Midweek Quickies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have two places to visit, both of which have limited time offers including free gifts :) Our first stop is Brilliancia, whose group is currently free to join and there are several group gifts available with that group tag. From what I understand there will be a fee to join (again?) soon, so please don't hesitate if you like what you see. Their sexy style certainly caught my eye, and they are in the same building with So Pink who also has a free group and two gifts on the back wall with the Brilliancia gifts. Both stores are offering gift cards towards the middle of the store, but the Brilliancia one did not deliver to me and because it's no-copy I was unable to redeliver it. As for our second stop, that would be The Makeover Room event where there is an array of beauty offers to enhance the look of your avatar. There is also a free group with a gift from Entice for its members to enjoy. This month's is a very alluring design in a terrific color :)

My first look of the night is the Brilliancia - Dress Nataly Full Pack, a darling strapless dress with full layered skirt that makes me think of flower petals. There are sizes for Freya, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies included, along with HUDs for the dress and straps (the lacing in the back) offering 8 colors each. I found that the Maitreya size was too snug on the breasts which were poking through in places I couldn't quite alpha out with the body's HUD, so I lowered the breast size of my shape to get a better fit. It happens from time to time with outfits and I just keep the modified shape in the outfit's folder so it will be handy when I need it. 

Next I changed into the Brilliancia - Set Irma Full Pack group gift. The halter top and wrap skirt with lacy inset each have a bow accent that really tie the look together (pun intended, bow + tie) and will each fit Freya, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies. There are 3 different HUDs included, with 10 choices for the top and skirt each, then 2 metals for the top's neck strap. Two of the 10 fabric choices are metallic, so I went all gold on the right to show it off :)

This alluring look is the group gift called Brilliancia - Set Elen Full Pack. We receive the open wrap dress and lingerie set (bra and panties linked to wear as one) in Freya, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizing, and each have a HUD with 8 colors to choose from. I love the way the rear view reveals the back of the bra with that deep opening, much like the front bodice. Slip out of the lingerie for an extra surprise, or peel off the dress to show off that bra and panty combo!

The Brilliancia - Set Anna Full Pack gift has plenty of eye-catching details to liven up your day or evening. It starts with the strapless bodysuit that has a delicate embossed floral pattern, then we can add the flowers and a layer of sparkles for the flowers (seen both left and right above because I couldn't bear to take either of them off LOL) and each of these fit eBody Reborn, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies. Then of course there are HUDs to create the full pack part of the name, 10 choices each for the bodysuit and the flowers (labeled metals). The 3D roses are fantastic, and the short shorts are just the right length to be flirty while balancing the bare shoulders and plunging neckline.

My final look this evening is the Entice - Vision of Love - Wine, a striking lingerie set that is our group gift from The Makeover Room until the 26th of the month. The babydoll is sheer with frills on the straps and hem, which are solid satin like the cute thong. Both pieces are provided in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. I managed to catch a glimpse of my avatar giving some serious bedroom eyes on the left side of the picture, and can you blame her? The long fluttery bow and its strands drape gently in the opening of the babydoll, which makes me wonder if that is ticklish ;) 

It was quite a busy day as I'd expected, but the chiropractor visit and the x-ray went well. I couldn't remember how many views were in a standard hand x-ray, so I was a little surprised that it was 4 which felt like a lot. Still it was quick and simple, with a friendly technician who made sure I was comfortable for the brief session. This particular medical center is in a failing mall, quite possibly the only thing keeping it afloat, which is sad since I have memories of going there way before we even lived in the area with my parents and my godmother who recently passed away. It's weird to walk past nothing but empty storefronts between the food court and the medical center, although I saw a couple stores open around the other corner. I used to be quite a mall rat as a teen, hanging out at least once a week with my high school best friend at one, so there are happy associations. Shiver Me Timbers

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we briefly switch gears to explore the Shiver Me Timbers hunt from Cheeky Monkey Events. There are $1L prizes as well as $25L and $50L exclusives, with each designer offering whichever of those they choose to fit the fun pirate theme. This is in celebration of International Talk Like a Pirate Day on the 19th, although the event lasts until the end of the month. The designers got to flex their creativity, and we get to benefit while saving lots of lindens!  I am also wearing several new lipsticks from Entice, and will be showing you a closer look with all the details on how you too can enjoy these by visiting The Makeover Room. 

My first look is the $1L Khari Skull Halter prize from Adore Amore Fashion. This breezy top is tied on with several slender straps, creating a lovely rear view as well as the pretty skull-adorned front view. The prize comes in sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite mesh bodies. 

Next I am delighted to show you two of the 3 exclusive prizes you can find at The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. :) Just be sure to follow each hint to make sure you are tracking down the correct pirate hat for each one. The tank top on the left above is their PIRATE REDHEAD Tee, yours for just $1L and reading "Pirate Redhead ARGH!" above and below a skull and crossed swords. My first thought when skull and crossbones is mentioned is not usually "beautiful", and yet the style of the (TSB) Shiver Me Timbers Dress prize from The Sissy Bar is easily described that way. There are two different styles of the skull and crossbones on the fabric of this bare shouldered dress with fluttery short skirt and detached ruffled sleeves, and the pops of red certainly influenced my lip color choice (more on that below)! The gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and a classic fitted version for the classic avatar fans. Like all of these prizes, it is worth far more than the very affordable $1L price.

In tonight's photos I wore selections from the soft palette in 1 and 2, bold lips in 3 and 4, and this one has 2 soft and 1 bold. All are stunning, and if you prefer to purchase only one or the other you can find those for $199L each. Usually I am drawn to glossy lips (RL and SL) but these velvety matte hues are making a believer out of me. Also variety, I am a huge fan of having a dozen different options that encompass warm, cool, and neutral colors in each applier.

It was a quiet and rainy day here, so a very tame start to the week :) That is not a complaint, as the next couple of weekends are going to be very busy and the weeks in between might be as well. Peace is exactly what I need whenever I can get it. I really need to get my hair cut and colored before the birthday party in less than 2 weeks, it's been like 10 months and I look haggard to be perfectly honest. The salon was closed today so I will have to make the appointment tomorrow, no idea when my usual stylist can take me but fingers crossed that it is soon. High Tides and Good Vibes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features some hunt prizes from the High Tides & Good Vibes 2 Hunt, sure to get you ready for a fun summer. There are $1L prizes plus $25L and/or $50L exclusive offers at each location, all hidden in pretty little seashells. Please follow the landmarks and hints on their website to find the correct prizes in the cases where there are more than one in a store. The preview images there will tempt you and inform you as to what each shell holds, making your hunting and shopping easier. I do enjoy that aspect of Cheeky Monkey hunts, having exclusive offers that are still quite affordable in addition to those dollarbie hunt prizes. We are also visiting The Makeover Room for a free group gift from Entice there, since their gifts are always worth picking up :) 

My first look of the evening is a flirty bikini from Starlight Apparel called .{SA}. Marva Queen Bikini. This $1L hunt prize includes the top and bottom each in sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. There are a variety of crown styles in gold and white shades on the pink background for a regal touch, and I really like the way all the top's straps are gathered in the back and tied all together. 

I also picked up the female prize at AmAzInG CrEaTiOnS, their Female Jacket Jerkin 4. The wrap dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya body sizes, with 2 HUDs to fully customize your look. There is a fabric HUD with 9 choices, then a color changing HUD to tint your selected fabric if you wish by clicking a color wheel or inputting an RGB code. You can always tint it back to white to get the original texture's coloring back if you prefer. Now I did specify female prize because there is also a dollarbie male treat there, as seen on the hunt's website.

The Sissy Bar is reliable in their participation in many hunts with their quality prizes like this (TSB) High Tides & Good Vibes Hunt outfit. The top and shorts each fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. The buttoned floral blouse is opened just enough to show off some cleavage, and the denim shorts are a great length of "short but not too short" in my opinion :) Did you notice the fun logo stamped on the back right pocket? This cute casual outfit is going into my regular warm weather rotation for sure.

Next we have the $1L hunt prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. which is in one of three seashells here, just follow your hints to find each one you wish. This one is called KINDA SWEET Tee, and is emblazoned with "Kinda Sweet Kinda Savage" speckled with little stars. Purple always makes me happy, and most of the time I am more sweet than savage ;) Right, Xan??? We all have our moments of course. My final look of the evening brings us to The Makeover Room, where there are plenty of cosmetics to enhance your avatar's beauty at discounted prices. Since I have not taken the plunge into EvoX territory yet (which leads to investing in compatible new skins, etc.) I am focusing on the thoughtful group gift that is courtesy of Entice. That would be the wonderful No More Top - Aqua you see here, provided in both the solid and the lace versions seen above. These are each designed for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, held in place by shoulder straps and a third one that loops around the neck like a choker before attaching in the center of our cleavage. No need for a necklace with this great style! With this top and the one in the prior photo, I am wearing the white pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace fatpack. Wow, what a weekend! The weather played a huge role, as the rain came with stronger winds than anticipated so my farmers market trip was mostly a bust. Their tents were being blown about and they closed early, while my ride got us there late so most of the vendors were already gone for the day :( It was frustrating but I understand their focus on safety, and really wish the owner had the indoor area cleared where it used to be held. Then everyone could have moved inside and been comfortably sheltered from the weather. He feels that it gets more attention being outside though, thus taking away the fact that many people (myself included obviously) loved the fact that it was the only year-round indoor market that helps those of us who are sensitive to extreme temperatures. The rest of my weekend was spent trying to relax, and catching up on a few random household things. I hope you all had a blissful weekend, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Entice and Let It Snow

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have a gorgeous group gift and several hunt prizes to see, starting with a visit to The Makeover Room. This event is organized by the Entice store, so they generously offer a group gift for each round that is usually clothing from their fashion line. They do create makeup looks too, so be sure to stop by their regular display at the event while exploring everyone's hot offers :) Then I took a stroll along the Let It Snow Hunt path, an adventure seeking pale blue snowflakes for $1L each by following the hints on their website. The landmarks for all participating stores are on there too, with preview images for most of the prizes, so you will need to have it open while you hunt. Winter fashions can be so much fun, although not all the prizes are exactly bundled up as you will see.

My first look is the charming Entice - Just a Dream Dress - Magenta, which can be yours for free with the group tag from The Makeover Room. Just visit by the 26th of the month and you can claim this vibrant dress in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies as well as a fitted version for classic avatars. I really like the long sleeves and dainty collar, and the buttoned corset style waist.

Then I started hunting by visiting Wiccan Wears, whose snowflake holds their ~WW~ Dara Patriotic 2 Romper for just $1L. It has a really deep draped neckline and high cut legs, with white stars on the red top and red stars on the white stripe. Next we see the Sophie dress red from Jasmine clothing, whose FabFree group gift I shared here recently. This deep crimson strapless dress comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The gathered tiers are a playful detail, and the color looks like it gets darker on the way down like an ombre or gradient.

I also found the snowflake at The Sissy Bar, so I was able to claim their (TSB) Let It Snow 5 Hunt Outfit. It is a single piece with the appearance of a sweater and short skirt, in sizing for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies along with a standard fitmesh version. I have always liked the combo of gold and white, and this beauty makes me feel like a modern day Cleopatra.

Changing of Colors

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore the Changing of Colors 5 Hunt, which has us looking for an $1L orange leaf at each participating store. There are preview images on the hunt's website which we can click for the landmark and a hint, so you will need to have it open while you are hunting. I also have a free group gift to share from Entice that you can find at The Makeover Room, which actually goes with the theme if you think about changing colors and makeovers ;) It is in one of my favorite colors so I was immediately drawn to it. 

My first look of the evening is one of two hunt prizes at ~MystRie~, the COCH5 Autumn Walks outfit. It includes the coat with top (built in) and jeans each in fitmesh standard sizes plus versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The boots come in Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Tonic sizes along with an unrigged pair so you can adjust as needed, and there are alpha layers for each component so you can hide your classic or BOM-compatible bits very easily. The other prize for men is an Autumn Walks outfit too, but is not exactly matchy-matchy as you will see from their website. I like them both, together or individually!

I kept the MystRie jeans on to show you the SOH Magick prize called Love The Fall Shirt. SOH stands for Silver Oak Hollow, and it is a fun place to visit :) The layered shirt has lots of fall flavor with the pumpkin in the center, all the word surrounding it, and autumn leaves on the long sleeves beneath. Next I visited ::REA:: where I found their leaf that contains men's and women's prizes. This of course is the Womens Fall Outfit, a fun tie dye sweater and distressed skinny jeans that are each provided in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body versions. The male outfit is a similar sweatshirt and jeans pairing that will look great on your favorite guy.

The Sissy Bar has a prize leaf waiting for us too, and for just $1L we can claim their beautiful (TSB) Changing of Colors Hunt 5 roll neck dress. It has an attached low slung belt whose neutral black really brings out the crimson of the crushed velvet. The prize includes standard mesh sizes and a Maitreya version which is the one I am wearing here. I certainly look ready to hit the town!

Carola and The Makeover Room

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post has lots of free treats for you, starting with the part two of the Carola mini hunt at The Free Dove. This half is the 5 prizes found in the balloon bouquets hidden at the Carola mainstore, which you just need to find and then touch with the Blessed by a Dove group tag (from The Free Dove's group) active to pick them up for absolutely free :) I am so grateful to Dove for bringing back these monthly mini hunts, and to all of the designers who participate and help us look beautiful. There is also a HUD so you can change the color of the dress and the flower, each of which has a grid to click for infinite color possibilities. I am also delighted with the Carola Japon hunt prize, a sheer bodysuit with solid satin ruffle and sleeves. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am continuing the Wash Cart Sale coverage, since there are plenty of bargains still to enjoy. Their Cool N Crisp round is open until the 22nd, so you have time to explore and grab demos to help you decide on your new autumn wardrobe additions. I am also continuing along the Womenstuff Hunt path, as there are over 130 participating stores so it is quite an impressive list. The prizes are hidden inside red t-shirts with green and brown stripes (see photo on the hunt website) so be sure you are finding the correct one :) Many stores still have previous gifts around in red/white or solid red shirts, either from the May 2019 hunt or older, so be sure to follow the hints from the website to find the right one. I felt like I needed something extra for my look, so I am also enjoying the Makeover Room offer from LIVIA to liven up my eyes. More details in the photo descriptions of course :)

My first look consists of selections from two different carts at The Wash, starting with Steel Magnolia Design and their *SMD* Penelope Dress. This lovely halter dress with eyelet lace ruffled skirt comes in sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 15 color choices. This is one of the $25L offers at their cart, and is not the only one to include a HUD for that added versatility :) Their mainstore link can be found here, and the ending credits will bring you directly to their cart as usual. As for my jewelry, I am wearing a $10L treat from Luminesse called Stiarra Sehar Set, which includes earrings and matching necklace with their Options Plus feature. This means that clicking any piece will bring up a menu with resize, full bright, shine, and more, so you can adjust these for the best fit and look to suit you. Luminesse is one of the many fine designers to make their home on The Wash sim, and their cart is very close to their mainstore so you can visit both in one trip.

As I started trying on Womenstuff prizes to show you, I must have been feeling particularly daring, because I chose to photograph the $1L Classy N Sassy prize without wearing any pants! It is not the most revealing thing I've ever worn on here though, not by a long shot, so I don't expect anyone to be horrified or anything :) It is their (CNS) Power Hoodie, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. The shade of pink they chose is so charming, and a nice backdrop for the glittery gold words "Never Underestimate The Power of a Woman". I make it a point to try not to underestimate anyone, but especially the amazing ladies in my life. My first instinct is to pair this with jeans, but if I come across a pair of pants in plaid or a pattern with a similar hue of pink, that would be even better.

See, I do get even more risque! This fun look is our free prize from Vaxer, their Unity Outfit which is a single mesh piece in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. There is also a HUD provided with 10 colors for all, the belt, or the tights, so you can choose an "all" color then change the other parts from those sections if you wish. The silvery chains and buckles look terrific with any of the color options, and I think a nice pair of ankle boots or heels will complete this look well.
