More eBENTO Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a few more gifts from the eBENTO 3rd anniversary celebration to show you. They are tucked inside beautifully decorated 3-tier cakes at each display at the event, just click them with the free group tag active and you will receive a generous gift. These event anniversaries are fantastic, aren't they? The participating designers get to share their creations with more people than usual in many cases, as these events do draw considerable foot traffic, and get to spotlight their talents while also rewarding visitors with free goodies. I believe this round lasts until the end of the month, so I am glad to have time to try on the demos I picked up and return for some retail therapy :)

This fun and casual outfit is the gift from PARAGON called Female Dance Outfit, and is branded with their dance animation logo. The top comes in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions, while the shorts are provided in sizes for Alice, Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. You probably noticed my necklace too, that delightful gift is the [eVe] - Deathly Hallows. It includes blue, gold, rose, and silver versions with the Harry Potter symbol (triangle for the invisibility cloak, vertical line for the elder wand, and circle for resurrection stone) as the pendant to please any Harry Potter fan like myself :) 

I kept those dance shorts on and shimmied into the gift from **ArisArisB&W called CoAl73~Sweet Top~Gift. This sheer cropped tank comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Star Mesh Body, Signature Alice, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. There is also a HUD that lets you choose between black and white, both of which are daringly transparent between the lace. I almost censored this photo, but it was close enough to borderline that I decided to free the 2 or 3 pixels of visible nipple rather than hide the lovely lace.

Wow, this AURORA gift called Barbara set Red is sizzling hot! It appears to be 2 pieces at first glance, but the top you see is actually a bra and choker which are separate and the choker is comprised of the bands around the neck and beneath the bra, connected with the slender strap down the center. The bra, choker, and skirt each come in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. That left leg slit is quite daring, all the way up to the waistline, and I love the scalloped edges throughout this look.

I combined two gifts here to show you both at once, and was pleased with the total look :) The bikini is the Glitter Gillian Fitmesh Bikini Indigo, whose top and bottom are each included in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. The sheer fabric really highlights the lace texture, and the bright coloring. As for the gorgeous tattoo, it is the gift from KIRA TATTOO named NASLI, and features a tiger (or striped cat?) admiring a butterfly above some cherry blossom branches. There are two smaller butterflies hiding beneath my bikini top, one centered between the breasts and the other atop my right breast that is barely visible at the neckline. The tattoo HUD has 100% (shown), 75%, and 50% choices so you can decide how fresh or faded you wish it to appear, each for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, Signature, and Legacy mesh bodies. I almost forgot that for the Maitreya's BOM upgraded body, you have to add the tattoo layer from the folder before you use the applier...just a reminder so you don't wind up trying to apply it and wonder why it's not working, like I did! LOL you can learn from my mistake.

My final look of the evening is a looong luxurious set of nails from SlackGirl called ::SG:: Carezza Bento Mesh Nails. These ballerina shaped nails come in sizes for Belleza, Eve, Altamura, Maitreya, Tonic, Tuty, and Vista mesh hands, and you just need to use the HUD for your hands to hide the built in nails then "add" the corresponding set of these nails. There is a HUD with 8 design choices, all with lighter tips and fairly neutral colors. Please excuse that my right thumbnail is piercing my lip there, it's just my pose ;) Since the color HUD does all 10 nails at once, I took two photos and merged them to show you these two different options, as I tend to do for variety's sake. 

Whew, what a day! All my plans got turned upside down, mostly because of my overly sensitive stomach reacting poorly to the 40 degree change in the weather the past few days. I did not go to my parents' for dinner as I usually do, and I might have someone else handle my farmers market pickup for me tomorrow so I don't have to leave the house and feel ill in the car. That will probably be decided at the last minute, so I can see how I feel. Meanwhile I think I need to take a day off from my blogging, just take tomorrow night to relax and unwind. Women Only Hunting

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a few more treats from the Women Only Hunt 5 to share, and you have until the 18th to find all the hidden coconuts so please hurry :) The locations and hints are on the website so it's helpful to have it open to refer to during your hunting. There are clothing prizes galore, but you can also find jewelry, tattoos, and plenty of other terrific selections that you just need to find each coconut half and give it a click to claim for free.

First we have a sexy bikini that is helping me show off some lovely body art on my back, and both are hunt prizes. The coconut at Maddict holds this WOH Hunt Gift bikini, top and bottom each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, all with a pastel chevron pattern accented by flowers and pink ties. Inside the coconut at TAOX TaTToo you will find their Back Corset Flight Of Birds VG tattoo for mesh bodies. The top is included in black, brown, grey (left), and olive (right), while the shorts come in versions 1 and 2, seen on the left and right respectively.

I am back to blogging after a whirlwind weekend full of activities. Beautiful Weekend

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some gorgeous makeup to show you, from the A Dozen Good Eggs Hunt prizes found at SlackGirl. They have 6 eggs hidden until the 2nd of April, so you do want to hurry if you want to jazz up your eyes and nails for free :) I also stopped by [WellMade] to see what group gifts they had available, and was able to pick up two gifts for different groups that coordinated beautifully. I did need some clothing, after all, and I do appreciate the generous offers found there. 

First we need to take a look at what I'm wearing tonight, and I am happy to provide the details as usual. The top is WellMade's current gift for the the SLF&O Group (free to join) called Sunday Blouse, and it comes in sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. The bright purple stripes are striking against the black background. I paired it with the WellMade Sloane Pants, which are the current Third Life group gift on the same wall as the top. The Third Life group does have a small $10L fee to join to keep spammers out, and I am completely fine with that because nobody needs to see those pesky fake links in group chats or get random TP offers. The lovely leathery pants are provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, and I must say I was pleased that the Maitreya size fit me immediately with no alpha HUD meddling necessary ;) I usually have to hide my entire legs for most mesh pants, and I am grateful that it's even a possibility.

It is time to lavish those lids with some glitter from SlackGirl! The eye makeup you see here is their hunt prize called ::SG:: Carla Shadow, 8 colors in system layers plus appliers for Akeruka, Catwa, Lelutka, and Omega. I used the Omega for my GA.EG head, and it worked like a sparkly dream. With the rest of my makeup being neutral, the eyes pop even more with this great gift.

This next hunt prize is called ::SG:: SmokeGems Shadow, and is indeed flecked with gems along the outer edge. These deep smoky looks come in 8 choices, both as system layers and appliers for Omega, Akeruka, and Catwa. I think these are nice to liven up a weekend look, don't you? :)

You know by now how much I enjoy different nail looks, so naturally I was thrilled to see these ::SG:: Pingu Almond Nails hiding in one of the eggs. They come in versions for Maitreya, Slink, Tonic, Tuty, and Vista, and they are easy to wear. Just use your hand's HUD to hide their built in nails, then add the matching nails as I did with the Slink variety here. Bingo, you have almond shaped French nails with a precious penguin on each ring finger. *in best cheesy infomercial voice* But wait, there's more....

For my last look of the evening, we have the ::SG:: French Gift Stiletto Nails, in versions for Slink, Tuty, Maitreya, and Vista hands. These are worn the same way as the previous (hide the hand's built in nails, add these) with the bonus of a HUD that lets you choose between the two colors seen here. They can not be worn individually as it appears I am doing, this was merely camera trickery to let me show you both at once. Each pair of hands is tinted all at once with either black or white tips. These are great for when you want to command attention, or if you are a fan of Bob's Burgers and want to replicate Louise's cruise ship mani/pedi ;) Also, Xan, I know you're gonna look at these and think wow those look dangerous...I promise to be careful when wearing them around you!

Body Art 3 Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am excited to share a few gifts from the Body Art 3 Hunt, a small free gridwide hunt that will help you decorate your classic or mesh avatar with makeup, manicures, tattoos and more. The hunt object is a parcel wrapped in brown paper, and there are just over a handful of stores in this one so it shouldn't take you very long to find all the generous prizes. It's an enjoyable way to add some new pretties to your inventory.

My first look is the stunning prize from alaskametro<3, called "Lo Poly" Blush and it is included in system layers plus an Omega HUD in 6 different shades. This is the palest since my skin tone is fair, but I suggest trying them all to see which gives the look you wish against the tone you prefer. The faceted look is beautifully unique, isn't it? Just find the parcel and give it a click to claim your copy.

These two makeup creations are a sample of the 6 color combinations included in our prize from SlackGirl, their SG Fly Full Face Makeup in system layers plus appliers for Omega and Akeruka. These are really eye-catching fantasy makeup looks, and when I tried on a primarily green one for Xan, he commented that I looked ready for some Poison Ivy cosplaying :) The possibilities are endless.

I did mention tattoos, and our prize from TAOX TaTToo does fit that bill perfectly of course. It is called Belly Always and includes system layers along with appliers for Slink, Omega, Belleza, Brazilia Doll, KL, and Signature, each in Dark, Medium, and Light. I am wearing the Dark to make sure it showed up well in the photo. As you can see, it features the word Always along with an ice cream cone and pair of glasses, light blue with a pink shadow. Saturday Wash Cart and WOH2 Hunt

Hiya everyone! I hope your weekend is off to a great start, and maybe I can add to the fun by showing you more good reasons to go shopping or gridwide hunting. The Wash Cart Sale is a longtime favorite of mine, and this round is special because everything is $10L and there are items you can transfer to your SL loved ones as gifts. I can't imagine easier holiday shopping, or better savings. The hunt prizes tonight are from the WOH2 (Women Only Hunt) and are each free, you will need to pick up the HUD at the hunt office to teleport you to each destination and provide the hints so you can find those hidden snowflakes more easily.

Are you ready for a bit of hunting? This stunning dress is the LOULOU&CO prize, yes in both colors, their ALYONA dress. The black and the grey each include 5 standard sizes, 5 fitted, Belleza, Hourglass, Slink (Physique), Lara, and TMP for a wide range of shapes and bodies. I love the floral pattern, and if you have materials enabled you will see some intriguing reflections from nearby lighting sources. Find the snowflake and this is a free prize.

The holidays are a perfect time to be extra playful with your makeup and jewelry, so I was delighted by the SlackGirl Smoke Gems Shadows hiding in their snowflake. Summery Hunt Prizes from WOH

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am showing you more prizes from the Women Only Hunt 1, so as a reminder you'll need to pick up the HUD from the hunt office to navigate from store to store but the HUD and all the prizes are free. You are looking for half coconuts in each store, over 60 stops so there are plenty of goodies to claim.

For my first look, let's start with the playful fringe bikini from MoDANNA. Their WOH1 Collection Bikini comes in standard mesh sizes for each the frill top and bottom. You can also see the prize from Cute Poison, their Brynn Sandals for Slink flat feet which come with a HUD for 2 metal colors and 8 shoe colors. These are a great wardrobe component for the rapidly approaching summer.

Next we have another lovely bikini, this time the prize from Beautiful Dirty Rich. Their WOH1 exclusive prize is this Beach Diva in system layers plus appliers for TMP and an all in one HUD for Omega, Slink Physique, and Maitreya. The sexy metal rings influenced me to take this chance to show you these lovely bracelets as well, the hunt prize from Slackgirl. Their Era Bracelets come in a left and right version (wear both or pick your favorite) and a HUD with 4 gems and 4 metals to mix and match. I do appreciate the versatility, as well as that bold style.

The summer theme continues with these eye-catching suits from Suki. Their prize for us actually contains 2 gifts, two different colors of their Izzy in black or white. They are quite sheer, yet provide appropriate coverage where it's needed with those fun palm trees. The cross straps in the back are a great touch too. The watches are from {MYNX}, their super cute Owl Watch in Pink Chevron, and they included the left and right versions so you can choose which one to wear (I wore both so you could see different angles). As a RL lefty, I tend to wear bracelets or watches on my right hand, and I've found I prefer to do the same in SL probably as a force of habit. You can possibly tell in the closeup that there are watch hands in the owl's eyes, but they do not move that I noticed. There is a winding mechanism as part of the design on one of his eyes though, a cute detail.

We have almost made it to the weekend, hang in there! I think I got a bit too much sun at the farmers market earlier, which was jam packed with customers...great for the vendors, horrible for finding a parking spot (construction vehicles are taking up a lot of the prime spots) and waiting in long lines. Flawless Cart Sale & Hunt Goodies

Hiya everyone! By now you know I love cart sales, so it's no surprise that I was thrilled to finally get to visit the Flawless Hot Summer Nights Cart Sale & Hunt. They have exclusive items for $100L or less from each vendor, and the hunt is for popsicles on or near each cart that contain free goodies. Most are a 3 color combo, I seem to recall at least one variation but they all have that traditional popsicle shape with a wooden stick, and look like a great refreshing idea for the heat :) So let's see some of the generous gifts you can find in those treats!

Summer certainly means bathing suits, and this one has an American flair for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. This is the prize from one of two popsicles at the TD cart, and I accessorized with the prize from J&A Rock Culture. Their sunglasses look unisex or maybe intended for the guys primarily, but I think their style is an interesting pairing for the feminine bikini. By the way, that bathing suit is 2 separate mesh pieces, each in standard mesh sizes.

The other prize from the TD cart is this fantastic dress, hotter than a two dollar pistol! The stripes really catch the eye, and that style is wonderful with the off the shoulder sleeves and short tight skirt. I added the Charlisse earrings from LUMINESSE, since every great outfit deserves a touch of sparkle.

Bikinis are a staple for summer, so it's good to see another gift in a very different style than the first one I shared, since variety is the spice of Second Life :) This cute polka dot swimsuit is our prize from the Jinx cart, and now I can't stop thinking of the phrase "itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini". I added the earrings from *N@N@* and their cart's popsicle, as the bead and swirl seem to work well with the dots of the bathing suit.

How about another smoking hot dress? This amazing gift from KL Couture is called Irma in lime, and the plunging neckline is sure to turn heads. It's also a perfect frame for the elegant necklace from Beloved Jewelry, which is in one of their popsicles, and the matching earrings are in the other. I can easily see matching them with plenty of other things too, so they'll get a lot of use.

Last goodies for the night, we have a gorgeous dress from SlackGirl called Keysha. The adorable ring is the prize from Look*Me and picks up the various shades of pink in the dress really nicely. We can always count on the Flawless cart sales for bargains and freebies.

Nail note of the night: {Posh Pixels} has a Slink HUD in their cart's popsicle for us, and that's what I used for all the photos tonight. There are several different manicures on there, with abstract designs like fractals, and a variety of colors can be seen in each. Well worth picking up! My hair is one I've previously blogged from Truth Hair's discount room, Eden, with the flowers you can change colors or completely turn off as I had for most of the photos.
