KiB Designs Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got a sweet deal for you to check out, and it won't cost you any lindens or a group slot. I'm laughing to myself right now, thinking that I needed this at the DMV the other day ;) Our KiB Designs - Girl Power Top gift says "Allergic to Stupid" on the front, with a raised middle finger on the back, and the front is notched with a ring that reminds me of a piercing. This fantastic top is our gift called KiB Designs - Fleur Top. Plaids are an essential classic and these particular colors are right up my alley :) That ruffle on the neckline is giving such playful retro vibes, love it!  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is loaded with generous gifts found at the Belleza Event, which takes place right outside the main store of the Belleza brand of mesh bodies whose most recent are Gen X Classic and Gen X Curvy for gals, and I believe Jake for the gents. The designers taking part in the event all offer corresponding sizes, along with other bodies as well in most cases, so even if you are not the owner of one of the bods I've mentioned you can still find sales and gifts to suit you :) There is also an opportunity to win one of their bodies for free, so be sure to look closely at the signs at the event to find out how to enter. 

My first look comes from Emerald Couture, and is called EC Rosa Outfit Leopard. This charming gift includes sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. The panels are wonderfully coordinated with solid colors and that fun leopard print, and the shape of the dress flows beautifully.

This draped halter minidress has sex appeal from every angle, thanks to the plunging neckline and bare back. Shop and Hop Gilded

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings more Halloween Shop & Hop treats, all of which can be found in the Gilded region. That is one of 16 regions that are part of this shopping extravaganza, each home to 20 displays from some of SL's best and brightest designers :) Discounted merchandise abounds, as do generous gifts at every booth. I am always tickled pink to share these, and we have almost 2 weeks left of this round because it is open until the 5th of November. Lots of the gift cards or store credit offered at I'd guess at least a dozen stops will expire on that date too, so be sure to visit those mainstores and pick out your own treats with them. Meanwhile I'm still unpacking the amazing gifts! *NOTE* I feel like I should warn you that photo 5, my last one in the post, has a spider on my face so if you might be disturbed by that please scroll past that last look. I am not fond of spiders in RL but somehow in SL they don't seem to bother me, yet I know that some of you might not want to look at them in any form. 

For my first look tonight I slipped into the cozy neve gift - salem shop n hop 23 shirt. It has a layered appearance with solid tee over longer sleeves, in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies. The real magic (yep, pun intended lol) is found on the HUD, with 4 colors for the shirt and 4 striped textures we can choose to apply to the sleeves (which default to solid white whenever a main shirt color is clicked) to mix and match. There are also options to hide the long sleeve layer, or crop the shirt as I did on the right for a bit of peek-a-boob ;) The front reads "Salem Broom Co. the finest in enchanted transportation est. 1692" with some lovely swirls and a pentagram as part of the design. Recently an online friend mentioned to me that she was supposed to go to Salem this past weekend, but her plans were changed at the last minute so I am wondering hopefully if she will be able to reschedule that fascinating journey. I've never been to Massachusetts but it sounds like a wonderful place to visit.

KiB Designs certainly brings the wicked sex appeal with their The Devil in I =GIFT= FATPACK! It is a vivid halter dress with a choker type collar and nipple piercings worn on the outside, and of course a devilish tail wound around the waist. There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, with a HUD offering 5 texture choices and 3 metals for the hardware. The tail changes with the texture you select, all of which are black and/or red in various combinations. To really show off your inner demon, you could also add the headband with horns which is provided in versions with or without glow. 

Next we take a look at the Kaithleen's Tinka Dress - Smoke dress, a tantalizingly translucent strapless dress with diagonal hemline adorned with ruffles. We receive eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh body sizes, along with a HUD that lets us select from 20 colors for the trim. That trim would be the edging on the neckline and both solid and sheer ruffles down below, all tinted at once for a cohesive look. The sheerness of the main dress is a real showstopper, so you might want to add some BOM undies if this is too revealing for your intended destination.

Celestina's Weddings has a jaw-dropping gift for us called .:(CW):. Scarlett Star Gown - Black, but as you can see it is more than simply a gown :) That is provided in sizing for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, with sparkly earrings and handheld clutches in black (shown) and dove. The bouquet I'm holding on the right above is included too, with the holding pose you're seeing on that side. The daisies are a very romantic look that really pop against the contrast of the black gown, and that daring side slit of the gown is sure to make hearts race whenever you wear it.

My final look of the night is the spooky Kris Tattoo - HALLOWEEN TATTOO LeL EvoX - BOM #3 gift. It is an intricately detailed spider who seems to be a black widow based on the red marking, perched above my lips like a beauty mark ;) I'm impressed by the shadowing that gives a 3D effect to the legs, and I am intrigued by the beauty of the elegant but deadly creature depicted. Her location almost makes it look like I'm more likely to eat her than the other way around, not that I'm feeling peckish for arachnids...there are many traditional foods waiting for us at Shop & Hop as gifts instead :)

Hair note of the night - I was very fortunate to win a fatpack of the Lamb hairstyle released at Tres Chic this round called Pearl ♥. As you can see, there are bangs and a sweet bow in the back, with a few styling options and several colors for the bow. I entered on their flickr post and it seems lady luck was on my side, as I received the full pack with a message from the designer letting me know. I'm really glad I entered and am grateful to Lamb for offering a few of us such a thoughtful prize!

This weekend felt slow and fast at the same time somehow, like how is that even possible? LOL, despite that weirdness it was fine, mostly quiet, and feeling like typical autumn weather. I hope you all enjoyed yours and are having a pleasant day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

More Designer Showcase Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a part two of the Designer Showcase anniversary celebration, with more generous gifts for their free VIP group. Most of the displays have a gift waiting for us, and there are exclusive offers for sale from every designer. This round is open until the 25th of the month, and I will be back to do more shopping either during the weekend or shortly after :) As always I picked up demos while claiming all these thoughtful gifts, and now the hard part is making the final decisions. 

My first look this evening is the cozy Cattia Blouse gift from [WellMade]. It is really more than just a blouse, as it has a black blazer layered over a plum colored top. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. I paired it with the white pair from the Delizio jeans fatpack we can find for free on the marketplace, several colors in system/BOM layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega.

Next I changed into the Naiya Sweater&Scarf which is one of two gifts from KiB Designs. The sweater's brick red color is one of the many hues in the colorful scarf, and both pieces are provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. You can wear the sweater with or without the scarf, and they will pair well with any pants or leggings you wish.

This look is the lovely KiB Designs gift 2// Yasmin Outfit, a three piece ensemble that I am loving for the weekend :) The jacket, sweater, and skirt each come in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. The jacket could be worn without the sweater or skirt, but the sweater does not have upper arms and the sleeves are detached beneath the jacket. Black and purple are a fantastic combination, aren't they?

YoU By GeMyles is offering their Cinnamon Single Dress as our Designer Showcase group gift, and I am quite a fan! This mini dress has a pert ruffle at the hem and slender straps, with gorgeous artwork on the front. There are Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh body sizes included. I'm sure you also noticed my necklace, which is the YoUnique Couture Bonnie Ribbons & Rivet Collar gift. It has a resizer script built in, so just give it a click (or right click - touch in inventory which is often easier) to access that. It goes well with this dress, but of course will look great with anything you decide to accessorize with it. 

For my final look of the night, I slipped into the Juliet DS gift from Ghee. This intriguing bodysuit is solid deep midnight blue, with a multicolored butterfly (moth?) on the front. Its long sleeves cover the back of our palms and hook around the thumb, a very handy detail that I love in RL too. This gift fits Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. I could easily envision wearing this under a skirt or pair of pants with a slightly loose fitting waistband, preferably a low waisted option so as not to hide the colorful image on the front. 

Are you ready for the weekend? I'm delighted to be going to my usual Saturday morning haunt, the farmers market that was unexpectedly closed last week. One of the vendors is serving BBQ pulled pork, brisket, and chicken, as well as her vegan chili that is a big hit with carnivores too. I'll be having the pulled chicken, and getting lots of other tasty goodies while I'm there. I also had a bit of good fortune earlier, as I won a $10 gift code for an indie nail polish sale called Polish Pickup. Of course I spent a little more than that, LOL, but I like supporting small businesses and trying to make my RL nails look halfway decent.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we are taking a look at several generous group gifts from KiB Designs, whose group is free to join. There are a couple of goodies for men too, so I suggest bringing your favorite male avatar-wearing folks too :) There are also a couple more Escape The Ordinary 3 Hunt prizes I wanted to share, just $3L each and we are in the final week of that hunt so time is of the essence. I think you'll see they are worth hurrying for! As for my post title, it matches the weather and the song actually came on the 70s Music Choice station I have on, so I took that as fate telling me the name ;)

My first look of the evening is the KiB Designs - Mandala Dress GROUP GIFT, a comfy looking shirtdress in two versions. Next I changed into the KiB Designs - Cute Shirt GG March 2018, another thoughtful gift with 2 versions. The grey and pink tops are each included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing, and both have a contrasting colored bow on the back to loosely hold it together. The grey shirt's bow is pink, so they feature each other's color as an accent :)

In the main image I'm wearing the "stars and moon" freckled across my cheeks, and the pink lipstick. Then the insets are the gold eyeliner and black lipstick. There is also a face blush and a tintable eyeliner included, so there is a terrific variety to this prize. I've only had my new head for a few days so I'm still getting used to it, but this reinforces how important it was for me to purchase one :)

It was a quiet, sweltering hot weekend here, and I think the heatwave is only going to get better midweek because of thunderstorms so it will be a rough one. There are always new and interesting places to keep me occupied visiting in SL though, so I will certainly try to make the best of things. More On9 Goodies

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am still celebrating the On9 event's birthday, with some more generous gifts you can find there with no group tag necessary. There is a wide range of designers there, most of whom have placed a gift out for all visitors. The event is open until the 30th of September, so you have plenty of time to claim your gifts and return after trying on demos or just trying to decide on a few fun purchases. You deserve to treat yourself too!

I start this evening in a duo of dresses from KiB Designs called Laia Dress Beige. There are two versions as you can see, with different bust ruffles, each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. 

I also appreciate the TO.KISKI gift called Loren Jumpsuit - Glitter Pink, a strapless one-piece outfit in a mauve pink with sequined top. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. 

La Bella Boutique has a gift for us too, their cheerful {LBB} Mariposa Outfit. The tank top with tiny laced cutout in the front and the butterfly wing skirt each come in sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. This beautiful tattoo is our gift from [ Jhon Jones ] called Flower Life Tattoo. It has a beautiful pink lotus above writing that I confess I do not understand, so if anyone would like to enlighten me and translate that, please do :) The tattoo comes in appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega, each with your choice of 40%, 60%, or 90% opacity so you can wear it a little darker or lighter. I went with the 90% to ensure it would be as photogenic as possible.

My final look this evening is a close view of the nails I am enjoying tonight, which are the gift from :::WILD::: Makeup Studio, their Bento Nails which come in Maitreya and Slink versions. Each are mesh attachments, so you will want to hide the nails with your hand's HUD and then right click-add the correct version. They are an elegant stiletto shape, with beautiful flowers on a bright pink background. 

I used to be such a sound sleeper, so it is odd to me that now I can be woken up by something as simple as an ant crawling on my hand (*shudder*) but that happened earlier. Not my favorite way to wake up :P There is a window above my bed and I guess there must be a crack near it that he used to get in, because the window was definitely closed. Otherwise it was a decent day, and I am preparing for several busy days ahead with appointments and places to go. Designer Showcase Anniversary Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more gifts to share from the Designer Showcase 6th anniversary round. All you need to do is join their free VIP group and wear your tag to claim gifts from just about every designer participating. I enjoy visiting to see what exclusive offers are there, in addition to the generous gifts this round. I also had fun with a very short hairstyle which is one of the two styles in this month's Truth Hair VIP gift.

The first thing I usually wind up doing after a big change to my hair (and I suspect most of us do) is head for a mirror and inspect it from various angles. So I am in the bathroom of my skybox, feeling the lightness and the crisp ends. I decided to try on the very pretty gift from zanze, their [ZE] Eirwen Sweater in Red which comes in sizes for Slink, Hourglass, and Maitreya. I am also holding the lovely purse from Ghee, their Sequined Purse which looks to be an exclusive for the event. With shades of black and white, it will be a versatile addition to your wardrobe.

Then I decided to go even more casual, the comfy cozy 1 Hundred Pullover Set in Grey. This amused me because one of the HUDs (multiple tabs with several appliers on each, chances are your mesh parts are represented) has NP in the name and I thought it stood for no pockets...turned out to be no panties :) That version is on the right, the one with panties on the left, on both sides I am also wearing the sculpted hood which has a resize script built in. Besides the two HUDs, there are system layers for the classic avatar lovers as well. I am wearing one of my favorite marketplace gifts with these shirts by the way, the Delizio Jeans which come in several colors and with HUDs for Maitreya and Omega along with their system layers. 

Sometimes we need something pretty to wear beneath our new outfits, or if you are staying home with someone special, instead of ;) This thought led me to the beautiful Princess Lingerie #02 which is our gift from Danemark Z, in system layers as well as an Omega applier. The peachy pink color is stunning, and the little details like the soft lace and tiny bows are especially nice. I also decided to try on the remarkable gift from Moondance Boutique, their Nancy Earrings and Necklace. These beauties can be adjusted to match any outfit, just by clicking either earring or the necklace to bring up their very handy menu which offers 17 colors for each set of gems (inner and outer in this case, you can see that better in the inset) and 8 metal options including less traditional choices like crimson. Endless possibilities, and a resize menu too! 

Another jazzy dress and even more jewelry, here I have tried on the KiB Creations gift of Serenity Lace Dress Teal, in a gorgeous color and texture. It is included in 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Slink Physique, and Slink Hourglass sizes. The amazing jewelry set you see here is one of two gifts from J&W Jewelers, called Journey's Collection Amethyst. It includes the necklace, earrings, bracelet, and a ring for the right hand, each with resize scripts. The other gift is a different style altogether and in pink, well worth checking out.

It looks like I am finally ready to go, in our gift from Evolve Industries called Merry Dress which comes in small, medium, and large mesh sizes. The colors are a wonderful match for the present from LEGENDAIRE called Aishas Gift, consisting of the shoes for Slink high and the matching clutch you see here in 2 versions with different hold poses. I also have included a closer look at my nails, yet another group gift for the Designer Showcase VIP group. This is from BAXE and called My Heart, a HUD for Slink nails with 4 bold designs in red and gold. 

Quick skin note: I am enjoying the current group gift from 7 Deadly s{K}ins called Madelief, in a new skin tone named Cotton Candy. It included several appliers including Omega, which suits my Slink body/hands/feet quite well. Since I am playing with a blonde shade for my hair, I thought the lighter skin tone was a natural match.

Running late tonight, stayed at a visit to my family longer than I expected and it threw my timing off this evening I'm afraid. It was worth it, I had a very nice time :) I hope this weekend holds wonders for each of you, magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
