FabFree Enchanted Forest Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have begun to explore the FabFree Enchanted Forest Hunt, a terrific gridwide hunt with prizes from $0L - $5L hiding in small rainbow fairy images. Many stores have multiple prizes, and the FabFree website has preview images as well as hints and the landmarks. You can also pick up a free HUD that helps you teleport quickly and shows the prize photos, so there are multiple ways to enjoy this adventure. We are early on in the hunt's timeframe, as it runs until the 22nd of July, so take your time and treat yourself to some affordable prizes.

This incredible look is comprised of all 5 prizes from {Melt}, all of which are free. We start with the {Melt} Enchanted Rose Gown which is a single piece with the appearance of two, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. I am also wearing the {Melt} Enchanted Rose Armbands, matching Enchanted Rose Necklace, Enchanted Rose Tiara, and Enchanted Rose for hand Bento. The last one is the glowing rose bloom in my left hand, with a built in holding pose as the rose gently floats up and down. You can combine them all as I have, or just the ones that suit your mood or the occasion. I really enjoyed exploring the grounds outside the store to locate all these great gifts!

Next I found this striking *P* Enchanted Forest Mesh Dress (TEFH GIFT) at Phoebe, for absolutely free. The dress has a handkerchief hemline and a sheer separate layer so you can choose your look by wearing both or just the main dress. Each are provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes. The deep green shade is a perfect choice for the hunt's theme, and those swirls add a magical touch.

Ruxy has 5 fantastic prizes in this hunt which are $1L apiece, including the AnnaBella Rose I am wearing here. The bright pink and teal colors complement each other so nicely, and the golden trim especially the bold neckline are so eye-catching! The prize includes Legacy and Maitreya mesh body sizes. 

Another irresistible $1L gift from Ruxy is their Xenia green, which is crafted to fit the Maitreya mesh body and includes a HUD offering 3 metal choices and 7 gem colors each for the small gems and the large tear shaped ones. I feel like I should be dancing beneath a canopy of trees in the moonlight in this mystical look!

For my final look of the evening, I changed into the ! Glitterati ! - FabFree Enchanted Forest Hunt dress which is a charming stapless mini with floral embroidery on the bodice and lacy overlay on the skirt. Our prize includes standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body sizing. The style makes me think of summer, but the color combination feels like it will work for any time of year.

We are still in the midst of a heat wave here, but not even as bad as the western part of the country, so I am not complaining but just explaining my quiet day at home beneath a ceiling fan :) Next week will be slightly cooler for a few days, so that will be a relief for sure. 13Event Feels Lucky

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some more group gifts from the -13Event- to show you, ranging from casual to downright sexy. There are over 50 total gifts for the free group, as nearly every participating designer is helping them celebrate the first round of this new event. Look for a gift box at each display, both inside and outside the main building along both sides of the walkway to the building. There is even a demo area to the right when you land and are facing the building, and I saw a few gifts over there as well. With a nice mix of familiar creators and ones who are new to me, I am certainly excited to see more of this event in the future!

My first look of the evening is a fun sporty outfit from .:Beyond:. called Aliseda - Black. Its layered tank top and shapely pants are each provided in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite body sizing, with a HUD that offers 10 colors each for the top layer (10 solid and 10 fishnet), strip1, strip2, and strip3. Click a few to see what area reacts to each column of buttons. The waistband is one of the strips, the two down the side of both legs are another, and the back really resembles a heart which is a playful touch.

When it's time to get dressed up, you might want to slip into the **JANE LYNCH PINK FASHION STYLE COMPLET OUTFIT** gift from Brii Underground. It is such a cheery bold color, and I love having shoes to match a dress that might otherwise be tricky to find a close pairing. Both the dress and heels come in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies/feet. 

If your upcoming plans involve a beach or pool, the :::VIRGINIA::: BIKINI FLOWERS gift is the perfect choice to wear. The top and bottom each come in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. There are several dainty bows to hold things in place and add decoration. You probably noticed some new ink on my back, well that would be our [t2p] BabyGirl Deep back tattoo from tease2please. It is a system/BOM layer and says "Baby Girl" in the midst of beautiful swirls all in dark ink. The location is just high enough to show over the waistband of many jeans or pants, so you can display it if you wish.

Speaking of panties, my final look of the evening is a gorgeous bra and panties set from SLC. Their Gift June 2021 Lingerie BOM Lussia has system/BOM layers that are compatible with any BOM mesh bodies and easy to wear on classic avatars too. The texturing is exquisite, with satiny bows and lace trim on our string bikini panties and delicately crafted bra. I always appreciate having such beautiful lingerie to wear beneath my favorite outerwear.

13Event Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are going to see just how lucky the number 13 can be as we visit the -13Event- and its first ever round. There is a free group we can join that will let us claim over 50 gifts (one from just about every participating designer) found in giftboxes in front of each display. There are some areas to check where we land, then many inside the main building which is directly ahead past the outdoor displays. So many talented designers here, and of course that means quality merchandise to brighten your look or living space. This round ends on the 3rd of July so you will need to stop by this week. 

For my first look tonight, I chose the [GIULIADESIGN] -ADELE-RED gift. It consists of the top, mini skirt, and thigh high boots each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with the cross necklace included too. The necklace has a resize script built in, so it can be adjusted as needed. This outfit looks flirty from every angle!

Next we have the playful ::F:: Nicky Bodysuit denim Gray which is our group gift from FOR YOU. It comes in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. I like the side view because it really shows off the way the bodysuit is laced together down each side, just as flattering as all the shapely stitching. 

AnaSTyle is also offering a thoughtful gift at this event, called Orkidea Red - Dress. It is a beautiful combo of satin and floral lace, with pretty golden bows on the front. The gift includes sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. Whether you wear it as a dress or lingerie, you are sure to get compliments in this racy red number. 

These warm summer days call for bikinis, like this terrific *Beauty Code*- Bikini Heart Gift. Weekend SL18B

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am happy to share some SL18B Shop and Hop exclusive offers and gifts found on the Snapdragon region. This is just one of 16 regions filled with generous designers who are taking part with discounted items and gifts for all who visit. The fun continues for another week and a half, as it is open until the 6th of July. There is a little something for everyone, and it is a good mix of newer participants and longtime well-known designers so you can find new favorites while seeing special releases from older favorites. 

First we are exploring the Entice display, where the exclusive discounted offers can be paired up to make an adorable outfit. This is their Daisies Top - Black - Cream Shell and the matching Daisies Leggings - Black - Cream, just $99L each at the event. They each include sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and I really like the black lace trim on both that provides a bold contrast to the pale fabric. 

Next I combined two gifts for another cute casual look, starting with the Entice - Earth Song Top - PastelFawn - Nude. This cropped t-shirt has a sweet baby deer image on the front, surrounded by flowers and greenery for that added touch of nature. It comes in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. As for my pants, they are the anika patent leather pants - deluxe gift from ISON. They include sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a 30 color HUD so you can choose from a very wide range of shades to shine in. 

TO.KISKI is offering 4 thoughtful gifts that we can wear individually or mix and match as I have done above. The top on the left is Leah Mini Dress - Silver 1, while the right is the White 2 of the same dress. They are short enough that you can choose to wear them over pants as I have here, which are the other two gifts :) On the right is their Leah Pant - Red 4 and on the right I am wearing the Leah Pant - Gold 2. My new body art is the Yande tattoo Woman gift from Yuna, which we receive in system/BOM layers and Omega appliers each of Ultra Light, Light, Medium, and Dark versions. 

My final look of the evening is the formfitting mini from Limited Addiction named Miley Dress Gift Pack 02. It comes in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, with a 5 texture HUD so you can change the look whenever you wish. I thought it would look great with a necklace, so I added the Badwolf - Kraken Necklace and discovered my hunch to be accurate :) This necklace has a resize script built in that you can access by clicking it, which is fortunate because its default size was large enough that I believe it was designed for a male avatar. I shrunk it about 25% or so, and it still looks wonderful! The dark metal gives the kraken a suitably ominous feeling which makes sense for this deep sea beast. Also if you're a hockey fan, the NHL is expanding next season and the new team will be the Seattle Kraken, so for me this is also a nod to them :)

Oh my, it is a lot later than I wanted it to be! Just a slow sort of evening here I guess, but I have an entire weekend to relax and feel better so I am looking forward to it. Shopping and Hopping at SL18B

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features several gifts from the Aurelian region at the SL18B Shop and Hop. There are 16 regions jam-packed with special offers and just about every designer (of the 320 there!) have a gift for visitors to enjoy. Some are giving store credit to each avatar who clicks a sign, while others have treats like clothing, accessories, or home decor. Whatever you are interested in, chances are you can find something to enhance your second life while helping them celebrate 18 terrific years. 

For my first look this evening I am wearing the lovely ::WILD::Fashion gift called Pamela Dress Pink. The dress comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the matching cross-strap sandals fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet. They are all so glamorous with that sparkly texture!

June is Pride month, so this gift from Candy Kitten is a delightful nod to it :) Their *CK* Savage love dress pride comes in sizes for Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and the cute rainbow striped kitty I am holding is included too. The plushie has a built in hold pose as you can see, and the dress is actually a layered look with "Pride Love is Love" t-shirt beneath an overalls mini dress with daring slits on each side that are loosely laced together. 

Next I slipped into the Decoy - Marin Top: Vibrant Blue gift, a cropped blouse with puffed sleeves and bare shoulders. It is provided in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, and I do love the color. You can wear it with just about any skirt or pants you wish, as I have paired mine with my favorite Delizio jeans which are a free marketplace gift in many colors. 

Valentina E. has a thoughtful gift for us too, their Kimmy Dress Teal Stripe which is designed for the Maitreya mesh body. The color is gorgeous, and I love the way the left strap dangles gently down our arm. The neckline is just low enough to perfectly frame the [ .A. ] Bronticorn Tattoo from Achromance. The left and right bronticorns are separate system/BOM layers, and there are faded and fresh versions of each so you can choose the look you prefer. I am wearing the fresh on my right so the left side of the photo, and the faded on the other. This is one of the few gifts that we must pay $1L but will be automatically refunded while the gift is delivered. 

My final look of the evening is more body art! That would be the A.D.D.Andel! Pride Chest and Arm Paint, in system/BOM layers. There are separate ones for the chest and arms, plus the combined one that I am wearing here. Just think, with all those pretty colors it can match all sorts of outfits :)

Jubilant SL18B and Summer Carnival

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are heading to SL18B again and one of the Shop and Hop regions, this time the Jubilant location. There are a total of 16 regions or sims involved in this extravaganza of a celebration, so you will want to set aside plenty of time (it took me multiple evenings) to really explore the areas. Speaking of exploring, we are also returning to the lovely Summer Carnival at Malus for some exclusive offerings and special sales. I think we all enjoy saving money, and the discounts and gachas there are both enjoyable ways to do so while freshening our summer wardrobes and living spaces. 

This wonderful gift from Salt & Pepper is their S&P Priscilla FATPACK dress. It fits the Maitreya body, and comes with a HUD to choose from 14 solid colors, 8 prints, 6 holographic (like the one on the left above), and 7 metal colors for the neck chain. There is also an option to turn materials on or off, which personally I think is essential to be "on" for the holos to make them pop even more :) 

I also picked up the gift from MONOMANIA called Affection Mono. This fun casual outfit consists of the sweater and pants each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, with tiptoe sneakers in Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink mid sizing. It is all various shades of grey except the slender yellowish stripes of the shirt, so very nearly monochromatic and you can accessorize with any color jewelry you are in the mood to wear.

Next we have a gift that you will truly need to see in person to fully appreciate. It is the Celestinas Weddings .:(CW):. Angelina Star Gown - Pink and includes several accessories in addition to the dramatically diagonal hemmed gown. The dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. Then we can add the silvery accessory at the neckline, and/or the golden necklace, matching earrings, bento rigged ring for the right hand, and the charming bouquet with animation hold built in. I have to say, I truly looked like a beauty pageant winner celebrating, with waving and blowing kisses :) You can turn the animation off if you prefer, but please do observe it for a moment just to get a kick out of the clever movements.

Over at the Summer Carnival, we are indulging in some extra affordable treats from [Ari-Pari] this evening like their Sweetheart Outfit seen here. Its bare shouldered crop top and jeans-styled pants are each provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a HUD offering 8 colors for each. The top's choices are all heart patterns to perfectly match the solid colors for our pants, but feel free to mix and match as you wish. This outfit is a mere $125L at the event, which is a 50% discount, so be sure and treat yourself because you deserve it.

I will admit, I couldn't choose between that outfit and their other 50% discounted offering, so you get to see both tonight :) This is the [Ari-Pari] Fiorella Outfit and is a sweet $125L as well. Shop and Hop is Golden

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are taking a look at several SL18B Shop and Hop gifts found on the Golden region/sim, all completely free with no group needed. There are 20 designers on each of 16 regions in this shopping event (open until the 6th of July) so there is much to explore and appreciate here. 

My first look is from a generous pack of gifts from [QE] Designs, whose creations include clothing, accessories, and home decor. The Tara Dress Double Pack consists of the dress seen here, [QE] Tara Dress -Tie Dye- and the one in my second photo below. They each come in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 4 color varations of tie dyed textures, and it is hard to choose a favorite since I love them all!

This is the lovely [QE] Tara Dress -Summer- from that double pack, and since it is the same style it includes the same sizes. It also has a 4 texture HUD, so you can select from really fun seasonal patterns like the two above. I particularly like the single short sleeve and the slightly diagonal hemline, very appealing!

There are two swimsuits among the [QE] gifts that also have matching footwear, so I combined them all for an extra fun summery look :) The pairing on the left is the [QE] Adelaide Bikini -Siren- with Avery Plats (platforms) also in Siren. The bikini's top and bottom are each sized for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with a 6 color HUD that changes both pieces at once. The high heels come in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High sizing, with a HUD that offers 6 matching textures as well as 3 metal colors. On the right we see the [QE] Fringe Kini -Watermelon- with the Melora Sandals also in Watermelon. The playful swimsuit fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, while the sandals are for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink Flat feet. I have always been a fan of the green and pink combo that cutting into a watermelon reveals, so this set certainly makes me happy.

Next we have the Faida - Keiko summer fruit gift, a sleeveless dress with drop waist and pleated skirt. The tiny fruits in the pattern look to be mostly berries, with the blueberries really brought out by the color of the skirt. This gift includes sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. 

You may have noticed that my nails looked extra long in the images tonight, well I am excited to show you a closer view so you can see this gift too. It is the Love is Love mesh nails gift from Illustrious, and consists of sizes for Belleza, Kupra, Maitreya, Slink, and Tonic hands. Just use your hand/body's HUD to hide the built in nails, then add the corresponding size from the gift folder. Easy peasy :) Most of the long slender nails have beautiful rainbow stripes, while the accent nails on our middle fingers are black with "Love is Love" in a rainbow print. While these are very appropriate right now for Pride month, the LGBT+ community deserves our support (and has mine!) year round, so these will make random appearances on my fingertips from time to time :) 

Today felt like an unusually long day for some reason, although it wasn't bad like that might typically imply. My sense of time is probably just funky, something that 2020 made worse but happened to me all too often before that. Maybe listening to 70s music instead of 80s music made me confused too ;) There sure were a lot of fascinating talents in each time frame. SL18B and Summer Carnival

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have two events for us to enjoy, so there is plenty of variety for all to appreciate. The SL18B celebration is still underway with a 16 region Shop and Hop, 320 designers offering discounted items as well as many free gifts. The gifts I am sharing tonight are all from the Frosted region, since I find it easiest to keep them sorted by which sim/region I found them in. I also stopped by the Summer Carnival at Malus, filled with "Fun in the Sun" until the 16th of July. There are exclusive offers, gifts of $25L or less, and even some gachas for those of us who enjoy the surprise of those addictive machines :) Let's get started!

My first look is an SL18B gift from [JUSTICE] called TERRY ROMPER - FATPACK. This strapless one-piece short outfit comes in sizes for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, with a HUD to choose from 20 terrific colors. I really like the built in belt, a slender strand tied in a loose bow in the front that always matches the outfit's color perfectly. 

*HolliPocket* has a flirty duo of slip dresses as their gift for all visitors. Melina Slip includes silver and silver dot versions, with the original silver being decorated with an intricate lace design. Each are provided in Legacy and Maitreya sizes, and you can really tell from the rear view how transparent they are. I am a big fan of the crossed straps in the back, adding visual interest along with the textures.

I also found the gift from PULSE which is their Jazzy Dress - M Lara / Wine. As the name indicates, it is created to fit the Maitreya Lara body, and in a rich ruby color worthy of your favorite red wine. It has crossed straps both front and back, and the peekaboo belly cutout is an alluring touch. 

Next I slipped into a commemorative top that is the *PSS* Cosmos Tops SL18B Gift. This short sleeved crop top with sheer panel comes in Legacy and Maitreya sizes, in a deep turquoise with SL18B emblazoned across it. You can pair this with anything you wish, as I have done with the marketplace gift from Delizio who appear here rather often :) Their jeans come in several colors as system/BOM layers along with Maitreya and Omega appliers, so they are versatile in multiple ways.

For my final look of the evening, I warmly invite you to the Summer Carnival where we are visiting the HORL display for some gorgeous body art. The tattoo on my right thigh is their Faith Tattoo, and can be yours for $180L. It is a BOM (Bakes On Mesh) layer that can also be worn by classic avatars, but I am wearing it on my Maitreya body which is BOM compatible. The intricate design reminds me of the chandelier style tattoos that you might see on upper ribs beneath breasts, with this one being held up by a sprig of dainty flowers. The lotus in the center captivated me, and honestly is a big part of why I was drawn to share this with you. It has been another hot one here with some thunderstorms this evening that made me a little nervous about possibly losing power, but *knock on wood* so far so good. They seem to be caused by a tropical storm off to the south, so eventually things will settle down. It's interesting how much the weather can affect people's moods without them realizing it. I enjoy every visit, thanks to the way Dove ensures that the region is decorated impeccably to match each theme which is something I've noticed she has quite a knack for :) Then there are the designers, who each bring their unique take on the round's concept with creative selections that are oh so tempting. I had a lovely time exploring and I did pick up a few demos while I was there, and was delighted to see a few random gifts that I am also sharing. Are you ready to smile this summer?

I am wearing the Red top and skirt combo on the left above, with Lemon appearing on the right. Each outfit includes the solid top and patterned skirt in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP body sizing. The strapless style of the top, tied in the front with a tiny bow, and the short fluttery skirt are a very flattering combination for any size or shape. 

I also visited the BlackbirdLace stand, where I gratefully picked up their gift called Andromeda Dress by BL/Bundles Gift. This short tank dress has a playful pattern of seasonal icons like sunglasses and ice cream on a watery background. It was a busy weekend with hot weather, so I was careful to wear sunscreen when I went out. This is why people joke about wanting to make me wear a suit of bubble wrap, LOL, to protect me from myself. It's usually my legs that get the worst of my klutzy behavior. Happy Birthday SL

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are celebrating Second Life's 18th birthday, which is a truly exciting milestone for our beloved virtual world. I have been here for almost 14 of those 18 years, and am always amazed at how much it has evolved to keep us enjoying it. The part of the celebration I am focused on for blog reasons is Shop and Hop, where you can find discounted offers from a whopping 320 designers on 16 full regions/sims from now until July 6th. Most of them are offering gifts for all visitors, while a few have group gifts for their store's group members. You can find clothing for men, women, and kids among the gifts as well as accessories and home decor of all sorts, great variety as always. I find it easiest to keep the gifts sorted by region when I share them, so tonight's treats are all found on the Gilded sim. 

We start the evening with the striking Emalia Dress - Ghost by MORBID. It has a sheer added layer of fabric over the tighter pencil skirt, and an intricate neckline with built in necklace. Our gift includes sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and it is such an attractive look that I am very grateful for.

>>GothiCatz<< is offering their Tiffany swimsuit as their SL18B gift, and it is a delightful retro style with a carnival pattern on the bottom complemented by red polka dots on top and waistband. Each piece comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. I am not always comfortable with clowns, I admit, but there is something about this style that catches my eye.

I also stopped by the !APHORISM! display, where I happily claimed this Jackie Dress Marigold Ltd Ed Gift. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a HUD offering 3 texture options: plain, pattern (left above), and ombre (right). The ombre is subtle and just goes a shade or two darker, and the pattern is a pretty square weave.

The halter style dress is included in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing, with a HUD to choose from 10 patterns and 4 metals for the zipper in back. For my final look of the evening, I decided to share two different gifts of tops that went well with my favorite Delizio marketplace freebie jeans. The left is the ZVI. Paeri Top which comes in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. It has a soft floral pattern on baby blue, and the cropped length is great for warm weather. Then on the right I changed into the Becca {Coffee & Love} from Slackr, whose mug image says "I run on Caffeine & Love". The heart shaped steam from our piping hot beverage is a wonderful touch, isn't it? The tank top itself is trimmed in red that really brings out the color of the mug. This gift includes Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite sizes. 

Hooray for the weekend! I had a nice visit with my parents for dinner, and am eager to visit the farmers market tomorrow morning. It will be warm and sunny, so sunscreen is a must, and I will be careful to stay hydrated. It is the next to last week for one of the regular vendors, who is returning to Mexico to care for his father whose health is failing, so we have to enjoy their talent and kindness while we can. Fortunately we will be able to keep in touch online, just another reason to be grateful for the internet.
