Hiya everyone! It is time for a few more peeks at some goodies from The Wash Cart Sale, each item only $10L so you can perk up your summer wardrobe or freshen your living space on a budget. There is about a week remaining to visit the event and save lots of lindens on high quality merchandise. I also have some more glimpses down the Silk Road, the Silk Road Hunt VIII that is, and since the hunt ends in a couple of days I strongly suggest you hurry to search for those golden pagodas. They contain a wide variety of prizes for men and women, but I did notice a considerable amount of home decor this round for their Byzantium theme. Think of all the creative things you could do with that, especially mixed with some Wash Cart Sale bargains! Can you hear the wheels turning in my head, coming up with ideas?
This first duo of dresses is just a small sampling of the dozen versions offered on the NSP/Muse cart at The Wash. On the left is NSP Rosie Sleeveless Dress V1, on the right is V12, and each are just $10L and include standard mesh sizes. There is a nice range of colors and patterns, and I love the asymmetrical hem on this style. You can visit their mainstore by clicking here, and the direct link to their cart is in my ending credits.
For this look, I slipped into a versatile offering from Lunar Seasonal Designs at The Wash, their HUD Driven Retro Summer Dot Dress with Bow, standard mesh sizes with a HUD that lets you choose from 6 background colors for this fun dotty pattern. The dress is just $10L and so are plenty of other choices on their Retail cart as well as a Full Perm cart if you are a creative type :) Their mainstore link can be found here, and the ending credits link will zip you to their retail cart (full perm cart is next door). I am leaning against one of the many items for sale for just $10L each at the Low Prim Living cart, their lovely [LPL] Celest Bookshelf with Poses. It has a land impact of just 8, and is quite detailed with everything you see on the shelves built in, including that nice bright lamp. There are 3 poses to choose from when you right click - sit, unisex so anyone can enjoy. Some of their other cart offers have poses too, while others have texture changing menus, these are useful additions to any home. Let's explore the Silk Road hunt a bit, this is a fun prize from Tayren's Fantasy Fashions called Female Roman Outfit in Green for SRH8. It includes the toga in standard mesh sizes, sandals in classic or Slink flat, cabochon necklace, and laurel leaf hair wreath with resize script built in. I am either ready for a toga party, costume event, roleplaying, or just randomly dressing in a different style than usual for me :) I am loving that rich texture, the green looks velvety and oh so touchable. There is a male prize provided as well, as with most of the stops in this hunt.
The Byzantine Empire seems to have been known for opulence as well as fascinating artwork, and this dress incorporates those ideas very well. It is our gift from Lillou Merlin Design called [LD] Thea Dress, and comes in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. The rich golden mosaic design is a striking example of Byzantine art, and its timeless beauty makes this dress even more special.
Our final look of the evening adds an Asian flair to the post, the prize from Prism Designs called Prism Kayo Geisha by Jezzixa Cazalet. It is provided in 5 classic mesh sizes as well as 5 fitmesh sizes, and the pattern resembles a tapestry that would be quite at home traveling the Silk Road. The luxurious colors are complemented by the black trim and wide belt with back bow.
My title tonight was pretty random, as I have been listening to a great deal of 80s music lately and hear that song by Richard Marx fairly often. It is another beautiful evening, my window is open and I'm enjoying a soft breeze, so I am grateful for a nice night. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am showing you another handful of the terrific prizes to be found at the Fall Festival Hunt at Creations Park. This beautiful sim is devoted to raising money for Parkinson's Disease research, a truly worthy cause. When you visit, be sure to check out the cart sale as well as the boutique stores where the prizes can be found, and just in general there is a lot to appreciate about their land so explore and enjoy! I did by taking all of tonight's photos there at Creations Park.
This stunning gown is our gift from Nala Design, their ND*Scarlett Red/Teal which comes in standard mesh sizes. The colors are intriguing, and the backdrop seems to bring out the beauty even more.
I felt like a fairy princess in this combination of prizes, added to the magic of the sim itself. The dress is the AlaFolie gift LOU bleue which comes in several mesh sizes (standard, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine) and I would like to point out that the sheer lace at the hem goes up high enough to show off your undies, so for public wear I highly suggest remembering said panties ;) I topped this off with one of several lovely gifts from NSP, this being their Lady Gwynevere in Sublime Mint. I even included a closer look so you can see the intricate details with the delicate flowers and metal scrollwork.
Next we have another stunning look, this time from Entice called Rose Gown in Ocean. This gift includes 5 standard sizes and 5 fitmesh, and it is so strikingly detailed that it takes my breath away. The backdrop is an Aladdin's Palace you can explore on the sim, one of several interesting attractions to visit.
I slipped into something more casual so I could relax by the beach, in two more gifts from the Fall Festival Hunt. The jeans were seen last night in a couple of photos in other colors, they are the !.Love Lei.! Night Hunter Jeans which also have matching vests in 5 colors on their Omega HUD. I'm wearing the black here, with the GeMyles Creations Top Festival Hunt which has the Team Fox logo on the short top layer of this comfy layered shirt. The bottom layer (which is attached) is a grey and white striped tank top, and these are provided in standard sizes.
One last look for the evening, I kept the same jeans on but am peacefully meditating in the !.Love Lei.! Womens Cracked Tshirt prize. There is a mens version as well, and there are 5 standard and 5 fitmesh sizes included. This was quite a relaxing way to wrap up the night and the blog photograph session on this amazing sim :)

Hiya everyone! The calendar finally shows that autumn is here, but my RL weather is not quite convinced so the Wash Cart Sale's theme of Indian Summer is suiting me quite well. We have reached the halfway point of this round, so you have one week left to take advantage of some amazing sale prices on top quality merchandise. Another seasonal event I always enjoy is the Kiyomizu Hunt, which is in their Autumn 2016 round. You are looking for cute ninja kitties, some of which are hidden remarkably well, like inside other things or shrunk smaller than I'd realized was even possible. Still, I enjoy the challenge and always find plenty of terrific free prizes of all sorts.
I started out with some cart sale finds, like these cheery t-shirts from Park Place Home, who are also branching into casual clothing. On the left I'm wearing their Women's V-Neck Tee - Be Happy (which reads Think I'll just be happy today), and on the right is A Good Day V-Neck Tee For Her (Today is a good day for a good day). There are other designs on their cart too, just $10L each as these are, and they each include standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version. I found a perfect match for these shirts among the lovely sandals from the Roped Passions cart, the (RP) Nani Sandals in Pink. They are included in Slink and Maitreya versions, and there are a total of 5 colors to choose from at the cart along with some selections for the guys. Over to the Kiyomizu hunt, this stunning dress is our prize from #25 [satus Inc]. Their striking Folded One Shoulder Dress Black is provided in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. I enjoyed pairing it with another prize, #27 courtesy of [Future Popp]. This pretty Kawaii Choker has a delicate heart held in place by pale pink leather.
The autumn theme of the hunt lends itself well to Halloween styles, and Shiorin's Mart is offering a prize that goes right along with that idea so well. Prize #33 is their =CS= Mesh Ladies Tennis Dress Halloween and is included in 4 mesh sizes (XXS, XS, S, and M) along with the alpha, and just look at the vivid colors, cute pumpkins, and haunted house silhouette! I am very pleased to have found this one.
One more look for the evening, this is another hunt prize that I think fits the Halloween feeling I just mentioned. This is from Sugarplum, #34 in the hunt path, and it is their Mesh Maid Outfit in standard sizes. It even includes a system layer white bra and panties, and the alpha layer is in there too. The cute ribbon choker you see is a built in part of the dress, as is the apron. You could use this as a costume for a maid or a waitress, or simply wear it any day for fun.
