The Haunting Continues

 Hiya everyone! Tonight is a part two, of the Haunted Nightmare Hunt from Pretty Kitty Designs. As I explained yesterday, there are free smiley pumpkins and more sinister looking ones priced from $10L - $100L hiding among 2 regions full of, well, the stuff of nightmares that are haunted :) I'd like to repeat the warning about the flashing lights, as there is lightning visible throughout and it is strong enough that I can easily imagine it being a problem for those who are sensitive to light flashing. There are also plenty of visuals worthy of horror movies, like blood, body parts, ghosts and bats that swarm and follow us, cemeteries, and generally spooky effects that are not for the faint of heart. Tis the season, what else can I say? LOL! Some folks seem to prefer this season to the one that follows in December. Don't forget to explore the buildings thoroughly so you can find the way down to the underground caverns that also have prizes for us, and try not to get lost in those tunnels because I'm not sure when the resident critters have been properly fed...

For my first look tonight I am showing two terrific free prizes side by side. The top on the left is our ::Sweet Intoxication:: Zara Top - Zinnia treat, a loosely draped beauty in deep vibrant orange just right for the season. There are Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes included. Then I changed into the MCC - woman - halloween drape top 1 prize from MadCat Creations. The style is clever with the trio of straps on each sleeve between bold cutouts, and the image on the front really made me smile. It says "Peace Love & Witchcraft" underneath a hand flashing a peace sign, a heart with leopard print, and the back view of a woman with light brown hair wearing a blue dress and black witch hat. Sizes include Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, Prima Busty, and Prima Petite mesh body versions. With both tops I'm wearing the black pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace gift which is a fatpack in system/BOM layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega.

Next we take a look at the lovely !!REV IT UP!! DESIGNS - WEBBED UP DRESS which is one of several free prizes we can find here. The strapless dress has a full ruffly skirt, very short so we are showing off a lot of leg in addition to the cleavage that the low cut top reveals. There are sizes for Altamura Sofia, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies, along with a 5 color HUD. The large witchy hat is provided too, and it is unrigged so we can adjust if needed. I really like the way the lace on the bodice transitions into the spiderweb design on the midriff, in a way pointing out the way nature shows art and creativity with spiders' handiwork.

Another great look for this time of year is our !!REV IT UP!! DESIGNS - PRISSY HALLOWEEN prize. The top, skirt, and belt will all fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies, and we also receive the fishnet stockings and a pair of panties as BOM layers. The image on the shirt is a skeleton with HAPPY HALLOWEEN across them in many different colored letters, with bats hovering over each of the arms. It is a playful and classic design for Halloween that I'm really enjoying.

If you're feeling a bit flirty this year, why not celebrate the season in the !!REV IT UP!! DESIGNS - CAMO HALLOWEEN prize? The tank top says Happy Halloween in orange with cobwebs adorning it, and comes in Kupra, Kupra Corset Squeezed, Legacy, Legacy Push Up Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy Boobs sizes. The camo print shorts will fit Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. My final look of the evening has a terrific retro vibe that I adore. It's called !!REV IT UP!! DESIGNS - BOO DRESS and is yet another of their generous free offerings at this hunt :) There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies, with a HUD offering 4 choices for the top, 9 textures for the skirt, and 11 belt colors. Please note that the HUD was hidden when I added it, and it is very large so I had to right click - edit, use the mouse scroll wheel until I could see it, and move it to see one half at a time. It's no-mod so we can't edit it smaller, but once I figured out where it was hidden offscreen and how to use it, it was no problem. I am absolutely not complaining, as it would be extremely tacky and ungrateful to gripe about a free gift, and I am sincerely thrilled with their prizes for this hunt ♥. All 4 colors for the top have the same BOO on them, and there is a great mixture of prints for the skirt :)

It was a quiet day here, unlike the upcoming couple of days...I have a therapy session tomorrow that will probably involve an outing in the car, and that will most likely cause a panic attack to some degree (thanks, agoraphobia...) so I am not particularly looking forward to it. I'm sure I will be fine in the long run, and then Friday is dinner at my parents' which is much more enjoyable. Haunted Nightmare Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to dive into the spooky season with the Haunted Nightmare Hunt. It is an intriguing hunt involving two connected regions/sims that are fully decorated in a seasonal tone, with $0L smiling pumpkins and some more sinister looking carved ones for $10L - $100L to claim the prizes within those. Follow the arrows on the ground when you arrive to reach the gate to teleport to the start, and please heed the warning about the flashing lights (lightning) because they are frequent and strong. Also you should be aware that there is blood, gore, body parts, ghosts, gravestones, two-headed rats, and well I think there were multiple two-headed critter types so lots of potential scares. There is also an underground tunnel maze that contains prizes too, so you will need to figure out how to get down there eventually :) My only hint is to explore inside any buildings you find, open doors, click walls, see if there's a hidden passage somewhere, and have fun! Teamwork with friends would surely help, unfortunately Xan was unavailable when I did this so I might have taken much longer than average to find what I did. I did this hunt last year without his assistance too, as I don't think he would enjoy it and the sounds would bother him (I took off my headset because I wasn't voice chatting with him) and I'll probably be dragging him to plenty of other creepy spooky things this month ;) Speaking of this month, we have until the end of October to claim all of these prizes so you have lots of time to enjoy.

My first look of the evening is our free ::Sweet Intoxication:: Hana Jumpsuit - Black hunt prize. It includes the slim fitting jumpsuit and cropped tank top to wear beneath it, each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. Just think - we can easily slip out of either piece to wear with something else, or with nothing at all ;)

This month offers lots of opportunities to wear costumes, and this particular designer has several free choices among their many hunt prizes. This is the !!REV IT UP!!DESIGNS - WITCHIE NIGHTS 2 and yes, that 2 does indicate that there's a #1 hiding too :) This prize starts with the dress in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Reborn mesh body sizes, then we can add the hat which is unrigged and adjustable. There are BOM layers for tintable panties and the fishnet stockings you can see here, so all you'll need to add are your favorite boots or shoes. The traditional Halloween coloring looks great with the celestial pattern!

A perfect way to feel like royalty can be found in the free pumpkin that holds our !!REV IT UP!!DESIGNS - QUEEN OF HEARTS DRESS. The prize has both the dress and the boots inside, in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is also a HUD for each, with 5 choices on the dress HUD and 4 colors for the boots. Let's not forget the small silver crown, worn jauntily atop the head with a slight tilt to the left :) I'm tempted to add the panties from the previous gift for modesty, as the skirt is both short and sheer.

Our free !!REV IT UP!!DESIGNS - BOOSKULLIES OUTFIT is a fun seasonal top and jeans pairing rather than a costume, and I am a big fan! The tank top has skulls, some of which are wearing pink bows, with the word BOO scattered about, and fits Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies. Then we have the perfectly faded slim-fit jeans, provided in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I found that wearing the included alpha layer helped keep all of me inside the jeans, lol, and really love the way they look. 

My final look of the evening is the [Glitzz] Midnight Set - Black free prize. Its bodysuit and matching corset belt are each designed for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a HUD that offers 3 metals for the belt. The sleek black has a very elegant feel, and the cut is very flattering to every curve. 

It was a decent day here, slightly busy as I went to a very local convenience store and had some anxiety but maybe not as terrible as the last time. Beating agoraphobia is a slow and frustrating process, but a very necessary one :) Tomorrow I am staying home, so it should be relatively relaxing, and I'm waiting on further instructions from my family doctor about how to wean off a current med to switch to a new one. Fingers crossed that the new medicine agrees with me, and more importantly actually helps. Haunted Nightmare Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I explored a terrific hunt called Haunted Nightmare by Pretty Kitty Designs, spread across two sims and with prizes ranging from $0L - $100L. The free ones are in happy smiling jack-o-lanterns, while the others have a more sinister jagged toothed grin, and there are examples on the sign at the landing point. Follow the purple lighted arrows on the ground to reach the teleport to the hunting grounds, then be prepared to wander through haunted woods, creepy buildings, even a cave with a maze system that also contains some of the prizes. I suggest you take your time and look in every area you can find :) There is a warning for photosensitive conditions like epilepsy, as there are flashing lights from the thunderstorms that add to the spooky ambiance, so I figured that is worth mentioning. 

Applique` Chic has several free prizes waiting for us, like the AC: Howling Glitter Ghostie #1 dress I'm enjoying here. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes, with a 6 texture HUD. As you can see on the right, there are a couple of choices without the ghosts on them, for lots of variety. I also added the AC: Howling Glitter Necklace #6 to accessorize the look, and this free prize consists of the unrigged necklace and a HUD with 11 colors for the gemstones. Another happy pumpkin contains their AC: Howling Glitter Words #3 dress, a free prize you won't want to miss out on :) The dress is the same style as the previously shown one so it comes in the same set of sizes, and has a similar 6 texture HUD with words like boo, eek, spooky, and Happy Halloween written on the bodice. It goes wonderfully with the necklace and heels too, which I'm sure is by design.

I had so much fun with these gifts and their HUDs, as I'm sure you can tell!

Next we explore prizes from another designer with several free offerings among the many jack-o-lanterns, !!REV IT UP!! DESIGNS. Each one I found had the original Halloween themed dress and a plain version whose top is solid black, so you can enjoy that one year-round :) I am wearing the Black Magic 5 Plain on the left, and Black Magic on the right. My final look this evening is two more prizes from !!REV IT UP!! DESIGNS. The lovely style on the left is Black Magic 1, and I'm wearing Black Magic 6 Plain on the right. I am drawn to the celestial pattern on these fluttery skirts and suspenders, and you can see most of the back is revealed just like the front. What other treats will you claim at Haunted Nightmare?

The autumn weather is definitely here, and I had to switch from ceiling fan to small room heater in a hurry yesterday. Today is much the same, with more rain the next few days that keep things cooler. I have been looking into a few hunts in SL that are mostly Halloween themed, so you can expect the next several posts to have lots of spooky fashions sprinkled in :) One of my favorite things about this time of year is the warm flattering colors of fall, so they should be making lots of appearances too.
