Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to feature a few Stay at Home Club gifts, since they are closing their website on the 25th and all the participating stores will have the choice to take the gifts down at that time. The deadline is creeping closer and closer, so it felt like time to switch gears back to them :) I really do admire the organizers as well as every single designer who offered gifts throughout these long months, to lift our spirits through difficult times. It is a compassionate effort and I believe it helped our SL community to focus on the safety of the virtual world we all enjoy so much. My time in SL has always been a haven and often an escape from harsh realities, and even more so lately. These gifts are completely free, no group needed, although some stores use vendors that we have to pay $1L and get refunded so the system keeps track of it for redelivery purposes.
My first look of the evening is one of two gifts at Cats Claw Designs, their dazzling CCD_Jocie Wrap Dress Black Gold Twirls. This halter style mini comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and even a standard M for classic avatars. The lace trim adds an extra flirt factor, and the golden waves are a beautiful touch.
Cats Claw Designs is also offering this charming _CCD_Ava Corset Mini Dress for all visitors, and it is quite versatile. The dress itself is provided in eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique sizes, plus a standard fitted version. The included HUD offers 23 textures for the dress and 6 for the belt, so you can have fun mixing and matching. The extra short flared skirt with asymmetrical hemline can be a bit cheeky from behind, so you could layer leggings or jeans beneath if you wish, especially in the cooler months.
My next stop was Rogue Echo, where I was delighted to find another new gift for a total of 5 generous treats for the Stay at Home Club. This is the {RE} G Lily Wrapped Mini, and it comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The wide sage colored belt holds the dress closed perfectly, and I really like the soft floral pattern.
I also visited Luvdiva Fashion again, where I found a new Stay at Home Gift named Josie. She includes the top and skirt each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, plus the coordinating tied platform heels for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. The pink and white block pattern certainly caught my eye, as pink is a favorite color of mine.
For my final look of the evening, I chose one of the two currently available gifts from +Uni Boutique+, this one being their Spring Dress - Green. It has a beautiful embroidered lace inset in the neckline, and a playful slit on the right thigh. Our gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. Hiya everyone! Tonight we start our weekend at the Sun-Sational Summer Cart Sale on The Wash sim, one of my favorite seasonal events where we can find bargains of $50L or less from dozens of talented creators. The streets are lined with carts, packed with fashions for the whole family and home decor among the genres so you can freshen your wardrobe and living space without breaking the bank. I also have some more Stay at Home Club goodies to share, since these fine designers are still offering gifts to cheer up those of us who are mostly isolated in RL for safety. Their kindness is one of the things I will take away as a positive among the troubles, the silver lining we all deserve to find. Honestly the regular events like the Wash cart sale help too, consistency in an inconsistent world I guess, but I do feel a sense of comfort from the SL events that are still reliably there.
My first look features one of the wonderful choices from the Dreamz cart at The Wash, their DCI Arrlina with HUD. This dress has a unique and flattering style with the crossed straps in the back and the X in the front that reveals small sheer panels on each side of the waist, and a short fluttery skirt. It comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with an impressive HUD to choose from 35 textures (25 solids, 10 patterns). I'm sure I have mentioned before how much I appreciate it when a dress or outfit comes with matching footwear, making me especially grateful for this Stay at Home gift from *It's Gau*. The details really appeal to me here, like the distressed spots on both the dress and the boots, and the various cutouts making the boots look like they are crafted with straps on the sides.
For my final look of the evening, I have paired the two Stay at Home Club gifts from PopCorn which come together to create one very eye-catching outfit. Their Mel Top - Blue Skull and Mel Skirt - Blue Skull are each provided in versions with or without materials enabled, sized for Alice, Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The skull pattern is subtle at first glance, being shades of the same color, and the black strips and waistband accentuate things nicely.

Tonight I decided to share more gifts from the Stay at Home Club, as the number of participating designers continues to grow and I really wanted to acknowledge the thoughtfulness that has gone into this. No group tag is needed, just visit each store and look for the "Stay at Home Club" sign with pastel rainbow lettering, then find your gift. First we visit CatsClaw Designs (at The Wash sim, just like my favorite cart sale!) and pick up their gift called CCD Mesmerize Mini Dress Satin in Teal. It is provided in standard mesh sizes for classic avatars, as well as mesh body versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. It is an alluring style in such pretty colors!
Next we see the two gifts from -Ema's Secret- which are the brown and red versions of their flirty Ceejay Dress. Each includes sizes for Alice, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The short strapless style has a unique neckline with that fun notch to draw attention to our cleavage.
I have a lifelong fondness for denim (probably from being a kid/teen in the 80s) so this gift from MONOMANIA suits me to a tee :) It is called Manda Sky and consists of the tube top and very short shorts, each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. I was intrigued by the slit across the front of the top, and the pointed rear hemline of the shorts.
I also visited Sass, and claimed their [stay at home gift] top and panties, seen above. The shirt really spoke to me, "Actually.I Can." as it made me think of the "I. Can't. Even." saying and meme. We may be tempted to think that way these days, that we can't even, but the truth is we CAN get through this :) We have all the good people in SL where it is safe to interact, until our first life gets more stable. Okay, so the inspiring top and delicate pink panties are each provided in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing.
For my final look, I stopped by Zickenkiste where I was delighted to claim their gift, Janny (Set 2). The blue on blue has a tiny, very subtle pattern on the skirt, while the yellow has a bold teal chevron design on its skirt. The county in which I live released a video (initially a live feed that I missed) of 5 officials each in their own homes, talking about what we are doing to stay safe and get through this pandemic. I spent at least 5 minutes thinking one of the men had on a really unusual giant bow tie before finally realizing it was a face mask pulled down, LOL! Way to go, Dawn's brain...of the other 4 people, one (a nurse) was wearing hers the entire time but the rest did not have one in sight. I don't think we need it in our own homes, so it was probably just for the video. Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a look at some more fashions found at The Wash Cart Sale, as their exciting Crisp N Cool round is still going strong. The carts have $10L - $25L selections as well as an optional $50L special offer each, so these are top quality items at deeply discounted prices. You can enhance your autumn wardrobe and decorate your home for the season while staying within a reasonable budget. Another event that won't drain your linden dollar balance is the Womenstuff Hunt, whose current round lasts the entire month and has well over a hundred participating stores. Follow the hints on their website and you should be able to locate the red t-shirts with green and brown stripes (careful not to pick up any older solid red or red/white ones that are still hidden) and claim many fantastic prizes, some of which are exclusive to this hunt.
First stop of the evening, the {Poeme} cart at The Wash has 8 colors of their Argyle Sweater Set for just $25L each. I am enjoying the Violet version on the left and the Palm on the right. They are single mesh pieces in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a fitted version. On the right I added the free gift found at the cart, their {Poeme} Fall Stripey Wool Scarf. It is unrigged so I was able to adjust it slightly by editing it, and it will surely look lovely with plenty of other pieces in my wardrobe but does look striking with this particular set. My final look of the evening is the Allison prize from Wicca's Originals, and is yours for free when you find the hidden t-shirt. It consists of the pullover, scarf, vest, and pants, each in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. This is another one of those versatile looks with all the coordinating pieces, so you can wear without the vest one day and without the scarf another day, then omit both of those for a third different look. Quick makeup note: I was inspired by a video I watched recently, as I am wearing a beautiful skin from 7 Deadly that has subtle to no makeup as part of its look. I decided to head to alaskametro<3 and pick up a few testers, which are fully wearable demos, to see what might liven up my look. I really liked the "Daytime" palette testers, which are the eyeshadow 02 and lipstick 03 from the handful of each that are part of the full set. I am wearing the BOM tattoo system layers, but the tester includes appliers too. I was initially looking for one or the other, eyes or lips, but these are just right when worn together. Added to my to-do list: go back this weekend and purchase the full set.

I feel like there is something for everyone, and the prices are hard to resist. I also have some lucky board prizes from **milky-way, a store at the Kiyomizu Mall that has an entire wall of lucky boards for their group members. My first look comes from the Aaric's Design cart at The Wash, one of their $25L selections called AD - Bikini & cover-up blouse color change. It consists of the bra, panties, and robe, each in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, all with that cool plaid pattern. There is a notecard to tell you how to adjust the colors, but basically it boils down to right clicking each piece and selecting from the menu that pops up. I was drawn to the texture and sheen of this gown, and noticed that the belt buckle goes very nicely in either metallic color. A visit to the **milky-way store will show you how well they treat their group members, once you take a look at the back wall and all those terrific prizes in the lucky boards. One of those generous gifts is this *16-09 T-shirt & Summer Dress - Check Pink. It comes in a single mesh size to fit sizes XXS - M, but with a little alpha adjustments to your mesh body it can work just fine. the pink gingham pattern is so sweet for spring or summer, isn't it?
Another prize from the lucky boards is this cozy looking *16-16 Knit Dress Fitted Mesh LB, which comes in a fitted mesh size and a Slink version. The cowl neck and long sleeves made me think of those spring evenings where the temperature drops a bit, so a lush knit like this is the right choice. You can always add leggings beneath if you feel the urge.

On the left I'm wearing their *AS* Melanie Fairy Green Glitter, on the right is Melanie Fairy Red Glitter, each only $10L. They come in sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, with panty liners (like panties with no sides) in the same mesh sizes. I love the knit pattern on the leggings, and how the sweater and boots color complements the pants so well.
Another week has slipped away, and one of the final weekends of the year is here for us to enjoy.
