Hiya everyone! Tonight's post starts with some more Stay at Home Club gifts, all from Dark Fairy Designs. They have a multi-vendor set up that you can use the arrows to get the gift you want to claim as the large central image, then right click and pay $1L which will be automatically refunded. There are several available, so please be sure to scroll through all of them :) I also have a terrific Midnight Mania prize to show you, so there is a lot to appreciate in this post. I also indulged in a little bit of retail therapy, and bought a hairstyle that I had been admiring for ages so I could no longer resist.
This gorgeous dress is the most recently added of the Stay at Home Gifts, the DFF Sara Gown (Cosmic). It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. I appreciate the details like the side slit and gathered waist area, and the flounce around the top that enhances the bust.
I combined two gifts here, one of which I had blogged previously and the other is new to me. The top is called DFF Cyndi Shirt (Grimm) #15, and immediately put me in mind of the upcoming Halloween season. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies, all with that unique shredded style and spooky image on the front. My pants here are another generous gift, DFF Urban Capris #7. Their playful energy has graffiti artwork and tied cuffs, in Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes with an additional wide waist version of each size.
These two gifts were probably not designed to go together, but I certainly enjoyed pairing them together and keeping things in a similar color family. The top is called DFF Stormy Top #27, a whimsical fringed tube top that is tied in the front and reminds me of repurposing a scarf as a flirty top. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Dog, and Dragon mesh bodies. The lovely skirt is our DFF Daisy Skirt Set 2 #13 gift, whose belt echoes the top's loose ties beautifully. Inside this gift you will find sizing for Altamura, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. If you like the style but would prefer a different color scheme, please have a peek at my next photo :)
That same terrific skirt is provided in a different color/texture combination as another gift, their DFF Daisy Skirt Set 3 #6. It comes in the same mesh sizes, all in this leafy pattern with crimson background and matching belt draped through the belt loops. As for my top, I cannot stress how much I enjoyed being able to claim this gift! It is called DFF Candid Shirt #11, and reads "The sarcasm is strong with this one" on the front in a very familiar font, reminiscent of a space type movie series ;) The back is open but laced together, I apologize for not showing that but my long hair was hiding it for the most part anyway. This clever tank top includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Fox, and Werewolf mesh bodies. The funny thing is, I am not sarcastic to strangers or casual acquaintances, but those who get to know me very well do wind up being exposed to my sarcastic side eventually. It is usually aimed at my own misfortunes and goofy behavior, not as a weapon towards others.
For my final look of the evening, we head to Entice where you will want to pop on that free group tag so you can click the group-only Midnight Mania board. If enough people do so, you will receive this charming Santa-San Lingerie - Orange gift for free. Quick hair note of the night: this is a release from a few months ago, so not really a new release anymore but it is new to me so I am having fun with it. It is the Truth Hair style called Destiny, and I chose their Redhead package. There is a stylist tab on the color HUD so you can show or hide the strands on each shoulder, and there are a couple of sizes included with or without wisps. I am not affiliated with the store, just a longtime fan who has very little self-control when it comes to their hairs.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to feature a few Stay at Home Club gifts, since they are closing their website on the 25th and all the participating stores will have the choice to take the gifts down at that time. The deadline is creeping closer and closer, so it felt like time to switch gears back to them :) I really do admire the organizers as well as every single designer who offered gifts throughout these long months, to lift our spirits through difficult times. It is a compassionate effort and I believe it helped our SL community to focus on the safety of the virtual world we all enjoy so much. My time in SL has always been a haven and often an escape from harsh realities, and even more so lately. These gifts are completely free, no group needed, although some stores use vendors that we have to pay $1L and get refunded so the system keeps track of it for redelivery purposes.
My first look of the evening is one of two gifts at Cats Claw Designs, their dazzling CCD_Jocie Wrap Dress Black Gold Twirls. This halter style mini comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and even a standard M for classic avatars. The lace trim adds an extra flirt factor, and the golden waves are a beautiful touch.
Cats Claw Designs is also offering this charming _CCD_Ava Corset Mini Dress for all visitors, and it is quite versatile. The dress itself is provided in eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique sizes, plus a standard fitted version. The included HUD offers 23 textures for the dress and 6 for the belt, so you can have fun mixing and matching. The extra short flared skirt with asymmetrical hemline can be a bit cheeky from behind, so you could layer leggings or jeans beneath if you wish, especially in the cooler months.
My next stop was Rogue Echo, where I was delighted to find another new gift for a total of 5 generous treats for the Stay at Home Club. This is the {RE} G Lily Wrapped Mini, and it comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The wide sage colored belt holds the dress closed perfectly, and I really like the soft floral pattern.
I also visited Luvdiva Fashion again, where I found a new Stay at Home Gift named Josie. She includes the top and skirt each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, plus the coordinating tied platform heels for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. The pink and white block pattern certainly caught my eye, as pink is a favorite color of mine.
For my final look of the evening, I chose one of the two currently available gifts from +Uni Boutique+, this one being their Spring Dress - Green. It has a beautiful embroidered lace inset in the neckline, and a playful slit on the right thigh. Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit Emerald Couture, who are offering several Stay at Home Club gifts in addition to their other myriad gifts, prizes, and sales items for very affordable looks. The random inspiration today was my thinking about who usually provides clothing with matching shoes, and this is the store that came to mind first :) I appreciate their quality and the variety, plus it is simply so much easier to get dressed when your footwear is already selected and coordinated. Because of the vendor system the store uses, you will need to right click and pay each image $1L, which will be immediately refunded while the gift is delivered to you. Easy peasy :) This allows the gift to be tracked in their system so you can request a redelivery in the future if needed. While you are there, I suggest checking the lucky chairs around the corner as well as all the sales on the same wall as the Stay at Home gifts, some really appealing choices.
My first look this evening is the EC Wild Side Outfit Pink, a dramatic dress and boots combo that is ready to help you turn heads wherever you go. The dress comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions, and there are matching panties in the same sizing. This fantastic outfit is the EC Romantic Romper Lips gift, ready for Valentines Day or any time you are feeling romantic. The adorable shoes come in Maitreya and Slink high sizing, and I love those heart shaped heels!

The design really shows up beautifully against the dark background.
I was also very impressed with the EC Poly Polynesia Outfit Gray gift, decorated in gold swirls and featuring a whimsical asymmetric hemline. Our dress is sized for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, with matching shoes in Maitreya and Slink High versions. It is such an elegant look, especially with the Mandarin collar.
For my final look of the evening, I slipped into the striking EC Tanhuang Gray Outfit. It consists of the dress, buttons, and panties all in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with strappy sandals in Maitreya and Slink High versions. The buttons being a separate attachment is a fun detail, so you can wear it with or without (I am showing it with here) those pretty frog clasps. The lacing holding the back together is a flirty touch too, and I admire the delicate floral pattern seen throughout the dress and shoes.
It felt like a long day, maybe because my mind is still on two weird dreams I had, one of which seemed to mix SL and RL. That does happen to me from time to time, and it amuses me quite a bit when it does. The other involved a former friend from high school, sadly we lost touch several years ago when her husband created a fake facebook account and tried discussing inappropriate things with a few people including myself. At least he wasn't in the dream, or he would probably have been creepy. The SL/RL mix involved a mesh head that updated to include a body, but in RL, and I couldn't get the HUD to work correctly so I was stuck unable to teleport home. My dreams are usually this odd, that's the fun part ;) Anyone else out there with an overactive, extra vivid imagination while sleeping? Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more Stay at Home Club gifts to enjoy, before they wrap things up on September 25th after 6 fantastic months. They should be commended for their hard work and dedication to improving morale in SL, and all the participating designers have my deepest gratitude as well :) My faith in humanity is always restored or at least boosted by situations like this, people coming together in troubled times to support each other. That being said, I am excited to show you another handful of free gifts that you can claim with no group tag needed, just visit each store and you too can brighten up your wardrobe.
=Mimido= has several Stay at Home Club gifts available for ladies, men, and kids, so I chose two of the grown up gals' gifts to share. On the left you can see their Splashy Top, with bright splatters of color against the charcoal backdrop. It comes in sizes for classic avatars (S, M, L) along with Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. I have a soft spot for guinea pigs, thanks to my RL best friend having several over the years and my fond memories of watching TV and hanging out with her while cuddling one of her furbabies on my lap. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am featuring some more Stay at Home Club gifts, with an update on the status of the club. They have announced on their website that they will be closing down the site, in-world group, discord channel, etc. on September 25th which is exactly 6 months after its opening. That is a very long time for the organizers to have kept this going, and I have been so impressed with their kindness in doing so. The fact that they had to deal with harassment makes me sad, but I still appreciate them and everyone who was supportive of their efforts. We have just under 3 weeks remaining then to peruse the bounty of fantastic gifts, and visit the stores to pick up the ones we desire. I will show you more here and there too, with the closing date in mind. Tonight's visits included two stores that were new to me, noteworthy as the introductions to stores I had not experienced yet was a true bonus these past several months.
My first stop was a familiar one, the wonderful *Lurve* where you can claim their Bunny Hugs Mini as their Stay at Home Club gift. Those drawings of the tutu-clad bunny and bear hugging are simply too cute!
::Multi Design:: also has a flirty treat for us, called Adriana Gift Dress. It has daring cutouts in the front and sides, and is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. The HUD offers 40 texture choices broken down to 10 colors each in categories of solid, pattern, lace-1, and velvet, with each having a color for the trim, and a set of 10 lace edging colors for the hem. There are also 3 metals for the rings and buttons in the middle. That is a lot of versatility!
I have always been intrigued by one piece swimsuits that had openings that made them appear more like two pieces linked together, so this gift from Created by Peacy Design certainly caught my eye. It is called CrissCross Swimsuit Coconut, and includes sizes for Alice, Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. The colors make me think of nature, mainly sand and palm trees.
Next I visited Dressed by Lexi, where I eagerly picked up their ::DBL:: Love Floral Dress gift. The dress comes in a fitmesh size for classic avatars, as well as versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. There are also two pairs of sleeves included, floral sleeves and dot sleeves, although I am wearing one on each side of the image above and could not notice a difference. They do add some movement to the shoulders, and you can easily wear this dress with or without the sleeves depending on your personal preferences.
For my final look this evening, I visited Rogue Echo again, as I saw on the Stay at Home website that they'd added a new gift since I last stopped by. This is their 4th gift for us, called {RE} Sky Outfit. It wears as one piece with the look of two, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The halter top has a very classy flavor, while the decorated back pockets on the pants lean towards the fun and casual. I am very grateful for all of their gifts.
For a split second I had no idea what day of the week it was anymore (again), if that gives you an idea of how weirdly time is behaving for me lately. My day was not particularly noteworthy, so I am simply looking forward to my time in SL and a little more Twisted hunting :) Because there are side hunts and the prizes are not very easy to find, it will take Xan and me quite a while yet to complete the hunt, and then the end game will drive us both batty. Teamwork makes the dream work though, LOL, and we will get through it all one way or another. Then I will have lots of twisted prizes to show you. Hiya everyone! Tonight I was in the mood for variety, so I started out by visiting a few places to claim some Stay at Home Club gifts. There are so many thoughtful designers who are participating, and I am grateful to all of them for lifting our spirits as times remain uncertain. These gifts do not require a group tag to claim them, and there are several categories on the website so I do suggest exploring it and seeing what else grabs your attention. I was also inspired by the time of year, and wanted to dress like a mermaid, which I was able to do thanks to Entice and their We Love Roleplay offer for this round. Clearly I had some fun with these outfits!
My first stop was Vips Creations, where I happily claimed this flirty [Amanda]1 Dress. It includes sizes for Altamura Sofia, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. There is also a 10 texture HUD so you can change up the look, and some are extra revealing like the sheer one I chose on the right :) I was quite drawn to the style with the high side slits and crossed straps in the neckline, too.
Next we head over to Rogue Echo, who are currently offering a generous trio of Stay at Home Club gifts, starting with this {RE} Lapus Mini. The bold blue color is accentuated by two triangular cutouts in the front which are filled with sheer sequined fabric, while the back view is completely solid satin. Our gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Signature mesh body sizing.
Another fantastic gift you will find at Rogue Echo is their {RE} G Zoa Gown, with its snowy white color and flattering shape that leads to a small train. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies.
If you would prefer something casual, allow me to introduce you to this charming {RE} Paisley Outfit which is also a gift from Rogue Echo. The solid purple pants are a fine match for the lively pattern on the top.
For my final look of the evening, we head to the We Love Roleplay event (open until the 30th of August) where you will find this beautiful Entice - Lady of the Sea set. The top has been crafted from a pair of shells, while the shorts have a scaly texture with a fishnet ruffle on each leg, pun intended? :) The set also includes a headpiece to wear across the forehead, which is mostly hiding beneath my bangs, but it is unrigged and has a resize script built in. There are 8 varieties available individually for $245L apiece (marked down from $350L) or you could choose the fatpack for $599L with 2 bonus colors. In addition to all 10 colors, the fatpack HUD lets you change the color of the components separately, the main texture of the top and the sparkly trim where they join, and the fishnet can be colored separately from the shorts. The navy blue on the right (yep another ocean pun) is one of the two fatpack exclusive colors. Every single one of them is breathtaking!
It has been a slightly better day here, although I do have some more healing to do yet, but I am trying to keep up with my usual activities as much as I can. Hiya everyone! Tonight I went for a bit of variety, starting with some Stay at Home Club gifts. These are free to everyone, no group tag needed, and are a very thoughtful way for many of the designers in SL to help lift our spirits during these trying times. I am so grateful that there are such generous and caring people in our wonderful community :) Then I stopped by the Fable 5 shopping and gacha event, Once Upon a Time is the theme so we have some creative takes on that. I am pleased to show you an exclusive sale item from there this evening, found at the [Ari-Pari] display. Lots of exciting things to see tonight! My title is a random song that popped into my head earlier, combined with imagining these looks as being ideal for a sunny summer day.
Northern Sky Creations has changed their Stay at Home Club gift to this terrific NSC Picnic Dress, a long strapless sundress with all sorts of seasonal treats on the fabric's pattern. It includes sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. All that fruit looks yummy, and now I want a smoothie ;)
The summer fun continues with this gift from Solstice, their Stay at Home Tropical Bikini. The slightly tilted top and dramatically dipped bottom each come in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. I already loved the pattern, then I saw the rear view and got a look at that toucan, wow! You can also see a toucan's head on the top towards the lower hem, but the rear one was more noticeable I suppose.
I also visited The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co., where I happily claimed their Stay at Home Club gift called California Tee. It says California Dreaming on the front, against a backdrop of palm trees in a blue heart, for an attractive effect. The gift includes standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. One suggestion I have is to pair it with your favorite jeans, as I have done here with the Delizio blue which is one of several colors in their marketplace fatpack freebie. All their colors come in system/BOM layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega.
*twirls around in a circle, giggling* I will never get tired of floral patterns, since there are just so many possibilities...color combinations, types of flowers, there seems to be a type to fit any mood. This gift from -Paradiso- called strapy mini dress Lara is delightful for my current mood :) As the name indicates, it is designed for the Maitreya Lara mesh body (their only body to date, so if you have a Maitreya body, this is the one!) with straps that connect behind the neck, leading down to the edging around the back. The style straddles the line between edgy and feminine, and I am here for it.
My final look of the evening is the exclusive from [Ari-Pari] for the Fable 5 event, their gorgeous Rosabella Dress. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with matching hair roses that have a built in resize script. Just as handy is the included HUD to choose from 5 colors for those roses, and 5 colors of the rosy pattern so you can create your perfect pairing. The color I chose for the roses on the left above would look just as pretty with the dress's texture on the right, thanks to that purple hue of the greenery. The high-low hem is a real head-turner too, giving a flash of thigh especially when walking. This fantastic look can be yours for just $175L, if you head to Fable 5 before the end of August. You can even try out a demo first to ensure it fits you just as nicely as it fits me :) I do suggest demos in general before purchases whenever possible.
I am headed to an early appointment tomorrow, so I will not be able to blog tomorrow evening. I will take the day (night) off and return on Wednesday evening with more free and affordable treats for you to enhance your wardrobe with, as we all deserve to do from time to time. I have even been sifting through some older inventory to see what I can live without, and I have been amazed to find things from 2012 or even older still hanging around unused. I kept a few things for sentimental reasons,especially if a creator is no longer active in SL, and have been amazed at how many memories these outfits brought back. The next folder I attack will either be shoes or hair, both pretty hefty segments of my inventory. I found shoes from before mesh feet existed, and even if I loved them I don't think I can find a way to wear them anymore. Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a look at a few more gifts for the Stay at Home Club, since there are still plenty available with no group tag required and for absolutely free. It warms my heart to know that these designers are willing to offer such generous selections to cheer us up during these troubled times, and I appreciate each and every one of them. There are various categories on their website, so be sure to check to see if you are interested in any of those besides the Apparel I am sharing :)
MI.CO has a versatile gift for us, their long sundress called Summer Rose. The dress comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies, with a 10 color HUD. I love having so many options!
If you desire a more formal gift, how about this beauty from [Wildfloverr Design]? It is called Rose Sexy Gown Dress Rose, and comes in a vibrant pink color in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The dramatic slit in the front reveals just enough leg, while the keyhole opening in the back and cleavage-baring neckline show off some skin too. The store also seems to be known as Wild Design, so you might see it referred to as either on the landmark or packaging.
Next we have a cleverly designed outfit from AlaFolie called Veronique, which is actually their 4th Stay at Home Club gift :) I have blogged others, some of which are still available if you missed them when I first posted those. Meanwhile, Veronique here includes the top, skirt, and waist band (labeled buste, ceinture, and jupe) in standard mesh sizes plus Maitreya, Slink Physique, and Tonic Fine versions, with panties (culottes) in a system/BOM layer. I wore all the components on the left, and took the waist band section off on the right so you could get a peek of how it looks as a two piece.
There is something so alluring about red leather, then adding a leopard patterned belt just takes this look over the top! It is our gift from oneKingdom called Buckle Belt Bodysuit, and all I can say is WOW. You can claim this treat in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, so it can hug your curves too.
For my final look of the evening, I shimmied into the gift from GeMyles (at their new location), their Chemise Dress & Heels. The heels mentioned are for Slink feet and I am sporting my Maitreya body/hands/feet, so those had to stay in the folder unworn for now. That's okay though, I am loving this dress! It comes in fitmesh standard sizes for classic avatars, as well as versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. There is also a color HUD with 32 choices, most of which have a metallic sheen as you may have noticed above. Each button on the HUD will tint the dress and shoes at the same time.
