Tonight I will be showing you some prizes from the Chasin' The Gobbler 2 Hunt, a gridwide dollarbie hunt that will send you searching for cute little sculpted turkeys in each participating store. Just pay them each a linden and they will reward you with a fantastic prize, which sounds like a great deal to me :) I suggest opening their website so you can see some previews of the prizes and navigate from store to store, the landmarks are not in the prizes so you will need it. The hunt runs until the 26th of November, so you have over a week left to find the generous prizes.
Find the cute turkey at Waffles and you can claim this Fall Turkey Outfit, which is one layered piece with the look of 3, including a shirt that says Gobble Me Up! on a turkey tail. The outfit comes in standard fitmesh sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and just looks so comfy with the leaf pattern blouse and loose shorts. Handy hint for this one: when visiting the store, you will land in a reception area with new releases, but you will need to use the teleporter to head to the womens' section to locate your prize.
Our gift from Sweet Intoxication is their Autumn Outfit - Pumpkin Spice and it offers a t-shirt, jeans, and fringed boots. The shirt says "Pumpkin Spice is my Favorite Season" and is included in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. The jeans are in standard fitmesh sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. The boots come in sizes for classic avatars, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, with shoe bases for classic or mesh feet. This is a really fun gift, and I know a few people in RL who need this shirt too!
I kept the classic jeans on from the prior prize, and added the prize from Soju which is this lovely Chasin' The Gobbler Hunt Sweater. It is included in sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, and has a wonderful knit texture with several colors of autumn leaves sprinkled on it. It is going to be a go-to choice for me when I need something to wear while searching the grid for goodies to share with all of you.
Next we have the ~KCB~ Autumn Breeze dress which is just $1L when you find the turkey at Kat's Clothing Boutique. This belted beauty is provided in standard fitmesh sizes and Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique versions to suit many shapes and sizes. The pretty texture reminds me of a geode, which I think of as proof that Mother Nature is quite an artist.
Not all the prizes are strictly autumn themed, as you can see by this prize from Soul Designs called Lolita Salsa Micro Dress w/HUD. There are sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, and standard mesh sizes included, as well as a HUD with 6 colors to choose from, two of which are shown above. With a bare back and two side slits, this dress is designed to turn heads in any of its colors.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am honored to tell you about a charity event that is starting in just a few hours, called Rally To Rescue. There is a wide variety of items for sale at the event, all of which are 100% donations to a charity to support animals in need. This round, their chosen charity is Operation Delta Dogs which is registered as a No Kill animal shelter that trains dogs to become service dogs for Veterans. I truly admire the dedication of the people who are working so hard to assist those who fought for our country, and am grateful for all the designers who have donated items to raise money for this cause. Please look around (event dates October 1st - October 20th) and see what catches your eye, and while you are at the event you can also donate by clicking one of the kiosks you will find there. While I was out earlier, I saw a lot of happy dogs being walked by their loving humans, and one simple observation really got me thinking. In a Starbucks parking lot, the car next to us had 2 ladies that looked to be mother and daughter, and 2 little dogs that looked to be the same breed, maybe maltese or poodle mix. The daughter went inside, the mom stayed in the car with the puppies and kept them entertained :) She rolled her window down for a bit so one could put his face out into the nice breeze and bark at a passing person, and she gave them both lots of kisses while they waited impatiently for their other person. So it hit me, these two were so fortunate to have loving humans in their lives who clearly take excellent care of them and dote on them. These Rally To Rescue events are to help the dogs who aren't so fortunate, who still need to find their forever home or need our efforts to get them the training they need to assist a brave person who needs them. I have to be honest, I was a bit misty eyed from the thoughts swirling in my head, because I know how much joy a furry friend (or feathered or scaly, etc.) can bring, and how they all deserve love.

Tonight's post features a few prizes from the Around The Grid 5 Hunt, a dollarbie hunt that started last month and spans 80 days, so you still have until the end of September to find all the prizes. They are hidden inside yellow and orange striped hot air balloons, and you can either search the store and pay $1L when you find them or you can purchase the one on the sign at each store for $25L if you prefer not to hunt. They contain the same prize for each price, so it's entirely up to you. I also have a delightful set of lipsticks to show you, from the Appliqué event from LIVIA. I am wearing them in all of these photos, with a closer look and all the details as my finale.
There is something so appealing to me about mixing denim and lace, I think it brings out my inner 80s child ;) This prize is from Facepalm called +FCC+ Road Trip, and it includes the shorts and tunic each in Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and TMP sizes. I am considering layering a bra or even pasties beneath this to make sure it is family friendly, depending on where I decide to wear it. Just find the hot air balloon in the store for $1L and you can claim your lovely copy.
Next we have the prize from Soul Designs called Diana Top & Skirt w/HUD, and that HUD offers a terrific 5 textures for each piece, solids for the skirt and prints for the halter top. Each piece of clothing is included in standard, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes, so you should find one to fit your favorite shape/body quite easily. I have thought of so many ways to wear this, long Boho hairstyles or elegant braids, with chunky earrings and bracelets or a simple pair of hoops, sandals or stilettos. There are no wrong answers.
Floral prints make me happy, so this set from Sweet E's called Rose Knotted Tee and Booty Shorts are a surefire winner in my book. The top and shorts are each included in standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes, while the shirt includes Tonic Curvy and Tonic Fine versions as well. I love how the roses are delicately embroidered onto the shorts, framing the pockets just right.
Another casually cute prize from the hunt is found at Hopes Creations, whose hot air balloon holds this [HC] ATG5 Hunt Gift outfit for us. It includes system layers as well as a TMP applier and a combi-applier HUD with Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega options. The adorable kitten peeking at us made me giggle, she looks like she is hiding in our waistband or escaping from the bold belt. Speaking of which, how awesome is that detailed belt buckle? This outfit has plenty of great details that make it well worth the $1L if you find that balloon.
Time to see those lippies a bit closer! Tonight I have several fun prizes to show you from the Summer Diaries Hunt, a dollarbie gridwide hunt where you will be looking for an orange starfish (flat prim) which is for sale for $1L when you find it. Most of the prize previews are on their blog, and the first stop is the place to get your notecard with all the locations on it. Some are on the site but not all, so it is best to be prepared with the notecard. There are definitely some wonderful themed gifts hiding inside the starfish, so let's embrace summer and take a peek!
This first prize is from Soul Designs, called Lolita Micro Dress w/HUD. Such a breezy style, short and low cut in the front and back, and it look fantastic in all 6 colors.

Since mixed shades of blue do remind me of the ocean, I am very fond of blues for my bathing suit colors, so this and the previous gift are instant favorites.

I got a bit of a delayed start this evening on my blog post because I finally upgraded to Windows 10 (yeah, I'm behind the times LOL) and am still making minor adjustments to various settings to make it as much like what I was used to as possible. So far so good, although my photos were all taken before I did the upgrade so I haven't logged into SL yet. That'll be the real test! I'm pretty excited about it, the main purpose was that my Windows 7 capped out at 16GB of RAM and I have 18GB installed, so now I am using an extra 2 plus I will be upgrading them soon too. Last week I got a new video card, so this is quite a month for my tech. Xan has been an excellent source of knowledge for me, so many thanks to him for his patience and advice ♥. Hiya everyone! I've started working on another hunt, the Advanced or Casual Hunt, and as you can guess from the name, this hunt has two paths to choose from. The best part is that the paths are through the same exact stores, so you can find two prizes at each store if you're good enough at hunting :) The casual path is intended to be easier to find, the advanced for those hunters who are seeking a challenge, but you can find wonderful prizes from both paths. The hunt objects are blocks, yellow with a red C for casual and red with a yellow A for advanced. Their blog has links, preview photos (yay!!) and hints for each path so it's quite a valuable resource for hunting :) To show off some of the prizes, I headed to the lovely Star Journey sim and headed for the beach.
Here I am enjoying the Mishmash Fusion prize for the advanced path, this sexy mesh bikini top and skirt. There is a pair of mesh shorts for the guys, blue with a red belt, so they get to look hot on the beach too. They are stop #01 in the hunt, so right off the bat we get spoiled with this awesome find!
What's that I hear? A party starting on the beach? But I just changed into another bikini outfit...before I get changed again for the party, here is a glimpse of the casual prize from Euphoria Couture, #02 in the hunt, which comes with the earrings and sunglasses as well.
Well, I think this might be too dressy for a beach party, but it IS very elegant and deserves some showing off :) This is the advanced path prize from Euphoria Couture, and includes the dress, clutch, choker, and matching sandals for Slink high feet. Let's see if I can find something more suitable for a beach party...
This looks great for the beach party or for any occasion really, and what a clever twist on the high-low mullet style dress...this skirt is shorter in the back than the front! This is the advanced prize from Soul Designs #03, and the floral design is gorgeous.
I decided to try on one last outfit before leaving the beautiful beach, and oh what a treat this one is! The dress is the advanced prize from WICKED, and the jewelry is the casual prize from the same store, so if you find both cubes you'll get this amazing dress and accessories too :) So just think, that's only the first four stores I've shared and I've already enhanced my wardrobe beautifully.
Hair note of the night: Truth Hair (yes, my favorite hair store) has moved dozens of styles to their new Discount room, where you'll find individual color packs for $50L each! They are mostly sculpt/flexi styles, but there are a few mesh varieties as well. Just head for the back, or look on your mini map for the huge blob of dots, LOL. That store is pretty much always crowded, so you can well imagine a discount room is going to be even more so. My method is to stand in one place, cam around a lot, grab any demos I want, TP home to try them on, and go back when I know exactly what I want. The style I'm wearing in these photos is called Eden and those pretty flowers have a menu (touch the hair to bring it up) to change their color among several choices, or turn them off completely as I have done for a couple of the photos. You can see the back of it in the 4th photo, there are flowers in the back as well :)

Hiya everyone! The pun in the title was intentional, as I had thought about how to explain to someone after mentioning The Gingham Hunt what gingham is...my first answer was plaid, then I thought no, not quite...then I came up with picnic table cloths like napkins. That's actually closer, as it's usually a checked pattern with white and a bright color. Everyone gets to interpret it differently though, which is great because we get to see so many versions in the hunt prizes :) Even the hunt object has various colors and versions on it.
Let's start off with prize #01 by hunt organizer Fi's Creations. This cocktail dress is a mesh corsette, system layer panties, and a flexi skirt with an attached bow in the back. I haven't really been wearing flexi skirts lately, so it was a pleasant surprise that this one fit fairly well right away. The dark dramatic colors keep it from seeming too sweet, and a good choice for someone who wants a sophisticated color rather than the oh-so-common black.
Prize #03 from Euphoria Couture is this charming dress, complete with matching hat and Slink High shoes. I get a casual yet elegant feeling from it, perhaps it would be suited for a stroll through an elegant park or maybe a relaxing brunch.
Here we have a sweet mixture of gingham and polka dots, on the dress from prize #04, Soul Designs. It's a very simple style that provides a perfect canvas for the designs.

The sofa is part of prize #14 Willowinds, and not shown are the matching coffee table, wall art, and lamp. The sofa has a menu for single and couple poses, always a plus in my mind :)
Finally we have the prize from Sweet Tea Couture, a stunning plaid mini dress that is beautifully accentuated by the bright dragonflies on the skirt as well as the pretty green belt. Clearly I'm a big fan :)
All manicures in these photos are from two of the currently available group gifts from Nail Me! which is still free to join. My hair, well I indulged in some retail therapy when I realized how important it is to have an updo for photos and that I was wearing the same one all the time. So this is a style from Truth hair called Felicity, and comes with 4 different flower attachments for the back. Full price, I'm worth it and you are too :)

Hiya everyone! I have started Fi's Creations current gridwide hunt, The Eggshell Hunt, and interestingly enough I was literally walking on eggshells in a few stores as I followed the paths they placed to guide us. You're looking for a trio of eggshells, grouped together and in various colors, and you just click to receive your free prizes.
Might as well start off with prize #1, from Fi's Creations in their new location. This color is one that really speaks of spring, the pale new leaves of a plant after a long winter. The pattern is sweetly subtle, and I accessorized with the necklace from RedRose Jewellery, who are #6 in the hunt. The brown eggshells they used remind me of the eggs we get from the local farmer's market, they tend to be the same brown or a bit lighter or sometimes even greenish. Nature is fascinating!
Here we have prize #4 from Soul Designs, a lovely lace pattern that works for so many occasions. This one is more of a traditional eggshell color I suppose.
Another wonderful spring fashion tradition is pastels, and this dress has them, along with that sexy slit skirt. This is from Beautiful Dangerous who are #10 in the hunt.
I really love this outfit, wait till you hear all the goodies included...that is a dress, a separate sheer layer over top (so you can go without if you choose), the shoes for Slink high feet are included, and how cute is that bunny ear headband? That's included as well, and it made me think of Hello Kitty with the sweet bow on one ear. You can certainly wear this dress any time of year, and I'm sure I will be showing it off again and again. Hiya everyone! I'm still healing from this stomach bug (gastroenteritis to be overly specific LOL) but I'm here for a bit with some more 70s Hunt goodies :) Sometimes it's nice to have a distraction, something more enjoyable to focus on. So let's take a stroll down memory lane!
This feels to me like a modern take on the 70s theme, and I think that's wonderful too. Literal interpretations can be beautiful, and so can nontraditional ones. Anyway this lovely outfit is from Euphoria Couture which is #12 in the hunt, and they have included the top, pants, platform shoes for slink high feet, and the bracelets you see in the photo! Pretty and generous, can't go wrong with that.
This fun and flirty outfit is by #17, Country Couture, and is another outfit that's loaded with goodies...we have a system shirt (appliers were included), prim sleeves and bow (between breasts), mesh bellbottom pants, and tie-dye Slink high shoes. I've always liked pink and black together, and I was pleasantly surprised by how cute the pop of color on the shoes is with the outfit.
Here we have the prize from #21, Absinthe, Art & Angels. Lots of parts to this as well; the mesh dress (LOVE the heart cutout), matching boots, belt in 2 sizes, bangles, and a big floppy orange sun hat with flowers that I couldn't show you because by the time I'd adjusted it above my puffy hair, it looked like a giant UFO floating over my head, hehe. Very fun outfit!
I adore this dress from GET FROCKED, #25 in the hunt, a mesh beauty that I can definitely see wearing on a wide variety of occasions. I know the shoes don't match the dress, but all the other outfits came with shoes and I really wanted you to see them! They are the prize from WICKED and have a HUD to change the color of the bow, buckles, rope, and sole. They'd go well with anything in the orange or brown color families really. I'm also wearing both gifts from Redrose Jewellery, the Flower Power Crown and the unisex necklace. Let's get a closer look at those...
The necklace was huge when I tried it on, but I clicked for the resize menu and clicked minimum size, and the perfect results are what you see there. The crown, I love the delicate flowers and even the chain is quite pretty :) They are both very versatile and great additions to any wardrobe.
My nails in all the photos are also a prize from the hunt, from #13 Soul Designs, and the generous slink nail HUD has 10 different colors of a subtle floral pattern with white tips. Really pretty and I appreciate all the color choices!
Well I hope everyone is having a beautiful weekend and that your spring is off to a nice start :) In my area we got about 5 or 6 inches of snow for the first day of spring, Mother Nature has a strange sense of humor I suppose. At least it got a bit warmer so some has melted already, and they're good about plowing our streets quickly here too. Soon we'll be seeing robins, and the first flowers of spring, those are parts of the season I love! Hugs to all of you...
