Blue SL Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the Blue SL Event, which frequently involves group gifts each round but this is their 2nd anniversary so it is even more special. There are so many terrific designers, and I appreciate their generosity with the $50L exclusives they offer as well as these thoughtful gifts. The Blue SL group is free to join, and the gifts are either free or very low cost (I saw one for $5L and am sharing one for a single linden dollar). I usually do song titles with 'blue' in the title for my post titles for this event, but decided to focus on the anniversary part instead here :) Perhaps next round I'll be back with another deep dive into colorful musical titles.

My first look is the cozy EC Anastasia Red v2 gift from Emerald Couture. Its hooded coat with lots of fur trim is provided in 5 fitmesh standard sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. The high heeled boots are unrigged and have the same lush fur as the coat, and to make things quicker I just used my body's HUD to hide my feet :) The red makes me feel festive, but also a touch of Red Riding Hood, so maybe I'm ready to star in a fairy tale.

The Nut & Squirrel Gabriella group gift is a lovely option for somewhere fancy this weekend. There is something so elegant about a mermaid style gown, and this one has a flirty bare back and deep V neckline, so we get to show off lots of skin while we're feeling formal :) There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies included, along with a HUD that lets us choose from 6 colors. If I love them all, does that mean I have to wear it 6 times in a row? Maybe it just means I can change colors partway through an evening like a fancy chameleon ;)

Because of the bare shoulders, this dress made me decide to share the NuNa LuNa gift with it, called ~NL~ Tattoo Upper - T15. There are 50% and 100% opacity versions of these rosy sleeve tattoos, as BOM layers and an applier for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink bodies. I genuinely couldn't decide which would photograph better, so I figured I might as well share both opacities for you to see.

Next I changed into the Allure Couture - Hallie Coat Set Black gift, which is both flirty and timely. The coat and skirt are linked as one piece, so that and the panties and even our boots are included in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. We get to feel warm and cozy while baring just a flash of thigh, and of course the cleavage from the plunging neckline. The buckle on the belt is giving Santa vibes, but in a reverse color scheme. Santa could never look this hot in those boots or the skirt though ;) 

I switched bodies for my final look tonight, from Maitreya to Lara X, so I could share the gorgeous Uni-qu3::*MorningStar* night dress:*:::earth. Like several of these gifts, it was set to pay $1L, but this one did not refund so I believe it is intended to be a dollarbie, and as you can see it is so worth it! Our gown has an amazing full skirt whose pattern made me think 'disco ball', and the top is cut very cleverly to hide the essentials but reveal considerable midriff. There are sizes for Lara X, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included in this sweet treat.

I've been noticing a pattern that if I wake up partway through my usual sleep cycle and then struggle to fall back to sleep, during the second chunk I have more intense and sometimes frightening dreams. If I doze off again quickly, it doesn't seem to have the same results. You can probably guess that since I'm mentioning it now, it did in fact happen to me earlier. The bad dream is lingering a little, despite my having had a nice time at my parents' for dinner and generally enjoying my evening. It's like it crept back into my conscious mind, and I want to shoo it away like a mosquito :P  We've got the timing settled for next Saturday's holiday meal, and all attendees have been notified (something I thought my mom did ages ago, whoops) with a potential plan for a small Thursday meal with just my parents. I don't want her to go to any extra trouble so I almost vetoed that one, but I will probably take next Thursday off from blogging to allow for potentially going there and/or helping her out in preparation for Saturday. Tomorrow I'm headed to the farmers market where there will be 3 food trucks, but I'm only interested in one of them. Orsy Anniversary Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a look at several gifts from the Orsy Event, all either free or $1L. They are celebrating their 2nd anniversary, so there are treats to reward us that either need the free Orsy group tag or none at all. Just have a look around and you will find wonderful offers, and some gifts in long boxes with cat ears and face :) Cute and generous, what a winning combination!

I started out with the delightful PAIX - BLUSH Lip Oil - lelutka Evo/EvoX - HD Applier gift, which has 6 vibrant colors to enhance your lips. There is a sexy shine to the lip oil that makes it even more remarkable that this quality HUD is a free gift :) I am especially grateful that I purchased an EvoX compatible head so I can share treats like this!

Black Angel has a terrific $1L gift called LAURA BIKNI SET BOM by BA Store. As the name says, there are BOM layers for our bra and panties (separately), in several tempting colors - black, blue, brown, green, pink, purple, red, sky, white, and yellow. They are fairly revealing as you can see, and the strings are all tied just right with loose bows that I love. 

Next I slipped into the ~NL~ Dress Catrine - 7 gift from ~NuNa LuNa~. This free gift has a lovely yellow floral pattern on sheer creamy fabric, and just look at those straps! There are sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies included. I feel like this could double as a nightie when you are feeling too romantic to leave the house ;)

My final look of the evening is the extraordinarily generous $1L treat from Charazad, their "Flower in Love" Fatpack. I do love a nice floral pattern, and always appreciate color change HUDs for versatility. The dress you see has a few versions and pieces to wear with the right strap dangling off the shoulder as seen on the left above, and the jacket (right) is a very nice touch for autumn evenings. All versions of the dress and jacket, patterned and one color, will fit eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Jomo Dragon, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies, while the matching heels come in sizing for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. As for the HUD to make this a fatpack, there are 12 colors each for dress patterned and jacket patterned varieties, then 144 buttons for one color solids. We click the dress, jacket, or heels button first and then choose our color, very simple :) I'm still amazed at how many solid colors are offered!

It always feels like a long day when I don't get enough sleep, and there is something so frustrating about lying in bed for an hour or more without dozing off. That said, it was a decent day since I got my hair cut and colored finally :) She got a little carried away with chopping off length so it falls just to the shoulder, and it was mid-back when I arrived there so it will take some getting used to. At least it is curling up instead of frizzing out now, big relief for sure. I probably won't get there before the holidays at the end of the year, so this was a thorough visit that took care of roots and bulk. I am smiling from an enjoyable weekend, and a bit anxious about my first dose of the vaccine tomorrow because I tend to react poorly to medications in general. I am mentally preparing for arm soreness, and as long as that is the only result then I will be here blogging in the evening as usual. If I develop a headache or fatigue or anything else, I might just take the night off to rest. I am not saying I think I will have a problem, it's just a case of preparing for anything :) Most likely I will be here posting, just worth mentioning so nobody wonders where I am if not.
