Poppy Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the Poppy region of the Valentine Shop & Hop event, where you'll find 20 stores with discounted offers and gifts for all. I'm sharing a sampling of those gifts, since we all deserve something new and special :) We have until the 16th to visit and enjoy the shopping at all 14 regions, and I strongly suggest the FabFree spreadsheet to help you find specific gift types if you wish.

We start the evening with the Carol's - Valentines Gift 2026 top, which naturally has tiny hearts decorating the creamy white fabric. It is gathered with an opening in the front for a glimpse of cleavage, and the bow on top lets its tails dangle through there :) We receive sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Momma, Nhuma, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I paired it with the blue pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace gift that makes appearances here on my blog quite often, but I can also imagine it with skirts, leggings, shorts, or your favorite pants.

I'm a big fan of Petrichor, so it is a real treat to share their :[P]: - Yanni Valentine Gift. Would you believe that's all one piece? So easy to wear, in sizing for Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, Mounds, and Waifu mesh bodies. The gift also includes a HUD with 6 main texture choices (click the button you want, then the "all" button below), plus a secondary HUD that offers 50 pearls colors, 10 metals, 40 colors for the straps, options to hide the arm bands, panty pearls, panty all, corset pearls, corset straps, or skirt pearls. Between these HUDs you can really customize this look to suit your mood or personal taste, and I deeply appreciate that versatility.

Next I got to feel pretty in pink, thanks to the Just Ordinary - Tasha Dress Hearts gift. It's a terrific halter style dress with a cinched skirt on the left side, tied to show off a little extra thigh. The bright pink shows off the lighter pink hearts so nicely! There are Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes provided to fit lots of popular brands and shapes. Now I'm wondering where Xan should take me this weekend if I wear this ;)

For a more formal date, I'm happy to suggest the ::: pm ::: Tessa Gown v2 -Valentines Edition Cherry- gift from purplemoon. This is one of those brands that I remember from my earliest days here in SL, so it gives me nostalgic flutters to enjoy their creations still :) Our lovely gown comes in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, awash with tiny hearts and mixing elegance with flirtatiousness thanks to those side cutouts. I had to raise my hover height a bit to make sure that skirt train was fully visible, noteworthy because it just makes it look so amazing :)

If you noticed my spicy lil talons in the previous photos, you'll be glad to see a closer look of the shebzZzaar - GIFT - VALENTINE SHOP & HOP mesh nails. They will fit eBody, Inithium, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh hands; all you need to do is hide the default nails with your body's HUD and add the correct size mesh beauties. Then you get to play with the HUD, which offers 6 textures for each individual nail as well as the ability to adjust shine, opacity, and glow. I was very briefly into the scrapbooking craze of the 90s, so these are reminding me of the fancy scissors and hole punches that I bought at the time :) I would absolutely still use those to create guides to paint my RL nails too, although they are not nearly this long. 

Whew, it was nice to have a day off from blogging but also great to be back :) The outing went well, nothing really noteworthy, and we were above freezing today so that helps get rid of a little of the snow and ice out there. Tonight I got to chat with a friend while we played games, and it was so fun hearing about her experiences seeing the monks who were walking for peace. That was a rare opportunity that I appreciated hearing about :) Tomorrow is dinner with the parents, and I'm 90% sure I know what I'll be blogging but I do have to allow for those last minute "hey this event is happening and ends in 2 days" things that seem to sneak up on me sometimes. Sewer Scores Part Two

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back in the sewer maze to find more Scoop N Score prizes. These free goodies come from exploring the SL Syndicate sewers and finding poops, and you can even get your celebratory gold poop scoopers for free by clicking the 6th anniversary signs at the landing area :) The website is very helpful by letting us know how many prizes each store has hidden, so we can keep track of all 140+ droppings. I have this urge to use as many different terms for poop as I can possibly think of, LOL, but I will spare you and just get on with sharing the impressive contents ;) Some of the names are hilarious, like these designers have entirely too much fun coming up with puns to name their hunt objects and I am here for it!

For my first look I'm wearing two of the prizes from +CHANDRA+ which obviously work wonderfully together. Their ALABASANDRIA TOP BROWN is provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, and Reborn sizes, and did you notice the fingers wrapped around my throat? That's right, the halter neckline is a subtle hand shape with four fingers towards the right and the thumb on the left so it's someone's left hand. I am a southpaw but I didn't do it ;) The +CHANDRA+ WILLOW PANTS BROWN has a sheen from advanced lighting (materials enabled) that gives the fabric a purple and blue shimmer that will depend on your ambient lighting to really see at its best. That means the lamps in your home, any body lights you wear, and the lighting in any store or club will show off a little extra color. These pants fit Legacy and Reborn mesh bodies.

I scooped up another of their prizes, lol, the sexy +CHANDRA+ RADNA BODYSUIT BROWN seen here. The low cut neckline is matched by the plunging back, all the way down to booty cleavage so it's a fine choice to show off back tattoos. There are Kupra, Legacy, Reborn, and Juicy mesh body sizes provided for this beauty. The seams and the ruching really add a lot of visual interest here too, that is if anyone can look away from your cleavage for a split second.

Petrichor has provided 4 poops for this hunt, one of which contains the beautiful :[P]:- Summer Krusade Jewelry I am wearing here. The long earrings are adjustable, and the trio of necklaces (short, medium, and long) are rigged to fit the Legacy body's neckline perfectly. All have swords in gold and teal, a striking color combo that will go nicely with all sorts of clothing. I also like the fact that the three necklaces are separate pieces, so you can pick the length that suits your outfit or combine them however you personally prefer. 

My final look this evening features all 4 hunt prizes from Normandy, since their styling and colors work together delightfully. The Ageko.Dress SNS could be considered our centerpiece, a strapless mini cut high enough on both sides to create a front and back panel. The seaming is remarkable, isn't it? The dress fits Legacy, Perky, Reborn, Juicy Boobs, Rolls, Teacups, and Waifu bodies and mods. Then I added our Normandy-DemonsBane.Gloves SNS, shiny black gloves with studs on the upper arm and open fingertips to allow our nails to show through. These come in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. The Normandy-Gremar.Boots SNS combine the black latex of the gloves with green tops that match the dress, and come up so high they actually touch the hem! There are Legacy and Reborn versions of these badass boots. Did you notice the green soles and the touch of red underneath, like a famous high-end RL shoe brand? If you'd like a little something encircling your neck, I'm a fan of the Normandy-HeavyHearts.Collar-SNS to really complete this look :) There is a simple version I'm wearing as well as OC (Open Collar?) and Whim scripted ones included, and you can see a closer view in the inset of the broken heart at the clasp and a couple of the metallic studs that go all the way around. All four pieces are wonderfully detailed and ready to bring the sass to your wardrobe.

It was a fairly unremarkable day, which was appreciated after the chaos of Sunday. The weather is still warming up, and I see lots of showers and rain in the forecast for the week ahead. Green Freaks Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we've got a brief but wonderful hunt to explore, the SLS Green Freaks Hunt by SL Syndicate. There are free prizes hiding inside gold coins with a 4-leaf clover on it, so the theme is specifically green with a hint of St. Patrick's Day mixed in. I've always appreciated the SLS community as having an alternative kind of feeling, like if you lean towards the darker side of fashion it will suit you quite well :) Having said that, I still like to point out the variety among these designers and would not peg the entire hunt as any one genre. I did mention brief, well that's because the hunt opened a few days ago and wraps up on the 24th (total of two weeks) and includes a sale on green items at many stores of 25% off or more. The website lists each store with how many coins they have hidden, and if they are taking part in the sale, hunt, or both. There are no hints, so be prepared to cam around high and low to find these generous treats. 

My first look of the evening comes from Web Dew, and is in one of their 3 hidden coins. Their ::WD:: Youth - Emerald Lime outfit consists of the top, skirt, petals, panties, and shoes that all fit Legacy/Perky, Maitreya/Petite, Reborn and Waifu mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD to adjust the glow intensity and color in 8 choices, and color the lights of the skirt's decorations in your choice of 8 hues. Also you may notice the skirt hem looking different on each side above, that is because of the HUD's options for blend, mask, or solid in that area. My suggestion as always is to click all the things, have all the fun, and see what tickles your fancy :)

Another irresistible treat from Web Dew is their ::WD:: Set Jamari - Green, which also has some customization options to make it your own. The top, skirt, and belt are all included in sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. Then there is a HUD with 10 choices each for the striped trim (collar and cuffs) and the belt. I can't even decide which detail appeals to me the most - the portrait collar but sexy, the asymmetrical hemline, or the shredded sections that indicate a well worn, much loved outfit.

So, Petrichor took the 'green freaks' theme in an herbal direction if you catch my drift, LOL, and applied their interpretation to both of their generous prizes :) Confused? Just look closer at the pattern on the fabric, those aren't clovers with extra and pointy leaves ;) This is their :[P&E]:- Aranie Body Greenfreak bodysuit, and I'm just such a fan of their styling even back from their days as Plastik. There are sizes for Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Mounds mesh bodies included. It almost looks like multiple pieces, but it is all one intricate piece with arm bands/bows, corset, large pasties, panties, and a bold bow (I wanted to call it a big ass bow and let you decide where the dash should go...) in delightful shades of green.

Another of the 3 coins at Petrichor contains their :[P&E]:- Cheras Dress Greenfreak in a similar texture and hues. This sexy mini dress has a built in chain belt, asymmetrical and angular hemline and neckline for a really intriguing look :) It fits Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Mounds, and Waifu mesh bodies.

For my final look of the evening, I combined two of the 3 prizes from +Chandra+ for a really sexy result. The Nocnitsa Leather GREEN is two pieces, top and bottom, each in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. I get strong vibes of wings, and the rear view is definitely an eyeful ;) Please know that any time I comment on something being revealing, it is never a complaint or a judgy thing, just a recognition of wow, that is sexy! The color is a perfect match for the Hecate Boots GREEN prize, alluring mid-thigh high platform boots that make our legs look like they go on forever. These fit Kupra, Legacy Female, Legacy Male, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. Just because I wore these two prizes together certainly doesn't mean you have to, if you have other styling ideas I always encourage that. It was a fairly busy Wednesday, and I had a decent outing to the local park which was a perfect choice for the nice weather :) Got to see several dogs enjoying their walks, so that made things more pleasant seeing how joyful they were to be out and about. If I could swap places with a non-human creature, I think I'd want to be a dog so everything is so exciting...all the sights, sounds, smells, and treats! Anti-Valentines Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we look at the flip side of the season with SL Syndicate and their Anti-Valentines Hunt. It's a free gridwide hunt in which we are looking for hearts bound in barbed wire, and I would describe the participating designers as alternative fashion and decor. The landmarks and number of prizes at each store are on the website, and generally there aren't hints but I did see at least one at a store in hovertext on the sign. The signs do have an image of the hunt object, and let you know that the hunt is open until the 18th so we have over a week left to find these generous goodies. If you love Valentine's Day you will still probably find treats that you enjoy, and if you're sick of the mushy stuff then I think you'll feel right at home in these terrific locations.

For my first look, we have 2 of the 5, yes FIVE generous prizes hidden at FurtaCor! The :::FurtaCor:::ANTIVALENTINE HUNT:::TOP BLACK is a cropped turtleneck whose sleeves come down to the elbow, with an image on the front of zombie heart hands with Happy Valentines Day between the wrists and Horrific FX to the left. It includes Khara, Kupra, Kups, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh body sizes. Then the :::ANTIVALENTINE HUNT:::PANTS BLUE bring some sass with their pattern saying things like "Cupid is Stupid" and "It's not me, It's You". These fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

Next I changed into two more of their prizes, starting with the :::FurtaCor:::ANTIVALENTINE HUNT:::TOP WHITE. It comes in the same sizes as the first look I shared, but this one has a familiar masked face holding a Valentine for us ;) The :::FurtaCor:::ANTIVALENTINE HUNT:::PANTS PINK may have some colors of this time of year, but the sentiment says "Anti Valentines Club" among broken hearts so we won't get the message confused. They also say Cupid is Stupid, and Queen of Ghosting, which for some reason cracked me up :) I obviously have a longtime valentine in my life (Hi Xan!) but I've still got emotional scars from years when I did not or was in a bad relationship place. So I know how it felt and I even still can get tired of any holiday when people get carried away. Bring on the post-holiday candy sales!

My new FurtaCor pants came in extra handy so I could share some of the 5 wonderful treats from SHE SAID DESTROY as well :) SSD. Anti 1 on the left above says "You Make Me Puke" surrounding an old fashioned Cupid image, and SSD. Anti 2 on the right has a broken heart in between the words "You Break It You Buy It". What would the going rate be these days on buying a broken heart though? I think the brokenhearted would deserve a nice shopping spree in their favorite SL stores, ohh and maybe a new mesh body to have one untouched by the heartbreaker! That is not a threat, LOL, just random Friday night mind wanderings ;)

Same great store, SHE SAID DESTROY, but this photo has two more thoughtful prizes :) Before I forget to mention, all 5 tops are designed to fit Legacy and Reborn mesh bodies. SSD. Anti 3 looks pretty in pink, with a message "Self Discipline is a form of Self Love". On the right I slipped into SSD. Anti 5, a black tank with two hearts with tiny writing which reads "Hopelessly devoted to an idealized version of you". I'm laughing because I heard the song Hopelessly Devoted To You just a few hours ago, just randomly while listening to a 70s station. The cupids on this shirt are right that people can easily wind up infatuated with who they want someone to be, rather than who they truly are. 

Finally, the heart at Petrichor holds their stunning :[P&E]: Coriane Dress - Mothika prize. It is beautifully crafted with plunging halter neckline, daring side slit, and is lined in crimson to match the red beads strung all around. The embossed moths are delicate and lovely, don't you think? The dress fits Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Mounds bodies. As a special bonus, there is also a chair included (not shown) that matches the dress fabric and coloring, with 21 individual poses so you can have a seat while looking regal. 

Time for a Friday happy dance :) It's been quite a week, and I am ready for a Saturday of rest before a Sunday of therapy. It makes the weekends a mixed bag here, lol, but I will try my best to remain positive. Hockey game tomorrow evening, that's usually a good time, and I am still watching the housemate play Paleo Pines most days. Gifts from Petrichor

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit a store I have been a fan of for ages, Petrichor (formerly Plastik), to take a look at some of their generous group gifts. The store group is free to join, and there are plenty of treats like clothing, accessories, tattoos, and fun things to hold, all beautifully crafted and textured. This is one of those designers whose artistic nature really shines through, and it makes me so happy to see their mostly fantasy-based creations.

My first look this evening is their :[P]:- Satri Outfit FREE group gift, and wait until you hear about the many options! The top and loincloth (versions for human legs and satyr legs) each fit Hourglass and Maitreya bodies, and each of those are provided in cedar, forest, oak, and a tintable version with 40-color HUDs for each piece. The pairing on the left above is the Forest top and loincloth, and on the right I colored the tintable one with the HUDs. They all look like they were tooled from leather and buffed to a metallic sheen, very intricate!

Next I changed into the cleverly named :[P]:- Snekini gift, a combination of snek (snake) and bikini :) The black bra and thong are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite mesh bodies, and are adorned with images of snakes with their mouths wide open. I've also seen them called nope rope and danger noodles, so the internet has lots of fun terms for them. The bikini seemed to be a great way to show off one of the tattoo group gifts, so I added the :[P]:- Rosalune Tattoo. It comes in BOM layers in 25%, 60%, and 100% opacity options, with the 100% being shown here in hopes that it helps the visibility in photographs. I love the flowers on the arms, ribs, groin, butt creases, and down the legs, with great linework and a crescent moon adorned with flowers and jewels on our back. *chef's kiss*

With the Halloween season rapidly approaching, I think the :[P]:- Spidela Outfit FREE is particularly timely even if it does also have a timeless feel. We receive the bodysuit and boots each in Hourglass and Maitreya sizes, with HUDs for each. The bodysuit HUD offers 50 colors for the base, 15 for the details, and 30 for the gemstones which appear as the spider's body. The HUD for our boots is similar with 50 base colors and 15 for the details, so the trim can be contrasting or blend in for either piece. I did have to alpha out my lower legs and feet to help the boots fit better, as we do sometimes have to do for older meshes. There's a notecard explaining that it is no longer being updated or supported, well of course because it's free :) No problem here, it still looks fantastic!

Another stunning outfit that fits Hourglass and Maitreya bodies is our :[P]:- Xanie Outfit FREE gift. The body, body faded, armbands, belt, boots, and boots faded are each provided in both aforementioned sizes, and wait until you see all the HUDs! The body HUD, boots HUD, belt HUD, and choker/arms HUD all have 30 main colors and 16 trim or metals, while the body faded HUD and boots faded HUD have 25 gorgeous gradients and 16 trim/metals. These are going to be ideal for roleplay as well as just general appeal, like I truly found myself just gawking at the details for a few minutes and then playing with all the HUDs for a while.

My final look of the evening is the :[P]:- Ariah Outfit FREE group gift which is also created for the Hourglass and Maitreya mesh bodies. There are a dress, capebelt, gloves, and boots in each size, with a HUD for each as well. The HUDs for the dress, capebelt, and gloves each offer 30 fabric choices and 30 gem colors, while the boots HUD has 30 gem colors, 30 fabric colors, 12 hues for the heels, and 12 snowflake metals. Basically we can customize the living daylights out of these pieces :) The capebelt is such an intriguing notion, reminiscent of coattails on a formal jacket like a tuxedo.

It was a fairly low-key day here, unlike tomorrow when I have a therapy session and a late afternoon phone call with my family doctor to make up for the call last week that got botched somehow (phone didn't ring or vibrate). Exposure therapy is rough stuff, and I have been a bundle of nerves for two days now so I can only imagine how I'll be when that session happens. The Warehouse Sale

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to check out another exciting celebration of an event's anniversary, this time The Warehouse Sale. This post apocalyptic themed region and sales event brings a wide range of clothing, accessories, and home decor for guys and gals, so if this feels like your SL vibe then come on down! For their 3rd anniversary, most of the designers have a free gift in a crate in front of their display (well more like between the booths) that we can claim with their free group tag. It's open until the 18th of September, so you have plenty of opportunity to visit, pick up demos, claim those gifts, and do your final shopping :)

My first look is a combo of two generous gifts, among many that you can combine however you wish :) The top is our REKT_Cropped Top TWS Anniversary gift, a t-shirt layered over fishnet for a playful mood. The front does say "3rd Anniversary" but it's small and partly in my cleavage LOL, so you'll have to take my word for it...actually 3th, not 3rd. We receive eBody Reborn, Legacy, and Perky sizes in this gift. Then we pan down to the **Honey*Soul**Leggins_Mya which is a generous fatpack of solid colored leggings in 12 great colors. They are system/BOM layers so as long as your mesh body is compatible, they got ya covered! So versatile, I can think of lots of things I have blogged recently that would go delightfully with at least one color of these terrific pants.

This charming set is the AURICA Milli Outfit NUDE, whose jacket and dress each fit eBody Reborn, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. They have that cute curled lettuce edging, and the neckline really frames our cleavage :) Silly story, I'd switched to the Legacy body today and am still getting used to it...so I needed to use its HUD to hide a couple prominent body parts (the nipples, LOL, they were poking through) and from lag and inexperience I somehow managed to accidentally apply a neck blender color that was painfully obvious and I couldn't find how to get rid of it >.<  Yikes! There was what I thought was an eraser icon at the bottom but it didn't work, so I wound up having to reset the body to the default settings. I'm sure I missed something obvious and simple, or the HUD was just being quirky, but that was my brain fart moment of the day ;)

I decided I needed something tasty, so please allow me to tempt you with the :[P]:-Berry Cupcakes gift from Petrichor. You can choose from raspberry or strawberry each in left and right versions, or a rez version for each to use as decor. There is also a napkin and fork set to place nearby the decor cupcakes, if you have guests and are feeling extra fancy :) Clearly I didn't bother with a fork here, because how would I even hold one when I'm double fisting the sugary treats?

Next it was time to show off another duo of gifts, starting with the Bipolar - Butterfly Top - Fatpack. There are sizes for Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies included, with a HUD that offers 20 textures for the top and 6 colors for the 3D butterflies that have landed on it :) There are some patterns and some solid hues for the cropped top, so click those buttons and have some fun! The #KLUBB - "Valentina" Booty Shorts [Razor Blade] gift matches the flirtatious feeling, being skintight and dipping below the navel but still cut relatively modestly. They fit Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies with ease. 

My final look of the evening had me humming "Putting on the Ritz" but with a slight lyrical substitute ;) It's our [Glitzz] Cibelle Dress - Gift Black, and what a sexy treat this is! It is so elegant with those cute little bows and lace, and the garter straps in the front adding some sizzle. The gift includes Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizing. Putting on the Glitzz indeed! 

I feel like my day might best be described with the Kermit flailing gif, LOL, not that it was bad but very busy. Tomorrow will be just as busy, as well as Friday, so I might as well get used to it. SL19B Gets Frosted

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a look at some of the free gifts found on the Frosted region at the SL19B Shop & Hop, one of 20 regions in this 19th birthday extravaganza. It is amazing to think of all that has been created and has evolved in Second Life during almost 2 decades, and I have been delighted to witness much of it. The shopping portion of the event has a few days remaining, and nearly every designer is offering a free gift in addition to discounted offers and exclusive items. Every time SL holds a Shop and Hop event, it is always well worth visiting!

For my first look of the evening, I slipped into the lovely ::ALTER::Fany Mini Dress / Nude gift. This ruffled wrap dress has slit sleeves and is tied in the back just like on the sleeves, in a soft beige shade. Our gift includes Freya, Hourglass, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes.

Then I had fun trying on both versions of our [[2Love]] Hanna Top & Skirt gift, Nude and Orange. Each is packaged separately with the top and skirt in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. Since they are individual pieces, you could mix and match the tops and skirts if you wish :) The pinky tan and the burnt orange colors do go well together, don't they? Especially since both have a sparkly looking texture.

Our gift from MONOMANIA is their Gentlewoman Choco outfit, one of the few that adheres to our Steampunk theme of the event :) The blouse with vest (one piece) and pants are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the shoes fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink mid height feet. The rich brown color definitely reminds me of dark chocolate, and there is a refined air to this outfit that straddles the line beautifully between masculine and feminine.

One of the best parts of multiple gifts is the chance to combine them to create a new look, like I did here. I started with the [ADD] Beverly Dress - OrangeC, which fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The scoop sides and mostly bare back are beautiful details, as well as the plunging neckline laced loosely together just above the navel. Then I added the gift from Dark Mouse called *DM* Abstract Leaves Necklace & Earrings. Each of these has a HUD so we can choose from 4 metals and 4 pearl colors. You can see a closeup view of the necklace for a better idea of the leaves and the way the pearls resemble berry clusters. 

My final look features a new feathery friend I made at Shop & Hop, although instead of feathers he seems to be intricately carved and painted :) It is the :[P]:- Chonkbird Gift - from Petrichor, and has a built in hold pose to show off our bird in your choice of 8 colors via HUD. I love birds of all shapes and sizes, so I definitely couldn't resist this chubby cutie. 

It was a busy day making plans for the weekend, and I watched another episode of Stranger Things (one more to go before the final two are released very soon) that had my mind reeling. So many answers, so many more questions! The storyline has always pulled me in, even if the gore this season has been challenging for me. I look away a lot, but am still getting the gist of it. My houseguest will be arriving late tomorrow evening, probably while I am in the midst of blogging, and will be here until Monday evening. I am planning on taking my usual Saturday off from blogging, no other changes at this point but something could come up last minute I guess. Trick or Treat Lane

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some treats to show you, quite literally, thanks to the Trick or Treat Lane event. This is the 5th round of the annual tradition, and every participating designer is offering an exclusive sales item as well as a trick or treat gift. Some are treats and located in the bag out front of their display, others are tricks where the bag is hidden somewhere within their booth. It was great fun to visit, and I am always impressed by the way the region is decorated for the spooky season. Many designers have other offers, some of which are discounted for the duration of the event, which is open until November 1st so you have ample time to explore and visit as many times as you wish.

My first look of the evening is the striking gift from Senzafine called Evanora - ToTL Haunted. It comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. The blending of blue into purple then black is perfect for the night sky, and the bats are a lovely seasonal touch. The high-low hem and flared sleeves also serve to flatter our curves. 

1313 Mockingbird Lane is ready for Halloween with their Burtonesque Jacket/Skirt, a gorgeous combo in black and white with golden trim. Each piece is rigged to fit the Maitreya body, and can be worn together or separately as you will see in the next couple of photos. There is also a HUD included to show/hide the panties that are built into the skirt. I decided the neckline deserved to frame more than just cleavage, LOL, so I added the charming Arachnes Necklace w/Resize gift from Oubliette. It has a family of gemstone spiders crawling around the silvery web, and you can just give it a click if you wish to access the resize scripting.

I kept the 1313 skirt on here but switched tops to the gift from JR Wolf Creations. Their Hallows T Shirt is decorated in several different occult symbols, all in a silvery tone that looks terrific against the black backdrop of the shirt. It is provided in sizing for Alice, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. To add a touch of color, I went with the treat from CELESTE which is their Spiked Hoop Earrings, although I did it a little differently than one might expect ;) The gift includes a purple pair and a green pair, so I wore one of each to allow you to see both pretty hues. 

The 1313 skirt got a little more use, as I wore it again here with the zOOm - Hunted Sweater. Their gift includes Freya, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with cropped hem and extra long sleeves to balance against the cowl neck. The contrasting textures coordinate quite nicely, and do have a seasonal feel that I appreciate. I also am appreciating the tasty treat from Petrichor, their :[P]:- Geobeat Cookie [Halloweenies] seen in my left hand. It has a built in hold pose as shown, and the lines of icing remind me of wireframe. The heart shape looks so pretty with the ombre of orange to purple icing, on a dark chocolate cookie.

For my final look tonight I started with the gorgeous gift from Viki called Faith. It features one of my favorite color combinations, purple and black, and has a rich, beautifully embroidered texture. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing to fit a wide range of bodies. With the bare shoulders and low neckline, I decided it deserved to show off the equally pretty CHIMAERA - Valentine collar - Rainbow Noir. So many dazzling colors in the heart pendant, I think you will find it goes well with nearly anything you wear it with. I was also intrigued by the gift from Secret Oktober, which is the *SO* Skulls n' Roses Mask I am wearing. It has a resize script built in, so you can adjust it to fit your face just right. I also couldn't resist sharing a closer view of the nails I have been enjoying in all of these images, the treat from DP Koffin Nails called FatPack - Pentacle Moon. There are 6 designs, 3 colors each with a mirrored version, and the fatpack means you get Maitreya, Omega, and Slink appliers. Each has fingers and toes compatibility, so you could apply one design to your fingers and a different choice for your feet. 

Not much to share about my day, as it was fairly quiet other than an update on my grandmother. She was admitted for observation and should be released tomorrow, and it sounds like she is doing pretty well. She had high blood pressure before, and anything heart related is going to be a concern for a stroke survivor I guess, but things sound like they are under control. My guess is that a medication needed to be added or adjusted, and all the testing will point them in the proper direction.
