12 Years of SWANK

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a celebration of the SWANK Event and their 12th anniversary. With their free group tag active, you can claim gifts from over 200 booths by clicking the gold and glass globes. I'm so grateful for all of these generous treats, and excited that they've been bringing us the best of these designers for a dozen years! This is a part one, as throughout the month I will be sprinkling some more of these goodies into my posts to continue to tempt you into visiting. 

For my first look of the evening, I selected one of 3 gifts I found from V8 Underground. The **ABYZOU X DEMON CONCEPT COSTUME COMPLETE OUTFIT** is ideal for Halloween (which will be here before we know it) as classic demon or devil attire. The dress, collar, and boots are all provided in Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn body sizes. Then we can add the horns, tail, fork, and animated wings, which include an on/off HUD for their flapping motions. There are BOM layers included of the Lelutka EVOX makeup and gloves/panties/pantyhose that I'm wearing here. The accessories are adjustable, and the fingerless lace gloves look great with the fishnet stockings :) I hope I find some costume events to attend since their other gifts (stay tuned for future posts) are similarly seasonal.

I wound up with 2 gifts from purplemoon, and they do seem to be intended to be worn together :) The :: pm :: Phoebe Top -blue- includes the sleeves separate from the top, both in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn bodies. Isn't the intricate design on the top and the upper part of the sleeves stunning? It reminds me of a mandala, and looks so pretty against the full lace sleeves. We can wear it either way with the lovely :: pm :: Phoebe Skirt -blue- which wraps around and is held in place by a wide belt. There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes included, along with a metals HUD offering 6 options to adjust the color. Since the top and skirt are separates, I will happily pair them with other staples of my wardrobe from time to time, because why not? :)

We all deserve a new little black dress from time to time, and this one is a flirty strapless style with extra short gathered skirt tied on the left thigh. It has been designed for just one specific body as per the name, but there is a chance that you could get it to fit a similarly proportioned one with some alpha adjustments or even tweaking your shape.

My final look tonight is the fantastic [Witch In A Box] Doe Lunar Outfit. This gift looks like separates at first glance but they're linked to wear as one piece. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu bodies included. The images of the various moon phases across the front are lovely, and the bold black bow adds a really fun touch that I appreciate :) I'm also impressed by the bubble style of both top and skirt, which I definitely don't see in combination like this very often. 

Is it naptime yet? LOL, sorry - no idea why I am feeling drowsy tonight but I'm sure I will perk up while I'm in SL later. Chatting with Xan always helps too, and he is very forgiving if I find myself yawning because he knows it's not from the company :) I didn't do anything unusual or tiring. There are so many things happening in SL this month, and I am up to my eyeballs in Twisted cubes lately so you can expect to see those hunt prizes shortly. Swank Celebrations

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're back to the SWANK event's Celebration of Colors round for June, which includes a Pride hunt to look for rainbow striped flames that look like wooden plaques, very pretty. This might be the easiest hunt you ever do, since most aren't really hidden and the ones that are might just be tucked behind a sign or along side a shelf but still visible. The bright colors do help them stand out :) Join the free VIP group and you'll be able to pick these all up for free, which is a perfect way to add some fresh color to your summer wardrobe while saving those lindens for some shopping at the event if you wish. There are plenty of terrific offers for sale here of course, and I usually pick out a couple each round to treat myself with. With this bevy of talented designers, how could I resist? :)

My first look of the evening is the playful Ahlure - Francy Outfit gift. Its dress (technically shorts romper), jacket, and boots are all included in Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. There's an outfit HUD with 9 colors each for jacket 01, jacket 02, dress upper, dress lower, and belt, plus 4 metals. There's a HUD for the boots as well, with matching 9 colors for upper and lower sections and 4 metals. Just use the tabs on the top of each HUD to change what area is being tinted. I purposely chose different colors for parts 1 and 2 of the dress and of the boots to distinguish, but it looks fantastic with everything all the same or even without the jacket for those hotter days.

Next I had some fun celebrating the season with our **SIMONE DREW PRIDE STYLE COMPLETE OUTFIT** gift from V8 Underground. The bright red tank top, rainbow striped leggings, and red sneakers will yellow trim each come in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. V8 Underground loves their accessories too, so we also receive the headband, necklace, and earrings with fun rainbow flags on each :) They are all adjustable so we can fit just about any size or shape body. 

I feel like sequins are essential for Pride month too, so I couldn't resist sharing the .:FlowerDreams:. Aisha gown - shiny gift! This full length dress has a crossed halter top and open midriff with wrapped skirt tied on the hip, showing off a lot of leg. There are 18 gorgeous textures on the enclosed HUD, and the gown is included in eBody, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. That's a nice range of older and newer brands and styles, since I know that some folks prefer to stick with the body they've been enjoying for several years and others crave the newest ones :) 

Our Ruxy-Aaminah Single Color lavander gift is absolutely ready to bring the flirt factor. Its top and bottom each fit Legacy, Perky, Perky Nerido, Maitreya, and Maitreya Domina mesh bodies. There's also a HUD included with 6 metals each for the beads (trimming the bra), leaf, and rose. I appreciate the ability to customize the decorations on this lovely outfit, and I must say that this color is dreamy too. I feel like every time I see its name in SL it's spelled differently, lol, like the region Lavendar that will probably be a part of SL23B in just over a week. Spellcheck here says lavender is correct for American English, but it's a stunning hue no matter how it's spelled.

My final look tonight is actually two of the 4 goodies I found from the same brand, as they (like many of these designers) have multiple booths at the event. The Swank & Co. Sassy Sailor Dress - Scuba is the beauty to the left above, with their Sassy Sailor Dress - Pin Up from behind on the right. Each of these include 5 fitmesh standard sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing. There are so many great details here worth mentioning, like the bow in the front/back and the double breasted style of buttons on the midriff. These dresses whisper summer, as they are classically retro and therefore too ladylike to scream in my headcanon ;) I associate dark blue and white with nautical designs, and the polka dots are such a cute touch on the Pin Up version.

It was a productive day yesterday, and I got some really tasty pizza while I was out. I got my new contact lenses yesterday, so I put them in today (after sleeping with no lenses at all to let my eyes breathe) and they are working out well so far. The left eye is only 0.50 stronger, and I totally derped by putting it inside out so I had some discomfort at first that freaked me out. You'd think after 40 years of wearing contacts, I'd know better? LOL! But the other eye is a -2.00 increase so you'd expect a drastic difference, however the cataract seems worse in that eye so very little improvement. Shrug, I'm guessing they will do the right eye first since it's worse. My gaming friend is still sick (bronchitis, ear infection, bad cough and hoarse voice) so we aren't doing our usual gaming night this week either, but with some luck the new meds will do their jobs and get her better soon. I'm still playing the usual games regularly, just having slightly less fun without random hilarious chats with her. Bring On Spring With FabFree

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to Bring On Spring, thanks to the FabFree hunt of that name. This round runs throughout the month of April, and we're looking for neon rainbows in each store for $0L - $5L each. You will need their website open as it tells you the links, hints, prices, and preview images of the prizes. I'm a longtime fan of theirs as I've mentioned here countless times, so these hunts are extra excuses for me to visit their participating stores :) That's the fun part, I don't need additional reasons when I already do stop by most of these stores relatively frequently, and if you aren't already familiar with them I think you'll be eager to get more cozy and hang onto those landmarks.

My first stop was Belle Epoque, where I found their lovely Medea GIFT for free inside their hidden rainbow. The pastel pink (color is called Candy) gown has intricate chain straps and a flowing skirt that falls past the ankles. Isn't it so pretty? The gift includes sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. 

Here I'm still feeling pretty in pink with the Ruxy Ellena V3 prize, which is also a free treat :) It fits Lara X and Legacy mesh bodies, and has an eye-catching checkerboard pattern on the fabric. There are lots of great 3D details, like the flowers above each breast and the beaded chain style straps that go around both breasts, across the back, and loop around the neck. The essentials are covered but we are absolutely looking sizzling hot! PLEASE note - I did stumble across a couple of $1L rainbows from a previous round, so make sure you follow the hint carefully and if you don't already have those other prizes you can consider that a bonus opportunity :)

Speaking of hot, our $3L HU - April prize from Hello Uglies is a sexy way to remind folks that spring isn't just about pastels :) This gives Goth ballerina vibes, and I'm surprised at how much that idea captivates me. I think it's the detached looking puffed sleeves as well as the layered skirt that is reminiscent of a tutu. The back of the skirt is short enough that I will be finding my favorite black lace panties to layer beneath. This affordable goodie is yours in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.

As a certified 3rd generation chocoholic, lol, this $1L hunt prize makes me so happy. It's our CloudNine Her Chocolate tee, and says "Save the Earth... it's the only planet with Chocolate" with a very well chosen image in the middle. The soft tan material reminds me of a sweatshirt, I think the term is heathered when it's got that mix of shades in the knit :) The ladies' version has sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies, while the nearby rainbow for the men has its own set of sizes. That one is the same low price, both easy to find and well worth it. 

My final look of the night is our @rOrO Shelby Dress Spring Edition prize, which is both fabulous and free! Just find that rainbow and you'll receive Erika, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizing, along with a HUD offering 4 colors of the sweet floral pattern. It really is ideal for spring, and I can't wait to wear it out and about :)

It was a nice outing yesterday, although a bit tiring, and I had a good day today too even though the weather dropped a full 40 degrees from one day to the next! Can you believe it, I mean what is happening here? LOL! Every evening I have to rearrange half my office to swap the fan and heater, and I can't figure out whether I need short sleeves, long sleeves, no sleeves, or several layers to be comfy. Otherwise it's nice to have April here finally, and I have my Easter plans set which is something my family usually doesn't do so it's a bit unusual although not a bad thing by any means. Gaming with friends was fun, and they might have to skip next week but we'll still be ready for the big update (DLC, added content) in Hello Kitty the following week. Shopping and Hopping

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some Holiday Shop & Hop gift to share, this time from the Forsythia region which is one of 18 to explore there. Each region has 20 designers, all of whom have their best seasonal wares for sale including discounts, and of course the generous gifts :) Those are what I'll be showing here, and I really enjoy doing this because it reminds all of you to enjoy some shopping and free treats now that the big holiday is over. The season is still here, and a brand new year is just around the corner, so our wardrobes could probably use a little refreshing. 

My first look this evening is a gorgeous top from BONNICCI called Amber XMAS. This flirtatious top looks heart shaped in the front, and can be worn either with or without the puffy sleeves which are gathered above the elbow and at the wrist. Each is provided in Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with a fun pattern of green and white Santa hats on a bright red background. What will you wear yours with first?

I had to laugh at the Stiff - Noctern Shirt - Extra 6 gift, which says "When you're dead inside but it's Christmas" over and beneath a skeleton wearing a Santa hat while holding a green bauble :) It could be interpreted as Goth, but I think it also suits anyone who is just tired of this season. There is sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included of this cropped short sleeve tee. If I weren't happily rocking my Delizio jeans, I would probably wear this with red and green plaid leggings or a sassy little skirt.

Look who found another top! This cinched tube top is our Ruxy-Cristina gift, and a quite versatile one at that. It is created to fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 10 colors each for the top and the gems in the middle of the stars. Mixing and matching is always fun, and this way we can wear it with just about any pants or skirts we desire :)

It's so cold outside in RL right now that the !APHORISM! - Trench Coat Bordeaux [Ltd Ed Gift] is absolutely right up my alley. Our new coat has four pockets, a slim attached belt, and several large buttons to help us keep it snug around our curves. The gift includes sizes for Classic, Classic Dainty, Curvy, Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD offering 12 colors each for the belt, pockets, and buttons. I like the idea of the pockets matching the main coat as I did on the right, but then I couldn't resist giving the belt and buttons the same pop of color. 

My final look tonight is the adorable @rOrO Sadie Xmas Set Dress. This gift looks so comfy and warm, with the versatility of 3 different colors each with 2 sayings on the front, for a total of 6 options via HUD. How was everyone's Christmas? Mine was pretty good, despite a few hiccups with the food. I've mentioned before that my parents and I make pizzas on Christmas day, and that my parents have to eat gluten free...well sometimes they have trouble finding gluten free pizza dough, and they tried a new brand that was refrigerated (not frozen) and it was just not cooperating. She had them sitting on their individual greased trays, and then tried to stretch them out like usual...they wouldn't spread and cracked instead, just tearing into chunks. A rolling pin didn't help, and eventually she got two pieced together about an inch thick and looking like a bizarre mosaic, LOL! My parents used those, and for mine we used a frozen crust that she usually has for quiches. She said it was the worst pizza she's had in her life, but my dad didn't seem to care because he'll pretty much eat anything. Mine was fine, and I have leftovers for tomorrow or whenever. We all laughed a lot at the absurdity of the situation, and it'll be a fond funny memory like the time at Thanksgiving 30+ years ago when my great aunt (a phenomenal cook/baker) made pumpkin pie with salt instead of sugar. The farmers market is canceled tomorrow because of snow and icy weather, so it'll be a cozy day at home with hot tea and catching up on TV and things :) I hope you all have a fantastic weekend ahead, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Stylish Swank Sweets

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is chock full of SWANK Event group gifts, from their 11th anniversary spectacular. You'll need their free group tag active to claim these, just click all the globes you see with the golden 11 inside and the event logo. There are so many designers and just a plethora of gifts, I feel like I could easily blog nothing but this until the end of the month/event ;) The urge for variety prevents me from doing so, lol, but I really want to encourage all of you to visit and invite your friends both male and female since there are treats for all.

First up this evening we have the V-Twins - Ruby Outfit gift. The brand specializes in biker wear, and I must say this really shows that off well :) Our jacket, top, skirt, and panties are each provided in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with 2 HUDs to cover it all. The first HUD has 12 colors each for the jacket, jacket arms, top, and panties, plus 4 metals apiece for metal jacket and metal bikini. Then the skirt HUD offers 12 colors each for the skirt, skirt edge, opacity 25%, and opacity 50%, along with 4 metals for the skirt metals. Everything is on labeled tabs across the top once the HUDs load their scripts.

This lacy creation is our gift from JUMO Originals called ELLIE Dress Special. Isn't it gorgeous? The single shoulder strap is trimmed in lace, much like the bodice and the hem. We receive Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Signature mesh body sizes, as well as a HUD with 8 textures. Those include 4 colors in either solid or floral. I will say that the lace on the bust is just see-through enough that for some destinations you may want to add some sort of pasties beneath to ensure the nips are peeping through ;)

Speaking of lace, the VIONA - Ballet Dress Outfit gift has some options that give us a sheer lacy look too :) It could just be because I've been watching Dancing With The Stars (rooting for Robert Irwin and Danielle Fishel!) but this top and skirt combo are giving me tango vibes and I am captivated. They will fit Freya, Isis, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. Of course there's a HUD tucked in there as well, with 10 sheer and 8 solid color options for each piece. We can mix and match, but for some reason I was feeling matchy-matchy it seems.

Next I got to wear my favorite color, thanks to our Ruxy-Isabella Purple gift. It's worn all as one piece, with the look of a corset, blouse, and shorts, in sizing for Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies. The corset and shorts are accessorized with golden bows, and the blouse has such pretty ruffles and poofy short sleeves to go with the full pockets on the shorts :) Such a unique and playful look, don't you think?

My final look of the evening is a striking set of pointy nails, so pointy in fact that one thumbnail is accidentally piercing my lip ;) Our FF Original - Nail Bento Stiletto Glitter - Purple gift from Fatal Fashion is designed for Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Slink, and Tonic mesh hands. They're very easy to wear, just use your body's HUD to hide its built in nails and add the mesh set from this folder. This set includes a HUD with 2 textures, with and without glitter, so you can decide which one suits your taste and your outfit any time you wear them.

I went to the local Dollar Tree earlier, hoping to find those hand sanitizer sprays that sell out so quickly each time they stock them. They were out but the employee was kind enough to tell us when the truck comes in, so we can try again soon. Otherwise I'm thinking about my dad turning 82 tomorrow, marveling at how fortunate our family is to be able to help him celebrate it soon. Did all of you know that the Twisted Hunt will be returning in October? Someone in a group chat mentioned that it's a one-time thing, so not permanently back but at least we get to enjoy the difficult but worthwhile challenge once again :) I've missed it for sure. SL22B Hops To Halcyon

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're hopping over to the Halcyon region of SL22B, the Shop & Hop event taking place right now as part of Second Life's 22nd birthday. Isn't it exciting to know that the virtual world we all enjoy so much has been around for so long? I keep thinking about how impressive and mind-boggling that is, and all the lives they have touched and brought together. As I've mentioned before, we have 20 store displays per region and there are 24 total (20 moderate, 4 adult) so that's a lot of gifts to appreciate :) I do strongly recommend the FabFree spreadsheet of gifts, which you can sort by tabs at the bottom by type (male, female, unisex/both, store credit, dinkies, etc.) or region or store name alphabetically. I keep the gifts in my folders by region for now so I can share one at a time with you.

My first look of the night is the adorable Black.Flowers - Summer time Gift Set. Its bra top and short shorts are each provided in Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. As you can tell, there's also a HUD tucked in there, which lets us choose from 6 colors for each piece :) It seems I was in a matchy type mood, but mixing is also on the table here. I must admit that I've been wondering why I am so drawn to bows in general, and it occurs to me that in this case I think those pretty strands and bows in the back would tempt someone (Xan) to want to touch them, play with them and wind up caressing my back in the process. Subtly steamy!

I paired two gifts for this look, and I'm infatuated with both of them :) The Mossu - SL22BGift Top - Dreamy Rose is trimmed with gemstones and fur, with separate top and sleeves in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu bodies. The HUD offers 70 colors each for the fur and gemstones, with on/off for sparkles and gemstones, plus 6 transparency options as well as the opaque I am using here. Candy Kitten made it extra easy for me to complete this look with their *CK* Coy shorts SPECIAL gift, thanks to its fun little HUD. That has 5 colors for the shorts, 15 for the belts, and 2 metals for the hardware. Love the heart-shaped buckles, and the flirty cutouts in front with distressed strings draped through! These sweet shorts fit eBody, Legacy, and Lara X mesh bodies.

For some folks in RL and SL, summer means surfing, so if you're hitting the waves you will need the Moon Coven: Wetsuit gift. Isn't it stunning? There are sizes for Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. The shiny black fabric really helps the pink trim pop, and I think it will be very handy for anyone who wants to try surfing or just enjoys time at the beaches of SL.

Next I slipped into the Evergreen - SL22B GIFT which is a terrific hoodie that could either be a short dress or a long tunic. In sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn bodies, it has short sleeves, pert front pockets, and darker blue trim that really complements the main heathered blue fabric. The slits on each hip are making me think I will wind up wearing it over jeans or maybe capri pants for a touch of modesty :)

My final look brings us back to the beach with the Ruxy-Vera Free Gift. We get the appearance of a two piece bikini, but they are linked to wear at once in Legacy and Lara X sizes. We also receive a HUD with 5 fabric colors, all of which work beautifully with the intricate gold trim. Those flowers made me gasp, so lovely :)

We've had storms off and on last night and all day today, but they should let up soon for a day or so, fingers crossed. I'm still somehow amazed that July is here already, just really weird sense of time lately. I am a little nervous about my appointment tomorrow afternoon, more because of being in a car at all than about the weather, but I know it is important so I'll try my best to hang in there. Colorful Swank Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post has several more treats from the SWANK Event and their Celebration of Colors round. They have a Pride hunt for their VIP group members (free to join) which is not a difficult hunt, so please don't let the word 'hunt' discourage you :) The prizes or gifts are inside rainbow striped wooden flames, just look around for them and give each one a click. The event is open until the end of the month, so we have just over a week to enjoy exploring both floors of this huge, impressive sales event.

For my first look of the evening, I am feeling bright and colorful in our JUMO Originals - ANOK Dress Pride gift. This beauty is awash in rainbow stripes, and its straps wind around the body to provide a crossed belt. We receive sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies in this thoughtful gift.

I recently shared another lovely {Le'La} gift, and now I'm just as delighted to show you our Makana Set. The cardigan, top, and skirt are designed for Erika, Erika Bubble, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies, while the garters come in those same sizes as well as Maze versions for each. I love the color, what a pretty shade of blue! The garter having a small heart shaped zippered pouch on the left side is a fun detail too. We are all "Limited Edition" just like the shirt says :)

Next I slipped into the flirty Ruxy-Selena Mesh Dress flower gift, which can be yours for free just like all of tonight's looks if you find the flame :) It looks like a loosely buttoned satin blouse, with a small floral pattern on deep orange. I can see wearing it over jeans or leggings too, and for modesty I would definitely layer a bra under too. Not every destination in SL would approve of this as is, lol, and I am relatively modest in my daily wanderings.

Interestingly I noticed that the Witch In A Box - Syntilla Dress is also a buttoned style that is slightly opened, but this gift has long sleeves and a lovely star pattern instead :) The dress fits Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets us choose from 4 textures. Did you notice that the stars are various colors to go with the background? This clearly made me a very happy magpie.

My final look of the night is our YoUnique Couture gift called Dannielle Dress Duo2. Just like the name indicates, there two beautiful dresses inside (v1 and v2) which are each included in sizes for Gen X Curvy, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Mesh Body Classic (TMP) bodies. Handkerchief hemlines are just so fun, and both colors look fantastic with the intriguing pattern. I think to accessorize, I would add a short necklace or a bracelet, matching earrings, and whatever shoes jumped out at me first from my inventory ;)

This weekend seemed to go by really quickly, didn't it? Good news - my power was restored early Saturday afternoon, so my generator did not become a problem. Questionable news - the air conditioning is starting to struggle, really crappy timing with a heatwave causing us to have a heat advisory until Wednesday night. At some point it'll feel like 108, and the AC can't seem to get it below 82 during the day and 77 at night already. It might make it, but only time will tell. If it gives up, I will wind up at a hotel and not be able to be in SL (cheap old laptop) so blogging would be put on hold. Xan or I will update on that if it comes to it. Otherwise I'm still working my way through Shop&Hop, tons of fantastic offers and gifts as always, and should start blogging that soon. FabFree St Patty's Day

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is packed with prizes from the FabFree St. Patty's Day Hunt, which are $0L - $5L and hiding in neon rainbows. Just think, you're finding something even better than a pot of gold by following these rainbows ;) The website will guide you with landmarks, hints, and preview images, plus the prices to help you budget for your explorations. I definitely have a fondness for both the FabFree group and their blog, going way back to my early days in SL. You don't need to be a group member to join in the fun, but if you have a spare group slot I would certainly recommend it as there are tons of gifts as well as all the helpful group notices and group chat which always has tips that are new to me. Our hunt started on the 10th and runs until the end of March.

My first look of the evening is one of the three $5L prizes you can find at The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. It's called LEPRECHAUN SIZE Tee and it made me giggle, because I'm 5'4" but somehow the shortest in my family and in various friends' groups. So I am referred to as short, but this time of year I guess I'm really just leprechaun sized ;) That image on the front reads "I'm not short I'm leprechaun size" in case you can't quite make it out. I love how the jaunty hat is sitting on the E in size, next to a few clovers for good measure.

It's actually one of 5 you'll find there - 2 dresses at $5L each, 2 pairs of socks to match the dresses at $3L apiece, and a free set of garters to match the socks :) The gold dots on this dress are such a playful addition, don't you think? It fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, so I changed into my Lara X from my Lara 5.3 to accommodate these curves.

I am having a rough evening, struggling with some stuff brought up in therapy earlier and having received some shocking and terrifying advice based on a temporary situation. I stared at the screen without even saying a word for a few minutes, then burst into tears and had to excuse myself for a moment. Silly me, I didn't have tissues with me for this session as usual, and it's only the third time I'd needed them. Now I just feel upset and sick to my stomach from stress.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I am enjoying more of the SWANK Event group gifts from their Winter Wonderland of Gifts round. It is free to join their group, and that tag will let you click all the dozens of pretty gift boxes wrapped in festive red ribbon at many of the displays. This is such a generous event, and there are the usual fantastic sales offers throughout both floors of the sales area. Be sure to complete you shopping and gift claiming before the end of the month when they close down until the new year :)

My first look of the evening is the Melody HILDA DRESS FATPACK. Our gift includes Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing, along with a HUD that offers 20 colors each for 4 different portions. The main dress, upper sleeves, sheer lower sleeves, and cuff trim are each represented in those four parts of the HUD and can be tinted all the same or you can get creative and do a rainbow of hues.

Another gift I am delighted to share is the Ruxy-Arabella red dress. This beauty has a deep V neckline and is gathered with a solid red belt accentuated with a gold medallion on the bow in front. So pretty! There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. I really like the lacy design on the fabric too.

Next I shimmied into the flirty Cherry Up! Nori Top & Shorts @Pink gift. It was a quiet day and then a busy evening somehow, leaving me a bit frazzled but that isn't entirely uncommon lately ;) The farmers market I used to go to regularly (and still send the housemate with a shopping list each week) just sent out an email this evening that they are canceling this Saturday because of the rainy forecast. I feel badly for the chef who was the featured lunch vendor, as we don't know how much warning they gave her so she might be stuck with having ordered lots of extra ingredients like meats and eggs which are all so expensive lately. She is from Thailand and does lots of delicious Thai specialties that I really appreciate like ramen, dumplings, and she always makes fried rice specially for me :) My parents had preordered some gluten free dishes from her too, as they do about every other week I think. Oh well, as far as SL goes we have a few more days before several hunts and events wrap up, with a few continuing into the new year, and I am going to share as much as I can while possible.
