The Wash Cart Sale is a wonderful seasonal event, and this Winter round is special because there are selections you can buy as a transferable gift for whomever you wish. The hunt is the Peace On Earth 9 Hunt, which I'm pretty sure I have been a hunter of since its beginning (my rez date was in September of 2007) and the prizes just continue to delight. Since the hunt object globes for the Peace On Earth hunt are textured to look like the earth, the colors in this prize from Prism actually do remind me of the deep ocean turquoise and the golden accents like the land. This is Prism Holly by Journey, and comes in standard mesh sizes for the dress and the separate belt, so you can choose to wear the dress alone or belted. I love those golden straps that dress up the shoulders, they add quite a fancy touch.
There is another prize for the ladies among the many Prism buildings (along with one for the men!) and it is this lovely Prism Ceanna Shimmer Gown by Jezzixa in Holiday. The gown itself looks to be materials enabled, as I got some lovely shine from ambient lighting in my home. It comes in 5 standard and 5 fitmesh sizes, while the satiny wrap comes in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. I think it looks beautiful either way, but being a bit chilly in RL would possibly influence me to wear it with the wrap.
I really do enjoy seeing comfy pajamas in SL, so opening this prize from Posh Pixels immediately brought a smile to my face. Their adorable Gingerbread Dreams PJ's have a well-dressed gingerbread gal on the front, and the one-piece pajamas come in standard mesh sizes. Best of all, there is a HUD included for 3 color combos as shown, so you can easily decide which one suits your mood at any given time.
Well, today went about as well as I could have expected, with some dental work that should have been done a few months ago finally being taken care of...I was mostly relieved to have that numbness worn off, such an unpleasant feeling but better than the actual pain. Now I can look forward to eating a Christmas Eve meal with the family in comfort :) I still can't believe it is almost here, but will be glad to see 2016 come to an end so we can have a fresh start. Hiya everyone! Tonight I will be showing you some more of the prizes i found from the Spooktacular Goth Hunt at the Swank event, where you will be picking up hidden dark roses all around the showroom area. They are free and there are a few dozen of them, so it is well worth the visit to see what the amazing designers have for sale and pick up plenty of prizes as well.
This first gown is courtesy of GeMyles, and is called Lori Halloween Satin Gown. It includes standard mesh sizes, and I have to admit that at first I thought the skirt had a lace pattern until I noticed ooohhh, those are skulls! Ideal for the season, or whenever your inner Goth wants to come out and play (or if your inner Goth is more of an outer Goth!) in style. I decided to add just a touch of color, a couple of drops if you will, with my blood red earrings from Lyrical B!zarre Templates. Their lovely Donna Earrings almost dust the shoulders with their long beading, such a pretty texture too.
Miss Darcy has a coatdress hidden in their rose for us, Indispensable in Engraving which is a very striking texture and an elegant style that suits many occasions. I love the attached belt too, details really do matter. This prize includes standard mesh sizes along with a fitted version.
This is our prize from Prism, a sexy mini skirt set that is delightfully seasonal, plus there is a HUD for the skirt to choose among 4 textures that each match the season. As you can see, the top has lots of buckles and is a very strappy number, while the mini skirt has an attached belt that ties in with the buckles very nicely.
We all need something sexy to wear no matter what the calendar says, and this gift from House of Ruby features a delicate design on a vivid crimson shade. You will receive appliers for Omega and Slink when you find the rose, and there is a matching mens gift too so your favorite dude is not left out.
This necklace by [ZEX] is quite a work of art, and highly adjustable to suit your size as well as your tastes. Their amazing Bellatrix Mesh Cobweb Necklace includes 6 sizes plus a separate cobweb, cross, and spikes each with a resizer menu if you need a more custom fit. Also provided is a HUD with 4 colors for the cobweb and 2 metals (gold and silver) for the spikes and for the cross, which can be changed separately so you can mix your metals too. You can take a relatively simple gown and transform it with this jewelry, so versatile.

Tonight I have some more prizes to share from the Womenstuff Hunt, the gridwide extravaganza that has 150 stops and plenty of prizes for either free or $1L for you to find in the hidden red t-shirts. Please be sure to follow the hints from their website, and since some still have previous prizes out (there was a round in March of this year along with some prior rounds) be sure to check the number of the one you're seeking. You can certainly pick up the older ones too if you stumble onto them :) Let's have a look at some more finds, shall we?
This fun casual look is our prize from Shae's Designs, called Terra Camouflage Outfit. The free prize includes the cargo pants in standard, Belleza Venus, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Maitreya, Physique, Hourglass, and Tonic Curvy, while the tank/jacket comes in standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes. Even the matching flip flops are provided in several sizes: classic, Maitreya, Slink, Belleza, and original. I'm not sure what the difference between classic and original is, but I appreciate the variety and hope they help everyone select a great fit.
Here we have two different gifts, starting with the stunning dress from Eluzion. This is their Shenika Top and Skirt, actually a single mesh piece, in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. The cuff bracelets are from Lyrical B!zarre Templates, called Leels bracelets, and they are a chic match for this dress but can also be paired with more of your favorite outfits.
I had a lot of fun showing off the free prize hidden in the t-shirt at Black Rose Designs, thanks to its texture HUD with 5 lovely color choices. This is the Summer Halter Dress and is provided in what I think of as the lucky 13 of sizes: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. I am showing 3 of the 5 colors from the HUD, although I was fond of all of them since I do enjoy pastels.
It's no secret that I am partial to pink, so you know the free prize at GeMyles caught my attention :) This is their Sherlynne Pink Dress and Heels, and includes the solid pink and pink floral versions of the delightful dress in standard, Belleza, Maiteya, and Slink sizes. The matching shoes are provided for Slink high, cute lacy sandals.
My last look of the night is a versatile bathing suit and flip flops set just right for the beach. This is our prize from Unforgettable Temptations, where just $1L lets you claim their SEXY SUMMER Outfit. The swimsuit comes in 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Maitreya, and Slink sizes, and has a HUD with 6 texture choices. The red color appears twice since one has the black bottom and the other a solid red. Our flip flops have a HUD with 5 colors (that red shade only needs to appear once to match all the swimsuit colors) and has sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink flat feet. I love the little bows on the hips.

Hiya everyone, or perhaps I should say aloha! I visited the Aloha Fair 2016 this morning, lots of goodies to see everywhere among the lush scenery of huts and palm trees and beautiful flowers. Many of the designers have placed a gift out for us, either in a big beach ball or the surf board from last year, a few even just in their own packaging, either free or $1L. I did see a few for $5L or so too. The tropical theme lends itself to so many possibilities, and I am showing you a sampling of the many gifts I picked up.
First we have a sweet retro style bathing suit from Gypsy Chic, their $1L gift for us. It is provided in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, so helpful for all the mesh bodies and various sizes around the grid these days. My bracelet is one of 12 found in the free gift from MOoH! because it is their Zodiac set of Rainbow Friendship Bracelets. I am wearing the Aquarius (waves for the sign of the water bearer) as my real life zodiac sign, I think my avi would be Libra based on an early September rez day. I love the colors and the fun styling!
Next we have another dollarbie gift, this time from Kara Baby, a flirty bikini simply called Aloha in system layers and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Omega. The pattern on the top is eye catching and very flattering, and the bottom covers just enough.
*LX* has a great gift out for us as well, their Melanie in Sea. This dress is provided in mesh body sizes only for the fair, Hourglass and Maitreya and Physique sizes, and a HUD with 6 lovely color options. I added another gift found at the Aloha Fair, the Tropicalia Necklace from Lyrical B!zarre Templates, which is a terrific offering that matches the atmosphere of the event quite nicely.
Everyone needs some nice flip flops for the season, and I found 2 fun pairs at the fair. On the left, you see the BLAM flip flops from Mutiny in Heaven, which are provided in classic, Belleza, and Slink sizes for a great fit. The pattern does indeed say BLAM on it :) The cuties on the right are Slipper Originals' gift for us, their Aloha gift in Maitreya, Slink, and TMP sizes. Those starfish are a great touch!
Sometimes we just need more cute in our lives, and Les Sucreries de Fairy will gladly provide some with their Coconut Bear gift for all visitors to the fair. She is hiding in a coconut surrounded by leaves and beneath a few flowers (Cala lilies perhaps?) but those biiiig eyes just beg for hugs! Simply add the item from your inventory with your AO off and you can snuggle this lil love too. I am still wearing the Melanie.Sea gift from *LX* in yet another color from that fun HUD of theirs.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have another event's anniversary to help celebrate, The Instruments is having their 2nd anniversary and most of the vendors are generously offering presents free to all, no group needed. The event runs until the 27th, so you have almost 2 weeks to head over there. Enjoy!
I couldn't resist starting off with a lovely tribute to Prince in the form of this gift from Selene Creations. I listened to Purple Rain a lot back in the day, so it was quite a treat to see the photo from the album cover immortalized here. It's included in several fitmesh sizes including standard, Belleza, and Slink. I accessorized with another anniversary gift, the Kawaii Bara Choker from !IT! which includes a HUD that offers resize options plus 16 flower colors to choose from. Personally I love the winged heart on the choker itself, and any added versatility from a HUD makes me smile.
If you're in the mood to twirl around in some fluttery flexi, be sure to pick up the lovely Sand dress by Lyrical B!zarre Templates. It includes the skirt and system layer pants and top, along with an Omega applier.
In a similar color scheme as that last gift, we have a short and sassy number from KL Couture called Julia Brown, with a resizable belt to fit over any of the standard mesh sizes of dress included. That subtle paisley print on the blouse goes so nicely with the hounds-tooth on the skirt.
Another fun anniversary gift is courtesy of Two Foxes, their Lorraine Dress in an intriguing pattern that reminded me of Spirograph (am I showing my age? LOL) or perhaps a crocheted layer over a classic sheath dress with cuffs and collar. This comes in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version, so it sounds like a good fit for many of you.
I am wrapping up the evening's post with a sexy bodysuit which is our gift from Katak, their Maillot Body Black in system layers as shown along with appliers for Maitreya, Belleza, and TMP. I also decided on some playful pops of color, in the form of the gift from (CW) and their Layka jewelry set. It includes the necklace, bracelet, earrings, and ring with resize scripts for your convenience, and I greatly enjoyed the look.
Nail note of the night: LUNA has out a terrific gift for Slink nails, their Music Instruments Gift with a HUD featuring 5 different designs of various musical symbols on either a black or a white background, so 10 options altogether. There are separate HUDs for Slink hands and feet, but I'm hoping most of us have upgraded to the body parts that are compatible with either :) It's great that they include both though, just in case.
Yesterday was more tiring than I expected and my family visit was several hours longer than planned, hence my need for finally getting some sleep which cut out my blogging time. Hiya everyone!! I must admit, there are so many wonderful prizes from the Peace On Earth Hunt that I really feel like another day or two would enable me to do it more justice. For now, I have plenty of treasures to show you so let's get to it!
Many designers' interpretations of the theme focus on angels, so there are several dresses with an ethereal feel to them among our prizes. This is prize #27 from BYRNE and is their Angelic Exclusive dress. It includes the dress in standard sizes, left and right wings, collar, and stone at the bodice, each in versions with and without materials enabled. I love the marbled texture, and the way the wings delicately cross in the back.
This beautiful gown has a shawl instead of wings, but still has a celestial quality to me. Prize #19 from Glitter is called Medieval Princess Gown Mesh Gold with Shawl, and does have a version with the shawl attached as well as one without, each in 5 sizes. I accessorized with the Nola Set from Beloved Jewelry, prize #63 which includes the earrings, necklace, and ring, along with a resize version of the necklace and ring. They have a color change menu on touch, 4 gemstone choices (ruby, diamond, aquamarine and emerald) which I showed more of on the closer view of an earring. Great versatile set to match so much!
For more creative wings, head to #12 Lyrical B!zarre and find their globe to receive this POE Angel dress with its fun swirly chest piece (wings) and ribbon belt as separate and therefore optional touches. Gorgeous!
This gown is attractive as well as whimsical, and I love it! Prize #44 by *UniQue* BoutiQue is called Tangled, and the cross strap dress itself comes in various mesh sizes with a fun animated texture that changes color. The lights are two separate attachments that you can click to toggle through 4 light modes: color change, continuous, blink, or off. If the scripts in my old SL Christmas tree hadn't gone all wonky, it would have been delightful to pose in front of it for a humorous holiday card type photo :)
Back to heaven, hehe, we have another exquisite pair of wings to highlight an already stunning gown. Prize #26 from Posh Pixels is called Peace Gown, and the dress with attached cape comes in 5 sizes, along with the golden wings which wrap almost protectively around the wearer. They remind me of either spun glass or woven beams of light, either way they're amazing.
My nail note of the night is the same as last night, the Luna Body Art gift from #17. Pretty and versatile, these are a terrific set of manicures for the holiday season.
