Fabulous Freebies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was feeling the urge to visit some FabFree in SL participating stores, because there are always wonderful new group gifts being added all the time. The group (inworld representation of their amazing blog) is free to join, so these won't cost a thing :) The FabFree group has a permanent place among my group slots, and I am so grateful for how they have guided me all through my SL experience which will be 19 years in a few days. (Wow!) You never know what treasures you can find on their blog, so I do recommend it for everyone who enjoys saving money in SL.

Our first visit is to FTCOR, where the :::FurtaCor::: Andy Set waits for any FabFree member. The tube top and laced pants are each provided in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, and there is also a HUD that offers 15 colors apiece for the top, top laces, pants, and pants laces. I love the ability to mix and match, and the flashes of skin make this a flirtatious treat indeed.

I feel so adorable in our gift from :.C!L.: Boutique called Nephele Dotty White Sweater Shorts & Bow Set :) The polka dotted sweater falls just above the belly button, and is a loose cozy fit that is suitable for most times of the year. Paired with the pleated and cuffed shorts, we've got an elegant yet playful outfit that does make me think of autumn evenings. Each of these will fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. Of course the sunny yellow bow I'm wearing here on my head is included too, and you can even adjust it by clicking it to access the resize script.

Another fun way to turn heads is by wearing the Violet Skies - Anja Dress Blue Gift like I am here. Shiny tiger striped blue fabric is already a fantastic start, but then we add the draped chain belt and get va-va-va-VOOM! The style of the dress is essential too, and this one has a bare back and sexy cutouts, so we get to show off cleavage. There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu sizes included in this great gift.

The "VOOH" FABFREE GROUP GIFT #20 DRESS is my next look, a stunning minidress with spaghetti straps and a deep neckline. The gift includes sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 40 texture options, some solids and plenty of intriguing patterns in loads of fun colors. 

My final look of the evening is our .:FlowerDreams:. Nadia dress. This is a great choice for a hot date, or to attract a hot date ;) It is provided in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite Sizes, with panties in the same set of sizing. There's also a HUD of course, and that has 14 options for the dress and 8 colors for the lace panties. I must admit that the shiny metallic ones caught my eye first, but this dress looks good in any texture.

It was a busy day and a good evening so far, starting with a support group session that I found quite useful. It's nice to talk to people who can understand the battles against anxiety and how it affects so many aspects of life. We can feel safe to laugh, cry, and share things we can't always with friends or family. The weather is still pretty hot here, as a matter of fact it's 75.5 in my office right now which is not ideal. Shopping and Hopping

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I hope to influence your weekend plans with some more Shop & Hop SL23B gifts :) If you haven't started exploring the 24 regions yet, I think this would be a great time to enjoy the festivities. Every region has 20 stores represented, so there are 480 brands represented with discounted offers and free gifts. I keep them sorted by region, so tonight the gifts you'll see here are all from Poppy. The best way to ensure that you don't miss any free goodies is the FabFree spreadsheet that they have worked so hard to create and maintain :) The team keeps it up to date and just do an impressive job of collecting the info in the first place that I'm eternally grateful to them for it. We have some hot and rainy RL weather so if yours is similar, all the more reason to spend time in SL instead of outdoors.

First I'm enjoying the beautiful RosenRot - Leo Dress gift. I'm a huge fan of florals, and the flirty style has a cleavage cutout to match the ones in the back and the midriff. We receive sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

Leave it to FTCOR to dazzle me with denim :) The :::FTCOR::DONNA_JEANS_ROMPER::: FATPACK gift will fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. It also includes a HUD with 20 wonderful textures, some of which are shades of basic denim and many are patterned and tinted denim options. The variety makes me as happy as the denim itself, but let's not forget the crossed straps above that deep plunging back opening. 

If you've ever found a gift that was simply too cute not to share, I feel you! That was me when I tried out the Crowded Room - Chicken Plushie, which you can just add to automatically hold with both hands and give it a snuggle. Click and you'll see it squish a little, and it makes a squeak like a dog toy :) Fun fact - there are two sizes and I'm actually showing off the small here, LOL, so the large is even bigger! That's a lot of feathery fun to cuddle up with, and I'm going to make sure Xan picks up a copy for himself too. We both love the cuter side of SL like this :)

Sometimes in SL we want to turn up the heat even more, like the KiraStyle // 371 // gift of a full outfit. The dress, slip (C-string), and socks are each provided in Belleza Classic, Legacy, Pinup, Lara X, and Reborn body sizing, and there is a HUD with 5 colors apiece for the dress, slip, socks, and belt. It's impressive to me that as revealing as this outfit is, all the essentials are covered :) While I usually associate bold looks with the weekend, I also recognize that every day in SL can be weekend-like if we wish. We are creating our own realities after all, so you can be a genderless cat creature on Mars or visit the 17th century in an alternate universe. 

My final look of the night is a fantastic formal gift, the .:FlowerDreams:. Hanne gown. Isn't it stunning? The mesh gown comes in a fitmesh M size along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The flexies for left and right (attached at each shoulder in the back) and flowers for left and right sides are each separate attachments, therefore optional if you feel like wearing the gown without them. I'm wearing both flexies on the left above but not on the right, although I am wearing the flowers in both even if they are only visible from behind :) Oh, one important option is that I also added the lights that give the fabric extra sparkle and reflectivity. You can try it on without the light and then with, see what you like better for where you are headed. 

It was a warm day, but nothing compared to tomorrow so I am not complaining (yet). Dinner at my parents' was nice, and we discussed barbecue-type plans for next week. Nothing unusual, just indoor grilling and the usual sides. Swank Celebrations

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back to the SWANK event's Celebration of Colors round for June, which includes a Pride hunt to look for rainbow striped flames that look like wooden plaques, very pretty. This might be the easiest hunt you ever do, since most aren't really hidden and the ones that are might just be tucked behind a sign or along side a shelf but still visible. The bright colors do help them stand out :) Join the free VIP group and you'll be able to pick these all up for free, which is a perfect way to add some fresh color to your summer wardrobe while saving those lindens for some shopping at the event if you wish. There are plenty of terrific offers for sale here of course, and I usually pick out a couple each round to treat myself with. With this bevy of talented designers, how could I resist? :)

My first look of the evening is the playful Ahlure - Francy Outfit gift. Its dress (technically shorts romper), jacket, and boots are all included in Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. There's an outfit HUD with 9 colors each for jacket 01, jacket 02, dress upper, dress lower, and belt, plus 4 metals. There's a HUD for the boots as well, with matching 9 colors for upper and lower sections and 4 metals. Just use the tabs on the top of each HUD to change what area is being tinted. I purposely chose different colors for parts 1 and 2 of the dress and of the boots to distinguish, but it looks fantastic with everything all the same or even without the jacket for those hotter days.

Next I had some fun celebrating the season with our **SIMONE DREW PRIDE STYLE COMPLETE OUTFIT** gift from V8 Underground. The bright red tank top, rainbow striped leggings, and red sneakers will yellow trim each come in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. V8 Underground loves their accessories too, so we also receive the headband, necklace, and earrings with fun rainbow flags on each :) They are all adjustable so we can fit just about any size or shape body. 

I feel like sequins are essential for Pride month too, so I couldn't resist sharing the .:FlowerDreams:. Aisha gown - shiny gift! This full length dress has a crossed halter top and open midriff with wrapped skirt tied on the hip, showing off a lot of leg. There are 18 gorgeous textures on the enclosed HUD, and the gown is included in eBody, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. That's a nice range of older and newer brands and styles, since I know that some folks prefer to stick with the body they've been enjoying for several years and others crave the newest ones :) 

Our Ruxy-Aaminah Single Color lavander gift is absolutely ready to bring the flirt factor. Its top and bottom each fit Legacy, Perky, Perky Nerido, Maitreya, and Maitreya Domina mesh bodies. There's also a HUD included with 6 metals each for the beads (trimming the bra), leaf, and rose. I appreciate the ability to customize the decorations on this lovely outfit, and I must say that this color is dreamy too. I feel like every time I see its name in SL it's spelled differently, lol, like the region Lavendar that will probably be a part of SL23B in just over a week. Spellcheck here says lavender is correct for American English, but it's a stunning hue no matter how it's spelled.

My final look tonight is actually two of the 4 goodies I found from the same brand, as they (like many of these designers) have multiple booths at the event. The Swank & Co. Sassy Sailor Dress - Scuba is the beauty to the left above, with their Sassy Sailor Dress - Pin Up from behind on the right. Each of these include 5 fitmesh standard sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing. There are so many great details here worth mentioning, like the bow in the front/back and the double breasted style of buttons on the midriff. These dresses whisper summer, as they are classically retro and therefore too ladylike to scream in my headcanon ;) I associate dark blue and white with nautical designs, and the polka dots are such a cute touch on the Pin Up version.

It was a productive day yesterday, and I got some really tasty pizza while I was out. I got my new contact lenses yesterday, so I put them in today (after sleeping with no lenses at all to let my eyes breathe) and they are working out well so far. The left eye is only 0.50 stronger, and I totally derped by putting it inside out so I had some discomfort at first that freaked me out. You'd think after 40 years of wearing contacts, I'd know better? LOL! But the other eye is a -2.00 increase so you'd expect a drastic difference, however the cataract seems worse in that eye so very little improvement. Shrug, I'm guessing they will do the right eye first since it's worse. My gaming friend is still sick (bronchitis, ear infection, bad cough and hoarse voice) so we aren't doing our usual gaming night this week either, but with some luck the new meds will do their jobs and get her better soon. I'm still playing the usual games regularly, just having slightly less fun without random hilarious chats with her. FlowerDreams Come True

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I popped over to FlowerDreams, a brand that I've enjoyed for many years as providing high quality formalwear for so many special occasions. Their less formal dresses are equally elegant, and I was impressed by how many gifts they are offering for their group. It's currently free to join too, so you absolutely need to visit :) These are all on the wall to the left when you enter the store, go right to the gifts, then make a left to see shelves with gift boxes. There are others on neighboring walls too, simply irresistible.

Color me gobsmacked by our .:FlowerDreams:. Bette Gown group gift! This sleek mesh gown has a bold ruffle that goes over one shoulder and drops down to bare the other one, with a black mermaid style skirt. We receive a fitmesh M size along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes. There is also a HUD enclosed with 18 textures for the ruffle, all of which are wonderful choices. 

I was also very drawn to our .:FlowerDreams:. Daphne Dress group gift because of its lovely portrait collar. There is a fitmesh M size included, plus sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. The included HUD offers 12 pretty pastel colors for the subtle floral pattern fabric you see above :) I think this would be fun for a 50s era roleplay as well as just feeling extra fashionable.

The gifts can get flirty too, like the stunning .:FlowerDreams:. Ivy dress. The mesh dress fits the Maitreya body, and has add-ons of a fur skirt and a skirt with resizer built in which is the sheer section you see. Then we get to choose from 9 colors for the mesh dress via HUD. Since they're all such dark hues, you can barely tell that the one I changed to on the right above is blue ;) It's really eye catching, thanks to those fun openings, don't you think?

Next we see the playful .:FlowerDreams:. Zoe dress gift. This treat fits Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Maitreya, Petite, Signature, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh bodies. I'm sure you also guessed that we receive a HUD, and that has 12 choices for us. Most are solid colors but a few have patterns, so it is a lovely variety. The style is so flattering too, with that little peekaboo opening beneath the bust. 

My final look is a great choice to sparkle this weekend! Our group gift called .:FlowerDreams:. Lin outfit is a pairing of gathered tube top and miniskirt, each in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Signature Alice bodies. The sequined texture is an immediate plus for me, and the hot pink hues with some purple tones are right up my alley. Hope they are favorites of yours too!

Yesterday did not go quite as I had expected...honestly the eye exam itself probably went better than I thought it would, since the dilation drops didn't burn this time and the doctor was much friendlier than the prior time I'd seen her. However, she said my eyes are very healthy but I do need the cataracts taken care of. WHAT? My blurred vision was apparently due to slightly early onset cataracts and not just needing a new prescription :( They must be pretty bad if she says I should get them done ASAP, and do I even have to explain that someone with anxiety, panic disorder, and agoraphobia does not do well hearing that they need surgery twice? I looked it up and the average age is 65-70, whereas I am 55 so it is a little unusual. I had dinner with my parents this evening and told them all about it, and they were both stunned but reassuring. They had their surgeries at 66 and 64 (dad and mom respectively) and neither had any problems whatsoever. They said it was quick, simple, painless, and really nothing to worry about. I do feel a bit better, although my Sunday therapy session is going to be quite interesting as a result ;) Before that I'll go to the farmers market tomorrow since no rain to make the owner cancel, lol, and I am looking forward to that as always.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some wonderful Holiday Shop & Hop gifts to share, this time from the Gilded region. There are 18 regions with 360 total stores, all of which are offering discounted merchandise and a gift for all visitors. Since they are open until the 4th of January, you will be seeing more here again soon ;) I do show you the gifts one region at a time for organization's sake, and I also highly recommend the FabFree spreadsheet that they've worked so hard on. This can be sorted by the tabs at the bottom by region, type, or store name, so you can browse for what you most need and desire. I'm always grateful to the FabFree team, and of course to the talented designers who take part each round in the Shop & Hop events ♥. Just think, the next one will be Valentines so that'll be here before we know it!

For my first look, I'm wearing one of the gifts from ERSCH called Cirbie Suit -silver-. It has a really fun metallic texture and is gathered in several spots, making me think of space travel and roleplay :) The bodysuit, sleeves, and legs are separates in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Mounds, and Waifu mesh bodies. One of my favorite features is the heart shaped cutout in front of the neckline :)

I did mention that first look was "one of" the gifts from ERSCH, since I can't resist sharing another one of theirs as well. That would be this Flassia Bodysuit pat -green gray straps- treat, probably a nod to St. Patrick's Day based on the name but certainly not limited to it. Our suit has a high collar style neck, linked front and back with a large metal ring, above teardrop openings from each view. It fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Mounds, and Waifu mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 10 metals for those rings I mentioned. The stripes are very flattering, and the legs have the same high cut as the other bodysuit to show off the hips and some booty.

How fantastic is this dress? Our .:FlowerDreams:. Nana dress gift is both gorgeous and versatile, thanks to a HUD with 8 patterns to choose from. The dress is included in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We get a playful glimpse of cleavage through the keyhole opening, and the collar means no necklace is needed to complete the look. If anything, I would probably add some earrings or a bracelet to go with whichever pattern I choose :)

QUEENZ is one of those brands who lives up to their name, because their fashions will have us all feeling and looking like royalty :) They have 2 gifts waiting for us, so I'm starting with the .Q. Riveting -FATPACK- treat. It's got some intriguing straps and open back and sides, with a knee-length pencil skirt that has a walking slit in the back. There are Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Muneca, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes provided, along with a HUD that lets us select from 11 textures. Those are mostly solids but there are 2 lovely patterns like the one on the right above, so we have plenty of possibilities.

My final look of the night is a striking gown called .Q. Forever -FATPACK-, probably so named because you'll want to enjoy it forever ;) It is designed for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with a HUD offering 13 sweet textures. The gold glittery one on the right is absolutely dreamy for New Year's Eve, and makes me feel like an Oscar statue, LOL! Yes, that is a good thing, at least in SL where everything fits perfectly and doesn't need layers of shapewear beneath to smooth us out. I always associate gold with NYE, silver too but pretty much anything sparkly or metallic will do. Heck, even the region this gift is on is Gilded, so gold really felt right.

My day had a bit of a surprise, as my Hello Kitty gaming friend had to switch nights to this evening for our multiplayer and chat :) That was fun as always, and we helped her husband find the last of a collectible in the game that he just needed 2 more (anniversary cards). She'd found all hers a while ago, but he tends to be more laid back and less 'urgent completionist' about tasks in games. He's got a few characters stuck somewhere waiting for him to decide to finish their quest, LOL, and realizes and laughs about it every week. They are waiting in a specific area, not stuck as in midair or under a rock or somewhere weird. There is more content coming next month that will include a whole new Sanrio character named Moppu, a sweet little bear who wears a blanket like a cloak. We play on Switch which is the last platform to get any new updates though, so I expect we'll be complaining about the delays soon ;) Otherwise I'm planning on going out tomorrow to a new Aldi's that opened nearby, I forget when but it is a good reason to get out of the house and among other humans. I'll grab some cheese and beverages, and I'm sure some snacks like crackers will mysteriously appear in my cart too...funny how food does that sometimes, eh?  Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to visit the Hollyhock region of the SL22B Shop & Hop event, one of the 20 moderate regions (along with 4 adult ones) we can visit and find discounted items and gifts for all. I find it easiest to keep them sorted by region so I am sending you to one at a time, but you'll want to try to explore them all by the 20th of the month :) It's also a great idea to have the FabFree gift spreadsheet handy, to ensure you aren't missing any vital treats that you want to make sure you grab. 

My first look of the evening is our Belle Epoque - Gisa - GIFT, a top and skirt pairing with lots of possibility. Each piece is provided in sizing for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, along with a HUD that offers 6 fun floral patterns that tint the entire outfit at once. These warm months are usually full of pretty flowers in RL, and I enjoy seeing them in fashion as well.

I also adore our S&P Blue dress FATPACK gift from Salt & Pepper, which uses PBR textures so you will need to be using a compatible viewer to enjoy it fully. The strapless dress with deep V neckline will fit Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Also included is a HUD with 12 denim hues and 4 colors for the lace trim, so we can mix things up as much as we desire :) There is really something so fun about combining the classics of denim and lace, two strong favorites of mine.

Another stunning strapless beauty among our gifts is the :::FURTACOR:::SL22B_DRESS::: FATPACK. Yep, that's right, it's another generous fatpack! The gift includes sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu bodies, plus a HUD with 20 textures. We get 10 solids and 10 patterns to choose from, so I went animalistic and then cherry red ;) Some of you might be particularly interested in one with a black background decorated with familiar green leaves of a mind-altering type. 

More flowers and more summer fun in this photo! This is the gift from T'ai Surfing called Flower Bikini, and it is one of 3 in this particular booth :) The top and panty are each included in Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes. The HUD lets us choose from 9 beautiful flowers up top, and 9 textures for the bikini bottom. This one is very flirty and revealing, yet playful and nature-loving too.

My final look of the night is a perfect choice for any formal affair, or an elegant nightclub visit. The .:Flower Dreams:.Audrey Gown - SL22B Gift consists of the long mesh dress and separate sleeves to fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu bodies, along with flexi skirt pieces for left and right. The enclosed HUD offers 12 ombre color washes, that even tint the flexi skirt additions so you are fully coordinated from head to toe :) There is definitely something so lovely about the pastel colors, and I appreciate the ability to wear with or without the flexi and with or without the sleeves.

It was a frustrating day, thanks to tummy troubles and an annoying housemate. All is relatively fine now, although my stomach is still uneasy, but I didn't go out and I am not certain about being able to go tomorrow because of the weather also. Progress is not linear, and I am trying not to let this get me down for long.  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is loaded with SLMB group gifts, which is the ^^SL Mesh Body group and costs a mere $9L to join at present. There are plenty of designers who are a part of this group, sending info about new releases, sales, and events, plus many of them offer gifts for the group members at their stores. That is what I'll be showing you tonight, a handful of those lovely treats :) The only hard part would be choosing a favorite, because I adore and am so thankful for every single one.

First we're headed to .:FlowerDreams:. where the Celia Dress can light up your wardrobe, and your room ;) It's got built in lighting because of the materials involved, to ensure you can see the detailed texturing. There are 5 fitmesh standard sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. I think the pale green is perfect for spring, like bringing fresh new plant growth to mind.

I must confess that I love any excuse to visit Composer Girls Fashion, because I'm always delighted to find generously accessorized looks like this !CGF-*Satyana* Mauve/Wine Complete Skirt Outfit. Our gift starts with the cropped sweater in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, then we get to add our skirt in the same sizes plus eBody, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. The over knee boots are provided in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, and we receive some lovely jewelry too - earrings and a necklace in gold tones. The necklace has a built in resize script so we can adjust if needed. This whole outfit is so wonderfully detailed, from the leaf designs on each hip to the many straps holding our boots in place.

Next we bring some sunshine with the ART & FASHION - SURREAL GREECE LONG DRESS gift. It has a daring opening on the left side of the skirt, and a single shouldered style for added pizzazz :) There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies included in this wonderful gift. I've seen some truly beautiful pictures of Greece, and now I'm hoping to find a Greek region in SL to visit! The sunny yellow color of this dress is making me smile just as much as the artwork that adorns it.

I also visited .:Bad Rabbit:. and picked up their Outfit Neno Golden gift for SLMB. The vivid colors complement the playful style, a strapless tube top with diagonal hemline and a short ruffled miniskirt with coordinated strappy heels. All pieces are designed for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, and our gift also includes a HUD with 2 textures for each. This way we can mix and match as I've done here, alternating the solid fabric and the crushed velvet type print. Pink and orange together make me think of tropical sunsets, or maybe tropical fruits :) 

For my final look this evening, I'm enjoying the sleek [ConTrato] Athena Dress gift. Our new tank dress comes in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets us pick from 5 colors of striped patterns. The blue makes me think nautical, but I do like them all :) I'll always appreciate the versatility of color or texture HUDs, so one free gift becomes several at once.

It was a quiet day here, and I'm trying to plan an outing for tomorrow that is turning out to be a hassle and a half somehow. I must continue making progress though, essential for my anxiety. I saw the groundhog outside again, so that is another cheerful reminder of spring being here even if the weather doesn't fully agree.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some goodies to share that are free gifts with no group needed to claim, all from the wonderful FlowerDreams store. I recognized a few as previous event gifts, so it's possible that you may have some of them already, but it is absolutely worth it to grab them and check :) I say that because the styles and texturing are fantastic, and well worth a place in your wardrobe.

My first look of the evening is their .:FlowerDreams:.Nicki Dress, a strapless mini with ruffled skirt and a bonus layer. The dress comes in a fitmesh M along with sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous bodies, plus the bonus I mentioned is a sheer prim skirt layer that works with any of the dress sizes. That adds a little bit of movement since it is made of flexi panels that flutter when we walk or move at all, and we can easily wear the dress alone if that is preferred. As for the textures, there are 10 choices on the included HUD that also tint the prim skirt add-on as well, so you can see that the translucent flexi is teal on the left above and darker on the right. Versatility is such a plus in SL, don't you think?

.:FlowerDreams:.Meli Dress is a similar idea to that first gift I shared, thanks to having a flexi underskirt we can add to the main mesh dress if we wish. This cutie comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing, with a HUD that offers 18 texture choices. I wouldn't be surprised if the floral patterns are a nod to the store name, or if it's simply the designer's personal preferences, but either way I'm a happy little magpie seeing the pretty flowers.

Next I changed into the lovely .:FlowerDreams:.Zoe Dress. This flirty strapless mini dress has a peekaboo midriff opening and some soft ruffles, while fitting close to the body to flatter every curve. It comes in sizes for Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Maitreya, Petite, Signature, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh bodies. There's also a HUD that provides 12 textures for us to select from. Many are solid satin colors, but I was in the mood to show you the subtle swirled pattern in deep green on the left, and the sequined beauty on the right is another hallmark of this brand just like the flowers from the first two photos. You'll see...

This playful look is our .:FlowerDreams:.Lin outfit gift, and I am absolutely a fan of the style, colors, and sequins! The top and skirt will each fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Signature Alice mesh bodies. They are both gathered in the middle for a ruched appearance that shows off a little added skin. Those large layered sequins remind me of those pillows or shirts that you run your hand along and the sequins flip over, to change the color or even reveal an image :)

One final look of the evening, the .:FlowerDreams:.Amber dress has the sequined sparkles to bring you right on into the weekend! There are sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The included HUD has 10 textures, all of which are various color combinations of the pattern you see above. I feel like it's something the designer knows they do well, so it is recognizable as their fine work :) It also really complements the simple style of strapless tube dress, making the sequins the main focus.

Whew, what a day...I had been concerned about the weather for the evening, but I wound up losing power for several hours in the late morning (about 10:30) with a generator that is low on fuel. That means no AC and as little use of electricity as possible, like no tv or opening the fridge. About 1000 people were affected by this outage which is much higher than we usually see, being in the suburbs, and my parents said they saw several traffic lights out when they went to a store a few towns over. The rain wasn't even all that bad when it arrived, so I'm grateful for that :) Meanwhile I stayed home all day, no dinner at my parents', but I have plenty of food and the housemate is going to the farmers market in the morning.  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is all about the gifts from the Lavendar region of SL21B Shop & Hop. As I've mentioned before, this is part of the 21st birthday of Second Life, the shopping part ;) But all 480 participating designers (24 regions, 4 of which are adult) are offering gifts as well as selling selected merchandise for discounted prices, so it is a must-visit for anyone interested in saving some lindens while finding high quality fashion, decor, etc. I'm always excited to dig into these events, and FabFree has thoughtfully put together a spreadsheet of links, gift images, and color coded them by type so you can find exactly what you need. The celebration has just a few more days left, so be sure to visit by the 21st!

My first look of the evening is the [MSN Design] Lina Dress [FATPACK], a generous gift indeed. This lovely halter mini dress is softly gathered in the front and has a flirty plunging neckline. It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 20 colors each in solid or subtle texture (looks sparkly!) as seen on the left above. It really looks terrific in any color you select in either texture :)

In the midst of a RL heatwave, all I can think about is how great it would feel to be in a nice soothing pool somewhere, so now my avi can enjoy the same in our *SM* Gift 21 SLBD from Second Moon. The bra and panties are each provided in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Maitreya, Reborn, Juicy Boobs, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with lots of magic in the HUD :) That offers satin, metallic, and wet texturing, with solid/sheer/off options and laces choices 2/1/0 which affect the beads shown on the ends. By the way, if you turn the texture "off" it leaves behind a glowy tan line instead of any fabric, very sexy! If I recall correctly, I'm wearing it as solid satin on the left and sheer wet fabric to the right.

Since I enjoy mixing and matching, I kept the bottoms of the Second Moon bikini on and added a different top - the EVIE - Tender Crop Top - GIFT. This flirty little number has sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included, as well as a HUD with 30 colors each for the top and the strings. I chose a couple of hues that mimicked the bikini bottom a bit on the left, then went rogue on the right, LOL. Since this will pair beautifully with your favorite jeans, shorts, pants, or skirts, you can easily match it to anything you want.

The .:FlowerDreams:. Lore Dress is a beautiful nod to the store name with its myriad of floral patterns. There are 12 via HUD to choose from, as well as 12 coordinating colors for the chain belt. That fun belt and the dress itself are each designed to fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, and Reborn bodies. The dress looks just as pretty without the belt if you prefer, although I personally enjoy having the edgy double row of chain links in a slightly contrasting hue.

My final look tonight is the AlaFolie - CELESTE gift, which contains a pair of full-length dresses in bold colors. The noir and rouge (black and red, both seen above) versions each come in sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Senra Jamie mesh bodies. That last body intrigues me as I've never tried it on yet, but it is in all of our inventories in the library section automatically so one of these days I really need to give it a whirl :) Both colors have a golden yellow polka dot pattern, and the flowing style is a nice choice for a formal event in the hot weather. We can easily dress this up or down with the jewelry we select, and even the hairstyle we wear can make it look more fancy or casual.

It was quite a day, more so than I anticipated actually. I went to the primary care doctor for the 3rd time ever so far, and I asked if she thought we should switch me to a different medication since the first try isn't sitting well with me. She agreed and prescribed something else, so when the pharmacy has that ready in a few days (delays, sigh) I'll be immediately switching to that. The heat was just awful, and I had a fair bit of anxiety from that as much as being in the car. Once I got home, I seemed to lose any sense of bravado from being 'in public' and basically fell apart. There were many tears and much frustration, but I am feeling a bit better emotionally tonight :) The heat is still getting to me, and the next two days are going to be even hotter so that is just something I've got to figure out how to deal with for now. I urge everyone in the hotter areas of the world right now to check on friends and neighbors who might not be coping with the temperatures as well as we'd like to see. If they lose power or their air conditioner/fans aren't working, it could really be dangerous for them. Not trying to worry anyone, just want to spread a little message of caring and reminding you to look out for each other ♥.
