the dress than the sleeves, which matches the gold chains holding the front slits of the skirt loosely in place. I hid my hands and the nails to keep them from poking through (with my Lara X HUD) which tends to be necessary with gloves because of the fingers being a bit wiggly. 

It's been a frazzled kind of day, thanks to a mouse invasion in my living room. We live on the edge of some woods that means the mice get chilly or hungry and head for the nearest homes, like this one. Worse, we still have holes in the wall from a storm over the summer (huge tree branches broke through) that my housemate has really been dropping the ball on getting repaired. The insurance is in his name so there is nothing I can do, other than remind him frequently and less politely each time ;) So far we've caught and released 4, and I'm sure that number is just the tip of the iceberg. This makes me deeply regret being so allergic to cats, even more than I already did, since their presence might deter the mice from deciding we are their new winter hideout. Turns out I'm allergic to mice too, isn't that fun? Otherwise I'm keeping very busy in SL which is a nice distraction. Swank Pumpkin Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some treats to share from the SWANK Halloween event round, which is themed Goth Event and Pumpkin Hunt. The pumpkins have the Swank logo in gold on them, and are free for the members of their free group. I know it says hunt, but I promise they are not difficult to find :) Most of the displays have one, and a couple were smaller or tucked up in a corner for example, but the vast majority are easily spotted and clicked. There are over 200 displays here from a terrific assortment of designers, with treats for everyone to appreciate.

My first look of the evening is our Ahlure - Shelby Outfit, a gift that's sure to turn heads. The jacket, dress, and boots all come in Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu sizing, with a BOM pair of thigh-high stockings. There's also a HUD with several tabs, offering 12 textures for the jacket fur, 8 dress colors, 3 dress metals, 8 boots colors, 8 strings colors, and 3 boots metals. As you can see from the rear view, the dress is split on the side for a little bit of peek-a-booty ;) 

I found 3 prizes from V8 Underground (2 female, 1 male) and the one I'm sharing tonight is called **EMPUSA DEMON CONCEPT COSTUME COMPLETE OUTFIT**. Isn't she devilishly beautiful? There are Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu sizes each for the dress, sleeves, and boots, and we receive loads of accessories as well. The horns, collar, and earrings are all adjustable, and the staff has the built in holding pose you see here. As for the wings, they are bento animated with a HUD to turn that animation on and off, so if you need your wings to stay still for a bit (like taking a photo...) you can control that very easily. This brand is a go-to for costumes, so be sure to grab their landmark and see if your Halloween needs could be fulfilled here as well.

Next we're wrapped in gilded glam with the [GIULIADESIGN] - Colette-05 gift. Our dress and separate sleeves are designed for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Petite X mesh bodies. That shimmer is so alluring, and the style really shows off our shoulders and cleavage. I also really like the use of seams to add shape, details always catch my attention :)

No matter what the calendar says, we can always find places to make use of swimwear in SL like this sexy [ZENESSA] Vanilla Swimsuit gift. The one piece suit has a thong cut and lots of slender strings connecting the top and bottom, very flirtatious :) There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Also included is a HUD that offers 20 colors each for the main and the seams, along with a transparency button you can click to choose solid or 7 percentages to adjust the sheerness. I kept it solid on the left and just 5% sheer on the right, barely noticeable on the small bit of fabric shown.

My final look of the evening made "Go Go Power Rangers" zip through my head ;) It's our Fatal Fashion HALLOWEEN - Outfit H160 (Ranger Red) gift, and has a very classic design made more modern (sexy) as we do see so often in Halloween costumes. This gift consists of the dress, gloves, and boots to fit Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We even get a pair of silver earrings to jazz things up, large hoops that will go nicely with lots of other outfits as well. The boots surprised me by being suitable for the kitten heel height rather than completely flat feet as most boots are, fun because I have always liked that particular heel height in RL. 

It was an exciting day here since I got to do the online gaming with a friend, and chat with her and her husband on the phone about our weeks and such :) Of course my hockey team decided to lose their season opener to the reigning champs, so the evening did take an annoying downward turn that I am not genuinely upset about. I mean it's a bummer, sure, but it isn't enough to ruin my mood or anything. I'm looking forward to dinner at my parents' tomorrow, and then I have a full weekend of plans too. So we're in full swing of the busy season in SL, as this month seems to be a busy one each year, much like December. Happy Anniversary SWANK

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is loaded with group gifts from the SWANK Event and their 11th anniversary round. This is always a queen sized affair with over 200 displays on two floors of the building, and our gifts are claimed by clicking the glass globes with a golden Swank logo and number 11 at many of the displays. I'm just getting started in this post since with this many generous treats, we'll be seeing many more of this delightful event here :) Be sure to set aside some extra time to unpack all these gifts, because it truly is a flurry of free goodies, and there are some for the guys so please share that info with whomever may want to know.

My first look of the evening is our very versatile Ahlure - Laura Outfit gift. The top in two versions (sheer and solid), skirt, belt, boots, and add-on for the top (tie) are all provided in Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. We've got HUDs too of course, one for the outfit with 12 colors each for top 1, top 2, skirt, belt, boots, and add-on, plus 4 apiece metals for the string and belt. The boot HUD lets us choose from 12 colors each for boots, belt, and heel, with 4 metals for those chains draped over the heart-shaped openings in the back. So fun!

This sexy look is the **BELLA SWAW WHITE URBAN STYLE COMPLETE OUTFIT** gift which is one of several from V8 Underground. Its top, shorts, and sandals all fit Legacy, Bombshell, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. The top is basically a triangular wisp of fabric tied in place with lots of strings, which are a fun nod to the lacing up of the sandals :) The lips image says "I Love you" beneath the dripping lip gloss (yes, I realize in red it would be blood, lol) which solidified for me that the name is a typo of Bella Swan from Twilight. Literally every piece has it typed as I did above "swaw" so I am crediting it as is, and honestly the important thing is the hard work that went into creating the outfit and then the generosity of gifting it to us ♥.

:::WILD:::Fashion SWANK 11th Annivers Gift is actually one of 3 from this same store at various displays throughout the event, this one being a gorgeous mermaid style gown with slender straps that cross in the back. The cherry red color has me torn between singing Cherry Pie and Cherry Bomb, so either Winger or The Runaways :) There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies provided. The other gifts I mentioned are not shown here, but they are both accessories and you might enjoy wearing one or both with this dress.

Next I continued to turn up the heat with our [LABELITA] Swank Gift 2025 outfit. This is all one piece with the look of several, in a soft floral pattern with autumnal hues. I really appreciate the blend of romance and edginess! Our HUD offers the 40 colors mentioned in the name, one set for the dress and another for the gloves so we get to mix or match. I matched my teals on the right but went with different shades of purple on the left, love them both. The golden flecks you see on the texture are animated so they are dancing around, providing a celebratory feeling in my mind.

MLM Free Offers Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is filled with gifts for the MLM Free & Offers group, which has a very low $5L fee to join but is worth it for all the helpful info and of course these gifts :) The designers never fail to impress me, and the group notices are packed with news about sales, special events, and sometimes even limited time offers. I had a great time visiting the participants and finding their gifts for us :)

The Ahlure - Kristen group gift is definitely ready for summer! This sexy bodysuit and skirt pairing will fit Freya, Kupra, Bimbo, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Reborn mesh bodies. The skirt bottom is pretty handy, considering the rear view shows you that there are just two slender straps making up the bottom ;) There is a HUD included for each piece, with 8 colors and a tint wheel, but the bottom (skirt) HUD has a second tab with the same 8 hues in sheer versions like I did on the right above.

Next I shimmied into the Naya Set by BlackbirdLace GIFT. Our top and skirt are each provided in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The HUD lets us select from an impressive 30 colors apiece for the top, sleeves, and skirt, so we can mix and match to create the look that suits us.

Stopping by Brunsen Couture was a treat as usual, especially with their Tara Sexy Dress [2] gift waiting for us among many other generous groups' gifts. This vibrant red sequined strapless tube dress is perfect for standing out in a crowd, particularly when little black dresses are so common in SL. There are sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included. 

I also visited next door for the [Diesel Deluxe] Melani Outfit Top + Skirt 4 gift, one advantage to stores having good neighbors ;) This lovely set is actually linked to wear as one piece, in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. The camo print is certainly not going to make you blend in, LOL, and the white bows really pop against it. 

My final look of the evening is our .::PC::. "Yumiko" Dress - White GG gift from PiNK CHERRY. It's a real showstopper with those crossed straps in the front, bare back, and your choice of silver or gold studs all over. The different versions are labeled G and S (gold and silver's initials) and each come in Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. At this point I'd been wearing Lara 5.3 for the first four photos, but easily changed to Lara X to wear this beauty :) I've got an outfit saved with each body, so I remove one and its HUD from the outfit folder, then add those two items from the other folder. Easy and very handy to do, since I often find that some brands only support one or the other and I might have a mix of those to share on any given evening.

I find myself still pondering a totally bizarre dream I had, not in a bad way but just amused by the things my brain comes up with sometimes. It involved people I haven't seen in at least 35 years, so I have no idea why my brain decided to pull them out of the deepest recesses of my memory. It was a bit sad too, since we were looking at old pictures and reminiscing about a classmate who passed away several years ago. Otherwise my day was decent, and my outing got changed to a couple of local stops to pick up food and beverages. My next one will be Thursday, a further car trip to Whole Foods probably.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm diving back into the Swank Event gifts, as I have tons that I just can't wait to show all of you. The 10th anniversary round is open until the end of the month, and in that time they have established the Swank event as a reliable source of top designers offering new releases at great prices. They also do love a good celebration with group gifts for all :) These treats are found in gold and glass baubles/balls with a number 10 in the middle, so even their containers are beautiful. I also want to remind you that there are a few men's gifts among these treasures, so spread that news and bring a male avatared friend or two.

My first outfit of the evening is the [4U] ~ CASUAL Collection ~ 002 gift. This charming bare-shouldered top and ripped jeans are each provided in Freya, Isis, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, and since they are separates they can be worn together or individually with other favorites. The floral pattern on the blouse is mirrored in the blossoms on the right front pocket area of the jeans, a noteworthy detail just like the built in belt of our pertly cuffed jeans.

Next we see the AXE-DRESS GWEN / 06 which is one of the gifts from the AXE Store. This beauty includes the well-matched top and skirt in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. Then we can pair them with neutral black heels that fit Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Slink feet. They have gold at the ankle and draped down the heel, which matches the clasps on both the top and diagonal hemmed skirt. 

This sexy outfit is our *ASIA* FIONA pink gift, and it is sure to turn heads! The dress and panties are provided in Belleza Classic, Belleza Classic Dainty, Belleza Curvy, Belleza Curvy Dainty, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with towering heels that fit Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn feet. The fingerless gloves are a BOM layer and they are no-copy, which I mention since they will not unpack correctly unless you rez out the package and open it the traditional way. That should serve as your reminder that anything you add to unpack that is labeled "no copy" may not be delivering all of its contents, since we are technically copying those items into our inventory and you cannot copy an item while it's attached to you. I love unpacking HUDs, but I've learned over time to be careful and check those permissions :)

Another terrific gift I get to show off tonight is the LUXE Paris CONGO Dress. Its bare shoulders are great for these in-between weather days where it is still warm but occasionally breezy, and the bold stripes are interspersed with animal prints to great effect. This gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes.

My final look of the night is the Ahlure - Clara Outfit gift, just in time for autumn with those long sleeves and lush knit pattern :) The top and skirt each fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and we also receive a HUD with 12 colors each for the top, skirt up, and skirt low. The skirt up refers to the broad waistband, and the skirt low would be the remainder of this pretty pleated micro mini skirt. What type of color combo would make you happiest for this outfit? I like contrasting the waistband and skirt, but all tinted the same makes for a very sleek appearance that also looks wonderful.

It was a quiet day and an overly politics-filled evening, LOL, so I am very much looking forward to heading into SL later to unwind with Xan and prepare my next blog post. It's 77 degrees in my office right now, so I don't think Mother Nature is ready to let go of summer just yet...perhaps like me, she's having hot flashes :P  My feet are chilly though, oddly enough, so I think I'll be donning some slipper socks in a moment. SWANK Event Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're headed to the SWANK Event, where their current round is A Celebration of Colors. We've got plenty of rainbows and Pride themed merchandise, and if you join their free group you can claim dozens of gifts by clicking each rainbow-striped flame you see :) It is a large event with two floors, so pick any direction and walk in (we land in the center of an open square) and start exploring. The participating designers are always so generous with the event gifts here, and I'm sure to spend a few different days sharing examples of the many treats that can be yours for visiting.

My first look for the evening is our [C.YFashion]*PRIDE2024*Mini Dress gift, one of two I found there so there is one for the guys as well as this ladies look. The dress has the appearance of separate pieces but is worn as one, in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Bombshell, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There's also a HUD included, with 10 textures apiece for the top, skirt, and belt, along with 3 metals. I'd like to note that most of the sizes are no-copy and cannot therefore be unpacked (copied!) into your inventory while attached or held. So please rez out and unpack the traditional way, or you'll wind up with a folder that contains only one size like I did at first ;) It's a good reminder to always make sure your unpacker HUD isn't showing 'no copy' or you will probably wind up missing something. I really love the textures they chose to offer on the HUD so I had a great time experimenting with it.

Next I changed into the charming Cherry Up! Lyla Top & Skirt Gift. The single shoulder top and miniskirt with teeny back pockets are each packed separately. The top says "Love More, Worry Less" which is excellent advice :) It comes in eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. The skirt fits eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies so all the same except the perky breast mod size is not needed for a skirt. The store name is particularly appropriate since the colors remind me of cherry blossoms for the skirt and the actual fruit for the top. What does the combo of red and pink make you think of?

I couldn't resist sharing the Ahlure - Clara Outfit, a fun combo of cropped sweater and extra short pleated miniskirt. Each of those is provided in Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with a HUD that lets us select from 12 colors each for the top, skirt-upper and skirt-lower. I always enjoy a good knit texture, and the array of colors makes it even more special :) 

Hawkers House is offering their beautiful *HH* Brittaany Rusched Dress Pride as one of two (male and female) gifts. The gradient of colors really does cover much of the rainbow, and the style of the dress is a playful one, drawn on the left side of the skirt and tied with dangling bow. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Reborn bodies. My favorite detail is either the gathered skirt or the waist opening, hard to decide ;)

My final look of the evening is perfect for a summer vacation, or a dive into your favorite SL pool :) The [ZENESSA] ASHLEY BODYSUIT NEW! gift consists of Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Erika, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Bombshell, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. You guessed there's a HUD too, right? Well that has 20 colors each for the upper half, lower half, and sparkly gemstone in the middle, plus 5 metals for the hardware surrounding the gem. I accidentally made the combo of front and back views look patriotic with red white and blue, LOL, but I really just wanted you to see the way it looks like a two piece from behind :) 

Monday, Monday...I forget how that old song goes actually...I'm listening to American Pie by Don McLean at the moment. Did you ever read the explanation of those lyrics? So much meaning and back story, it is a fascinating one. It was a quiet day and I am a fan of those, LOL, and tomorrow's post will be filled with more Swanky treats for all of you to enjoy. Seasonal Swank

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we return to the holiday round of the Swank Event, where their free group tag lets us click tons of beautifully wrapped presents to receive generous gifts from talented designers. It makes me so happy to be able to share these with all of you, hopefully spreading a little of the cheer that envelops SL this time of year.

My first look of the evening is the charming :::WILD:::Fashion SWANK Christmas Gift dress. This tulip hemmed mini dress is a striking deep red that almost makes me think burgundy or maroon, ideal for this time of year or honestly any other :) There are sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies provided. 

As I unpacked the [AF] Alicia Tight Micro Dress OffSet gift from anny's Fashion, I realized that there were actually 3 dresses and 2 similarly built tops inside :) The yellow lace dress can be seen on the left above, and light green lace dress is on the right, with the others being a white lace dress, clear kiss top, and white top. Each is packaged with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing, and beautifully textured too I might add. The tops are shorter and stop just above the ruffle on the dresses, and will look great over your favorite pants or skirts.

My next lovely look is our [LABELITA] Christmas Gift Swank Event dress, in snowy white with golden snowflakes and baubles on the skirt. It fits Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and has a great halter neck with the back laced loosely from neck to waist. It looks terrific with heels, sandals, or boots, and the flowing skirt makes me think of ice skating somehow :)

Ahlure would like to tuck their XMas Group gift Miriam Outfit into your stocking if you've been nice this year...or maybe naughty too? ;) It consists of the top, skirt, and belt, each in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The long sleeved top is lifted on each side and tied to reveal considerable underboob, with a fun trio of snowpeople above that wishing us Merry Christmas. I really like the way the gold chain belt looks with the golden hue of the zippers barely holding our skirt in place :) 

One more goodie for this evening, it's the beautiful [ZEX] Vemika Sexy mini dress Rose. My first thought was how pretty the color is, and how the black mesh inset on the midriff really shows it off by contrasting so well :) Then I spotted the high leg slits and the bustline ruffle, you know I was sold by then! Well, my day off from blogging did not go anywhere near as planned...I had difficulty sleeping before the dental visit, then woke up an hour later with a fierce panic attack that brought its partner in crime, stomach troubles. Ugh. By the time the appointment was about 3 hours away and I hadn't slept yet, nor had additional meds made any dent in the distress I was in, there really was no option but to cancel. I'm embarrassed and ashamed that my agoraphobia won this round, but I managed to get to my parents' for dinner tonight (visited, didn't eat there) just to feel like I half succeeded at anything. If anyone in your life has ever flaked on plans because of anxiety or similar, please try to be understanding that no matter how disappointed you may have been, they were probably 100 times harder on themselves about it. My anxiety's other buddy is depression, and they are both tormenting me as we glide into the weekend. Speaking of which, the weekend that is, I am taking my usual Saturday evening off from blogging to prepare for my next therapy session which is Sunday early afternoon. The therapist's schedule is changing and that will be the new regular time eventually, which I'm fairly neutral about since I don't really have other plans. Ahlure and V-Twins

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I visited Ahlure and V-Twins, two sibling brands in the same building that offer biker wear and lingerie. I was immediately intrigued by the combination, and found a strong emphasis on powerful, sexy fashions that absolutely caught my eye. They do offer fashion for guys as well as ladies, however all of the gifts I found were for female avatars. Some were for the free Ahlure group, and others were for multi-designer groups like SLMB and MLM Frees & Offers. I mention those specifically since I'm sharing those treats too :)

First I slipped into the Ahlure - Karma Outfit gift which is just $1L. The halter top and mini skirt are each provided in Freya, Hourglass, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizing. There are also HUDs for each part, as the top, skirt, and collar & belt HUDs each offer some preset colors and an RGB tinting wheel to adjust those shades to suit your tastes even more. I couldn't resist sharing the peekaboo rear view, the way the hemline is lifted on the right side to give us a cheeky look.

Another playful pairing is the Ahlure - Puffy dollarbie gift, consisting of top and shorts to fit Legacy/Perky and Maitreya/Petite bodies along with another bounty of HUDs. The belt, bow, pants, and top HUDs each offer some preset colors and the same RGB tint wheel as the previous gift I shared, which makes these gifts SO versatile! The pale teal shorts on the left are a tinted version of the ivory shorts on the right, as hard as that may be to imagine :) 

Delving into the biker feeling these brands offer, I paired two dollarbie gifts for one smokin' hot look here. One of them refunded me the $1L I believe, but I assure you I was not concerned about it because these are clearly worth far more than that. The Ahlure - Victoria leather top fits Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD offering 12 colors for the top, 12 for the straps, and 2 metals. It goes really well with their Ahlure - Vanity Shorts, a gift that includes sizing for Freya, Isis, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. There is also a HUD of course, 8 choices each on the tabs for denim, leather, belt, and metal, plus another wonderful RGB tint wheel. I call them RGB because you can also click a button to input an RGB code like 0,0,0 for black or 255,255,255 for white as two examples. I used to use a free color picker tool for tinting mesh feet built into shoes before mesh bodies existed, LOL, so seeing those number sets does bring me back to that.

The Victoria top also worked out beautifully to wear with the Ahlure - Bellatrix Skirt which is their gift for the SLMB group (SL Mesh Bodies). This sassy miniskirt has a pert ruffle beneath the built in belt and double chain draped on the right hip. There are Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes included, and the HUD has 8 presets each for the skirt upper, skirt lower, belt, and metals.

For my final look of the evening, I'm enjoying the V-Twins Nikita Casual gift for the MLM Frees&Offers group. The gift is free but there is a small $5L fee to join, and I was already a longtime member so no need to pay again or anything :) This outfit made me start humming and mumble-singing Born To Be Wild without even realizing what I was doing, lol, so that should give you a strong sense of the style here. The top, skirt, leggings, arm cuffs, harness, and boots (yep all included) each fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, and we also receive HUDs for the top, skirt/belt, and leggings each with 8 presets and the RGB color wheel tinting. This means we can change things up on the fly, to satisfy any mood or color craving. The word "BABE" down the right side of the skirt in white looks terrific, doesn't it? I might just have an extra fondness for denim, as a product of my 80s upbringing.

My only note of the night is that Truth released a new VIP group gift called Bliss, and it's a fun casual ponytail of long loose waves with pretty bangs that we can change the look of slightly with the stylist tab of any color HUD.
