eBento Anniversary

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the 6th anniversary round of the eBento Event, which opened late last week and runs until the 5th of June. Their group is free to join, and that group tag lets you click dozens of gift boxes at most of the designers' displays to claim some wonderful free treats. I found there to be a very nice variety of fashions, accessories, home decor, and more, with plenty for the guys so not just a ladies' event :) I know there are lots of events out there, but I enjoy visiting as many as I can because they each offer different themes, exclusive items, and of course a different set of designers working hard to provide lots of great choices for our SL shopping. The generous gifts from time to time are just a fantastic bonus :)

My first look of the evening will help us get ready for summer with the *Flamingos* SwimSuit Alice - Pink gift. This playful style is a one-piece with three straps holding each side in place, which we can change to our choice of 10 colors via HUD. The swimsuit fits eBody, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. I'm sure you also noticed the flock of birds on my upper right thigh, well they are our Aviva. Swallow tattoo-Group gift. This is a BOM (bakes on mesh) layer so you can wear it on any BOM compatible mesh body or even on classic avatars since it's a system tattoo layer. I do love birds of course, even my blog name is a nod to that fact, so these little beauties are a very welcome gift.

Two more gifts make up my second look tonight, starting with the [HU] Dilly Top_Purple by Have Unequal. This fluttery halter top is designed for the Maitreya body, and includes a HUD with 5 metals which are the straps and the clasp in the front center. This looks to be a materials enabled item, as there is a distinct sheen that I am enjoying here :) Then I added the [BB] Belzebubble - Panties #6 gift, a duo of colors of thong panties that have the number 6 on the front in white. The black and red pairs are each provided in eBody Reborn, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes. So fun that the number 6 is a nod to the 6th anniversary of this wonderful event!

Next I changed into the full outfit from **ABSEN** which is aptly named -At the party-. It contains the top, panties, skirt, and boots, each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh bodies. The alpha/transparency of the lower half of the skirt made the panties disappear somehow, LOL, so I shimmied out of the skirt to show you the equally sparkly panties alone on the right. I know there's a way to fix the alpha layering issue but I was drawing a blank on how, sorry about that. Those boots really make the outfit for me, just a total showstopper of a look.

Well, I started the post with a swimsuit and coincidentally I'm wrapping it up with another :) This time it is the lovely {Le'La} Ulva Swimsuit Gift, a two piece bikini whose bra and panties are each designed for Erika, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Flat, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. That leopard print is as eye-catching as the wild straps, isn't it? It certainly caught my attention, and made me grateful that SL bodies don't get tan lines unless we decide to add them. Geez, I think that's proof that I'm old but I just had a flashback to how many girls went to tanning salons before prom and then worried about the tan lines, trying to use thick chalky makeup from the late 80s to hide them. I've actually never been in a tanning bed, since I've always been just too prone to burning in just a few minutes of sun exposure. 

It was another quiet day and I'm grateful for that, since I have a relatively long car ride tomorrow to get to my family doctor for a mostly routine checkup. I say mostly because I usually have little things to discuss that occasionally merit more attention, and she might want to look at the area I recently had the abscess drained. Happy Anniversary TLC

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of The Liaison Collaborative (TLC) event, such an impressive achievement for the organizers and their original mesh creator participants. The TLC group is free to join, and there are gift boxes at most of the displays which we can click to receive the generous gifts. I'm showing an assortment of those gifts this evening, and I am very excited about the treats I found here. There is plenty of time to do some shopping too, as the round just opened and lasts until the 10th of April. 

My first look is a playful one if you are going to be celebrating Easter, or feel like dressing up as a Playboy bunny :) It is the *LuLu* BUNNIE_BUBBLE GUM gift and has been created specifically for the Maitreya mesh body. The outfit is comprised of the strapless leotard, collar, cuffs, tail, ears with resize script, stilettos, and an applier for the stockings. They are all separate pieces so you can wear as many as you wish or leave anything off that you want to. The shoes were initially up higher on my ankles, but I was able to edit and move them down to my feet so if they don't fit you correctly at first, don't panic and try doing what I did. Surely I'm not the only one eyeballing those sexy seamed stockings and wondering what else I can wear them with?

For your next formal event, or whenever you feel the urge to dress up spectacularly, I suggest the **LURE** dress TRINITY-RED gift. I had to get a bit creative with the pose to show you the -CoreEssence- Dress Rebby, thanks to the fact that this gift is all strap and no coverage on the bodice. I decided that the best way to show off tattoos was stripping down to the basics, in this case a set of pasties and thong that I found for free on the marketplace from [CT]. They are a single piece BOM system layer, as well as appliers for Maitreya and Omega. the star of the show is the gift from Juna called Dala tattoo Woman, whose intricate artwork appears on the collarbones and upper midriff, both arms, and even the upper back which mirrors the front upper chest piece. There are Light, Medium, and Dark versions (dark shown in hopes that it photographs the best) in system/BOM layers and appliers compatible with Altamura, Belleza, Eve, Maitreya, Omega, Signature, Slink, and TMP mesh bodies. That is a great range of compatibility, isn't it?

One final look this evening, I kept the X pasties and thong on but changed into another striking tattoo, this time the REVIVER - TLC GIFT KYO TATTOO. I had to look fairly closely before I realized that there is an elephant's head up top, front and center, among lots of large classic roses in full bloom. Both arms are covered in roses, and much of the midriff all the way around, so this can peek out through many styles of clothing. The tattoo is provided as system/BOM layers in Light, Medium, or Dark which is the one I am wearing above. I find it contrasts my light skin tone best to show up in photos easier, but the other opacities are great for that well worn, lived in look. 

My goodness, how is the weekend over already? Saturday morning was chilly and the winds were harsh on any exposed skin, so I'm glad I slathered my face with Vanicream before heading to the farmers market. It seems to work with my sensitive skin, and I am using the large tube that I initially bought for my dry feet so versatility is nice :) A few vendors were unable to make it to market this weekend which was a bit of a bummer, but I made the best of things and enjoyed seeing the people (and dogs) who were there. Tomorrow I'm going to the chiropractor and will ask him about this painful pinky, as I have the x-rays on CD he can see, and his office also does physical therapy which might be necessary. Group Gifts from eBENTO

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some gifts to share from the eBENTO event for their December round. All you need is their free group tag active, and then click all the gift boxes you can find at most of the vendor's displays. It is easy to get into a holiday mood when there are bargains to be had and free treats to claim, so I am very glad I visited :)

My first look this evening is the striking gown from ***LURE*** which is their dress TRINITY-SILVER. The dress and necklace chain each come in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and since they are separate pieces you can wear the gown with or without the necklace. They do resemble snowflakes and the bodice of the dress is trimmed with similar adornments, so personally I like the look worn together. But if you have a favorite necklace or collar that you prefer, you certainly have the option which I do appreciate.

Optimus Ride is offering a playful bodysuit as their gift for us, called OR SEXY GIRL RACING SUIT 12. The formfitting suit is racy indeed, and is provided in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP body sizing. The white V between black and red sections is especially flattering as it draws the eyes directly to our curves.

I also picked up an adorably flirty gift from KEY STYLE, their SANTAS LADIES GIFT 2022. The bodysuit and cape are each included for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a hat that is unrigged and adjustable as needed. We can wear these pieces all together as I did on the right, or just the one/s that suit our mood of the moment. The bows and corset style lacing down the front are such pretty details, and I feel like without the hat and cape, the bodysuit is not holiday-specific.

I hope you're not tired of red, LOL, as I next slipped into the beautiful Carol's Store-Franny Glitter Dress Red gift. This dress has a fantastic texture as you can see, and fits Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Momma, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy Boobs mesh bodies. The strapless style means you can get very creative with accessories, like nearly any length necklace will work wonderfully. 

One last look this evening, a little something to warm up a chilly night :) This is the ILL Christmas underwear gift from I Love Lida, with bra and panties each to fit the Maitreya body. That bold crimson color is just right for the season, yet it can come in very handy any time of year of course. Valentine's Day, a random summer afternoon...it's all good!

It was quite a day...my housemate went from thinking he was coming down with something (slightly sore throat, nothing else) to 102 degree fever and nearly passing out in a matter of 2 hours or less. The covid test came up negative, thank goodness, and he already had a family doctor visit scheduled for tomorrow as I also do. If he hadn't, I would have given him my appointment if she allowed it. We are thinking it is a standard flu, but the doctor may wish to do that brain-tickling covid test (hehehe) so I might wind up in a quarantine situation. Talk about bad timing, so close to the holidays and a few days before his trip to visit family in his home state. Fall Festival at Malus Park

Summer Carnival at Malus Park

The speckled glimmer makes me think of sand and the sun reflecting off the ocean, and polka dots have a classic retro vibe that I have always been partial to.

Hooray for the weekend! I am looking forward to a visit to my favorite local farmers market as usual, and will probably relax as much as possible on Sunday. Sexy eBENTO Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a look at some more anniversary gifts found at this round of eBENTO. Just join their free group and click all the giftboxes with attached balloons you see at most of the displays, and you will wind up with an impressive array of goodies for free. This 5th anniversary round is open until the end of the month, so we have about 2 weeks left to visit and enjoy.

My first look this evening starts with the Orkidea Black&Gold dress from AnaSTyle. It is provided in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, with black satin bodice and straps that look dashing against the sheer gold lace fabric of the sides and back. The golden bows on the front inspired my tattoo addition, the Sweet & sexy leg tattoo gift from Black Swan. These pretty bows on the back of our upper thighs come in a system/BOM layer that works with compatible mesh bodies or classic avatars. 

You may have noticed my nails in that previous photo, a wonderful match for the black and gold of the dress. March Hunt and Spring Fling

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we start by exploring the March Hunt, a gridwide $1L hunt where we are looking for red roses (flat prim images, just the blossom part) in various stores. The landmarks and hints are all on the hunt's website, as is fairly common with such hunts :) I wound up visiting some very familiar stores and located some terrific prizes as you will see. Then we are heading to the wonderful Spring Fling event, where there are many exclusive offers as well as gifts for $25L or less. Malus Park is looking lovely as always, so I am confident that you will appreciate your time visiting and looking around. 

My first look this evening is the .Princess Stuff. [March Hunt-2022] prize, their Froufrou Mini Dress. This sharp looking strapless mini has a slightly contrasting ruffled neckline and great satiny texture, in my favorite color purple. The prize includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes.

Another store whose hunt prizes always impress is The Sissy Bar, where I gratefully found their March Hunt dress. It comes in sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Tonic Curvy mesh bodies. It has a tied halter neck and built in belt with saucy copper buckle, and a playful slit on the left thigh. I think the pineapple pattern is a great touch too, tropical and cheery. 

Next I visited Wiccan Wears and found their red roses, which hold the ~WW~ Summer Strapless - Shamrock prize seen above. This chic styling flatters our curves while wrapping them in four leaf clovers, just in time for a certain holiday :) Our prize includes standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body versions. 

Over at Spring Fling, I was delighted to find that ***LURE*** is offering a beautiful free gift called bodysuit Michaela- OCEAN. A Very Special Episode

 Hiya everyone! The following blog post contains sexually suggestive language and somewhat revealing images. Reader discretion is advised ;) Please take that in the joking tone I am intending, as there are no sex acts depicted and I have hidden most of the private parts that the clothing chooses to uncover. The hunt itself that all looks tonight are prizes from is very adult by nature, the Hunt For Your Inner Slut hunt which has us searching for golden cocks. No, not a rooster...Mr. Happy is a gold colored male member, with both twig and berries, and that can lead to some very intriguing hiding places. There are a dozen stores taking part in this free hunt, and all locations and hints can be found on their website. Naturally the stores have lots of adult content and are located in adult regions, so please keep that in mind when deciding to take part in this adventure :) The hunt is open until the 15th of this month, and has a general theme of Fall of Rome.

My first look of the evening is the ***LURE*** dress Aurora- red lycra prize. This daring dress has crossed straps and a deep dip both front and back. It is provided in sizes for eBody Reborn, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The bright color really shows off the sheen of the fabric beautifully!

I also made another trip to Freya's Fashions (fun fact, visiting for yesterday's blog post is how I found out about this hunt being active!) to claim their FF Junia Halter Dress (HYIS) prize. This version is called Naturals, and includes a HUD with 6 similarly lovely textures for the belt, top, and skirt, with 6 metal colors for the swirl in the front. The dress itself comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. The flirty style has a double tied halter top that is barely attached in the front to the long skirt with slits on each side. 

Next we have a sensual prize from Have Unequal called [HU] Gaya Dress Grey. There are two versions included, with and without a lace texture for the top, each in sizes for Belleza Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya bodies. The gold halter neckline, belt, and closures on the top are a nice contrast to the silvery grey fabric color, and I am wearing the lace version on the left but the solid on the right above.

For this look I broke out the photoshop "modesty flowers" that I employ here from time to time, so the white flowers hiding my nipples above are not in SL and not part of the outfit whatsoever. This is the HFYIS Sex Servant hunt prize from Blink2Wink, both sexy and versatile. The sheer body wrap is a system/BOM layer with lots of intricate straps, and the black wrap comes in a fitmesh size as well as Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. I think this makes me envision dancing for someone special, then sliding out of the mesh wrap to show off the sheer layer beneath...

My final look this evening is the provocative *Flamingos* Exposed Bikini COW HYIS prize. I love the way the bra is unhooked in the front, and the panties are a mere strand of cow-print fabric pulled high on the hips into a thong back. The prize includes eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes of each piece. 

It was a decent but busy day, and the podiatrist appointment went better than usual since there were no ingrown nails that needed removing. The new doctor was very good and asked a lot of questions that showed he was truly looking out for my wellbeing, and due to my regular doc's schedule I am seeing the new doctor again instead in 9 weeks. The receptionist said that she's been directing people to new doctor for when the other doctor retires (he is in his 70s but never said anything official yet) because the new doctor is "awesome" :) Tomorrow will be a calm day at home because of the weather, but it should be safe to visit the farmers market on Saturday so I'm looking forward to that. Winter Weekend Wonderland

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I went with a bit of variety, starting with another visit to the Holiday Shop & Hop 2021 event. This time we explore the Poppy region, one of a dozen regions loaded with talented designers offering discounts and free gifts for all visitors. They're all decorated very nicely too, as you will see, and we have until the 2nd of January to stop by. Then I went to the Winter Wonderland Event at Malus Park, another terrific place to shop for the perfect new outfit or home decor items for this festive season. There are exclusive offers and discounts awaiting, and I am always delighted with the participants each round of Malus Park events. Many are familiar to me, but I usually find someone new to become acquainted with as well. It's like having great old friends while making fun new ones :)

My first look is the Shop & Hop gift from Pink Cream Pie, their !PCP :: Aspen Dress [Xmas Pack]. This flirty halter dress has daring openings in the front that are held closed by beaded strands, and comes in sizes for Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The versatile HUD provided offers 24 texture options for the dress itself (12 prints and 12 solids), 12 colors for the string at the neckline, 12 for the beads, 24 hues for the built in panties, and an option to toggle the panties off and on. Many of the prints are seasonal, while the solid colors make this a nice choice to wear any time of year.

Next we have the equally seductive !CRISP Bear! <GIFT> Holidays Shop & Hop dress, in icy white and blue with intricate snowflakes dancing about. The dress comes in a fitmesh M size for classic avatars as well as a Maitreya version, both with the golden brooch holding the bodice together above a playful opening. I really like the asymmetrical hem too, for flashes of thigh as we walk or dance.

The pleated skirt and collar resembling a scarf (neckerchief?) give school uniform vibes, although mine were never quite this short and sexy ;) I also didn't get a bow at the waist for my RL uniforms, which is a lovely detail here on Brand New Day. 

Over at the Winter Wonderland event, I visited the Blink2Wink display where I found this charming Winter Tunic as their exclusive offer. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous bodies, with a 15 pattern HUD so you can change the look as you wish. The off-shoulder neckline is held in place with the most delicate of straps, and the short skirt has a very pretty flare to it. My final look this evening is actually a free treat you can find at the ***LURE*** display, their ELLE-Black Panther+RED dresses. That's right, both colors are included in this gift! Each includes sizing for Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The Black Panther texture (left above) has a purplish tone in my lighting, while the red is picking up a bit of raspberry to me, both of which make them look terrific! The styling is very alluring, with the crossed straps and deep V neckline to complement the short hem and bare back. From any angle we are going to look sizzling in this duo of dresses.

Hooray for Friday! It was a decent day, and I got to have dinner with my parents while discussing the holidays a little further. The visit with my grandmother on Christmas eve is off, but the pizza making on Christmas day with just my parents is still on. I took a home test (the plague one, not pregnancy which it almost sounds like LOL) and as I fully expected it was negative. So I just have an annoying cough that is not a sign of anything more sinister, other than being allergic to way too many things. Tomorrow is the farmers market and I will be wearing a mask to protect others from my coughing, and to keep my face warm in case it is chilly that early. The cloth ones are really nice for that, and I found them comforting last winter. I get to enjoy homemade pierogies tomorrow too which is another smile for the weekend.
