Hiya everyone! I was very excited to hear about the Out Of The Box Hunt taking place on the ScratchN Post sim, where I occasionally go to visit the adorable KittyCatS that roam around the area, some for sale and some just enjoying the atmosphere there. For this hunt, you are searching for 16 open cardboard boxes (I found 15) and they aren't too trickily hidden, just stroll around and peek around. The hardest one to notice was inside a shop and up in a corner by a ceiling, but most are ground level and none are tiny or anything difficult. Let's have a peek at just some of the awesome free prizes!
I am enamored with this first outfit, which is prize #04 from WinTeRwooD Designs. It's called Emmi and comes in several fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and the texturing is wonderful. It has the appearance of two pieces but is instead a single mesh piece, quite easy to wear. I added the delightful gift found in prize #06 from Heartsdale Jewellery, Kitty Kitty Burning Bright for HER (Him is also included) which consists of the choker, ring, and bracelet you see here. Each piece has a resize script, and there is something so charming about the cat crafted in silver on each piece.
Another great find if you would like more jewelry is this Knight Necklace from Silent Whispers, found in box #07. This dark sword and scabbard with matching black cord has a resize script built in, which helps make it suitable for unisex wear. You can also get a closer look at the fun knit texture of that Emmi outfit :)
Perhaps you are in less of a pastel mood and would like more of a dark dramatic outfit, look no further than [RUBY] Minina Set in Black. This is found in prize #15 and includes standard sizes plus Belleza, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions, and is a single mesh piece for a convenient fit. If you noticed my thigh is sporting some fresh ink, that is prize #05 from Flippant and called Meow Tattoo. This is provided in system layers along with an Omega applier, versatile and quite striking in its simplicity.
This photo is rather wide so please be sure to give it a click, to see it in its full detail, and you will be able to appreciate a furniture prize and a gift of shoes! The sofa is prize #02 from Dekute Dekore, their [Mesh] Pet Bed Side Tables & Sofa, and there is a second pet bed on the other side of the sofa as well. This set has a lot of great features, such as single poses for male or female as well as cuddle poses, and a huge menu to change the colors so you can match your decor or change for moods/seasons. Don't you wish RL furniture could be that versatile? :) I do love a great pair of shoes, and Baby Monkey is a perennial favorite of mine, so I was very excited to see that they are a sponsor of the hunt and are offering prize #03 BM Lucie Pumps Fall. These beauties have Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high versions included along with a HUD for 10 color options. One last look of the evening, this prize really made me smile so I am pleased to share it with all of you. Paprika Designs has some adorable pets for us in their box (#14) called Harpo Raccoon Pet, and there are actually 3 cuties packed in there waiting to play with you. The animated one is dancing on my head (its default location) and you can also see the shoulder one, while the third one is for your head but as you can see, my head is already occupied. We have wild raccoons in my neighborhood and I'm always fascinated to see them, which makes these little guys extra special to me.

Hiya everyone! Tonight is another installment of prizes from the Twisted Hunt Fall 2016, the free gridwide hunt considered and billed as the hardest hunt in SL. As you can see, it is definitely worth the effort :) I am still working my way through the hunt, slowly but surely, and enjoying all the extras such as side hunts. As I have mentioned in prior posts, the theme is Divination and the cube color is steel blue, both making appearances in most of the hunt prizes.
My first look is the exotic Twisted Diviner Gift F from ~KRAKT~ and you can see how the design of the cubes are making several appearances here. The prize consists of the top (and matching panties hiding beneath the skirt) in system layers and an Omega HUD, while the skirt and shawl each come in plenty of mesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. I love the details on the back and front, those draped jewels are a wonderful touch.
I couldn't resist sharing the prize from Dekute Dekore, #44 in the hunt path, called Mesh Divination Table. You will receive two versions, one whose menu is owner only, and when you sit in the chair with the cube-patterned blanket draped over it you get a menu for 3 poses: bored, waiting, and divine which you see above. The other chair's pose options are wait, listen, and cry, and the table has a few clickable items built in. The candle flame turns off and on with a touch, and the dowsing board in the center will emote answers (seems like yes or no questions from what I saw) when you click it.
I kept the previous skirt on to show you another shirt and a great choker too. The top is prize #20 from Horr Menswear, whose ladies' line is called AMBI and this is their Saint Lucie Top. It is included in many mesh sizes: standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, and Maitreya. The intriguing necklace I am enjoying is from Atomic Faery (#47) called I Ching Trigram Choker, and it includes a HUD with 8 trigram designs in 4 colors each so 32 total choices. The vendor ad for this item says that trigrams are the building blocks for i ching.
Get Frocked is #54 in the hunt, and their gift for us is a Twisted Hunt Dress & Jacket in standard mesh sizes plus Maitreya and Slink versions. The style is ideal for those early autumn evenings where the heat of the day is just evaporating to a breezy night.
My last look is a closer view of the beautiful nails I have been enjoying tonight, courtesy of Rad Designs who are #64 in our hunt path. The THF 16 HUD is compatible with Slink, Omega, and Maitreya, and offers 6 bluesy designs to choose from. Rad Designs has combined with Mishmash Fusion for a side hunt, so expect to see some looks from that soon :)

Hiya everyone! As the weekend comes to a close, I have more prizes to share from the Twisted Hunt. This round seems particularly tricky to me, so be prepared for a challenge :) It's good to know that the prizes are worth the effort though, isn't it? I have a few more goodies to show you all tonight, main prizes and mini hunts, so enjoy!
First up is this very sexy Grecian Camisk from #31 Arcadia. Find the cube and you'll receive this beauty in standard mesh sizes, with its lovely white trim and gold Greek key design. It looks amazing from the back too, as you can see.
When you find the cube at #39 Enchantment!, you can claim your copy of their Nemaine dress in our stunning theme colors. This is another gift with that Greek key design adorning it, and another with a terrific rear view. I really enjoy the unique style with the hint of a collar and that fun train.
This prize from Dekute Dekore is actually one of their mini hunt gifts, as they have a main gift of decor and extras for males and females. Their gift for the gals is this toga (same mesh as one I showed yesterday) that drapes over one shoulder and around the hips very seductively. They have included a bra in system layers, almost a bandeau style, that matches the toga wonderfully. This is stop #41 in the hunt path.
My last prize for the night is this alluring Open Back Dress from ..elation.. called Touch of Gold. It is provided in many mesh sizes including 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. Well, the peepers outside are singing their little froggie hearts out, and I am about to prepare for the week ahead by making sure I've got all my plans laid out for both RL and SL. Hiya everyone! I have a few more prizes from the Fun in the Sun Hunt to share with you, and the more time I spent hunting around those sims full of adorable KittyCatS the more I want one :) They are not free however, like our hunt prizes, which I am quite eager to show you. First I will simply repeat my advice from yesterday, which is to read the blog for the best way to hunt. The HUD at the landing zones of all the sims is a big help so you know which sim each prize is on.
Before showing off some bathing suits again, I have a very pretty dress to show you that is found in Sunglasses #24. This gift from DI is a fatpack of colors, from left to right I am wearing Passion, Mercury, and Cobalt but you will also find Bronze, Emerald, Hot Pink, Onyx, Passion (red), Snow, and Violet in each standard mesh size. I love the cutout shoulders, and those sexy rivets and straps that are part of the intricate texture.
Here we have both gifts found in Sunglasses #18 and the necklace from Beach ball #31. The necklace is from Grumble and is simply called Pearls with Butterfly. As for the other gifts, they are both by [RUBY] as are many of what I am featuring tonight...the bikini is called Hot in the Sun and comes in red, purple, and teal with system layers plus a cute bow for the back, and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink and TMP. The comfy Mesh Multi-Pose Beach Towels come in teal (shown) and red, and contain animations for female, male, couples, male-male and girl-girl. Variety is the spice of Second Life!
I tried on the teal color of the above bikini (oh, did I mention it's a thong?) to show you this fun [Mesh] Sandy Beach Towel Set from Dekute Dekore, which you will find in Ice Cream #20. There are male and female animations built in, and it's only 1 LI so if prim count matters to you too, this is an even more valuable find. I like the "read" pose that I'm showing, as it temp-rezzes out a book for you to enjoy.
Into the pool for this photo, we have the red thong from the bikini of the previous photos along with the Lacey Summer Top by [RUBY] found in Ice Cream #26. The inner tube is another treat from [RUBY] called Beach Floating Ring, and it comes in blue (shown, red, or teal. It is the other prize found in Ice Cream #26. The inner tubes have 2 female poses and 2 male poses to suit everyone.
Here we have a cute outfit from Sweet E's, their red shirt and blue jean capri found in Beach ball #28. This includes the system layers shown, plus appliers for Omega, TMP and Eve. The jewelry is from ~TMD~ and found inside Sunglasses #30, includes the necklace, earrings, ring and even the sunglasses (so yes, you find sunglasses inside a sunglasses hunt object!). Now that cute bag on my shoulder, with built-in pose, is from je suis...and is called brillante MESH bag, and has such bright cheery colors. This can be found in Ice Cream #23.
Nail note of the night: since I wanted a wide variety of colors, I went with a hunt gift I'd previously blogged here from La Boheme. This is their Body Art Hunt prize so you only have a week left to grab it if you haven't already, I highly recommend it :) I went with the silver instead of the gold I'd shown before, no special reason.
The weekend is finally here, yay! For me that mostly means farmers' markets and relaxing, but whatever it means to you I hope all of you enjoy yourselves. Magical magpie hugs to each of you!!
