Exquisitely Twisted

Hiya everyone! Tonight we will be exploring more Fall 2017 Twisted Hunt prizes, bringing beauty to our homes and fingertips as well as our wardrobes. The Twisted Hunt is a free gridwide hunt that takes place twice a year, considered the hardest hunt in SL, and this round's theme is Victorian Gothic with a color of Burgundy Wine. The gently spinning cubes are that color, and many of the prizes feature it as well, some even with the same exact texture as the cube. There are plenty of treats from side hunts to discover as well, and many prizes contain male and female versions or are unisex for all to appreciate. That includes some terrific home furnishings, even skyboxes, so plenty of ways to enjoy the theme.

Sinfully Seddy has this beautiful Bitter Romance Gown and Parasol hiding in their cube for the ladies, and a suit and top hat for the gentlemen. The gown comes in sizes for Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, TMP, and a standard avatar version, while the parasol has a hold pose and a resize script built in. I love the extra touches of the purple bodice with black lace overlay. I found that the prize from Fallen Arms: Rough goes very well with this look, it is the Craftian Monocle which has a purplish tinted lens and some playful tentacles holding it in place. 

Our next stop is ~KRAKT~ where you will find this Victoria Female Gift (as well as a male gift) hiding in their cube. The dress comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the shrug style jacket is in 4 fitmesh sizes (XS, S, M, L). Please excuse the transparency issue my new hair is causing, the jacket is solid across the shoulders and has that lovely black bow you see in the front. On the right you can see that the dress is striking without the jacket as well.

#bye has an alluring gift waiting for us, their Fall 2017 Twisted Hunt gown. It comes in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version, along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. The version for Maitreya is named differently but I checked and it is the same gorgeous dress. I paired it with the hunt gift from Syren's Song, their Blood Stone Collar, a ruby or garnet-like heart held in place by black leather. It will be an ideal accessory for anything you decide to wear it with.

This photo will need to be clicked to see it full size, to fully appreciate the decor from Dreamscapes Art Gallery. This is their *Victoria* Fireplace & Picture, 4 pieces in all, consisting of the fireplace with a Land Impact of 3 whose fire can be clicked to turn on or off, picture with LI of 1, and two sconces with a LI of 2 each for a total of 8 LI. The set is rezzed out at once, if you are in edit mode (just right click anything and then choose edit from the pie menu, minimize the edit window and drag out your items from inventory) then you can move them as one intact piece to position them. Since they are copyable, you can rez out multiple sets and fill your entire home if you so choose.

One last look for the evening, this is our prize from Inevitable Madness called Twisted Victorian Nails. There are appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and Vista, each offering 4 designs: silhouettes of a wolf, owl, or raven, and the ombre of black to burgundy to nearly white. Mix and match or choose your favorite of the moment, your nails will thank you for adorning them so richly.

Hair note of the night: Truth Hair has released their September VIP group gift, and it is so much fun! The name is Athena and there is a full set of color HUDs as with all the VIP gifts, I chose a redhead selection here. The stylist HUD lets you have both sides down and curly, or one pulled back into a braid, or even the full side swept back with that pretty plait. There are 3 wisps of bangs that can be turned on individually or all turned off at once, so there is quite a lot of variety happening in this exuberant hairdo.

I am a little slow tonight as I am not feeling my best and seem very easily distracted, so I will simply wrap this up with a wish for a wonderful day/evening and magical magpie hugs to each of you!!

Sunday Sinners Hunt Gluttony Prizes

Hiya everyone! I have a few more treats to share from The Sinners Hunt Gluttony organized by The Sinister Goth. I hope you enjoy this fun little variety, and I hope you get a chance to explore this hunt and pick up these terrific prizes.

My first look highlights one of three prizes hidden at Venomous Rage Designs, their VRD Little Black Dress. This comes in several mesh sizes including Fitted, Hourglass, and Physique. The delightful Steampunk Hat Big Dream is one of 8 prizes to be found at PIXEL BOX Designs, mostly hats but another surprise or two as well. This hat has a built in resize script, and I love the chic little veil.

There are plenty of hunt prizes that are not clothing, such as this Proper Porters Chair~Gluttony by Adorably Strange Wears. This has an impressive 20 different sit poses in it, and who can resist that pattern of fun sugary treats? Our feet have not been neglected in this hunt either, as you can see on the right...the top and middle (and in the view in the chair) I am wearing the prize from Klutzy Kinkyz. They have provided both black and red versions as shown, in Slink High, Maitreya, and Belleza sizes for each. The bottom right shows the gift from Sinfully Seddy, their Sweet Temptations Caged Platforms for Slink High. I love that deep shade of purple!

Next we have some glimpses of the Avian Shadows prize from Stix, who have provided system layers and Omega appliers in 5 fanciful designs. From top to bottom we have Flamingo, Nightingale, and Sienna Goddess, and not shown are Black Raven and Hummingbird. This is also a great time to mention my beautiful eyes from Inkheart, their newest release Juno Eyes. I am wearing the Honey in size L, they are in system layers and mesh versions in 4 sizes each. I am thrilled and honored to have recently joined their blogging team :)

In my final look of the night, I had fun showing off two jewelry prizes from the hunt. That lovely ring is the TSH Ring Gift from Six Feet Under. The double band in the front merges to a solid band in the back, and the bright red of the crystal is very eye catching. My playful necklace is the prize from Sour Pickles, their Carnival Treats Necklace - Pretzel. It is unisex and has a resize script built in. The hippie chick part of my soul always smiles at these long pendants, it is a preference of mine in RL too actually.

My thoughts tonight are heavy from the tragedy in Orlando, FL and the dozens killed and injured in our worst mass shooting. It is heartbreaking, and I am trying to focus on any small glimmers of hope like the fact that the lines were several blocks long to donate the much-needed blood to help the victims, which shows willingness to step up when needed. I'm still sending out comforting magical magpie hugs to everyone tonight, as always, since we need more love in this world!!

Celebrate Your Friday with Hunt Prizes

Hiya everyone! I am clearly excited about the upcoming weekend, and about showing you another group of prizes from the HYIS 14 (Hunt for Your Inner Slut 14), the free gridwide hunt which I have almost completed :) 70 stores means dozens of prizes to be found in hidden golden cocks, which also means I'm seeing more male genitalia each day lately than the average urologist, LOL. That isn't a complaint, just a cheeky reminder that it is an adult themed hunt. I think I had the weekend on my mind when I chose what to share with you tonight...perhaps a weekend spent with a special someone.

First we have a daring and versatile lingerie set from Moonlitecat Creations (#011), called Vines Lingerie Set. I am wearing system layers but there are Omega appliers included too, and the set consists of the bra on left and bra with garter belt and bows on the right, panties (left) and panties with garter belt and bows (right), and stockings with or without bows. I used the Omega appliers on my Slink feet, and speaking of my feet, I am wearing another fun prize on them. My shoes are prize #040 from Sinfully Seddy, their HYIS Exclusive Hump Like Bunnies Heels. I couldn't resist showing you a closer look at the bunnies decorating the shoes. They are certainly living up to the name of the shoes, in eye-popping hot pink.

I left the panties on from the previous gift to show you this next one, our generous prize #054 from Fabulash. Their Spring Tartan Lingerie Camisole is provided in many mesh sizes such as standard, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP. The prize also includes the jewelry shown, the spring beaded earrings, bracelet, and barefoot sandals for Slink high. I love the colors and will probably wear the jewelry with other things to jazz up more neutral outfits.

#006 Blink2Wink is offering a stunning gift in one of my favorite colors, their HFYIS 14 Giftie bodysuit. It is included in system layers and Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Physique/Wowmeh appliers. I did decide to wear a cute pair of pasties I'd found for free on the marketplace and blogged before, I censor myself so nobody else can I guess but that certainly doesn't mean you have to. The zipper is a striking touch, and so is the neck band above the low scooped neckline.

For my last look of the night, I am enjoying prize #023 from Distinction, their Sex Flowers Romper. Before I turned around, I didn't know why the sex part of the name...but wow, look at all those pretty straps! And my first gratuitous bum shot in months, there's a fun extra touch ;) This cute lace-adorned romper is provided in both system layers and an Omega applier so you can show off a wide variety of mesh bodies in addition to the classic system body.

More Twisted Qi

Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features some more gifts from the Twisted Hunt, and its intriguing theme of Qi. If you are persistent enough, you can tackle this extremely challenging hunt and find some great prizes! It has the well-earned reputation as the hardest hunt in all of SL, so grab something caffeinated (not booze, you need a clear head!) and seek out some spinning cubes.

The cube at store #047, Facepalm, holds this sexy outfit called Amita. It includes the mesh skirt in standard sizes, and a system layer top with appliers for Maitreya, Omega, TMP, and the Slink one that I used for the ends of the sleeves (glove layer for the Slink hands) very effectively. Even those cute strappy shoes are included, suitable for Slink high feet.

Here we have an alluring little number from ..elation.. who are #027 in the hunt. This is their Mesh Spikey Dress in Stars n' Stripes, shown without the spikes and then with each of the 3 varieties of spikes: flat, long, and mixed. The dress and the spike add-ons each come in standard mesh sizes, for a perfect fit.

I was able to show you two different prizes here, well it was helpful if I wanted my top and bottom covered ;) The vest and tube top are our prize from Sinfully Seddy (#057) and is one mesh piece called Ch'ing Ch'ang Black Tweed Vest and Tube. Standard sizes are included. The pants are from Ambient Fashion, who are #72 in the hunt (listed as Horr Menswear) and are called Twisted Stretto Pants. They're a lovely deep shade of purple and very detailed, standard mesh sizes included.

Final goodie for the night is this Chi Shrug from :{MV}: who are #003 in the hunt. This is a mesh tunic type top in standard sizes, and I love the off-the-shoulder styling as well as the flared sleeves, and let's not forget that intriguing pointed hemline. It is a bit short for a dress for my everyday wear, so I would team it with something simple like skinny jeans or leggings, maybe bright tights for a pop of color. There are no wrong answers :)

My day was sidetracked by a broken heater, as soon as it started to get chilly around here the boiler went and broke down...not bad during the day when it stayed close to 70, but getting down to the mid-40s at night means we really need the heat. Plus I do occasionally find that hot water is useful, hehe. It was fixed pretty promptly though, so I am feeling lucky and grateful. I do wish I had a nice big dog to snuggle with like the huge Leonberger I saw yesterday, or his friend the Bernese, what gorgeous creatures they both were! I'm a bit jealous of all their warm fur.
