Dubai Delights

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more group gifts from the DUBAI Event and their 5th anniversary round to show you. There are dozens of treats for men and women, including fashion, accessories, decor, and more, so plenty of variety among the designers' generosity. I really enjoy celebrating events' anniversaries with them, as I am consistently impressed with the longevity some events and designers have in SL. It feels like a tribute to the ability of our community to adapt to new innovations over the years while expressing creativity throughout. I went back and saw that several of the gifts with the wrong group have been corrected, so you should be able to claim everything now :)

My first look of the evening is the Savin. Trisha x Dress - Creme gift, which is one of the gifts that I was initially unable to claim but as you can see it has been fixed :) There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Nerido Legacy Pushup, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. The tight bodice leads to a very short flared skirt, somehow reminiscent of the soft ruffles on the shoulder straps. I think the color looks almost mauve in some lighting, very pretty!

I adore the Galagher - Morgana Black gift as a simple, casual outfit for everyday SL adventures! The top and shorts are each provided in Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh body sizing, in solid black with a red racing stripe down the side of the shorts. The combo of cropped tank top and low waisted shorts mean that much of the midriff is bared, yet it is still appropriate for most venues.

I also gratefully claimed the Ruxy-Selena Mesh Dress flower red gift, and got a bit of a surprise when I tried it on the first time and saw that from certain angles the left nipple is very visible. I only mention this so you can have pasties ready if you plan on heading somewhere that it would be a problem, no shaming intended :) It looks like a dress shirt but without the collar, buttoned off to the side with a few upper buttons popped open, in a vibrant red satin adorned with bunches of blossoms. This dress will fit Freya, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. 

Mellani's has two dresses inside their gift box for us, so I'm showing off the "Emy" Print 1 on the left above and "Emy" Print 3 on the right. The styling is the same, but the fabric patterns are wildly different which I am enjoying quite a bit :) Each is included in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The skirt is even shorter in the back, and the bodice has a sheer geometric section like a square with a triangle at the bottom. The sweetheart neckline and tulip skirt shape are definitely eye-catching touches too.

My final look of the night is a romantic gift from HER which is named CAMILLE DRESS. It's got terrific sleeves, full but gathered twice (see the bow on the upper part?) with a square neckline and tight bodice. The fabric is decorated with white hearts, wide enough that they could almost be mistaken for birds or open books at a glance. Neither of those mistakes would be a bad thing in my mind :) Now to decide what jewelry to add before wearing this somewhere fun...

It was a busy morning as I was visiting the SL20B Shop & Hop, well at least getting started since there are 24 regions this time around! 4 of those are adult and I haven't been to them yet, so I'm half curious and half afraid of what I'll find there ;) I think I visited 7 or 8 regions so far, honestly I forget but my hand is aching from all the mousing and arrow key pressing. Tres Chic Part Deux

 Hiya everyone! Tonight there are more gifts to see from the Tres Chic 7th anniversary celebration. The gifts are for the free Tres Chic group and can be claimed by clicking the stacks of 2x2 lettered cubes at most of the displays since so many participating designers are helping celebrate. I have been so impressed with the generosity of these gifts, and you will find some wonderful offers for sale at every single display :) You can certainly find something new to spice up your weekend here.

First I tried on the alluring "Off-Line" x "Lilo" Dress / Fatpack GIFT, a wrapped halter style dress with slightly asymmetrical hemline and trailing strands from the tie on the right side. The dress comes in Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, with a generous HUD allowing us to choose from 20 classic (solid) colors, 20 bandana prints, and 20 camo print hues. One of the bandana colors can be seen on the left above, with a camo to the right. HUDs offer such versatility and I always greatly appreciate them.

This beauty is the Lilu - Burgund gift from AVALE. It has a plunging neckline and extra short skirt with daring side slits for added sex appeal. Our gift includes sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kalhene Erika, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, as well as a 10 color HUD for the skirt. I randomly chose a dark green and a black to show you, but there are lighter hues and even a burgundy that matches the top exactly. 

Next we have the VARSITY / ANDREYA SET - FATPACK gift, a crop top and romper that each fit Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is also a HUD for each piece with the same 8 colors, so you can mix or match to suit any mood. The romper is close fitting with spaghetti straps, while the crop top is a loose turtleneck to just cover the shoulders and arms.

TO.KISKI has a really cute gift for us called Vanilla Mini Dress / Stripe, in a coral shade of pink and white. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies provided, all in a fun fluttery style with spaghetti straps and ruffles to show off our curves.

For my final look of the evening, I slipped into the MELODY LUCA FATPACK dress which is a flirty strapless mini with lots of circular cutouts both front and back. The dress comes in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with a 20 color HUD for plenty of options. Then I accessorized with another nice group gift, the Savin. Key x Necklace - Pack. There are 6 metals each for Legacy and Maitreya, each labeled like Legacy01 or Maitreya 03 for examples, and all have a simple elegant key as the pendant. I had fun trying them all on to see the different colors :)

Cosmopolitan Round 2

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the Cosmopolitan Event for the 2nd round of their 9th anniversary month. This one wraps up on the 29th of May so you will want to visit soon, with their free group tag active to claim the new set of gifts. Some of the designers are the same as the first May round, but not all, and they did change out the gifts for us so it is well worth visiting again. I am very grateful that I did, and love sharing these treats with all of you :)

My first look is the Cosmopolitan group gift from PrettyDeceased called Aurora Dress. It is a lovely mini dress with bare shoulders, ruched top, and ruffled detailing that are all complemented by the pretty floral pattern. It comes in sizes for Aphrodite, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Persephone bodies. I must confess that the names Aphrodite and Persephone are new to me as bodies, but am always intrigued to learn about various avatars on the market. 

Next we have the Avery Dress GIFT from Limited Addiction. This cozy dress has an attached hood and an add-on with masked and non-masked versions of the pixel heart you see on the front. The dress and add-ons are all provided in Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes. The purple trim looks so cute with the main teal color, doesn't it?

This playful look is the Little Diamond gift of their *LD* La Loba bodysuit FATPACK. Its style is reminiscent of a biker jacket with those zippers and collar, and it does have a leathery sheen to the texture. The bodysuit comes in sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD offering 18 color choices that include solids and ombres. 

This enticing dress is our Neutrality Dress Cream gift from [Eternus], which in my lighting seems to be a deeper almost bronze color that I am really fond of. It comes in Maitreya and Legacy sizes, and has a halter neckline above its knit texture and short skirt. I accessorized it with KUNGLERS' gift of Ionna bangles - wood. The left and right sets are both included and have a built in resize script, so you can adjust them with just a few clicks. The combination of earth tones in the bracelets and dress just felt right to me :)

For my final look of the evening, it may appear to be one gift since the pieces go so well together, but it is in fact two generous gifts. The top is the Savin. Leona x Bra - Red, a bandeau style with delicate ruffles and tied in the middle. The rich crimson color really is delightful! It is provided in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies. As for the bottom, that would be our Coco String-FATPACK gift from ~Nerido~. This revealing panty comes in Legacy and Maitreya sizes, with a 10 color HUD so you can pick your favorite shade for a little added variety. 

It has been a very warm weekend here, but things are going to cool down for a few days which will be nice for my electric bill ;) I am combining slight use of air conditioning with fans in each room I frequent, so it feels a bit muggy although not as bad as it is outside. Cosmopolitan Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the Cosmopolitan event still has their Advent tree available for all group members to claim dozens of gifts from. The group is free to join, and the tree is near the front entrance, so all you need to do is activate the group tag and click each stocking on the tree. I saw it mentioned in a different group, with a helpful tip that you can find the stockings better if you derender the tree (right click, derender, temporary) then because there are so many I derendered each stocking after I'd clicked it. Now I did notice that some of the stockings distributed their gift twice when I know I only clicked once, so I just had to delete some duplicates. I recall that happening last year too, so I am wondering if the scripts go funny when there are a lot of avatars in the area. I would much rather receive multiple copies than none ;) This round of Cosmopolitan is open until the 9th of January, so I believe you have a few days left to be able to pick up these wonderful treats.

First I slipped into the Apl.Blossom Aurora dress, a thoughtful gift in vivid red with intricate snowflakes on the top. It comes in sizes for Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite bodies, and has a body skimming style with unique single sleeve. I am liking this look for more than just Christmas, even if the snowflakes are a wintry touch. 

My next look is the gift from MeHoney, called Nina Dress - Red. It has several components, each in sizes for Freya and Maitreya bodies: the dress itself, a sparkles layer, and the belt which is an intricate harness style. There is also a HUD with 2 metal choices for the belt, for added versatility. I am wearing the sparkles layer on the right, but they are so tiny and they do flicker on and off, so they are hard to capture in a still image. 

This pretty top is the gift from Savin, their Mila x Top - Red which goes to show what a popular color red is at this event :) The flattering style is made even more flirty by the soft ruffle, and it is provided in Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite sizing. I paired it with the versatile CLOCKHAUS gift called LaLa Joggers // WHITE CHRISTMAS, which are trimmed in gold and silver snowflakes on the bottom half of the legs. These playful pants come in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes. 

Those leggings came in handy for this photo too (and the next one) since I was able to change into the MASOOM Enara Top Gift which looks cute with the pants too :) This gift includes Freya, Legacy, Legacy Perky, and Maitreya sizing, with a HUD that offers 2 colors for the straps and 5 transparency settings for the diamond shaped section on the front. On the left I have it set to 70% transparency so you can see the difference between the slightly sheer area and the bra cups that do not change, and your other choices are 0, 20, 50, and 100%. 

My final look of the evening also features the CLOCKHAUS joggers pants, but I have changed into a lovely set from mellowcute called Devika Christmas gift. The top and pullover are both included in Legacy, Legacy Perky, and Maitreya sizing, and you can wear them together or separately if you prefer. On the right I am wearing just the sheer top without the pink knit pullover. Think of all the possibilities...you could pair this with jeans or a skirt, or wear either piece with a different top too.

Happy Anniversary Cosmopolitan

Hiya everyone! Tonight we help Cosmopolitan celebrate their 7th anniversary, which is an exciting milestone for any event in SL to last so long and remain strongly popular. Almost all of their designers are offering group gifts for the occasion, just activate your group tag (free to join) and click the boxes at each display. There are exclusive selections for purchase as with each round, and this round is open until the 15th.

This strapless mini is our gift from -:zk:- called Nautica Dress, and it comes in a single Maitreya size that might fit other shapes/bodies as well. The stripes make me think of summer, and of course that nautical flavor that the name references.

-Sorumin- is offering this Top&Shorts set to all visitors with the group tag, which is a single piece with the look of two, and is fitted for the Maitreya body. The lace on the top is exquisite, and the denim shorts have great detail as well. The belt is attached and part of the outfit too, so this is very easy to wear. The hard part is choosing between sneakers and sandals to pair it with!

I paired a couple of gifts together here, starting with the gift from Meva which is our Cosmo Gift Tops. They come in black and white versions, both of which are designed for Maitreya (yes, this is a common experience and why I need a Maitreya body for blogging purposes) and are fun, revealing halter styles. The skirt is a flirty number from Loki called Heart Skirt - Pink&Red - Maitreya. I think you can guess what size it is ;) It is short and fluttery, and will look wonderful with whatever you wish to wear with it.

The gifts from the prior photo made a perfect base for adding the gift from *InsomniaStore* which is called iS Fringed Crop Jacket OCEAN. It comes in Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya sizes, and I was really drawn to the layers and layers of fringe all around. That deep greenish shade will look sharp with any top you layer beneath, and whatever pants or skirt you use to wrap up the outfit.

My final look this evening is the group gift from SAVIN called Betty, and what a charmer she is! The panties with chain and matching top with chain are each provided in a Maitreya size, and I am captivated by the hearts at the ends of each chain. Those long ends trailing down the back made me grateful to be wearing an updo hairstyle to show them off properly.

It was a bustling kind of day, with things that needed to be done to prepare for a busy weekend with a houseguest :) I am looking forward to it, although I have not yet determined for sure how it will affect my blog schedule. They do not arrive until late evening so I'll be blogging tomorrow for certain, but I feel like Saturday night will be a night off for me. I still log into SL to check notices/messages, but no time to gather items and take photos and notes.
