Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a variety of items to share from hunts, group gifts, event gifts, and even a marketplace freebie. The hunt prizes are from a $1L gridwide hunt called Cute & Curvy 2 Hunt, and I must say they have a terrific array of prizes from so many talented designers, it was hard to narrow it down to just a few to share today. The hunt object is a small lollipop, pinkish red (possibly just red but, well, windlight settings vary) and easy to hide in unusual places so I strongly suggest following those hints from their website. The event I mentioned is called AVANGARDE and many of the designers have gifts for free or a few lindens at their displays. It is their very first round, so it was exciting to see what was offered and I will be intrigued to see it grow over time.
My first look is the fantastic hunt prize from Sevyn East, their Pink Me dress for C&CH2. It is provided in fitmesh sizes for classic avatar, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, eBODY, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. Also there is a HUD with 4 different textures for the dress, two of which you can see above. The white belt with pretty bow is built in and remains white as a lovely contrast to all the textures.
Another fantastic hunt prize for just $1L can be found at Get Frocked, their Cute & Curvy Dress in 10 fitmesh sizes including standard, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP. Both the style and the colors really caught my eye, classic yet modern.
My jeans here are another $1L hunt prize, this time from Firelight Creations called {FC} Nixie Denim Set. This generous gift includes 6 different styles (capris, cut off shorts, jeans, shorts, worn jeans, and torn jeans) in system layers along with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. This is a great find that will definitely be a go-to staple in my wardrobe. My comfy sweatshirt is found at the AVANGARDE event I mentioned earlier, but is actually a group gift for ShopaholicSL. The Christmas Gift Hoodie Pullover comes in plenty of fitmesh sizes including standard, Belleza, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, TMP large and TMP small. The ShopaholicSL group is free to join, with a sign right above the gift that will display the join link in local chat when you give it a tickle. The pink and blue colors are one of those fun coincidences that I was simply lucky enough to find a lot of today, after choosing those shades for my hair, but I didn't even seek out the colors. Perhaps they sought me out instead.
Still at the Avangarde event, these two dresses are part of the generous gift from ATTITUDE, which consists of a few textures, vases, candles, and the single fitmesh Sweet Desires dress on the left, plus two copies of Ava Fitmesh Party Dress on the right which are both labeled size small so I am not sure what the difference is. I really like both dresses, and as you can see they each fit my Slink Physique body with no problems at all.
Time to get serious for a moment...I chose my nails for tonight not because they match so many of my outfits (although they do) but in memory of someone I have known since childhood who passed away from breast cancer very recently. She fought bravely for several years, and in addition to her loving husband she leaves behind 3 children and a large extended family who adored her. Marie was one of those people who was always described as sweet and kind, and I genuinely never heard a bad word against her in the decades I knew her. Cancer sucks, and I am deeply saddened by this and every loss. My nails are from Nail Me! and can be found for free on the marketplace, along with a few other awareness designs in their marketplace store so please check those out if you wish to honor someone. I picked up a few wonderful new group gifts for September and it occurred to me that I ought to share them with all of you :) Just a few stores to visit, and all groups are free to join. Many stores change out their group gifts monthly, so these early days of a new month can lead to a lot of exciting group notices.
This first look features the 3 new group gifts at WICKED, which coordinate beautifully or can be mixed into your existing wardrobe quite smoothly. The first is the Eileen Top in Teal, a sweater just right for the cooler days ahead without being too heavy. I love the off shoulder style and 3/4 length sleeves! This comes in plenty of fitmesh sizes including standard, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. The stunning earrings are called Stevie in Black, and include a HUD for 5 metal colors of those sassy spikes. Speaking of HUDs, the third gift Selma Heels in Teal also have one with many color options for various aspects...4 for the top (the part that's black in the inset), 4 for the sole, 6 for the inside and 6 for the metal.
While at Wicked, I picked up a hunt prize because it's an ingrained habit at this point. This is their prize for the Fall Tears Hunt, where a $1L and finding a pale red leaf will get you this playful Avery Outfit. The outfit includes the top and shorts each in lots of fitmesh sizes: 5 standard, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. Even the pretty necklace you see here is included in this hunt prize.
My next stop was GeMyles, where they offer gifts for not only their own group but several others that cater to fitmesh, specific bodies, and the like. I am showing you two of them here, the top being their Geraldine Hippy Gypsy Top for the Fitmesh Fanatics group. It is provided in 8 great sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. The Luana Hippy Sneakers are a great match for it, designed for Slink high feet and these are their own group's gift. As with the first photo, I was in need of a pair of pants so I turned to the versatile Marketplace gift from Delizio that I have blogged before, system layers and Omega appliers in several different colors.
Another gift to be found at GeMyles is for the SLF&O group, and it is their Moretty Jeans and Shirt set. This is actually a single mesh piece, in standard mesh sizes, so it's great for when you want to get dressed easily in style. I have a fondness for animal prints in any color, and these jeans are terrifically textured with perfect shading.
My last look of the night is courtesy of Nail Me! and their new September group gift, Doodling. They had back to school in mind when designing this set, which is compatible with Maitreya, Omega, and Slink. The 4 designs include a solid red and solid blue (coincidentally my old high school colors) and two lined pages, the before and after of a session of doodling it seems :) You can mix and match or choose any of the four for a great manicure.
Quick skin note, tonight I am wearing the newest group gift from 7 Deadly s{K}ins which is not free to join but does occasionally have free periods so I recommend keeping an ear out for those. Their new gift is named Klaasje and comes in their popular Caramel skin tone, with a host of appliers including the Omega I used here for body, hands, and feet. The lips are particularly noteworthy, as they are nearly nude but by no means plain or too understated. I love them!
My busy but very fun weekend continues into the holiday Monday, when I will be enjoying a barbecue with friends and family. It isn't about the food for me, but the company and the time we spend together. Of course, I can't ever resist my mom's potato salad :) Today we did some walking and Pokemon hunting, hatching several eggs and visiting a park a few towns away. Hiya everyone! I was in the mood for some manicures, and I thought about the wonderful group gifts that have cropped up recently involving our nails and decided to show you a few favorites. All the groups involved are free to join, and the gifts are free with the group tag, so your nails can look stunning on a budget. I also picked up a dollarbie prize from the Pool Party Hunt, a gridwide $1L hunt, so I could have a great bathing suit to wear while showing you my pretty manicures.
First we have a good look at the aforementioned bikini, the T7 Design's hunt prize which includes several sizes for each top and bottom: standard, a fitted size, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique versions. Also included is a HUD with 16 different textures to choose from, so this is a lot of versatility for a single linden. You can see a few other textures in the backgrounds of all my nail photos below. My nails here are the newest weekly group gift from Hello Dave, which made me giggle, called No Time! The idea is a rushed manicure or midway through being done, and you can see there are 5 different designs to scatter about your nails for that humorous feeling. In reality I did forget to paint one of my nails completely once before leaving the house for a family gathering, so I can sympathize in a different way. This HUD is compatible with Slink and Omega.
This next set of beautiful nails is a gift from Entice found at the Designer Circle event, I believe the round may end fairly soon so do not hesitate if you're interested :) These are called Ever Really Loved a Woman Nails and feature 6 designs, each a different color flower blossom atop a black tip and a nude nail bed. You can see they have a pretty shine as well. The HUD is compatible with Slink, Omega, Maitreya, and Belleza, so most mesh hands out there can use this lovely free gift.
If you are a fan of Entice's nails, you will be pleased to see another of their creations as a group gift for the Makeup Room event which is also ending very soon. This reminds me of lace or stained glass, with the delicate etched pattern in 6 colors. The set is called Steal My Sunshine Nails and is again designed for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink.
If you crave some pearly pastel sheen for your nails, head on over to Veechi and pick up their current group gift called Mirror Pigment Nails. There are 5 amazing colors, and the gift includes HUDs for Omega, Slink, and Maitreya. They remind me of Easter, and mother of pearl or the inside of seashells. I simply could not resist these :)
Speaking of things I can't resist...you cannot steal my pikachu nails, but you can head to Nail Me! and catch your own! This is their August group gift, yes that means you need to hurry, called Catch Em All and has just the two designs on it (red pokeball, yellow adorable Pikachu face) for Maitreya, Omega, and Slink. I don't think you really need to be a fan to appreciate how cute these designs are, although I am still somewhat amazed at how quickly and completely I became a Pokemon fan. I am a longtime fan of Nail Me though so this is just a special icing on the cake ;)
It was a hot, busy, overall good weekend here and I am really looking forward to several things happening in the near future. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am showing you a few prizes from The Sinner's Hunt: Gluttony which is a free gridwide hunt organized by The Sinister Goth. You will be looking for an orange skull at the participating stores, and for this hunt the next landmark can be found in the folder from the prize :) That has been omitted from many hunts lately, and I honestly do prefer having the LM right in there and handy. Here are some looks at what can be found in those skulls.
This stunner is prize #9 from DarkCandy Creations. Their amazing {DC} Royal Gluttony Gown/Jewels is so generous, consisting of several mesh sizes (standard, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and all the jewelry you see (armlets, bracelets, necklace) plus shoes for Slink high and Maitreya high heels. All the textures are wonderfully detailed, and I love how the necklace looks so pretty coming or going. The sheer draping in the back of the neckline is an excellent touch too, very elegant.
For even more sparkle, head to Vero Modero and find their #10 skull to claim this [VM] Deep Dress Cooper Plait (copper plate?) in standard mesh sizes. It reminds me of dragon scales, with a very alluring style. I accessorized it with the prize from #12 Vintage Touch, their Gluttony Pendant whose coloring works very well with the dress. I included a closer peek so you could see the lovely flower in the center, and the chain really gleams without being blingy.
If all this hunting is making you hungry, Pastiche has a solution for you in their hidden skull. Prize #3 is this Sydney Cafe Set TSM Edition, featuring the chair and table you see here which are each copyable so you can rez as many as you need. The chair includes animations for male and female, eating, drinking, full, and more (I am using a female eating pose here) and the table has options for clear, a single rose, or the glutton's feast shown above. I can't decide if that array of food is impressive or just frightening ;) It sure looks tasty though.
One last glimpse for the night, a mouthie from Souzou Eien named Pearls Before Swine. The open mouth pose is built in, and I must admit this made me smile with the wordplay. Those pearls, diamonds, and gold chain are an interesting nom for the gluttony theme.
Nail note of the night: I got a group notice from Nail Me! about a free gift for Pride Month, so I headed there to find the rainbow that contained it. My train of thought went something like this: "Hope I can find it...why is there a giant rainbow outside the entire front of the building? Could that really be it? *buys for $0L* Okay that was fun and easy!". Soooo yep, LOL, you can do this even if you aren't a seasoned hunter. It includes HUDs for Slink, Maitreya, and Omega, and each has a single design with rainbow stripes. Enjoy!

Hiya everyone! I finally interpreted a mostly illegible note I'd written myself the other morning after 12 straight hours online (the eyes and hands are no longer sharp by then it seems) and was excited to remember what I wanted to remind myself...go visit Hilly Haalan and join their free group, claim lots of free gifts! That's worth remembering :)
Our first look is a sexy shirt dress, the Sonia Dress, in a rich silky grey with some buttons left undone at both top and bottom. This is a flexible style, as you could wear it as is and look terrific, or you could layer it with things like a tank top, leggings, jeans...make it more casual. There are no wrong answers, just looks that suit your personal style best.
I really enjoy the color and style of this lovely gift, the Bea Dress in a delicious raspberry color. It has lot of straps to provide glimpses of skin, very alluring as is the slightly flared skirt.
Another stunner, this is the Nina Dress with its striking design and playful cutouts. As you can see, the back view is as impressive as the front :)
Perhaps you need something a bit more suited for chilly weather, this terrific gift of their Cathy Coat and Jeans should certainly do the trick :) The top is so pretty with its peplum hem and delicate pattern that reminds me of dandelions, and the neutral jeans keep the dressy feel.
One last look, the flirty Jenna Dress in a swirl of glimmering black with just a hint of draping at the neckline. This dress needs to be taken dancing! I think the most I'd add is something simple as an accessory, perhaps some small earrings or a bangle bracelet.
Nail note of the night: I greatly enjoyed picking up the newest group gift from Nail Me! earlier, a set called Disco! with 3 choices of texture (silver, gold, or a mixture of silver and gold glitters) and appliers for Slink, Maitreya, and Omega. My day has been better than expected, from the new Amish market (more goodies than should be allowed in one building) to my usual haunt being as fun as always. Hiya everyone! It has been a busy morning already, zipping around the grid claiming so many terrific Advent gifts. I have a special folder for all the landmarks and I marked the ones that I need to change to the group tag to collect their gift, trying to stay organized. I love seeing the decorations at each place, and I hope all of you enjoy any places you're visiting along with the generous gifts :)
First we have a very sexy lingerie set from Emerald Couture, called O My Chel in Hot Pink and Black. It includes the system layers for bra and panties, plus appliers for Belleza, Omega and Maitreya, along with the mesh lacy robe and matching Slink high shoes. Look at that cute heart in the base of the shoes! My tattoo is also an Advent calendar gift, this one from Kamiri, and is their Vines Flower tattoo with the system layer shown and a TMP installer plus a MEGA HUD with plenty of applier options. This beauty is today's Advent calendar gift from Purple Candy, their Louper in Blue dress. No group needed, just find the right number decorating the tree inside the main building. You will receive this dress in standard mesh sizes, along with a second outfit that will be a surprise to you since it's not shown :)
This sexy number is today's gift from *SOIR* and is called Se'Var White. It is a bit different than most mesh clothing, as there is no alpha included and it just comes in a few specific sizes: basic body as shown, Maitreya, Slink, and TMP versions. The snowflake layers on each shoulder are so pretty, and I love the delicate frosted pattern.
Loordes of London has a wonderful treat for us today, as there were a couple of days the owner was unable to get online so now we can claim 3 gifts at once. They are counting backwards, so today it is #20, 19 and 18, and you do need to join the group but it is currently free. The dress from #20 is called Tunikamekko, such a lovely deep color and the attached belt is delightful too. Standard mesh sizes are provided. Gift #18 is the Helix earrings, couldn't resist showing you a closer look of the beautifully crafted gemstone beads and the fun style. Gift #19, not shown, is a pretty mesh skirt, so don't hesitate! One last look for the day, this is the female gift from the Bees Heaven Advent calendar board and is called "Kitties" because of the seasonal trio on the sweater. This is actually a single mesh piece, which can certainly make things easier, in several sizes so you can find the best fit. No group is needed for this lovely gift.
Today we have a nail note along with skin and eyes...the nails are day 7 from Hello Dave, a daily gift for their group members which is free to join. My skin is actually a gift from WoW Skins for the KittyCatS calendar, and is their new skin design for 2016 in their updated shade of tan. It is darker than the previous tan I usually wear, and I noticed subtle differences in the face and body shadowing as well. The gift includes a version with or without cleavage, and I used the Omega appliers from their group gift for the month (NOT free to join) as none are included with the Advent version. My eyes are yet another terrific Advent calendar gift from Inkheart, this set being their Spring Eyes in Goldish. These charmers, as with their other gifts so far, come in system and mesh versions in 3 sizes each.

This morning was a fun adventure in collecting plenty of Advent Calendar gifts, and I can't possibly express my gratitude to the impressive number of designers all over the grid who are contributing their hard work to brighten our December. Here are just a few of the many free gifts that are brightening my day!
Emerald Couture has a gift for us that proves that an outfit doesn't need a skirt to be classy and sexy. This is their Old Hollywood Glam outfit, and it consists of mesh high waist pants in standard sizes with a great belt attached, a system layer top with appliers for Maitreya, Belleza, and Omega, clip on earrings (cute little button style) and even the matching Glam Heels that fit my Slink high feet like a dream. This looks to be an outfit that would be flattering on many different body types.
Today's gift from Entice is a smoking hot red dress, with little details like the slits at the shoulders and that great black lace trim. It's called Hungry Eyes in Red, and you do need to be a group member to claim this gift (find the right present under the tree, right click and pay $1L to be immediately reimbursed) but it's free to join and well worth it.
This beautiful dress from Stellajane for the KittyCatS Advent calendar is a wonderful remedy for the winter blues ;) It's called Ice Blue Velvet Snowflake, and really brings out my eyes which are today's gift from Inkheart. For the eyes, you will need the free group tag, and these lovelies are called Glitter Eyes in Heaven. I'm wearing the medium of the 3 sizes, the mesh ones but you also get system eyes as well. You might expect my jewelry to be from the KittyCatS calendar instead, but they are actually from Formanails and no group is required. They are called Catty-1 and include the necklace, left bangle, and right ring each with a built in resizer script.
My last image of the morning, we have a playful Christmas shirt from GeMyles with Betty Boop all dolled up for the season. This is the system layer but never fear, it includes appliers for Maitreya and Omega. I'm posing next to a very interesting wall hanging from Eclectic Stars, one that sent me to google (as happens quite often!) to translate the Latin phrase on it. The gift is called Amor, the full wording is Amor Vincit Omnia (hmm actually that looks like Omina but google says it's omnia....) and it means Love Conquers All. There is a painting from 1601 by the name, but the saying itself is heartwarming. I love the scrollwork around the frame, too!
Nail note of the day: I went with our new group gift from Nail Me!, which is still free to join. This newest gift is named Sugared Cherries, and includes HUDs for Slink, Omega, and now Maitreya too. Exciting news for all you Maitreya fans! Speaking of group gifts, I am wearing the newest WoW skin today which comes in the new retooled shades for 2016, and I believe the body shading is modified as well for the new lines. The group is not free to join unfortunately, but all previous group gifts are available and I have never regretted paying the join fee. This gift includes Omega appliers for all 6 new shades too, for which my Slink hands and feet are very grateful :)

Hiya everyone! It occurred to me that I've been mentioning various nail HUDs without showing you closer views, so tonight is a perfect chance to do so. I love that Slink hands give us the ability to do each nail individually, it made tonight's post a lot easier and allows for such flexibility and creativity. Well let's have a look, shall we?
First we have one that came in handy the past couple of days for me, the [Critter] HUD from *pulcino*. It's a lucky board prize, no group needed, and offers 10 color choices with very thin stripes of white or black (depending on the main color) down the center of each nail. This HUD only works for Slink hands and feet.
My next nail treat is a moving gift from Nail Me! and is called Fantasia. They offer 4 different designs in beautiful color combinations that remind me of foil or a more subtle version of water marbling, and you need a group tag but they are currently free to join. More good news, there are 2 other group gifts waiting for you too, so you have three fantastic reasons to hurry! :) They offer Slink and Omega HUDs for us.
I had also just picked up the weekly group gift from Hello Dave, whose frequent treats have found their way to my blog many times in the past and surely will again and again. This is Jewelled Snowfall and there are 6 different colors with delicate flakes on each, from pale green to a striking blue and even a deep red. Their HUDs are compatible with Slink and Omega.
Two gifts in one photo, we have a sample of group gifts available at LIVIA and they won't cost you a bit. The left side shows the October group gift called Electric Ombre, and I am loving the pretty colors and the glitz down the middle! The right side is a group gift for the Third Life Group, similar to the SLF&O group gifts I've blogged before in that many stores around the grid offer gifts. Great news, the LIVIA group is free to join just like the Third Life Group :) The store's group currently has 3 different gifts available, and they all come with Slink and Omega HUDs.
Finally I decided to share a better look at what I'm wearing, as it is a free treasure as well :) My outfit is from Nala Design and is a Midnight Mania gift, and while a group tag is needed to click that board, the group is free to join. The outfit includes the top and skirt in standard mesh sizes, along with the matching sandals for Slink high. I also took the opportunity to show you the sunglasses that are an accessory included with my Truth hair, which is on sale on the Marketplace as I've mentioned before for $100L for the variety pack. The sunnies come with their own HUD for color choices, so you get a HUD for them, the hair bands holding the ponytails, and the hair itself so 3 HUDs mean lots of variety.
Well, no nail or hair note tonight since I already told ya the details of each :) So now I get to start worrying about how best to get Advent calendar gifts blogged in a reasonable amount of time so you don't miss their 24-hour window for each...I don't see any compiled lists anywhere online yet, but I am going to do my best to inform you about those holiday treats when I can.
