Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features several different styles and colors of hair, which are all found at Hairology and even better, as free gifts for their 2nd anniversary round. Most of the designers' displays have a yummy looking two-tiered cake with chocolate icing on a blue stand, set for sale for $0L with no group needed, so you can claim all these gifts while browsing the exclusive hair offers. We also get to take a trip to Sad November where we can find a perfect cool-weather coatdress from Entice that I am enjoying in all of tonight's photos. Trust me, you will not feel sad when you are wearing this beautiful outfit!
First we have a good look at that comfy, elegant coat dress I mentioned from Entice at Sad November. It's called We Got The Beat, and there are 8 individual colors for sale for $150L each (sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Fitted included in each), or you can get an excellent bargain by purchasing the fatpack for $450L. The fatpack includes a HUD with all 8 colors plus 2 bonus ones (including the teal on the left above) and it lets you change the sleeves separately from the body for even more versatility. I think I need an SL shirt that says HUD Life, I am such a fangirl for HUDs! That affinity predates my blogging history, they have just always struck me as an excellent idea. As for my hair, that is our gift from TUKINOWAGUMA called *TKW* Delrio. It is included in rigged and unrigged versions and comes with a full range of color HUDs: blonde 1, blonde 2, brown 1, brown 2, colors 1, colors 2, natural colors 1, natural colors 2, red/black 1, and red/black 2. I couldn't tell if this gift is meant to be unisex or for men and/or women, but I really like it so I wore it :)
This lovely hairstyle is our gift from RunAway Hair called [RA] Sophie Hair - Recolored, and it includes regular, boobs, and fitted versions. There is also a color HUD with 9 options, as you can see there are very pretty ombres and fades among the choices. The soft waves make for a very attractive style.
Speaking of waves, these beachy looking loose waves are from Damselfly and are called Lena Rigged Mesh hair. There are two sizes (small/medium and large) as well as a HUD with a whopping 40 color choices, solids and ombres in natural and fantasy colors galore. With all those possibilities, you can change your look whenever you wish.
This sleek side ponytail is our gift from Mithral called Oats, and it comes in a soft auburn shade that I normally gravitate towards. There are regular and busty versions included in case your ponytail needs a bit more room to accommodate your curves. You may have noticed I added a pretty accessory around my neck, that is actually the anniversary gift from Pink Hustler called *PH* knit choker. It includes a HUD with 20 color choices for the main band, 20 for the ties in the center, and even 3 metal tones to really personalize this for whatever look you wish to wear it with.
If you cannot decide between wearing your hair up or down, you can always compromise with this free gift from Limerence, named Sonia. This partial updo includes a regular and a boobs version, with a color HUD called Special Set that features 20 pastel choices for you to tint your hair. Those flowing locks and softly upswept bun are ideal for colors that make us think of faeries or mermaids, bringing a touch of fantasy to a gorgeous waist length hairstyle.
I don't generally mind Mondays, but this one was a bit on the frazzled side for me so I'll be happy to greet a new day instead. I was hoping for clearer medical advice from a doctor, rather than repeats of what others have said pretty much word for word, but I am trying to remain hopeful. Tonight I will be showing you some gifts from the Hair Fair 2017, a wonderful SL tradition where hair designers come together and offer selected hairstyles with a percentage of the proceeds going to Wigs For Kids, each style is labeled with the chosen donation percent. I tend to be quite the creature of habit when it comes to my hair, so I love this opportunity to see all these talented creators' work and pick up some new hair for a worthy cause. There are also donation kiosks in each of the 4 sims so you can help out even more if you wish. Tonight I am showing some gifts I found at the Noirette sim, and I highly recommend their very useful guide on their website to track down specific vendors if you don't have time to explore fully. I needed a pretty and versatile outfit to help me show off all these great hairstyles, so I chose an offer at The Liaison Collective (TLC) from Entice. Well, let's peek at the pretties!
My first hair gift is the generous TUKINOWAGUMA *TGW* Razo style, which comes with plenty of color HUDs for any mood or preference. There are 15 shades on each HUD: Blondes 1, Blondes 2, Browns 1, Browns 2, Colors 1, Colors 2, Natural Colors 1, Natural Colors 2, Reds Blacks 1, and Reds Blacks 2. The high pony is braided halfway down, ending in a soft curl, and I am partial to bangs and wisps.
This sharp style is our gift from .EscalateD. called Nadja, and includes a HUD that says 30 Shades of Inferno across the top. There is a section for the main color and one for streaks, with solid colors and tips or ombres like on the right, all in various shades of red.
The gift from NANI is a playful style called Catherine in Dark Brown, with gravity defying spiral curls and pretty peaks of hair framing the face. Such a creative look, and the color is widely flattering.
Here is another photo you will have to give a click to see the full size, to really appreciate the gift from Exile. They have included Evie & Judd in their free gift, this is Evie and both styles work with the included color HUDs: blondes, browns, grayscale, mix 1, mix 2, naturals, natural fusion, reds, wild fusion, and wildcards. While I usually gravitate towards soft reds like the shade on the left, I am totally in love with the rainbow streaks on that middle one! The brunette color is especially pretty on this style too. This is also a good look at that beautiful dress I am wearing, as I mentioned it can be found at TLC (The Liaison Collective) and is called Entice - Island Girl Dress. Each color is $200L individually, or I highly recommend the fatpack for $599L which includes 2 bonus textures for a total of 10. Among the individuals, there are 4 solid colors and 4 tropical varieties with the exotic print on the skirt and a solid tone up top. The bonuses in the fatpack are a sunny yellow solid and a pale blue tropical. Today was fairly busy and productive, and it looks like the next several days will be hectic as well. Probably really hot too, judging by the weather forecast, so I will be hoping to stay cool and calm. Hiya everyone! The newest round of the Enchantment event just started on the 12th, with a theme of Hansel and Gretel, and along with it there is a fun hunt that will send you looking for an open book with foliage that says Enchantment on it in several participating main stores. You'll need to pick up a free HUD at the event first, and allow it to teleport you, then each button you click (tiny store logos) will whisk you away to one of the locations you need to search. It will also put a hint in your local chat, always handy for finding things. The HUD was a bit glitchy, circling the wrong stores in green for me a few times (the indication that you found that store's prize already) or a couple times teleporting me to a completely different store, but I believe I wound up visiting all the right locations in the long run. Tonight I will be sharing an assortment of the generous prizes to be found.
In my first look I am enjoying some stunning lingerie from Chocolate Atelier, their Pier in Dots Green. System layers are provided along with appliers for Belleza, Lolas, Maitreya, Omega, Slink Physique, and TMP. The texturing is delicately beautiful, in addition to being quite sexy. My hair is another hunt prize, this time from Tukinowaguma and called *TKW* Hansel Hunt. You will find a rigged and an unrigged version inside your prize, and as you can see it has a bright green bow headband attached and is a very deep ombre.
We have some more alluring lingerie to see, this beautiful set is from Glitzz and is called Becky in Pink. As you can see, I did add a couple of white dots to hide my nipply bits, hehe, as this set is artfully crafted from mostly lace in a gorgeous color. I accessorized with the TABOU Old Collar female version, and their prize does include the male version as well. I was struck by the softly shaded cracks in the metal, you can tell this piece has been well worn and much loved.
Is all this hunting making you hungry? If so, be sure to find the book at Zombie Suicide for a sweet treat. Their Z.S. Mouth Cookie is a tasty nibble, and our avis don't have to worry about pesky things like calories or food allergies so they can enjoy this in comfort.
One last look of the evening, I am showing the prize from Love which is the gorgeous Honeysuckle hair Fat Pack with HUDs for brunettes, candies, gingers, greyscale, mystics, oddities, ombres, pastels, and roots & streaks. Our prize from Supernatural is a trio of Juno Leggings in system layers along with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink Body, Slink Feet, and TMP. As you can see, they are rather like stockings and they are sheer enough in the panties area that I again added a few white dots to hide more bits that may not be suitable for all audiences. The designs on the mid thigh include crosses, cats, and paws, but they are simply labeled by numbers, 1 or 2 or 3. Not a part of the hunt but certainly a part of my outfit here is a Marketplace gift from Baby Monkey called Baby Tees Basics. It includes system layers and HUDs for Slink, Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega so you can use with your classic avatar or most of your favorite mesh bodies. Baby Monkey may be best known for their fabulous shoes, but I am very pleased that Pixie also creates a nice variety of clothing.
If you have been noticing my eyes (especially visible in the 3rd photo with the cookie), I have excellent news about them. They are a brand new release from Inkheart called Eternal Eyes in Malice, and they are the current SLF&O group gift. You can join that group for free if you aren't already a member, and pick up these stunning peepers for absolutely free. They may be my new favorite eyes, even though they aren't my usual preference of brown to reflect my real life shade. They come in 4 sizes and mesh versions along with system versions, so they should be suitable for many mesh heads as well as classic heads.
I am running late tonight because my weekend visitor has just left, on a safe journey to their home so now I'm just looking forward to their return in a couple weeks for Thanksgiving. Hiya everyone! I braved the wilds of the Hair Fair 2016 this morning, and I did manage to pick up handfuls of generous gifts to show you. Lots of fun colors and styles, and it is always nice to see the donation kiosks getting good use and all those amazing hairstyles designated as donating a portion to Wigs for Kids. The Hair Fair is open until July 31st, and there are countless designers for every taste including many indicated on the website as offering male hair too. I'm always glad when the guys aren't left out :) Tonight I am showing you a few gifts from Backlot East, the sim called Platinum, and the event does cover several sims so that information could prove helpful.
First we have a very wearable color demo from Lelutka called Nova, which comes with all of their HUDs with 40 color options each. Those HUDs are called bauble, blonde, brown, cloud, gravity, naturals, and red, and I went with a fun fade on the left and the red I'd normally choose on the right. Those cascades of waves make this just a wonderful gift.
If you prefer a chic updo, pick up the gift at the Tukinowaguma display and you can claim this *TGW* Izumi with unrigged, rigged, and fitted versions. There are several HUDs included for choosing your color: 3 blondes, 3 browns, 2 colors, and 3 red/blacks, with fades and ombres galore. This is an elegant style with so much versatility in all those color choices, much appreciated of a gift.
Back to a more casual style, this is our gift from [Mello] called Beyond Stars, in their ALLTHECOLORS <3 pack. That is a great way to put it, and a stellar variety (yes that is a pun) of HUDs that look like constellations: Darks, Galaxies, Neutrals, Neutrals2LessShine, Pastel Magic, and Pales. As you can see, I was enjoying the fantasy selections quite a bit, and am in love with that mermaid-like one on the left :)
Sometimes we want an unusual look to stand out from the crowd, and this intriguing gift from .Shi definitely fits that bill. This is their Valiant unisex style, a fully loaded fatpack with color HUDs dblonde, dbrown, dips, lblonde, lbrown, mono, pastel, and reds. The style is really unique, and I noticed that other people have been eagerly blogging this gift as well. My jewelry is actually another gift at the Hair Fair, courtesy of EMO-tions, a lovely set called *VERONICA* including the necklace and earrings. With that deep burnished gold and the delicate pastel minty color of the pearls, these beauties can spice up any outfit.
One last peek for the evening, this is our gift from CHEVEUX and what a cute bob! This color seems to be specifically for the Hair Fair gift, and the style is simply numbered M081 which seems to be how they name their many creations. I used the resizer script so the wisps wouldn't be embedded in my cheeks, this is about 15% larger than default so this would be terrific on a youthful avi as well.
A few notes for tonight, let's start with Something very noticeable in that last photo particularly...my eyes. I am proud to present one of the two group gifts for the month from Inkheart, Tender Eyes in Cinnamon. I am wearing the large size in mesh, they are also available in system versions and other sizes included. The group is free to join and their eyes are always stunning. I finally picked up the WoW skins gift for July that was available for a couple of days already I believe. This is called Katty and I'm wearing the tan shade, several others are included plus Omega HUDs. They had a period of free group membership recently and honestly I am not sure if it's still going on, normally there is a fee to join but all prior group gifts are available. My dress tonight is another version of one I blogged recently from Lilbit Sass, a Midnight Mania prize called Jordan Shimmer in Bronze. This comes in several fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. There are 2 locations of Lilbit Sass and the group is free to join, there are boards and lucky chairs at each location along with other goodies.
Whew, what a whirlwind! After crashing at least a dozen times at the Hair Fair, I was hoping to have a peaceful day but wound up going out after all. RL is rather relentless that way ;) I have plans for each of the next 5 days, so lots going on but I have plenty more Hair Fair gifts to show you the next few days. Hiya everyone! One really fun thing about SL is the wide variety of fairs, all those special events for designers to show us new and/or exclusive items, themed or not. The one I explored yesterday was The Garage Fair (that is linked to their blog) and nearly all of the participants have out a crate with a gift for $1L or free. So I bopped around the region, hehe, and I have some gift goodies to show you all.
This bright and cheery dress is a free gift from Revniks. I think the style and the color are great for the warmer weather we're starting to enjoy.
This duo put me in a tropical mood! The dress is from Tukinowaguma and is named Ivona, and I was delighted to be able to pair it up with something that matched so well! That terrific beaded necklace is the gift from Lakshmi, don't the beads really pick up the red/orange from the flowers on the dress nicely? :)
For another fun look, we have this lovely mesh outfit from B!asta called The Fragrance of Summer. It made me daydream of being on a beach somewhere in the Caribbean, and of course that calls for sunglasses so I added the gift from [i] which includes the pair shown and a pair with clear lenses.
Lots of great tops to share, so I am sporting the white capris I found for free on the marketplace to blog recently, and here they are with this adorable shirt from {ViSion}. I wanted you to see the styling of the front and back, that tail and heart make for a terrific rear view :) Remarkable texturing on the front as well of course, this manages to be cute and sexy at the same time.
Here are 2 of the four generous gifts included in the crate from *Stars*Fashion*, which are a grand total of 3 shirts and a mini dress. These both have quite fun patterns, and I am also showing you the free gift from Legal Insanity. That gold handcuff ring, so detailed and I love that it cuffs two of your fingers together along with having that pretty chain connecting them. You can also see my nails a bit better here, they are polished (in all photos today) with a gift from Weaponized Sugar, a simple French manicure with a few different base shades to choose from. Sometimes simple is easier to match up!
My hair is a newer release from Truth, I've always loved braids but I have to wonder if Game of Thrones brings that out in me even more ;) Every time I get a notice about new hair from there, all I can think is "Shut up and take my lindens!" and that's before I even read it...minor addiction...
