Brighter Days Ahead

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am back with more treats from The Wash Cart Sale, all of which are $50L or less with some exclusive offers available. This terrific event is open until the 25th of the month, so come visit and grab some demos and enjoy the variety. My title tonight might be wishful thinking, but I was partly inspired by the outfits being for holidays that are still in the future and give us something to look forward to :)

I am wearing their DD Santa Baby Royal on the left, DD Santa Baby Purple on the right, and they are each $50L with two other colors (red and green) available as well. As you could tell from my last post, I am a fan of SL tattoos, and so I am excited to show you one of the choices from the InnerJoy Love Tattoos cart at The Wash this round. This gorgeous body art is their Double Rose Tattoo Pac*IJL*. I was drawn to the contrast of shadowy roses with a few colored in with vibrant pops of red, and this tattoo is very easy to wear since it is provided in a system/BOM layer as well as appliers for Maitreya and Omega. This particular offer is $25L, with others either at that price or $50L like their exclusive full body tattoo that you really ought to have a peek at. Their mainstore is right here on The Wash sim and very close to their cart, while the link in the ending credits will have you standing right in front of said cart :) As for my bikini, I am wearing the same flirty number as in my last post, a marketplace gift from LOVELACE that comes in system/BOM layers only and is quite possibly an older offering but works perfectly with my updated Maitreya body. 

Let's head over to the hunt path, where I visited MELANGE!NC. to find their bright orange feather. It contains this versatile =Let It Be= OMEGA/CLASSIC Ensemble, with several components to mix and match. The jumper and bra are provided in system/BOM layers and Omega appliers, with 8 colors for the bra like the blue on the left above and the red barely peeking through on the right ;) The cropped hoodie on the right comes in standard fitmesh sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and as you can see it complements the outfit very well but you can wear either individually if you prefer. There are even shoes included with this look, the wedge heels I'm wearing in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet. It is hard to imagine that all this is only $1L, but I assure you it is if you find that feather :)

I kept the pants layer from the Melange prize on here, but changed into a totally different prize for the top. This is the .{SA}. Jess Cropped T-Shirt Gobble Wobble from Starlight Apparel, a fun Thanksgiving themed shirt that says "Gobble Gobble Til You Wobble" around a turkey in a pilgrim hat. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, and will look great with your favorite pants or skirts. 

My final look of the evening is one of two prizes inside the feather at Ink Blots, since they have created a male and a female prize for us. Their TJTH10 Gift Female starts with the cowl neck sweater dress in fitmesh standard sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. This is a wonderful choice for cool weather, and I love the way the short hemline is offset by the height of the boots so there is really only a sliver of skin showing of each thigh. 

Yesterday and today were both fairly busy days for me, and I am glad to have them behind me so I can look ahead to more enjoyable plans. Tomorrow I am mostly going to rest though :) My dental appointment went well, and it shows how long I have been going to that office when the hygienist is about to have her third child next month when I knew her before she was even planning her first. Everyone in that office is extremely friendly and pleasant, which puts us more fearful patients at ease. Today was a podiatrist visit, so now my toenails are healthy and not growing into where they shouldn't, a little sore as a result but better than the ingrown ones were feeling. It's like routine maintenance I suppose. I found it interesting that people both places asked how I was doing, then repeated the question like no really, how are you holding up? It is reassuring to know that people are looking out for others and truly care, and I have been lucky so far with my immediate family and small circle of friends staying healthy. That is my deepest wish for all of you too, as winter is approaching and lots of countries are seeing spikes again already. Still Crisp and Cool

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are continuing our exploration of the Wash Cart Sale and its Crisp N Clean round, which is open until November 22nd. There are dozens of carts with offers for $10L - $25L, with an optional special selection for $50L which I have noticed is often a fatpack. Some kind designers are even offering a free or $1L gift for all visitors :) I also have a few more treats from Hocus Pocus to share, and will refer you to their website for a full list of prizes and LMs. Basically you visit the store, find a ghost, say "hocus pocus" in general chat, and see if he is in the mood to share his prize. If not, try again every 24 hours until the event ends on the 9th, or you can choose to buy the prize for $50L. 

Our first stop is the Artic Storm cart at The Wash, conveniently located near their mainstore. On the left I am enjoying their *AS* Clara Set Deconstruct Teal, one of a few versions you will find for $25L each. The top, pants, and belt are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. On the right is their *AS* Marnie Top and Jeans in Pretty in Pink. Next we visit the Vicarious Youth cart, where you can find clothing for kids and teens in addition to adults. I am enjoying their {-V-} Sophia - Teal/Black Velvet above, a beautifully textured sweater and skirt set with just a hint of sparkle in the top. For just $25L at the cart sale, you can pick this up in fitmesh standard sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. The kids' outfits available coordinate very nicely with this, particularly the color scheme. Are you ready to try your luck at Hocus Pocus? This sexy gift should convince you if you haven't started already :) It is from M.NA and called Dana, a sleeveless mini that is far from a basic black dress. It comes in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, and Legacy sizes, all of which are quite popular among mesh body fans.

Faida has a fun dress for us to try to talk the ghost into giving us, their Boo strapless mini with frilled hem. It has a pretty satin texture and a ghost with kitty ears saying "You're My Boo" on the front, which made me giggle. It comes in Maitreya and Legacy sizing, but it is possible that one of these might fit other bodies depending on your shape. For free, I would certainly give it a try, and if something isn't free I would try a demo first.

My final look of the evening is the Hocus Pocus gift from Hello Dave, their nail appliers called Hocus Pocus Pentacles. The applier HUD is compatible with Slink, Omega, and Maitreya (the image of bottles on the right of the HUD applies to Maitreya) and has all 5 designs shown above. The black and vivid green are fantastic contrasts for each other, and just because Halloween has passed does not mean that all of the spooky things in our wardrobes need to be packed away.

All I can really say about my day is that I could sure use a neck massage. Wash and Kiyomizu Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight we take another trip to The Wash Cart Sale, where you can find selections marked down to $10L, $25L, or $50L each. There are lots of talented designers participating in the Spring has Sprung round (until April 10th) with offers that will help you get ready for a new season, both wardrobe and home decor. I also have some hunt prizes to share, from the Kiyomizu Spring 2019 Hunt. It starts at the Kiyomizu Mall, where my suggestion is to explore the stores there to find all the ninja cats you can, then click a floating ghost outside above the sidewalks. They will send you to a website that has all the locations and which you found/which you still need to locate. Some stores have them in their mainstores away from the mall, and I find it easiest to use the ghosts for personalized results.

Our first stop tonight is the Dream Factory cart, where you can find several $10L selections like the ~DF~Gown Katia red I am wearing on the left. Here I am wearing their Worthy Life tattoo which is just $25L and includes a system layer plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega. The design starts with a tree whose roots have a heart shape inside, and birds flying above. The back has more of those silhouettes of a flock in flight, with "Live A Life Worth Living" in script down the spine. It is excellent advice and really attractive body art. It was a decent day, until I went into the kitchen and a big mouse ran from the fridge towards me as soon as I turned on the light, then hid between two boxes before darting into the next room. I admit, I screamed like I was in a horror movie, LOL! It was probably because this was much bigger than the others I've seen in here, and headed towards me rather than away. The joys of living near woods...I enjoy it most of the time though. I'm headed to the dentist in the morning to get this filling adjusted so I can chew and bite normally again, shouldn't take long or be a big deal. Wash Cart Sale and Twisted Fairytales

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delighted to show you a few more selections from The Wash Cart Sale, where everything is just $10L and there is a terrific variety of budget friendly clothing, accessories, home decor and more. I also finally got to visit a small hunt, not a gridwide but a single location, the Fall of Man Twisted Fairytales Hunt. The hunt ends on the 30th and yes I realize that means you have just one day and a few hours remaining, but it was fairly quick and I felt it was worthwhile to share :) Follow the link, explore ths shopping offers which are in the streets of the shopping area and are open books that are much larger versions of the hunt prize. When you're done shopping, head north until you see huge signs that say HUNT, then teleport by right clicking the trapdoor (what usually says sit here will say teleport) to reach the twisted fairytale hunting area. It is very cleverly, darkly decorated, a bit of gore so not for more sensitive visitors. You will be looking for open books like the shopping displays from above, set for sale for $0L, I believe I found about a dozen of them. I am showing you just a small sample of what you will find inside.

Our first stop at the Wash is the Marquesse cart, which has these wonderful tops and shirts for $10L each, in 5 different colors each, so you can scoop up as many as you like and mix/match them to your heart's content. On the left I'm wearing the Hot Summer Top Purple and the Hot Summer Pants Purple, while on the right are the Green versions of each. The top and shorts each include 5 standard fitmesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, eBody, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and the top has an Ocacin size as well. I love pairing a fun print with a solid in a matching color, it always makes me feel pulled together and coordinated. More fun finds from the Wash, my bathing suit here is from the Olliepop's Kids cart which actually has selections for the whole family: adult male and female avatars, TD, and a few other child's sizes. This is their Shelley Fit Bods Rainbow Dots, and for just $10L this pack includes 5 fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions, and there is a separate pack that has just the 5 standard classic mesh sizes if that suits your needs better. You probably noticed my gorgeous tattoo, the good news is that you can find this and several other tattoos on the InnerJoy Love Designs cart for only $10L each. Here is one of the prizes you can find in the FoM Twisted Fairytales hunt, this stunning gown is from Syren's Song called Pandora Purple. The luxurious fabric is very detailed, and the lacing in the front and back is quite a lovely touch. This prize includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. Just find their hidden storybook and it can be yours for free.

Elgund&Nilsson have two hidden prizes for us, I believe they are two different designers collaborating on the store. On the left is NIL- Kristina Teal, which comes in standard mesh sizes, and on the right you can see the PE - Evie 5 swimsuit which includes XS-M, M-XL, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique sizes. They are both such pretty prizes, and I think of them as one for daytime and the other for a night out.

Our final look of the evening is a better view of my nails from tonight, which you can pick up at the Lost & Found event. They are the LIVIA::Summer Glitz Nails, just $99L and the HUD offers 8 designs for Slink, Omega, Maitreya, Vista, and Tuty. There are even 2 different Maitreya mani mixes on their tab of the HUD, which is a useful bonus. The Lost & Found event lasts until the 17th of July. Busy day ahead, my grandmother is being transfered to another facility for further rehab from her stroke, fortunately it is nearby and has a good reputation. I will go visit her there after my acupuncture visit, which gives her time to get settled in.
