Shopping and Hopping

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I hope to influence your weekend plans with some more Shop & Hop SL23B gifts :) If you haven't started exploring the 24 regions yet, I think this would be a great time to enjoy the festivities. Every region has 20 stores represented, so there are 480 brands represented with discounted offers and free gifts. I keep them sorted by region, so tonight the gifts you'll see here are all from Poppy. The best way to ensure that you don't miss any free goodies is the FabFree spreadsheet that they have worked so hard to create and maintain :) The team keeps it up to date and just do an impressive job of collecting the info in the first place that I'm eternally grateful to them for it. We have some hot and rainy RL weather so if yours is similar, all the more reason to spend time in SL instead of outdoors.

First I'm enjoying the beautiful RosenRot - Leo Dress gift. I'm a huge fan of florals, and the flirty style has a cleavage cutout to match the ones in the back and the midriff. Leave it to FTCOR to dazzle me with denim :) The :::FTCOR::DONNA_JEANS_ROMPER::: FATPACK gift will fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. It also includes a HUD with 20 wonderful textures, some of which are shades of basic denim and many are patterned and tinted denim options. The variety makes me as happy as the denim itself, but let's not forget the crossed straps above that deep plunging back opening. 

If you've ever found a gift that was simply too cute not to share, I feel you! That was me when I tried out the Crowded Room - Chicken Plushie, which you can just add to automatically hold with both hands and give it a snuggle. Click and you'll see it squish a little, and it makes a squeak like a dog toy :) Fun fact - there are two sizes and I'm actually showing off the small here, LOL, so the large is even bigger! That's a lot of feathery fun to cuddle up with, and I'm going to make sure Xan picks up a copy for himself too. We both love the cuter side of SL like this :)

Sometimes in SL we want to turn up the heat even more, like the KiraStyle // 371 // gift of a full outfit. The dress, slip (C-string), and socks are each provided in Belleza Classic, Legacy, Pinup, Lara X, and Reborn body sizing, and there is a HUD with 5 colors apiece for the dress, slip, socks, and belt. It's impressive to me that as revealing as this outfit is, all the essentials are covered :) While I usually associate bold looks with the weekend, I also recognize that every day in SL can be weekend-like if we wish. We are creating our own realities after all, so you can be a genderless cat creature on Mars or visit the 17th century in an alternate universe. 

My final look of the night is a fantastic formal gift, the .:FlowerDreams:. Hanne gown. Isn't it stunning? The mesh gown comes in a fitmesh M size along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The flexies for left and right (attached at each shoulder in the back) and flowers for left and right sides are each separate attachments, therefore optional if you feel like wearing the gown without them. I'm wearing both flexies on the left above but not on the right, although I am wearing the flowers in both even if they are only visible from behind :) Oh, one important option is that I also added the lights that give the fabric extra sparkle and reflectivity. You can try it on without the light and then with, see what you like better for where you are headed. 

It was a warm day, but nothing compared to tomorrow so I am not complaining (yet). Dinner at my parents' was nice, and we discussed barbecue-type plans for next week. Nothing unusual, just indoor grilling and the usual sides. Punk JUSTUS Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from Punk JUSTUS, and I'm always so grateful to see that this brand has an entire room of freebies with no group tag needed. That's right, you can buy all the gifts for $0L each and even have a seat on one of 3 lucky chairs if your initial shows up :) I wasn't that lucky this morning, lol, but I've still got plenty of treats to share that won't cost you a penny. Their style is definitely on the sexy side, so this is a great place to shop if you have a hot date or wish to attract a hot date ;) Heck, even if you just want to look your best and not worry about who you're impressing, there is surely something here to tickle your fancy. Be sure to give the midnight mania board a tap on your way past to the freebie room please, as there's always a great gift waiting there too if enough people click.

First I slipped into the Cinnamon for WAIFU by Punk JUSTUS gift in all its flirtatiousness :) There are two versions of the dress, 0 and 25% transparency, each of which will fit Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Also included in the same sizes are a bikini top and bottom, as the dress alone is open up top and would show off quite a bit ;) I really like the layered look, and it's so much more fun in SL where all the layers stay right where you need them. You can probably tell that I'm wearing the 0 or solid version on the left, and 25% so slightly sheer to the right since the panties are peeking through slightly. If you have a favorite bikini or bra and panty set that you'd like to wear beneath instead, I do suggest giving it a try - BOM layers will definitely fit under, and some mesh pieces might :)

I also wanted to show you the lovely Gaelic Dress by Punk JUSTUS, which sounds like it was intended for St. Patrick's Day but that beautiful deep green hue will look terrific any day of the year. The dress and sleeves are separates, in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. We can easily wear the dress without the sleeves if we wish :) I'd like to mention that since the layered skirt is so short, particularly in the back, I'm wearing the bikini bottoms from the Cinnamon gift beneath still, and will be in the next image as well.

Delilah by Punk JUSTUS has the same playful style as the previous look, so it includes the same pieces and sizes. As a special bonus, it's also got a HUD with 3 colors each for the top, skirt, and sleeves. This means we get to mix and match, which I always have so much fun with :) It gives a Black Swan ballerina vibe, don't you think?

Next we see the Spotted by Punk JUSTUS gift, which includes the cross-strap halter dress and separate sleeves. Both of these are provided in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes. There's also a HUD enclosed with 5 choices, 3 of which are solid colors and two are fun patterns. The one not shown is a cow print that probably inspired the name :) 

My final look of the evening is the delightful Barbie Girl by Punk JUSTUS gift. This bra and panty set (bikini?) is crafted from a hot hot pink satin, with a charm on each piece shaped like a heart and saying LOVE. Whew, it has certainly been a weird weekend...from the canceled farmers market that could have gone on because the rain didn't start until at least an hour past its closing time, to my hockey team losing at home instead of sweeping their series, it has had some frustrations for sure. I know it's trivial in the long run, and I'm not focused on either issue heavily :) I just missed seeing the wonderful people at the market, and who can resist all that tasty food? I've got another hockey game to enjoy tomorrow, during my support group session LOL, but I am recording it so no worries there. The game will only be about halfway done when the session ends.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to Absence, where I initially thought I'd be sharing group gifts from. Upon closer inspection (also known as simply clicking, LOL) I realized that they are in fact totally free gifts with no group tag necessary. That's great news if you are perpetually short on group slots, which I think we can all identify with ;) These treats lean towards the alternative side, think Goth or grunge, the type of things that make you want to wear smoky eyeshadow and dark stiletto nails. I'm a very boring dresser in RL, so I deeply appreciate the chance to explore various fashion styles in SL without breaking the bank. 

My first look of the evening is the gorgeous .Absence. Nomi Dress, a free gift that fits Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD offers 3 metals and 11 colors each for our dress and straps, so there are many possible ways to wear this sweet treat. Look at that shine!

Normally I'd slip into my favorite jeans from the marketplace to help show off a top, but this - ABSENCE - Lola Corset seemed to call for something a little more flirty. That would be the white pair from our Lilbird Simple BOM panties 4 colors gift that is also found for free on the marketplace :) So lovely Lola here is a strapless long length corset with attached belt and bow in the front, in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD has 7 colors each for the corset, lace, bow, and ruffles, so we can get creative with this look too. Because of the HUD's black background, I almost missed the black button that is our 7th color...that's why this look is so pastel and dainty, lol, but I promise you can tint everything black too if you desire.

Those panties did come in handy here too, helping me share the - ABSENCE - Martha Top FATPACK gift. Even though today was my birthday, it was a relatively quiet day with a fun evening gaming with friends (via phone/internet). I had a great time, and as I get older I really do learn to appreciate my friends more and more. If you've ever played Animal Crossing New Horizons, you know that on your birthday as soon as you login one of your villagers kidnaps you to your party, LOL, so it's good to make sure you are dressed nicely the night before. I am looking forward to dinner at my parents' tomorrow, and that's about the extent of my plans for the next day or two.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I kept thinking about the FabFree blog and how much they've helped inspire me over the years, so it made sense for me to explore their group gift listing :) If you join the FabFree group inworld, it is free to join and that tag (I'm Fabulous!) will give you access to so many amazing gifts that will help with your wardrobe and your home decorating. They've got a little something for everyone, male and female avatars, so I would also suggest sharing their website with your favorite guys. They don't get nearly enough free gifts in SL, and they deserve to be treated just as generously. 

My first look is the flirty .:Bad Rabbit:. Litti Top and shorts Aqva gift for FabFree. That color is stunning, and I love the way the top is knotted to lift it up to show off some waist skin. We receive Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite sizing for our top and shorts, separates so we can pair them with other items if we wish as well. 

I think the [K-Style] FIORELLA TOP & SKIRT #5 gift reminds me of lingerie, probably because of the lace and ruffles. The strapless top and miniskirt are each included in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, and you can find this gift behind the front desk with lots of other goodies for various groups. Such a pretty outfit in a lovely color!

The [Flaneur] Kiara Set gift was the one that helped me realize I'd accidentally worn the cleavage version of my skin ;) That simple shadow makes a huge difference! Kiara includes the daringly open top and zipped miniskirt, in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Nhumana, Reborn, and Squish mesh bodies. The waist of the skirt catches the eye with the slender strand that winds around the back and meets on either side of the zipper.

Over at Violet Skies, their current FabFree gift is the Josie Green Dress seen here. It has a fun floral pattern and darker green fringe beneath the bodice, perfectly matching the large ring that holds top and skirt together. How was everyone's weekend? Mine was chilly but nice, and the farmers market was fun but I wish I'd figured out a way to prevent the windburn that just a few minutes outdoors was able to cause. There is just some reddening and tenderness lingering, should be fine in a day or so. The temperature was below freezing, so I was almost glad there were so few vendors there; admittedly there were 2 I really missed and wished they had been there this week though. One is a crochet artist who had asked for suggestions previously and might have been bringing something for me if she'd been there, or to last week's canceled one. I enjoy supporting local businesses and people who take the time to create items by hand, and I've had family members who crocheted or knitted so I've always been impressed by the dedication it takes. Enchanted with Fame

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post took a turn midway through, as I got distracted by some fantastic gifts at one of the hunt stops from the Enchanted: Frostbitten hunt. Its full name is Enchanted Presents Frostbitten: A Tale From the Graveyard, so it has a bit of a spooky feeling (leftover from last month's holiday?) with the encroaching cold weather creeping over us like a chilly fog. That's my own take on it anyway :) The prizes are free, and hiding inside gravestones that are engraved with the hunt name, months, and "Here Lies a Very Special GIFT". A few stores have more than one stone waiting, and the website will let you know that as well as giving you the landmarks and hints. Our prize folders do contain the next landmark as well though, so it is not as urgent to have the site on hand when hunting. I always do in case the hint giver at the store isn't working or I wind up having to skip a stop. As for the twist in the post, you'll see that one of the stores had several irresistible gifts that stopped me in my (hunt) tracks.

Would you believe that my first look is comprised of 4 different prizes from the same stop? There's even a fifth one not shown, so you've got a handful of gravestones to track down here :) The - MicRo - Outfit Mystical Dawn Hunt consists of the top, skirt, gloves, and horns you see here. The clothing all fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, with the gloves gift having separate fur for the upper arms that is therefore optional. The horns are adjustable and look just stunning draped in blue beads and gems. The other treat is a long blonde ponytail hairstyle that curls down past the waist. Be sure to follow all your hints and find all five goodies!

[FAME] is the place to find our next prizes, a Dress, Bolero, and Belt that combine to create this lovely look. These tombstones each hold Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn sizes of their respective pieces, which can be worn all together as I am above or individually if you prefer. The dress is strapless without the bolero, and it looks just as pretty without the belt, although I'm a huge fan of the way the little pompoms pull the look together :) This is why that famous ice cream parlor touts having 31 flavors; we all have different tastes and that's a good thing. 

I'm always scouting any store I visit for gifts, so imagine my delight upon seeing the free gifts with no group tag needed! This [FAME] Bodysuit - Umi is a beauty in blue, with sassy crossed straps both front and back. There are Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes included. The various shades of blue are making me think of the sky throughout the day, but there is a subtle spotted pattern on the front of the top portion too.

For my final look this evening, I've slipped into the playful [FAME] BodySuit - Aneli which is a free subscriber gift. When I clicked the sign, it turns out I wasn't already subscribed (oopsie) so it gave me the option to do so. Once I did and got the confirmation in local chat, I clicked it again and received this cutie :) It includes sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Prima Busty, and Reborn mesh bodies, and has a fun split style with the left half of the front and back bearing dots that remind me of dalmatians, and the right is solid pink with paw prints up top and a happy kitty on the bottom. The black ruffles are a terrific little touch too, accentuating the neckline and the hips.

I really enjoyed my evening, and chatting with friends is always a pleasant way to pass the time :) Playing a cozy game together is a treat too, just relaxing and talking about whatever comes to mind while enjoying the cuteness of Hello Kitty and pals.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some gifts to share from Punk JUSTUS, and because of their generosity these don't even require a group tag to pick up :) You will see 2 walls in the room with the lucky chairs that are labeled Freebies (or Free Gifts, now I forget the exact wording) and these treats are full of variety with different seasons in mind. Since I'm getting into that autumn mindset, I chose some that are fall themed and at least one is more neutral on time of the year. Curvy avi ladies - this designer does cater to your sizes and style, so please stop by and tell your friends! 

My first look of the evening is our Denim Dress by Punk JUSTUS, entirely free with no group necessary. The ruffled sweetheart neckline looks amazing when paired with the nearly bare back and a scalloped mini skirt, all in my favorite fabric :) We receive Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes.

The flirty Hexed by Punk JUSTUS might make you think of Halloween, or it may simply call to mind a magic-filled evening with crescent moons and twinkling stars. The black and white versions are each provided in sizes for Legacy, Bombshell, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. 

For our Pumpkin Day by Punk JUSTUS gift, I added the BOM under shirt and under pants first and realized "hey wait, these need to be shown off without the dress too!" :) So on the left I'm wearing just those layers, showing off the spiderwebs and their weavers. Then on the right I've added our perfectly matching strapless dress, which comes in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes. I've switched from Lara X to Lara 5.3 at this point, to accommodate the sizes of the gifts I'm eager to share.

My final look of the evening just screams autumn, and I do mean that in the very best way :) The Thanks Sweater Dress by Punk JUSTUS gift includes not only the sweater dress but a pair of snow boots to match, both in sizing for Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. There is a HUD for the sweater dress that also adjusts the texture on the boots too, with 14 choices that range from autumn to winter type prints or solids. Then the bows and shoes HUD offers an impressive 216 colors for those portions of the boots at once. It really adds up to a wonderful amount of variety, don't you think?

My day was tiring but worthwhile, as I got to a very nice coffee & tea shop that also offers baked goods so you can sit down and unwind or (as I did) grab something to go. The pumpkin spice white mocha latte turned out to be just as tasty as I'd hoped, in decaf and with whipped cream and fancy drizzle on top :) The timing was later than I'd prefer, so it was dark and that tends to make me extra nervous because my night vision is the pits. Black Flowers Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the Black Flowers store, where they have 4 generous gifts for absolutely free :) They are labeled as group gifts but set for sale for $0L, so you actually don't need the group tag to pick them up. I recognize the brand from various events they've appeared at, and enjoy their style so I am pleased to be able to show you these generous treats.

My first look of the evening is our Black.Flowers - GroupGift March. This beautiful dress has a deep V neckline, playful slit on the left thigh, and a gathered waist with belt tied in a pretty bow in the front. There are sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, along with a HUD offering 5 colors so you can change things up whenever you wish. Color me impressed!

The Black.Flowers - GroupGift April is a flirty top and panty set that looks fun for lounging or doing some mixing and matching for a more 'outerwear' outfit. We receive Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, plus a HUD with 5 choices each for top and panty as well as 3 metals for the closures on the panties. All the top textures are various florals, and there is a solid colored choice to go with each one for our thong style panty.

Next I changed into the charming Black.Flowers - Summer time Gift Set. If this looks familiar, it was a free gift at SL22B (which I blogged in early July) but that means if you missed out, you have another opportunity to claim this generous treat :) The bikini top and close fitting shorts are each provided in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with a HUD to select from 6 colors for each. That pattern on the top really caught my eye, as did the way the strings wrap around the waist. 

I'm wrapping up tonight's post with the most recent gift, Black.Flowers - GroupGift August. What a beauty! The strapless top comes straight across the neckline to accentuate the cleavage, and beneath the attached belt we've got a fun zigzag of stripes on our full short skirt. There are Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu sizes included, as well as a HUD (you knew I was about to say that, LOL) offering 5 colors for our look. Which one of these was your favorite?

Well, it was certainly an adventure of a weekend...two mice are now relocated to a nearby park instead of hanging out in my office here, and I'm still occasionally hearing nibbling and general noises that could be more of their friends. Sigh. One was caught in the early morning Saturday, and the other showed up in the second trap that evening. I spent a little of my therapy session talking about the dentist, and a lot of it babbling about mice I think :P  Sorry, Doc! (no, he doesn't read this, just generally putting that apology out into the universe) My plans are to get back on track this week with outings, with fingers crossed in spirit that it works out that way.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I visited TrendZy, where you can find several free gifts with no group necessary. If you do join their free group however, that will also give you access to their lucky boards, lucky chair, and midnight mania board :) I'm glad to have rediscovered this fun and generous store, as it's been a hot minute since I have invited all of you to visit with me. The lucky boards change every 5 minutes and there are several, so if you hang out for a little while, you could wind up with lots of terrific prizes.

My first look is two of four very similar outfits that are completely free gifts to all visitors with no group necessary. The TA Aimee Blue Dress and Shoes is on the left, with the Red version to the right. Each of these (plus the pink and white versions not shown) include our dress in eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, along with shoes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. I really like the cap sleeves on the dress, and the ruched skirt that lifts it slightly on the left thigh.

This very meaningful gift is our TA Cancer Awareness Dress and Boots, which the designer has made to honor the memory of loved ones in her life and I wear for the same reasons (hers and mine). The strapless dress has a sweetheart neckline trimmed in ruffles and adorned with an awareness ribbon on the waist. The boots are thigh high and have some fishnet at the top, very intriguing style! Each of these are provided in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. It is my fervent hope that someday we will no longer need these ribbons because we will be free from the scourge of cancer, but until then we will help friends and family to bravely fight ♥.

Next I changed into the lucky chair prize, which is called Angelina's Purplexed Beach Gown Attire. Its top and maxi skirt are each created for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies, in a gorgeous shade of purple :) I so enjoy halter style tops, and the mix of solid top and polka-dotted skirt is a really fun touch.

One of the lucky board prizes I really had my eye on is the lovely *TA* Girl Next Door Light Blue Dress, and well it appears that Lady Luck heard my wishes ;) The playful dress with swish of ruffles down the front comes in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies, while coordinating strappy heels fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink feet. Baby blue and white always reminds me of an outfit I had in the 90s, so it's making me oddly sentimental :) 

My final look this evening is also a lucky board prize, Angie's Rozy Dress Lover yellow checkered. It comes in a single size for the Maitreya mesh body (Lara 5.3), and has an intriguing image on the front over top of the softly checkered fabric. The almost detached sleeves give a flirty bare shoulder look that immediately captivated me as well. 

It was a slightly busier day than I expected, thanks to the housemate's insistence on making a difficult outing even long with 2 added stops after. I was irritated but got through somehow, so that is a positive takeaway from the day. Tomorrow I have my usual plans with a friend to play Hello Kitty together online, which might happen at my parents' if the heat is too obnoxious. I am looking forward to chatting with her :) The plans are still coming together for Friday's faux barbecue with my parents, which means not actually grilling outdoors but using an indoor grill and things like chicken hot dogs and turkey burgers.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we're still enjoying the Goode Girl Designs free gifts that I shared some of last night :) These treats are in 4 different vendors, two total sets of gifts among them, and all you have to do is arrow through and click the main photo when the gift you want delivered is shown there. We don't even need to join their free group to claim these. They are so impressively crafted, and how generous is this brand? I cannot possibly thank them enough, as they have really brought some new life to my wardrobe.

I started with the seductive (GGD) Dress 35-Gift, which is a delicate micro mini that ties loosely in the front while showing off plenty of skin. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included, along with a HUD that lets us customize the dress with 10 colors as well as a white version that can be tinted. We can also adjust the transparency for even more sex appeal :)

If you saw yesterday's post, this style should look very familiar...it is our (GGD) Dress 41-PBR-Brown gift, one of several fantastic colors available for free. You know I'm about to tell you about another awesome HUD, right? It offers 10 vibrant patterns, solid white to tint with the color button, and we can adjust the transparency as I did slightly on the right. I picked 80% which gave it a subtle sheerness without being completely see-through. Those blue flames just look amazing this way, not that they don't look just as hot when completely solid.

My final look of the night is an outfit I mentioned last night, my favorite type of prank because it is not mean and ends up making the recipient happy. The (GGD) Bikini 7-April Fool's Day gift starts out as a trick (think about the HUD and transparency...) but the notecard enclosed will explain it and help you very easily adjust things to look the way you want. This treat consists of the top, bottom, sarong, and heels, all of which fit Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The HUD has 5 patterns and a solid white option for each, and the white can be tinted with the color buttons on the HUD just as the transparency is a separate button for each piece. I was going to slip out of the sarong to show you the bottoms being a thong, but then realized oh yeah, just use the HUD and bring a little sheerness to that fabric :) We can really get creative with these gifts, so appreciated.

It was a dark and stormy night...okay so my area is having severe thunderstorms right now and it's shocking that I still have power to be honest. There's also a tornado watch and flood/flash flood warnings, so it's going to be chaotic out there for the next several hours. I did enjoy a visit with my parents for dinner, and we looked at lots more photographs which are generally bittersweet. It's hard seeing old faces of people no longer with us or no longer part of our lives, but I am also at a point where seeing them can make me smile a bit too. Tomorrow I am going out in the late afternoon, when the roads are safer again, and it is meant to be challenging but I also want to try to enjoy it.
