Hiya everyone! Tonight I have another hunt for us to enjoy, the Strut Your Stuff Hunt. It's a dollarbie one, so each prize is just a single linden, hiding inside cute peacocks. They look like they are made of wood and painted blue and green. There are hints on one page of the hunt's website, and prize previews on another, with landmarks on both so you can navigate the hunt path with either. I was glad to find so many wonderful prizes, so let's take a peek at tonight's selection.
Twisty's Twistalicious Creations has a beautiful gown for those fancy occasions as their prize, called :TTC: Twistys FormalPlease Gown w/Hud. For just $1L you will receive the dress in sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, plus the HUD that has 8 diffferent textures to choose from. Some are solid colors like the right, others have a delicate pattern like on the left, all are such pretty options for this intriguing style.
This beauty is less formal than the prior gown, yet just as eye-catching in its own way :) It is the prize from Changed Seasons called MARIA, and consists of a separate top and skirt each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. The pencil skirt has a zipper detail and small slit in the back, and the gold top actually reminds me of a different hunt this month, but more on that in a few days ;) Just find the hidden peacock and you can claim and enjoy this terrific look.
The Sissy Bar wants to help you Strut Your Stuff too, with this delightful multicolored mini dress. It is provided in a standard fitmesh size as well as versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. Whatever your favorite color is, you can probably find it among this watercolor-like texture that I simply adore.
I was also fortunate enough to find the Aguas prize called Nana Mesh Dress Strut Your Stuff. It has a feathery pattern in white and pale blue, with matching attached belt, and comes in standard mesh sizes plus Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a Fitted version for various shapes and bodies. The plunging neckline would be great to show off a favorite necklace!
My final look of the evening is a flirty gift from [Drac] called SYS Hunt - Sharon Dress. It is a rich burnished gold color, almost bronze, and the front and back panels are just connected at the top and then tied together with ornate bows. Inside this gift, you'll find sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. So sexy!
I apologize for not posting this last night, but there were technical difficulties thanks to Google (parent company of blogspot/blogger where I compose this) having problems with servers and images. This would have been a very boring post without the photos ;) Tonight's problem is facebook, where my games (not SL related) do not work and I have time-sensitive things expiring in those. Technology is driving me batty lately! I was planning on taking tomorrow off from blogging because of a dentist appointment with sedation, but now I feel guilty after the forced absence. I'm undecided now what I'll wind up doing, to be honest, but with a little luck my next post will be fairly soon. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some hunt prizes to show you, from the Love Me - Not Hunt. It is a $1L gridwide hunt that runs until the end of the month, so you have almost a week to track down these terrific prizes. The hunt object we're looking for is a red rose bud (no stem, just the bloom) and there are hints on the website to help you. The prizes are Valentines themed without being overly specific, meaning they will look splendid well beyond this month and season. Completing all my looks tonight are some new nails from LIVIA, which I will fill you in on at the very end with a closer look too.
My first look is the prize from Aguas, their charming Sophie Valentines Mesh Dress. It is included in a fitmesh standard version along with sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. The golden gleam of the belt and bow look so pretty against the shades of red, don't they?
I got such a chuckle from this fun prize, the Love Bites Outfit from Southern Sass. It includes the knotted t-shirt and shorts, each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. A word of warning - the shirts are "no copy" so the automatic unpacker from wearing the HUD will not unpack them, you must rez it to the ground and right click - open. Believe me, I was confused when I went to the folder at first and only found shorts, so I am speaking from first hand experience. The t-rex chomping on a heart while stomping on the words LOVE BITES make for a hilarious shirt, and the shorts are daringly short with ties at each upper thigh.
Waffles is offering two different prizes hiding in their store, one for the men and this darling *WW* Love Me Chole Dress for the ladies. I didn't notice that it was based on the same mesh as the first prize I shared until I took the photos, and honestly it doesn't bother me to have multiple versions of the same dress because I like seeing how each designer chooses to texture it :) It comes in a fitmesh standard size for classic avatars, plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions. Helpful hint to find this one - teleport to the floor of women's fashions.
I slipped back into the shorts from Southern Sass because I needed some bottoms to wear with the prize from MadCatCreations. Their rose also contains something for the men, but the ladies will want to unpack this sweater and tank top set that you can wear layered or separately. They are each provided in standard fitmesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. I am thinking this would look great with a favorite pair of jeans or leggings for these cooler months too, and the tank with both solid and broken hearts can bring you clear into summer if you wish.
LIVIA has a fantastic new set of Bento mesh nails that caught my attention since I love black combined with either gold or silver, so elegant! These are their Black Matte Glitter Bento Nails [Ballerina], with a very popular shape and intriguing designs. They include versions for Maitreya, Slink, Tuty, and Tonic hands, each in medium (shown) or long lengths, and a HUD with 20 designs to choose from, all for just $199L. You can polish them all at once in the same gorgeous style, or choose one of the 5 nails on the HUD to do just both index fingers, both ring fingers, etc. There are plenty of glittery designs, and various stripes and bands of gold or silver across the satiny matte black polish. These are so easy to wear, too...just hide the nails that are built onto your hands with the hands' HUD, and add the LIVIA nails that match your hand brand. Then you get to play with the manicure HUD and choose your style!
It was a somewhat busy day today, and tomorrow will be even more so, as a matter of fact I will be taking the evening off from blogging because of it.
