ACCESS Happy Weekend

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some more ACCESS group gifts from their Happy Weekend Anniversary event, all claimed by clicking the cutest kittens sitting atop cupcakes at most of the displays :) Who can resist the serotonin from the kitties and the virtual sugar rush from cupcakes? However the best part is the amazing gifts, which are here to celebrate the 7th anniversary of Happy Weekend. The ACCESS group whose tag we need is free to join, and the event is open until the 30th so there is plenty of time to grab demos and do some shopping too.

I'm starting with the striking {eternal dream} sordidus set {white} gift, which is one of my favorite casual outfits I've picked up recently :) The top and bloomers are both snowy white and trimmed with ruffles and bows, loose but gathered to create a very flattering outline. There are sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and they are separate pieces. That is especially noteworthy for the next two photos as well ;)

The bloomers helped me share our //Rowers// Top Amaya Fatpack gift, which will pair wonderfully with your favorite pants or skirt too if you prefer. Its halter neck shows off just the right touch of cleavage, while the fluttery skirt is short enough to make our legs look long and lovely. My stomach is still fairly unhappy, and no I did not eat any raw veggies recently so it's not that scary bacteria thing that's going around. As much as I enjoy salads, I've been focused on cooked veg lately to protect myself, and soup is a fantastic way to enjoy them. That worked out nicely for a mild meal tonight actually, chicken and pasta (acini de pepe like you'd find in Italian wedding soup) with carrots and celery so it was a simple and nourishing meal. I'm planning on going to pick up my glasses before dinner at my parents' tomorrow, as long as my guts allow me to be in a car that long ;) Otherwise I had a good evening gaming and chatting with friends, a typical Thursday with giggles and sharing cozy games. Still Celebrating Cosmo

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to head back to the Cosmopolitan Event for their 13th anniversary, second round of the month. It's a part two with all new group gifts, so it is very much worth revisiting if you stopped by earlier in the month. You'll need their free group tag active, and click any of the wooden crates you find for your treats :) Their rounds are brief, but they bring the heavy hitters of SL designers to provide impressive sales offers, and this time of year there are plenty of group gifts for us to enjoy as well.

My first look comes from Via Fulo and is their Starla Dress Gift. The bold yellow made me think of sunshine, but perhaps also because of its glossy texture :) We receive sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. If you look closely you'll see that the skirt is rather sheer, but also that there are panties built in so we do have some privacy for our nether regions. I'm still dazzled by the vibrant color, and I am not even usually that big on the color yellow but this hue has captivated me.

Next we're getting a little provocative with the Faida - Gia violet gift :) This is the type of bodysuit for when you are celebrating a special occasion and offering yourself as the gift, LOL, as it is revealing and tied with a huge bow in the front. There are Gen X Classic, Camel Kups, Camel Toy Kup, Camel Toy UP, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes included. I honestly don't know what a few of those are, my first time seeing a size with the word camel in it, so it's either new or just new to me :) Besides the bow, my favorite part of this would have to be the color, since I am a purple fan in any hue.

Sometimes fate brings a terrific pairing among the many gifts for an event, as with the top and jeans you see here. Our Carol's Store- Brianna Crochet Light Blue gift is a sweet halter top with carefully woven lace and a solid weave for the bra cups to provide proper coverage while being a warm weather delight. The unpacker HUD offers Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Momma, and Reborn mesh body sizes. Just deliver what you need and keep the HUD for future reference if you wish :) I balanced out the bare skin up top with the [Flirt] Kali jeans-CosmoGift, classically styled with front and back pockets and a slim fit in the leg. There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies included. The washed denim in soft brown looks so cozy, and this combo makes me think of the sky above and the earth below. 

The charming #SHOOSH - Viktoria Dress & Corset is a playful treat in two pieces that are each a different shade of lush satin. The red dress and white corset each come in Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, and the dress can be worn without the corset layer if you choose. Both have golden trim, the side zipper on the dress and the corset's loops that look like piercings, plus the corset zipper that ends in a pentacle shaped pull :) Anyone else have a hard time recalling which is the pentacle and which is a pentagram? I've got to remember that pentacle and circle end in the same few letters, hence the pentacle is the one with the ring around the star.  I do love that type of tool to remember random things.

My final look is the Orphic + badders' suzie ballet dress gift, with a quick explanation of the name. The current store brand is Orphic, and there is a notecard enclosed that says that badders' was their prior store name so that's why you see both names here. This dress is steamy thanks to the very short bubble skirt, in sizes for eBody and Legacy mesh bodies with a HUD offering 8 colors. Because of how brief the hem is, I added a pair of panties from the marketplace - Lilbird GIFT Simple BOM panties, which come in several colors and are a free gift. Naturally by the time I chose my poses and took the pictures, I realized that the panties are barely visible even though when I first tried the dress on I could see...well I almost want to quote Kate McKinnon and the alien abduction skits here for a snarky way of saying my entire private areas front and back ;) I'm still listing the panties in my credits, and warning you that you may give someone quite an eyeful if you go commando somewhere in this hot dress. For some that's a feature and not a bug, so go get 'em tiger!

Usually I do outings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but since my appointment yesterday was an outing I am doing Monday and Wednesday this week instead. The result of course is confusion, since I seem to thrive on consistency and routine. My plans tomorrow are so early that there is a slight chance of it interfering with my blog schedule, meaning if I cannot get my booty in gear fast enough I may have to skip tomorrow evening. I'll be short about 4 hours of sleep, so my body might decide I need to use blog prep time for resting instead. Otherwise it was a good day, more adventures with Hello Kitty and her cozy game, and I am looking into a few potential things for upcoming blog posts. Dubai Event Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are helping the DUBAI Event celebrate their 5th anniversary, which is done in traditional SL style with free group gifts for all :) Their group is free to join, and the group tag lets you click the gift boxes at nearly every display to claim a gift. There are several that were set to the wrong group this morning when I was there, so I'm hoping they have been fixed by now but no guarantees...however there are still lots of generous gifts that I gratefully picked up and I am not complaining about the few that I couldn't claim yet. My number one rule is gratitude when it comes to free gifts, as I fear that the designers would be disheartened and stop offering anything for free if people are rude about them. The Dubai event just opened very recently, so we have a few weeks to shop and get these wonderful treats.

My first look of the evening is the Lowen - Bangkok Dress [Neutral] gift. This flirty halter dress has bold cutouts and a plunging neckline, and is provided in sizes for eBody, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. There is also a HUD as you can guess, with 12 choices which are 6 colors each with silver or gold embossing. There is so much versatility here, and I love the floral pattern in both metallic tones ♥. Neutral certainly does not mean bland, and this dress is a wonderful example of that.

Another hottie halter dress is the gift from Carol's Store called Samantha Dress Red. It is a deep crimson bodycon dress with gathered bodice and skirt, hugging every curve while covering all the essentials. The gift comes in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Momma mesh bodies. Fun night out, here I come!

Next we have the Via Fulo Etta Top and skirt FatPack, another extremely generous gift that caught my eye. Each piece fits Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and there is a HUD for each. The top's HUD has 12 colors each for the top and the straps plus 2 metals, while the skirt HUD offers the same 2 metals and 12 colors each for the skirt and built in panties. The top and skirt are both designed for maximum sex appeal with the openings on the bra cups and the deep V waistline.

Sokiro is offering their playful Yanely Dress - Fatpack as a Dubai group gift, and I am delighted! There is a bunny plushie on the front eating some ramen, with DARLING on a red banner beneath. The top of the dress is held loosely in place with halter strap and crossed back straps, with a simple skirt that is short enough to turn heads too. We receive sizing for Belleza Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with 6 skirt colors to select from. The black skirt choice gives a seamless appearance of just the single color, while the various other hues provided fun pops of contrast. Please share the information with your favorite male avatars that there is a men's sweater included in this gift box as well :) 

My final look of the evening is the striking **BOBBY MACGEE ROYAL COMPLET OUTFIT** gift from V8 Underground. The royal in the name seems to be the bold shade of blue, so gorgeous! The gift consists of the top (bra), shirt, and pants that each fit Legacy, Perky, Pushup, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy bodies, with matching heels for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn feet. The shirt is entirely fishnet, so without the bra top it is quite see-through, like the sides of the pants. When all pieces are worn together, all the essentials are covered while still being very alluring :) You may need to adjust your hover height to take full advantage of the platform base of these tall stilettos, most visible on the right above.

It was another quiet day at home, trying to find a little inner peace to soothe the anxiety. I have a home blood pressure machine and my blood pressure has been distinctly elevated the last few times I checked (149/91 was this morning, eek) but that is a common anxiety symptom. Fingers crossed that it doesn't stay elevated like that for too long. Otherwise I am looking forward to the opening of SL20B and its Shop & Hop, 10AM to the public but already available to their group members. I'll be exploring 24 regions packed with sales and gifts, woohoo! I've been eagerly anticipating this for months, and am just so impressed by the 20th birthday of our wonderful virtual world. 11 Years of Cosmo

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting round two of the Cosmopolitan event's 11th anniversary, where the celebration includes free group gifts in wooden crates at most of the designers' displays. The Cosmopolitan group is free to join, and what better way to stay informed about the twice a month, two week long event rounds? There are exclusive offers, discounts, and much more in every single round, from top designers you either already know and love, or are about to get introductions to in the best way :) If you visited the first round of April and claimed some of the group gifts, most of these are new (either different designer or same designer but new gift) so please feel free to visit again as all of the sales offers are new too.

My first look this evening is the stunning KR MAEVA DRESS -GREEN- gift from KENNY ROWLANDS. This lovely satin dress has a sheer black corset type layer for the bodice, with the satin gathered and draped to accentuate the bust. There are sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies included in this thoughtful gift.

Next I combined two gifts for one breezy summer look. The top is our eXxEsS : Top No. 6 black gift, a halter with crossed straps in the back and a fun bared midriff. I love the subtle embossed texture that looks like tiny sequins :) As for the flirty shorts, they are the Galagher - Flavia Short Fatpack gift and are quite versatile. Are we ready for Wednesday and the middle of the week? I feel a bit frazzled but not quite sure why. I tend to startle easily, so you should have seen me flinch and make a weird sound when I turned on a light earlier and the lightbulb blew out with a loud pop...I jumped like it stung me or something. How To Look Fabulous

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was in the mood for variety, and decided to explore the FabFree group gift listing for ones that I hadn't shared yet but were not the most recent. This way you can pick up the gifts that might be closer to the time when the designers will swap them out, so as to not miss out before they are gone :) The FabFree in SL group is always free to join, and their blog is as wonderful as their group which is why I've been a huge fan of both for many years. They keep us informed of sales and events, help us find gifts, and even organize hunts a couple of times a year that I adore. Of course it helps that many of my favorite stores are participating designers, most of whom also offer gifts for anyone wearing the "I Am Fabulous" group tag.

My first look this evening comes from The Annex, and is one of several gifts in boxes on a very low shelf so just look for a grey box in front of the FabFree rainbow logo. This is called Gia Dress FATPACK, and there are 6 colors each in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes. I'm wearing dusty rose on the left and mint on the right, and our other choices are beige, blue, gray, and lavender. Those are some great color options, and the tiered style is so pretty with the sequined layer and slender matching belt. 

I also visited Sweet Serenity Designs, who are currently offering multiple gifts for the FabFree group, including this flirty SSD LOGANAH DRESS BROWN. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies included. The long sleeves are a fun contrast to the short hemline and cutouts on each side.

Another alluring gift is the ::SS:: Dress Sarah (Wine) from Saussi. This strapless mini is gathered in several places and has a bare midriff with ruched straps crossed both front and back for extra visual appeal. It was a quiet day here, but the evening is getting to be a bit tedious since my stomach is not at its best and I'm feeling extra tired. Gifts From Dubai Event

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to invite you to the Dubai Event, whose October round has lots of pumpkins with free gifts inside. It is open until November 10th so we have almost two weeks remaining, so that is plenty of time to visit and pick up demos along with those sweet treats. I always enjoy events where I can become familiar with new-to-me designers, while scoping out new releases from longtime favorites. 

First I slipped into the [Flirt] Teona dress white, a charming gift with slender straps that is gathered on the left side. It includes Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Signature Alice sizes, all with that delicate white polka dot pattern. 

The *Flamingos* Lucidity Dress Orange gift is an extremely seductive one, with very sheer fabric and a low neckline that does not cover the nipples but cradles the breasts. It comes in sizes for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD offering 10 color choices for the lace/threads and waist. The HUD makes this gift both sexy and versatile!

Next we have the [[2Love]] gift of Gal Jumpsuit / Black, with a single long sleeve opposite a bare shoulder. The sleeve fabric seems to have found its way instead to a sash on the right side, bringing an intriguing sense of balance. This gift includes Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, all in that satiny black texture.

For a high quality corset style top, be sure to claim the gift at the Via Fulo display. It is called Callie Top Black and comes in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. For my final look, I am sharing two gifts that are nods to this spooky season. My evening is much more interesting than my day was, as I am watching a hockey game out on the west coast. The score has been very back and forth, so it has been an exciting one for both teams' fans. Temptation and Fall Festival

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have treats from two different events to share, starting with the DUBAI event where there is a Temptation Hunt. We are looking for free apples, like the one Adam and Eve were tempted with, and some are at the displays but others are in more out of the way places (think trees, bushes, etc.) so you will have to look around very carefully. The event and hunt run until the 10th of October, so you have time to explore. Another don't-miss event is the Fall Festival at Malus Park, which I will be showing you plenty of selections from during its tenure until the 15th of October, starting tonight with a free gift. 

My first look is the Via Fulo Ann Dress Pink, found for free in an apple at DUBAI. This vibrantly colored mini has a separate chain that acts as a choker linked to a belt, and each piece comes in Kupra Original, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. There is also a HUD with 4 metal choices for the chain, so you can adjust to suit your tastes. Since they are separates, you can wear the dress without the chain if you wish, so it is held in place by the crossed straps in the back and a touch of SL magic.

Seniha has a free prize for us too, which is their Selena Dress // Black in 3 versions. I am wearing v2 on the left and v3 on the right above, while the original is a solid black also trimmed in lace like the polka dotted and pinstriped varieties. All are included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. 

I also found this Karina Dress (Red) in an equally bold red apple by [SEYMOUR Garment]. It is extra flirty with the sheer bodice and short fluttery hemline, and the prize consists of Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizing. Temptation indeed!

Next we take a look at the [Flirt] Zoi overalls-Fatpack prize, found in another free apple. It includes sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, with an 8 color HUD so you can pick your favorite hue. The casual style has a slightly loose top that gathers to the slim fitting knee length pants, with a V neck and pocket detailing in the front of the pants.

My sneak peek from the Fall Festival at Malus Park is a free gift, courtesy of Applique` Chic. They are all perfectly autumnal, yet I could easily envision wearing this any time of year. 

I am making plans for the upcoming weekend, and it is not particularly exciting but at least now I know what I am doing for dinner tomorrow. My parents will be at the birthday gathering for my grandmother (it's my dad's birthday too) so they can't do dinner as we usually do on Fridays, but my Saturday farmers market plans are on :) It is supposed to be decent weather, unlike earlier when I lost power twice from thunderstorms.
