Gifts for Designer News

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're taking a look at several Designer News group gifts. As you may already know, the Designer News group is a multi-designer group that is currently free to join, so you get lots of helpful info in one place. The group notices are packed with updates about sales and new releases, and many participating designers offer gifts for the group in their main stores :) I spent some time exploring, and am pleased to show off what I found!

For my first look I visited ***Sunflower***, where their DRESS FATA PINK is our generous free gift. This charming one-shouldered mini dress has sheer sections down the bodice an open midriff in the front, with a fun strap that acts as a belt. Our gift includes Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes.

This lovely choice for a warm summer day is our ::Leibah:: Kohtah Bikini silver and green v1 gift. Its bra and bottom each come in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The silvery strips have a sparkly texture that really caught my eye, and the style is flirty yet on the modest side.

Next I've got another terrific bikini to share, our {Le'La} Aika Swimsuit Gift. The animal print adds to the flirt factor, and I've always been fond of the string bikini's classic style. We receive separate bra and panties here, each in Erika, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes.

The [Sexy Princess] Nancy Jumpsuit is a playful look in bold cow print, with bare shoulders and three jauntily tied ribbons - one on each upper arm and one around the neck as a choker :) It's all in one easy to wear piece, which comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies.

My final look of the evening is the .YIA. Xena Bodysuit TOFFEE treat for the Designer News group. It's got some serious hardware with all that golden metallic trim, and I'm really enjoying the cutout in the back! There are eBody, eBody Reborn, Erika, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes included in this thoughtful gift. 

I haven't have very good luck with my teeth over the years, taking after my dad's side of the family in that regard. So I shouldn't be too shocked that my dental visit yesterday will be having a big unpleasant follow-up next week, a redo of a root canal and crown on one of my upper molars. I am already worrying and fighting my anxiety, so it is going to be a long wait till Wednesday. Meanwhile I am trying to keep myself distracted as much as possible, and I am grateful for Xan's patience and support as always :) He is dealing with a big adulting type issue at the moment too, so we are quite the pair. TeleportHub Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight felt like a night for variety for some reason, so I popped on my TeleportHub.com group tag and did some exploring :) The group has a $10L fee to join, very minimal and worthwhile for the helpful info and of course the group gifts. Many of their participating designers have goodies waiting for the members at their stores, and most of them are using the frame style group sign that must be provided to them :) I am always grateful for the notices from this type of group for tips of what's new in SL shopping, and we can always turn them off if we prefer to read them in the group's profile instead if the volume becomes too much. Those extra group slots we were given sure do go quickly, huh? 

My first stop was +Psycho Barbie+ where I found the sexy [Vivian Dress - Fatpack] as our gift. This strapless mini has a daring diagonal hemline that dips from high on the left hip to just above the right knee, in sizes for Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The HUD offers 15 texture choices, several of which are various colors of the one you see on the right above with crosses and a band of matching lace around the right hip. For day to day wear, you'll probably want to add some dark colored panties for modesty :)

I also grabbed the beautiful [Sexy Princess] Melania Set Pink group gift. Its top and skirt are each provided in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. The pink panties are built into the denim miniskirt, and match the corset-like top very nicely. Such a fun look for spring, which will be here before we know it :)

Next we get to shine like a gem in our TOG STORE . Narika Set gift. The bodycon dress has an attached belt, and comes in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Prima, Prima Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There's also a HUD enclosed, with 10 color choices each for the dress and belt. I was feeling like contrasting the belt here against the dress, mostly so you could see it more distinctly in the photo, but it is going to look fantastic no matter how you prefer to wear it.

This gift also reminds me of spring because of the gorgeous blossoms :) The I.M. Collection Teleporthub Gift is a simply named halter dress whose skirt is gathered on the left side and tied to dangle down the thigh very playfully. The halter straps crossing in the front really accentuates our cleavage, and the floral pattern is in such soft hues that it makes me think of watercolor artwork. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies included.

For my final look of the evening, I am feeling formal yet flirty in the Belle Epoque - Ophelia GG. Isn't there something just divine about a strapless gown with bold slit to show off a lot of leg? :) It is cut low enough at the neckline to reveal a bit of cleavage and to highlight your favorite necklace if you wish to wear one, and thanks to the enclosed HUD we can pick from 12 lovely colors. The dress comes in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. 

It was a relatively quiet day, and Mondays aren't usually much to write home about anyway.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I really had the urge to explore the grid and some familiar haunts, so I found a few gifts for the TeleportHub.com group that I'm very pleased to share. The group has a small $10L fee to join, which keeps out unsavory types like spammers and scammers, and there are lots of participating designers who offer gifts as well as share their latest news (group notices) about sales, new releases, and events. I've been a member for ages now, and have gotten used to looking for their frame in stores I visit that surrounds a group gift and has buttons to join and visit the website. Just look for those, and give the picture of the gift in the middle a click :) I love multi-designer groups for the variety of stores who take part, and there are always some fantastic treats.

My first look of the evening is the [LRS] Ronika Top/Leggings gift, which is one of 5 available for this group at this generous store :) The cropped turtleneck top and snug leggings with wide waistband are each provided in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The tie dyed pattern is intriguing in monochromatic white and shades of grey, and how fun is it to have a solid pant leg to contrast against it?

I randomly picked another of the TeleportHub group gifts here to show you, this time going very colorful in their [LRS] Cateline Set HUD outfit. The bra top and fluttery panties will both fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Peach, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD with 5 texture options for each piece, which all have a coordinated solid color that automatically tints the trim, straps, and bows. Very pretty! The prints are similar to plaid, or at least geometric stripes, and I am a big fan.

If you're getting ready for cooler weather, be sure to grab the [SS] Jolye Dress TeleportHUB Gift from SpicySecrets! This treat is more savory than spicy, lol, meaning it is on the modest side with long sleeves and pretty rounded collar. Our JUMO Originals - PRECIOUS Dress Polka gift is a great wardrobe addition for those of us who have plenty of 'little black dress' type frocks, but want something slightly elevated :) The single shoulder strap is a great detail, and the pencil skirt hugs our curves in a way that makes me think old Hollywood glamour. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Signature mesh body sizing. What a wonderful gift!

One more look for the evening, we have the [Sexy Princess] Kara Dress gift which is a gorgeous way to wrap up the post. This halter dress has a bold opening in the cleavage area as well as most of the midriff, giving the appearance of top and skirt held together by a single round golden link in the front. It was a frazzle kind of day, so I am running behind yet again, and struggling to remain positive after a housemate issue with broken promises and an irritating argument. Tomorrow is supposed to involve an outing (with said housemate) so I'm dreading the likelihood that I'll have an even more aggravating day to be honest. Fabulously Free

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring along the FabFree group gift trail, which means visiting some amazing and generous designers who are part of the FabFree in SL blog/group family. The blog has been a source of assistance and inspiration for my entire second life, and I am an enthusiastic fan who loves reminding everyone to check their blog regularly and of course to join the group so you can grab these gifts :) They keep the group gift list very well updated, with dozens and dozens of treats at any given time with more added frequently, so I could easily feature them once a week or more and never run out of things to blog. If any group deserves a permanent place among our precious group slots, it is this one! So pop on that "I'm Fabulous!" group tag and join me for an adventure...

My first stop was BE BOLD, where the name of their Gift #5 may or may not have had me humming Mambo Number 5 ;) It is a flirty dress for the Maitreya mesh body that has an asymmetrical hemline and some slashed cutouts across the back. We also receive a HUD with 3 color choices, with the one not shown being a lovely bright pink. Options always make an already pretty dress or outfit even more special, don't you think?

Time to get snuggly with the .:Bad Rabbit:. Nyasha Sleepwear Set Teddy Bear Dark group gift for FabFree! There are long and short versions of the top, as well as thong panties and full length pants that all fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. Also included are the bear slippers for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, Kupra, and Legacy flat feet, and 4 versions of the eye mask - over the eyes or atop the head, each with or without a bow. The clothing all features an adorable print adorned with teddies, and I like the ability to shift from cuddly to sexy with the thong or the short top which is lifted to reveal the left breast. Yep, that is why I have my back to you all while wearing that one ;) Of course, that served to show off my bum, so modesty is all relevant I suppose. 

So there are little black dresses, and then there are little black dresses, like this tantalizing [Sexy Princess] Maritina Black Dress. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and has panels down the front and back that are joined by slender strips across the bust, waist, and hemline. I think a C-string would be very handy if wearing this in public, since most other panty styles would show through, and just about any type of accessories you like can coordinate nicely with the neutral black hue.

Next we visit ::REA:: whose FabFree group gift is currently this playful Constance Sparkle swimsuit. Its intriguing style covers the essentials while baring plenty, so it can certainly bring the drama to any beach or pool look :) There are eBody Reborn, Erika, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Prima Busy sizes included, along with a 6 color HUD. The choices are all flecked with white sparkles, which I think adds a charming touch to the pretty pastel hues. My final look of the evening is the stunning EVENING IN PINK GOWN gift from ART & FASHION. It starts with a strapless mini dress, to which we can add the ruffle skirt either with or without transparency (the transparent version is shown on the left above), all of which fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. It made me think of those wedding gowns that convert to a shorter version or at least have a removable train, for freer movement to dance and socialize at the reception :) The color and the bold flowers call to mind a certain popular fashion doll, whose movie I am still eager to see when it is possible to do so from home. This is another location where the gifts are free but need to be 'purchased' for $1L which is refunded to you immediately, creating a transaction history in their records. This probably means it can be redelivered if you ever need it to be, since sometimes things in SL get wonky as we all know.

Well, I was able to get my Genus head update delivered from the HUD they sent out to their new group, so no need to struggle getting into an overly crowded sim/region :) I think there will be a bit of a learning curve or at least an adjustment to switching back to it after using Lelutka for over a year...I misunderstood the update and it was not to Evo X compatibility but a totally different third option (counting standard SLUV map, that of its predecessor and classic avatars as the first) called 4K BOM. It can be used with the original non-Evo-X skins by default, toggled back and forth via the HUD, but I've found that most recent skins and makeup are only for Evo X. So I'm still wearing Lelutka as you can see, and will wait patiently to see what SL's talented skin and makeup artists create :) SL is always evolving in various ways, so this is just another example of that and I am curious as to how it will shake out. Fabulously Free Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am wrapping up March and cruising into April with some amazing finds from the FabFree in SL group's gifts. Their listing of gifts can be found on their terrific blog, and their inworld group is always free to join so these treats won't cost a thing :) This is one of the groups I will never ever leave, as it's just a staple of my SL habits to peruse the site and look through the group notices for all the details of sales, events, and special offers. I usually go down the group gift list a ways to show older ones that you might have overlooked, so we all get them before the stores decide to swap them out for something new. They seem to add gifts nearly every day though, so we will never run out of generous stores to visit and I am grateful to every single one of them.

First we see the LEXU - DELLA OUTFIT GIFT, a full outfit that looks just right for a casual weekend outing. The top and pants are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous bodies, with boots that fit Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Slink, and Tonic feet. The cropped short sleeved top has a camo print, and our cargo pants have a drawstring waist and a snazzy golden pocket chain. 

Spells & Charms To Go really brings the magic with their [S&C] Irena Dress (fatpack) gift for FabFree. This tank dress has a diagonal hem that rises all the way up on one side, and a built in collar of the same denim fabric as the rest of the stunning dress. We receive Freya, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes, along with a 6 color HUD so we can change the look. The lace waist and cute heart on the front pocket are such charming details, aren't they?

Do you need a new little black dress? Trick question really, as we could all use a classic wardrobe staple like this in any style that tickles our fancy :) This is the [Sexy Princess] Hannah Black Dress group gift for FabFree, and it is a sleek fitting halter mini. There are sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies included for us to claim for free with that FabFree group tag.

I have a soft spot for the D!vine Style store, as the owner/designer is my landlord, but also because their fashions are always so wearable and definitely my style. This is their FabFree gift called Brielle - Top & Skirt, and it has beautiful pink flowers on a dark background. Each piece comes in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP body sizing. The separates can be worn individually so you could mix them with other wardrobe items (jeans for the top as an example, or a simple tee) but I love them together :) The style of the top caught my eye, the way those straps beneath the bodice cross in the front and then meet up in the back just below the petite zipper holding things together.

My final look of the evening comes from Black Angel and is their lovely ALISSA DRESS GIFT. The style and colors just feel like spring to me, with the loose fitting top tucked into the high-low skirt that just flows with gentle pleating. The gift includes Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. As for accessories, I think I would keep those on the light side like maybe a simple bangle or choker, matching earrings, and some summery sandals. Naturally I'd love to hear how you decide to wear it, as I am sure your way will look just as wonderful since it will be your personal style.

I had a pretty good day overall, and enjoyed visiting with my parents for dinner. Tomorrow is the farmers market, and then my housemate's unpleasant guest arrives for the weekend to watch Wrestlemania and other assorted sports. REDEUX Event Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have a very limited time event to visit, the Black Friday & Cyber Monday by REDEUX sales event. There are 4 little buildings with lots of great designers set up in each, with discounted offers and even a gift for the Synergy group which is free to join. That is what I'm sharing tonight, a sampling of the many generous gifts we can find in cardboard boxes at each display :) The event is only open until noon SL time on the 2nd of December, so we have a few days of shopping and free treats remaining.

My first look is one of two gifts from Faida, their Tammy strippable red. This dress comes in sizes for Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD that has nice (fully clothed), sexy (one bared breast), and naughty (bare breast and raised hem) settings. I am wearing the nice on the left, and the naughty to the right, but I realized that the skirt was lifted high enough to reveal a bit more than I anticipated LOL, so I plopped a white heart on the picture in photoshop. That is not part of the dress at all, just a little editing for modesty on my part. The deep crimson shade is a real show stopper too!

Our other gift from Faida is this lovely Pearl candy dress, a satiny long sleeved beauty with lace inserts and hem. It also fits Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies, and is very flattering with that ever so slightly sheer lace and the lilac color of the satin.

I also claimed a thoughtful gift from **Sexy Princess** which is calledLeticia Pink. It consists of the top and skirt each in a standard fitted size as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. The strapless top and the skirt hem are each adorned with a ruffle that has a fun floral pattern to go with the soft pink color. 

Next I changed into the Patty Top - Pink from Uncontrollably. This slender tube top is provided in standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. There is also a HUD included with 10 different word choices, like the "taken" and "awkward" I've displayed here. That vibrant hot pink color looks wonderful against the black text and trim! I am wearing my favorite Delizio jeans here too, the black pair from their free fatpack on the marketplace. There are system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega in several denim shades.

Finally we have the AtaMe - TeaseMe Flower Skulls Latex dress, a gift that absolutely lives up to that teasing part in the name ;) It looks fairly conservatively styled from the front, then we turn around and see the revealing back view complete with full moon. It comes in Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Flat sizes. The skulls wearing floral crowns gave me a Goth or Day of the Dead vibe, like darkly festive. Not my usual style, but I like it!

Is anyone else coming to the startling realization that there are only a few weekends left in 2022? I'm pondering where on earth the time has gone, since it really seems to be flying by. That said, I did enjoy my weekend and am gearing up for what promises to be a very busy December both RL and SL. TeleportHub Group Gifts

Hiya everyone! For tonight's post, I chose one of the wonderful groups I am in, TeleportHub.com, and decided to share some of the many gifts available for their members. This group has a modest $10L fee to join, which keeps out bots and spammers to keep the rest of us protected. I have been a member for several years now, and have found their website to be a very helpful source of information on happenings in SL. Most of the participating designers who offer gifts are using the frame provided by the group, which has the name of the group on it and a button to join if you are not already a member. I enjoy visiting all the stores and seeing what they have to offer, and it is even more fun when they have a special gift for us just for dropping by. You might also notice I had another mood of wanting to try another hair color, so I am showing some brunette love :) 

This playful look is the [Sexy Princess] gift called Flora Romper Teleport Hub, and I was drawn to the pops of various shade of pink on the denim blue backdrop. It comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. The completely bare back means this is is the perfect outfit to wear to show off a new tattoo or just feel cool and breezy this summer.

Next I visited Munereia, where they are offering their VANO top and panty set as a teleporthub.com group gift. Each piece comes in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. There is also a HUD provided with 15 choices each, so you can change the top and panty separately. All of the patterns have cute animals on them, and have a coordinating solid color lace trim.

-LEIGH- also has a stunning gift for us, their Beautiful Dress (Big Floral). It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets you choose between 2 colors and adjust the transparency and glow on/off. On the right, I gave the dress a bit of transparency which is most noticeable if you look at the skirt where the background shows through. Sexy!

This dazzling look is the group gift from Nala Design called Estrella Outfit. The top and skirt are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Signature Alice bodies. There is also a HUD included with 14 colors to choose from for each, so you can mix them like I did on the left or match them like on the right. All the shades have a metallic sheen to them, which gives it an extra dashing feeling.

My final look of the evening is a flirty one, the BBK: Tathia Bodysuit White from BouBouKi. It includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing, with a fun strapless style and sheer midriff. The back narrows into a revealing thong, thanks to the extra high cut sides. 

The last thing I expected today was to find a huge hornet flying around my computer room, but that is exactly what happened and it was not fun. I am relieved that my housemate overcame their fears and helped me, because I was scared too. It had started to build a tiny nest inside my window, up where I couldn't see or reach, so that had to be removed too. I am on my first day of an adjusted medication dose, so that is always an adventure too ;) The new doctor actually doubled a dosage, so it will take time to get used to it. All this stuff going on, I lost track and thought it was Monday already, LOL! Confusion aside, I hope you're all having a relaxing day/evening, and many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Fabulously Free

Hiya everyone! Tonight I was inspired by reading about several new group gifts for the FabFree Group, which is the in-world presence of the FabFree in SL blog. I have been a huge fan of theirs ever since I discovered them, very early on in my time in SL so well over a decade. I have greatly benefited from they information they provide, not just because of the gifts but from learning about new-to-me designers and events or places to visit in SL. For tonight's looks, I visited their group gift listing and went with not the absolute newest but some that I had not shown you yet from longer ago so they could possibly change soon...this way you can claim them before that happens :) Some designers change out gifts more frequently than others, it is entirely up to them so there is no set time like with an event or hunt, so all I can say is that if you see something you like you should not hesitate. 

My first look is the FabFree gift from Northern Sky Creations, called NSC Arrow Tunic. This breezy dress can also be worn as a top if you decide to layer some leggings or jeans beneath, and the pattern is quite eye-catching. Our gift includes fitmesh standard (S, M, L) sizes as well as Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body versions.

Summer is almost here, although of course you can find any climate you wish in SL so you can enjoy this next gift year round :) It is the Petry Model BIKINI HSDE, a versatile gift consisting of sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is also a HUD provided with 8 texture choices, 4 of which are solids and the other 4 patterns, so you can change your look with a quick click.

YM SHOP has their pretty Sloane Outfit as the FabFree gift, and it includes 3 different colors for added variety. The dress comes in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 classic, 5 fitmesh standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink) with a cute handbag and a pair of laced up sandals for Slink High (not shown). This gift includes Black/Red, Brown, and White versions.

This tempting dress is our FabFree gift from [Sexy Princess] Called Florine Dress. I love the way it swoops up from the waist, both front and back, like a bra top connected to a tiny mini skirt. It includes sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.

My final look is a flirty one as well, the Entice Dress (Silk Pattern) from LEIGH. It has a peekaboo waist and slender spaghetti straps, and a fantastic texture. The gift contains sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with a HUD offering both colors shown above. Pink and purple are my favorite colors so it will be tricky to decide which to wear first :) The metallic sheen is quite beautiful.

Sunday Advent Treats

Hiya everyone! Today I have several Advent calendar gifts to share, all of which need a free group tag or no tag at all to claim for free. There are lists of Advent calendars on FabFree and TeleportHub just to name a couple of sources, and be sure to peek down further for the 12 days rather than full month as most of those have now started too. I am so grateful for the many designers who help make our holiday season even more special, and that inspires me to occasionally do a morning post instead of late evening so you have plenty of time to pick up these daily gifts.

Today's gifts included a lot of tops, so I was pleased to slide into my Delizio blue jeans (one of several colors in system layers, Maitreya appliers, & Omega appliers) found for free on the marketplace, to show off these goodies without going bottomless ;) This first gift is from Sexy Princess and is their Amaya Sweater. It comes in a fitmesh version along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, all with a HUD that offers 6 solid color choices. I am a big fan of cropped sweaters, and the short sleeves balance it nicely. To claim this, you will need the free group tag active (a change from the first week or so when the board was not set to a group) and to find the board, walk through the store to the back wall and turn around :) 

I had mentioned The Sissy Bar having an Advent calendar in another post while I was showing you a hunt prize of theirs, well today it is a pleasure to show you one of their Advent treats. This is their (TSB) Cropped Jumper - Christmas 3, in a goldenrod shade of yellow with beautiful ornaments tied with ribbon on the front. The gift includes standard mesh sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. Good news - no group is needed for this advent board, and they alternate with some mens' treats as well so the guys are not forgotten.

We keep the cropped tops flowing with this beauty from Entice, their Earth Song Top - PastelFawn-Lilac. Just look at that sweet sleepy baby sketched onto the front, in a ring of white accented with greenery and flora. It comes in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes, and you will need your free group tag active when you pay today's gift $1L to be immediately reimbursed. There is also a calendar for non-group members, those are $25L each and include all prior gifts of the season as well. I look forward to wearing this tee any time of year proudly.

One final look of the day, we see the Moonstar gift for the 15th which is called Red Lace Tunic and Jumpsuit. The jumpsuit comes in system (BOM) layers as well as an Omega applier, while our mesh tunic is provided in standard mesh sizes along with a fitted version and Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body fits. We want a loose, flowy fit for the tunic so it drapes delicately in all the right places without cutting into our body anywhere. 

Whew, this weekend has been interesting to say the least! Last night my internet connection started acting funny so I crashed out of SL several times before it finally stopped letting me back in at all. I was afraid of crashing again today when I visited, but it seemed much better. The hockey game last night was a real gut punch, as they usually interview a handful of players before the game or at intermissions but this time every question was "how do you feel about your teammate's cancer diagnosis?" UGH! Let these poor guys focus on the game they were busy losing (yep, another slap in the face is that we lost) and stop distracting them by getting them upset. Sorry not sorry, I am protective of young men who are dealing with a lot of pressure and adversity. Two more players were injured during the game, so we now have 7 on the roster who are unable to play. Aside from the one with cancer, we have a top scorer with a concussion, another with migraine disorder who hasn't played a single game this season yet, a broken finger who should be back soon, knee surgery out for the season I believe, and 2 "undisclosed injuries" from the Saturday game. *facepalm* Get the feeling we need bubble wrap suits and Wolverine's healing abilities?
I will be switching back to evening posts tonight, so the next one should be in about 18 hours or so. I have no idea what the week will hold, thanks to random things that need to be done before the holiday in a week and a half, but I know Thursday is an appointment that will guarantee no morning Advent blogging. I apologize if I have sounded at all cranky, I haven't been feeling well the past couple of days but am trying to cheer myself with Christmas songs and am currently singing along to Carly Rae Jepsen's version of Last Christmas on a sounds of the season station.
