Hiya everyone! One style that has always spoken to me in RL and SL is Boho in any of its forms...hippie style, earth mama, flower child, whatever images that conjures for you. So it is exciting for me that there is an event in SL that celebrates that style, and this is the 4th year of the Boho Culture Fair so I have been lucky enough to visit the previous ones as well. Most of the stalls have a gift for $0L or $1L in a nicely wrapped gift box, and I am showing you just a few of the thoughtful gifts tonight.
This is a free gift from Stars Fashion, and is more body-conscious than we might normally see from boho fashions, but everyone has their own interpretations of things and I definitely enjoy seeing that variety. This includes both standard and fitmesh sizes so you should have no trouble finding a great fit. The pattern across the bodice has a Bohemian flair to it for sure.
Another delight I found is this *PB* Floral Mesh Backless Dress, which is $1L and includes several mesh sizes along with a HUD for two pattern changes, both shown here. That rear view is quite the revealing surprise, isn't it? :) Not overly naughty, just an unexpected peek of skin on the sides instead of the bum cleavage that we find more often.
If you crave something pretty for beneath your clothing, or instead of outerwear in the right setting, this set from .sass. is an amazing free gift. You will find inside their pretty gift box the system layers shown along with Omega and TMP appliers, and I am loving that color. I also found a stunning matching ring, courtesy of Duh! in their gift box. This is their Boho Turquoise ring, free and fantastic with the bold look and attractive setting.
J&A Rock Culture certainly has the season in mind as well as the fair's main theme, combining them in this spooky free gift that includes the Fire Spaghetti Strap Top and the Wings Jeans, plus a bonus Halloween necklace in mens and womens versions. The clothing comes in several mesh sizes, and all of this is included for free.
One final goodie for the evening, we have a Boho Ruffle Mini Dress from the gift box at MOoH! and this beauty will only cost you one single linden. The colors and the style are so fun, and it does come in standard mesh sizes.
Nail note of the night: one of my favorite places to find great manicures is La Boheme, and with that name I'd have been shocked if they weren't participating ;) Of course they are though, and for just $1L you can pick up their [LB Romance Pink] in a trio of HUDs which include one for Maitreya, one for Slink & Omega manicures, and one for Slink & Omega pedicures (but the Slink mani worked for all 20 of my nails). The design is a French manicure in several base colors, with tiny pink roses (stems and all) across the tips. They are sweet and elegant, well worth the single linden.
I started this earlier in the day than usual because of a busy evening, and I'm glad I did or else I'd be tearing my hair out right now even if it was a good reason and a fun evening :) Spent time with my adorable 89-year-old grandmother, we played Uno and chatted so it was very heartwarming. I'm the only granddaughter (out of 3 grandkids) and she's my only remaining grandparent so I cherish time with her. So extra mushy magical magpie hugs for everyone tonight!! ;)

Hiya everyone! This week should be a golden opportunity to do some gridwide hunting, with a few hunts ending in a few days and some that still have a couple of weeks to go. New ones start when the new month does, and I expect plenty of Halloween themes :) For now, I had a lot of fun preparing these photos from The Autumn Effect Hunt and hope you enjoy them.
This gorgeous set of matching bras and panties are our prize from Bodhi, who are #46 in the hunt. Find this hockey puck and you will receive these beauties in black, orange, and purple, in system layers (shown) along with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. Speaking of appliers, you can find even more in the prize #67 from Supernatural, the lovely Elvian tattoo I am wearing above. This includes appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, Omega, and even TMP for all your meshy needs :) I am showing the system layers of course, and if you're wondering about the inset photo, I wanted to show the way the flowers curve above the pubic bone area, so that white blur was necessary since the panties were covering too much of what I needed to show. The rear view is more than just a gratuitous bum shot, hehe, but a nice way to see the design on the back of the calves that are a part of this detailed ink.
If you need an eye-catching dress for a special night, or just to feel pretty because we all deserve it, then the gift from J&A Rock Culture is just right for you! Prize #23 is their denim dress with black belt attached, and has a terrific rear view as well as front view. I really like the great texture, too. A dress like this doesn't need much in the way of jewelry, but I thought it would be fun to add something edgy and I found prize #30 from Pomposity to do the trick. Their Skully Bracelets include a left and right version each of the original and an extra skulls version, which has an addition of two skulls dangling and can be seen on my right wrist above. There is a rather thorough color change menu, a glimpse of which is evident in the inset. These can match just about anything, it's fantastic!
An excellent wardrobe choice for a fall evening would be this formfitting trench coat from NoName, prize #61 in the hunt. The style is very flattering, and it includes a HUD with all 3 color choices shown, all wonderful for autumn. I will probably pair this up with a nice knit leggings or tights in the future :) Meanwhile I hope you noticed the enchanting necklace I'm wearing with it, which is our hunt gift from HollyWeird #02. I really love that crescent moon shape with the birds and tree silhouetted in such warm colors.
I always feel like nails are a detail that is small in size but huge in impact, and they really deserve a closer look whenever possible. So here is a better view of the prize from Toxxic Pandora, #33 in the hunt and glimpses shown previously. Here you can see the 3 solid colors and 3 designs, for a total of 6 options on the Slink HUD. They definitely have a fall feel, yet can be used year round for various outfits.
Well it has been a busy but overall good weekend here, and I hope yours has been whatever you needed :) Sometimes we need a couple of days to relax and unwind, other times it's more exhilarating to go out and do things, maybe with friends or family. Hiya everyone! I sure hope you aren't tired of seeing these terrific prizes from the WOMENstuff Hunt yet, since there are even more and I am still enjoying the opportunity to share them :) The variety is impressive, and this particular hunt seems to attract designers who represent a huge range of styles so you are bound to find things that suit your personal tastes. Well, let's see what strikes your fancy tonight...
Here we have a casual and colorful sweater dress from sf design, who are #149 in the hunt. The colors are fantastic (my favorites in fact) and I am a big fan of the attached belt since it adds a nice touch and since it's already attached, it's already a perfect fit with no tedious adjustments needed. Now those gorgeous ear cuffs that it turns out are only really visible in the inset are our prize from !NFINITY #090 in the hunt. These beauties have a HUD to change the small pearl colors to pink, white, or black (black shown in top image, pink in bottom) and the metal to silver, gold, or black (black shown up top, gold below). Lots of versatility there so this is a very useful find.
Lots of explaining to do here, like why I'm suddenly blonde :) The fire opals in my tiara didn't show up very well on my usual auburn shade, so it's a good thing my Magika hair has a HUD with a wide range of colors. It's also a good thing that I decided to try on the newest WoW Skins group gift, as the pale brows work nicely with lighter hair. That tiara is the amazing prize from Zuri Rayna Jewelry, who are #003 in the hunt. You know I had to show you a closer view so you could fully appreciate the artistry that went into this dazzling headdress. Speaking of 'dress', how pretty is this dress with its black lace trim and matching shoes? They are prize #102 from ILLI and you will receive the dress in the usual mesh sizes for easy fitting. The shoes are included in both Slink and Maitreya versions, called Penny which could be the color.
Let's not forget that there are plenty of casual treats to be found too, like this variety of tops and pants. The pants shown are all actually the gift from blah.BLAH.blah, who are #069 in the hunt, and are called Jasmin Fair Jeans which come with a HUD to change the pants themselves to 7 different colors, and the attached belt has 6 HUD options (white, brown or black, each accented in silver or gold) so these provide a lot of potential. On the left we have the prize from Trinite (#108) called Jessie. In the middle, the top is #118 J&A Rock Culture's prize called Blouse with Fringes Tribal. Both of those come in standard mesh sizes. On the right, I am wearing the prize from Tits Up! called Bunneh Shirt hunt gift, and they are #130 in the hunt. It comes in system layers with a HUD for Slink, Brazilia, Omega and TMP appliers. I did in fact use the HUD to apply the glove layer to my Slink hands, as the sleeves do come down that far with the pretty blue trim as you can see. This is quite a variety of tops just among these three.
Wrapping things up for the night with a bright and sassy outfit from Sin Original, we have prize #126 called Josslyn Jumper. As you can see, the fun swirl design is on the back and front of the bodice, and the flowy pants have a neat lightning pattern on them. Good news, those matching shoes with the killer platform heels are included! I always do appreciate it very much when someone includes shoes or any matching accessories really, as otherwise I will sometimes spend far too much time insisting on trying on everything in my jewelry or shoes folder to find just the right match.
Nail news of the night: this is an exciting one, there is a free gift at La Boheme this week, right at their front door on an easel. Set for sale at $0L, no group needed, you will find two sets of HUDs in the folder for Slink hands and feet. You can see their picture here, they are both corset pinstripe designs. More good news, they are having a big sale so it is well worth a TP over there!

Hiya everyone! I have some more gifts from The Aloha Fair to show you, a mixture of freebies and dollarbies as that decision was left up to the designers. Yesterday I focused on free gifts, today is mostly the $1L ones. There are plenty to enjoy from a wide variety of designers there.
These jumpsuits are both found in the surfboard from B!asta, so for $1L you get two beautiful outfits in breezy colors. I love the hibiscus print on them, and the colors are terrific.
At MOoh! you will find this delightful little dress in their surfboard for a single linden. Those ruffles and that color, so fun for the season and great for everyday wear or something a bit fancier too if the mood strikes.
It wouldn't be a summery event without plenty of bathing suits, so if you'd like a sweet mesh bikini with a refreshing watermelon print on it, head on over to the Rir stand. For just $1L you get standard mesh sizes plus a fitmesh Slink size for each the top and bottom. As you can see, it's sexy but not too revealing, nice rear coverage, and that lace in the front is a fun addition. Speaking of additions, I accessorized this with some cool shades from J&A Rock Culture. They are a free gift and come with a HUD for 4 different colors, two of which you can see above and the other two are a cheery yellow and a pretty blue.
For those days when you're feeling sassy, head on over to .Sass and grab this free pair of t-shirts with their logo on the front and a message on the back that you've been sassified. This gift provides both system layers and appliers for Omega and TMP in each color.
Finally I have two playful free gifts from surfboards, a cute hand fan from Duh! and a Summer Camp shirt from {D.o.R.k.} that comes in system layers only. I tried camming in to read that banner beneath the words Summer Camp, but no luck, so that remains a mystery to me. The fan has an animation built in but my AO overrode it easily so it's fine if you prefer no animation.
Nail note of the night is the same as yesterday's, another free gift from the Aloha Fair courtesy of Kitty's Claws. I'm still loving those 10 floral patterns, and the HUD itself is quite fun.

Hiya everyone! By now you know I love cart sales, so it's no surprise that I was thrilled to finally get to visit the Flawless Hot Summer Nights Cart Sale & Hunt. They have exclusive items for $100L or less from each vendor, and the hunt is for popsicles on or near each cart that contain free goodies. Most are a 3 color combo, I seem to recall at least one variation but they all have that traditional popsicle shape with a wooden stick, and look like a great refreshing idea for the heat :) So let's see some of the generous gifts you can find in those treats!
Summer certainly means bathing suits, and this one has an American flair for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. This is the prize from one of two popsicles at the TD cart, and I accessorized with the prize from J&A Rock Culture. Their sunglasses look unisex or maybe intended for the guys primarily, but I think their style is an interesting pairing for the feminine bikini. By the way, that bathing suit is 2 separate mesh pieces, each in standard mesh sizes.
The other prize from the TD cart is this fantastic dress, hotter than a two dollar pistol! The stripes really catch the eye, and that style is wonderful with the off the shoulder sleeves and short tight skirt. I added the Charlisse earrings from LUMINESSE, since every great outfit deserves a touch of sparkle.
Bikinis are a staple for summer, so it's good to see another gift in a very different style than the first one I shared, since variety is the spice of Second Life :) This cute polka dot swimsuit is our prize from the Jinx cart, and now I can't stop thinking of the phrase "itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini". I added the earrings from *N@N@* and their cart's popsicle, as the bead and swirl seem to work well with the dots of the bathing suit.
How about another smoking hot dress? This amazing gift from KL Couture is called Irma in lime, and the plunging neckline is sure to turn heads. It's also a perfect frame for the elegant necklace from Beloved Jewelry, which is in one of their popsicles, and the matching earrings are in the other. I can easily see matching them with plenty of other things too, so they'll get a lot of use.
Last goodies for the night, we have a gorgeous dress from SlackGirl called Keysha. The adorable ring is the prize from Look*Me and picks up the various shades of pink in the dress really nicely. We can always count on the Flawless cart sales for bargains and freebies.
Nail note of the night: {Posh Pixels} has a Slink HUD in their cart's popsicle for us, and that's what I used for all the photos tonight. There are several different manicures on there, with abstract designs like fractals, and a variety of colors can be seen in each. Well worth picking up! My hair is one I've previously blogged from Truth Hair's discount room, Eden, with the flowers you can change colors or completely turn off as I had for most of the photos.

Hiya everyone! I have some more goodies to show you from the Flawless Cart Sale & Hunt, plenty of treats to be found in the cheery red poppies hidden in and near the carts.
This fun outfit is in the poppy from J&A Rock Culture, and it includes the mesh tank top, system layer capri pants, and the silver necklace I'm wearing too. The ladybug graphic is so cute, isn't it? I used the nail HUD I mentioned yesterday from Celtic Wolf, the Red Orchid one, as the deep red matched well.
For something a bit more revealing, you could go with the shirt found in one of the DragonLady Designs poppies, which I matched up with this very cute and super short skirt from *Zesty*. There are 3 poppies from DragonLady Designs, system layer clothing without appliers. My nails are one of three colors on the HUD from L'Anguisette, which is called Fandango and includes violet, magenta, and mauve shades.
Entice has this treat for you in their poppy, the striking Wildflower dress in Abstract. I used the Celtic Wolf nail HUD again, and accessorized with bracelets from Beloved Jewelry. Their poppy contains these light gold bracelets with gemstones, along with a darker gold bearing the same pretty gemstones.
How about a trio of party dresses this spring? The poppy from ::JOLI:: contains all three mesh dresses in each standard size, and I can't even choose a favorite so I had to show you all of them :) They combine simple styling with terrific texturing.
For something a bit more dramatic, we have this intricate dress called Voir Mesh Frock from Snowpaws. The long sleeves and the texture give it a more winter feel, but then the skirt is not only short but partly transparent, so this dress is a bit of a mystery to me. I was pleased to have a chance to show off the other Celtic Wolf nail HUD again, Brushed Metals.
