FaMESHed Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm delighted that the FaMESHed event is celebrating their 14th anniversary, and naturally that means I get to share some fantastic group gifts :) In order to reach the group gift area, you'll need to join their free group by copy/pasting this link secondlife:///app/group/8ae32885-b174-3f8e-4a70-5df905f8f93a/about in local chat and clicking it. This event focuses on original mesh creations and the talented folks who bring that skill to SL, and it is an incredible accomplishment to have done so for 14 years and counting.

We start with the flirty Faida - Christine emerald gift, in a shimmery green that really catches the light beautifully. There are sizes for Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Momma, Prima Busty, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, along with a HUD to turn the holes (more like the fabric between the holes?) on and off. It's on for the left side of the photo and off to the right, and I wound up adding a little modesty flower on the right because it was baring more than I expected ;) That white flower is something I added to the image in Photoshop and is not part of the clothing or in SL whatsoever. 

Another irresistible gift I just had to share is the LEROY - Yasmin Outfit [Gift]. Maybe it's the dreamy pink hue, or perhaps it's the style of the corset and skirt, but I am captivated! Both pieces are designed to fit Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The corset is tied in the back with the sweetest bow, and the scalloped layers on each side of the skirt are noteworthy because they reminded me of feathers and therefore wings :) 

Some of our gifts are separates so I get to play around with various combos like this one. I started with the [Have Unequal] Jasmine Top, which is an eye-catching teal halter with three sections down the front that are laced loosely. There are Lara X, Petite X, Lively, Nhuma, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. Our Chelsea Pants - FaMESHed Gift from *JustBECAUSE* look terrific in dusky light blue, with a sleek fit that flares slightly at the ankle. These are provided in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn bodies, and are a versatile color and fit.

I kept those lovely pants on to share another shirt here, the Belle Epoque - 14 Top - GIFT. It's such a great way to honor the 14th anniversary, and maybe your lucky number is 14 or it's a special day for you too. I'd even wear it to honor a hockey player who sports that number :) This playfully cropped tee is tied on both sides, and will fit Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Wear it with your favorite jeans, shorts, or skirts instead if you wish - there are so many possibilities.

My final look this evening brings us back to one of my favorite colors, thanks to our No.12 Apple Blossom / Emily II gift. Apple Blossom has rebranded as Blossie, and are in the process of reopening their shop in a new location. But meanwhile we get to appreciate their charming short sleeved dress with bold side opening to the skirt (C-string or panties strongly suggested) in a bubblegum hue. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies provided.

I'm somewhere between fuming and pouting over a hockey game, when in reality I know that my team is outmatched in this series and I should be grateful that we even got this far. I am, I promise, just sore about losing in overtime after drastically outshooting our opponents. My stomach sounds like it's trying out for sound effects for a horror movie, LOL, and I need it to calm down because I'm going at least 3 places about 12 hours from now. That adventure is why I'll be taking the evening off from blogging again, lack of time to prepare the photos and notes and such. More Uber Goodies

Hiya everyone! Tonight we've got a few more treats to see from the Uber Event, all of which are available to you for free with no group tag required. Their 10th anniversary round is a momentous occasion, and is being celebrated with gifts from nearly all the participating designers for us to enjoy :) I am very grateful as always, and offer my best wishes to the Uber team for their continued success. We have about 2 weeks to grab our gifts and any demos for things we might wish to shop, as the fun wraps up on the 13th of September.

For my first look of the evening, I feel flirty in the Limited Addiction - Slow Burn gift. This top and skirt with each fit Lara X, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The sleeveless top has a fun opening to show off some cleavage, and the brief fluttery skirt is low slung and has both plaid and solid steel blue materials. 

After the week I've had, something soft to snuggle with seems like the perfect gift, so I'm very thankful for the DFS Stuffy - Foxy Uber (2024) - GIFT. It has a built in hold pose as shown, and the ridged texture looks extra plush and cuddly. 

I also claimed the beautiful *JustBECAUSE* Genevieve Dress UberSL gift, and how could I resist showing it off? The pale pink gingham fabric is decorated with ripe strawberries, and the single shoulder strap is surrounded by ruffles on both sides. Our gift includes sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies.

If the Valentina E. Anya Dress Forest gift looks familiar to you, it could be because they are offering a different color (hazel) as a gift for another event (FLF Bday Bash) and I shared that one a few days ago :) It looks just as lovely in deep green, and comes in Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizing. The style makes me want to twirl around with my arms up, dancing or just showing it off.

My final look of the night is the free gift from Kaithleen's called Ethel Dress - Plum. It is a playfully styled shirt dress in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. They've also provided a HUD with 20 color choices each for the collar, sleeves, and cuffs, so on the right above I changed them each to a different hue. There are 4 metals for the zipper in the front too, always a thoughtful addition when we have metallic features that can be switched up a bit. 

It was a decent day for the most part, and I did get to go out briefly with my mom as we'd planned :) We took a drive to the park, and sat in the parking lot for a little while watching dogs and looking at various things on her phone. I definitely felt anxiety while the car was moving, but relaxed when parked and was doing breathing exercises, reading my index cards (statements suggested by the therapist like "just because I feel uncomfortable doesn't mean I am in crisis") and focusing on things other than my anxiety symptoms. Tomorrow I'll be seeing her again for dinner and will thank her again, and we might do this again next week or at least in the near future. Happy 12th Anniversary FaMESHed

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the FaMESHed Event to help them celebrate their 12th anniversary, which is such an impressive and noteworthy accomplishment :) If you join their free group, you can head to the north where there is a sim crossing that leads to an area with lots of generous gifts. As of this morning you needed the group tag to enter that area which is why I didn't link it directly, so my link is the main one for the event itself. Once you've got your group tag on, you can walk up to the gifts and generally enjoy exploring the event. I saw plenty of tempting offers along the way, to help you jazz up your wardrobe and living space with something new.

For my first look, I chose the female gift from Ash. called Eden Dress - ALL. I did specify gender because there's a male gift also :) So this dress has some really fun options, as it comes in an original version and a 'less cloth' version for each size - Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Mounds bodies. The less cloth version is on the right above, shorter hem (one less ruffle) and flirty opening on the bodice where the white bib is on the original. We even receive a HUD with 4 colors for the collar, so that means even more versatility :) I feel like this dress would be handy for various types of roleplay in addition to everyday wear.

Next I brought two lovely gifts together to create this look. The top is our LEROY - Eva Cropped - Pink gift, a brief tank top with lavish ruffles on the shoulder straps. The bold color is wonderful! We receive Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes of this cutie. As for the shorts, they would be the *COCO*_Gift_LowRiseDenimShorts_TealGreen, a gift ready to make Daisy Dukes look like granny pants ;) The name does sum them up quite nicely, and I love the way the front is open and folded down just enough to still hide the essentials. These fit Lara X, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies.

I kept on outfit #2 to add the wonderful treat from ::WetCat:: which is their "Smells like Spring" Bento [Gift]. The little blue bouquet is held in the right hand, and has an adorable animation that has us sniffing the pretty blossoms. I absolutely couldn't resist sharing!

How about another pairing of two different separates from among the gifts? The *Just BECAUSE* Eden Top - FaMESHed Gift is also perfect for spring with its bare arms and midriff, and of course the soft floral pattern. It is provided in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I'm wearing it with the terrific [JUSTICE] DAWN PANTS - MINT gift, with separate pants, belt, and chain each in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. Please note - the chains are no copy, so you cannot use the unpacking HUD to copy them into your inventory...please rez out and unpack the traditional way so you don't miss out :) There is a HUD included too, with 6 metals and 20 colors for the belt, so we can change the look as we wish.

My final look is a combo too, but both are gifts from the same store, Have Unequal. Their [HU] Haven Top_Mint is provided in sizes for eBody Reborn, Lara X, X Petite, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, with a HUD offering 2 textures (leather or crocodile) and hide/show options for the waist and sleeve, plus 16 colors for the stripes and 6 for the metals. I have the sleeve hidden on the right, just to show you the difference :) Then we have the [HU] Haven Skirt_Mint which is a great mate for the top, in similar sizes - eBody Reborn, Lara X, Legacy, and Maitreya. It also includes a HUD, show/hide and leather/crocodile for the upper and lower portions of the skirt. I know I did crocodile on the right but I genuinely can't recall what I hid on the right, lol, I suppose the upper which is draped diagonally atop the full skirt on the left. Sometimes I get a little carried away with the fun of HUDs and distract myself ;)

Whew, I am definitely ready for the weekend! We had a birthday celebration for a family member at dinner tonight, so I had a very tasty meal with just a bite of an overly rich cake (chocolate with peanut butter icing) and I now feel like I need a nap, hehe. I'll be writing up a shopping list for the housemate shortly for the Saturday farmers market, then Sunday is therapy where I get to tell them all about my new primary care doctor :) My weekends tend to be busier than weekdays, but we have a new month in SL with loads of places to explore next week so I am eager for that. Christmas at FaMESHed

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings Christmas wishes from the current round of the FaMESHed event, which is open until the 27th of the month so we have plenty of time to browse and enjoy. As for the free gifts I'll be sharing in this post, well there is a gift area with lots of boxes that you can click to receive treats with no group tag required. Many of the boxes are empty for now, so don't worry if you cannot click some of them. There are still plenty that are filled, and I'm grateful for every single one of them :) I still get a kick out of the need to capitalize the word MESH in the middle of the name, as apparently some people were pronouncing it fame-shed like the little building in your backyard only famous. The real story behind the name is that they focus on original mesh creators in SL, so the mesh part is the key of this wordplay based name. I get it though, we read things in SL far more often than hearing them spoken aloud so it is interesting to learn how we are meant to say the names. 

It was really cold when I went outside for a RL walk earlier, making this cozy sweater even more tempting :) It's our *COCO*_Gift_HolidaySweater_Blue treat, a slightly cropped crew neck sweater in a lovely shade of blue with white snowflakes and green trees in the knit pattern. We receive Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes in this thoughtful gift. 

Another gift that instantly caught my eye while unpacking my haul is this sexy //Ascend// Avery Off Shoulder Dress - Red. The bodice looks like it is buttoned but fit to burst, with one of the straps slipping off the right shoulder daringly. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The deep color looks burgundy in my lighting, which is suitable for so many seasons and reasons :)

Pink Cream Pie knows that some folks spend their Christmas holidays in warm locales, so it looks like they're helping to motivate us to do just that while enjoying their Rae bikini. The top and bottom are separates that fit Legacy/Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, all with a red and green ombre fabric that says Ho Ho Ho in white, in various fonts. There is something so classic about a string bikini, tied just so at the hips and in the back like this ♥.

Next I slipped into the beautiful *Just BECAUSE* Geraldine Dress - FaMESHedGift which shows off its seasonal flavor with the combo of red and green. There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included, all with that great swath of ruffled fabric diagonally both front and back. The hemline is slightly asymmetrical, adding visual interest to a dress that is already loaded with it. I'm imagining they started with the concept of a simple tank dress, then had to decide how to make it unique for us. 

My final look of the night is the charming gift from neve called FaMESHed snow. This sweater is very versatile thanks to its HUD, with 4 colors and then buttons to show/hide the cropped (white strip), frays, collar, and cuffs. I've hidden the frays and the collar on the right, with all features shown on the left. It is provided in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizing. With this sweater as well as the one in my first photo tonight, I'm wearing the blue pair of Delizio jeans from their free fatpack we can find on the marketplace (and that I wore in last night's post). 

It was a quieter day than yesterday, since my only outing was a brief walk in fairly cold weather. That isn't very conducive to a long comfortable stroll, hehe, so I kept it quick and really need to find some gentle stretching exercises online. Tomorrow is therapy, so I'm hoping to find something relatively simple to blog for the evening while I'm unwinding from whatever happens during the therapy session. I expect another walk will be in the cards, so I wish it were going to be warmer than the 39 degrees predicted. It's exactly freezing right now, lol, which is not surprising. FaMESHed Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are unwrapping some presents from under the Christmas tree at the FaMESHed event. They are free for members of the event's group, which is also free to join, and there are several gifts among the boxes surrounding the tree. It is worth mentioning that some are just decorative and don't contain anything, so just keep clicking and it is mostly the inner ring closest to the trunk of the tree. This event has about 2 weeks to go, as it is open until the 27th of the month. 

My first look starts with the Have Unequal gift called [HU] Frost Dress_Mint HoHoHo!! which can be worn as a dress or a short top with a single click of their HUD. There are eBody Reborn, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite sizes, and the HUD I mentioned offers the dress/top option and show/hide for the belt and thong as well as lots of colors: 21 for the edges, 35 for the sleeves including several patterns/ombres, 21 for the belt, and 21 for the thong. We even get to choose from 5 metals for the belt hardware, so this is one super versatile gift! My necklace is also a gift, the charming TORI TORICELLI // Hanna Choker // FATPACK. It comes in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite fits, with a HUD to choose from 24 colors each for the choker and stone, plus 3 metals for the frame and chain. I really appreciate the ability to change the look like this, and I feel like this choker has retro or goth vibes but will work well with a modern style too.

This gift is the GIZ SEORN: 'Brandie' Belted Jacket, and it has versions with and without the tank top layered beneath so you can decide just how flirty you want your look to be :) Each version fits Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and there is a handy HUD that offers 20 colors each for belt 1 and belt 2 along with 24 for the tank top and 5 metals for the belts. That double belt is a really fun touch, and I think this will look nice with lots of different styles of pants, jeans, or leggings layered beneath. 

Another top that I was able to get away with showing off as a very short dress is the lovely *Just BECAUSE* Yolanda Sweater. The red and white striped trim immediately calls to mind a candy cane, and suits the solid red knit so well. There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included. I'm leaning towards my white jeans to wear with this, to complement the stripes and look great for these chilly evenings.

I know I just mentioned cold weather, but this next gift is definitely suited to turning up the heat indoors :) It is our gift from Glitzz called Jordana Lingerie - White, and consists of the bra, panties, and garter each in Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn sizes. They can be worn individually too, and the lace of the bra and panties is just the softest wisps of fabric with beautiful texturing. I would like to mention that last week I shared one of their Advent calendar gifts from their mainstore and said you needed their free group to claim it...as it turns out, no group is necessary so if you were avoiding them because of lack of group space, go go go!

My final look this evening incorporates the bra from the Glitzz gift (see, they are pretty separately too, and yes this is rather minimal coverage up top LOL) to pair with the flirty (*<*) 1313 Becky Skirt - Christmas Red from 1313 Mockingbird Lane. That store name always makes me chuckle, as I immediately recognized it as the address of the Munsters from their tv show long ago. Their unpacker HUD will have you dancing around while you choose from Maitreya, Legacy, or Perky to unpack, then each holds versions with and without panties. As you can see from both views, the hemline of this pretty pleated mini is daringly short so you just may need those panties to wear in public ;) 

Yesterday evening I received some sad news, my godmother passed away after a long battle with lung cancer. She was 80 and had smoked for I'm going to guess at least 3/4 of her life, trying several times to quit but never really succeeding. She was very petite, well under 5' tall (I think 4'9") and slender, so they couldn't even do certain treatments on her but they did attempt some experimental things. Even knowing it was inevitable, I am still struggling a bit since we hadn't seen her in a few years (thanks, pandemic) so I already missed her. My godfather's birthday (her husband) was less than a week ago, and the timing between that and the holidays is just heart wrenching. My suggestion - tell someone you love them today, before it's too late, even if they know it and have heard it before. FaMESHed Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a part two, as I had more FaMESHed group gifts for their holiday round to share. Just have the free FaMESHed group tag active, and click all the pretty wrapped gift boxes you see at the various displays. Unpacking them all will be a treat in itself, seeing all the thoughtful ways that the designers are wishing us happy holidays! The sim might be extra crowded since the event opened recently and it's the weekend, so I recommend trying their cam sim if the main one is full and you cannot get in. 

Several designers realized that we would need nice warm sweaters for this chilly holiday season, and -Pixicat- tucked a trio of them into their gift box. Click it and you too can claim their Aria Sweater (Xmas) which includes red, green, and black versions all sized for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The reindeer and snowflakes really set the mood, and I like the way the length falls just to the natural waistline.

Our gift from Just BECAUSE is their flirty Cami Sweater, with one shoulder slipping off because of the wide V neckline. It comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Physique bodies, all with the soft knit pattern that makes it look so snuggly. With all that exposed neck, I figured it would be flattering to add a necklace, which I did thanks to [Glitzz]. Their gift for us is called Amelia Necklace - Gold, and she is resizable with a HUD that offers 17 gem choices. With all those options, this treat will easily match whatever you decide to wear it with. 

I am also a fan of the gift from *COCO* which is their White Collar Sweater - Christmas Tree. It is really a lovely effect to have the crisp collar layered beneath the bold red cropped sweater dusted in white trees. the gift includes sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite bodies. The white jeans making appearances in my first three photos this evening are one of the many colors in the Delizio fatpack from the marketplace that I reach for very often (and with good reason!) since they are a well-loved free gift. It provides system/BOM layers along with Maitreya and Omega appliers for each of the colors. 

Wow, the gift from Kaithleen's is a sexy stunner! This is their Rhapsody Dress - Bubblegum, a sheer pinstriped mini that clings to every curve and has a single detached sleeve with the option via HUD to hide it if you prefer a sleeveless look. The dress comes in eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite sizing. I took this opportunity to display another jewelry gift, the Doriana Necklace from KUNGLERS. It is actually a pair of necklaces, with a gold version that has white pearls (seen on the left) and a silver chain with blue pearls. I am wearing that on the right but the blue beads are not visible from behind, so you will just have to try it on for yourself to enjoy it ;) 

For my final look of the evening, we start with the elegant Seniha. Yeliz Gown // Dark Blue gift. It has flirty cutouts on both sides of the waist, with pretty ruffles where the spaghetti straps attach to the bodice. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizing. I paired it with the wonderful gift from Cae called Tressa Collection, a necklace and matching earrings with resize scripts built in. They also come with a HUD that offers 6 metals and 15 gemstone colors to choose from, for plenty of variety. 

It was a quiet and rainy day here, and I missed not going to the farmers market but it was my decision so I am not complaining. It was probably better to rest and recover than be around people, even with masks, so I chose the dull but safer path. I have a few different possibilities for my next few blog posts, so tonight I will be making decisions and having fun exploring SL as usual. Halcyon Days with Shop and Hop

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are back at the Winter Shop and Hop event, this time with gifts from the Halcyon sim. That is one of their 6 sims with a total of 120 designers offering discounted selections for your bargain-hunting pleasure. In addition there are gifts at nearly all of the displays, so be sure to keep a look out for those :) The event runs until the 6th of January, so no need to worry if the holidays still have you super busy for now.

First we have 2 of the very generous 3 gifts from Ella, so please be sure to click all 3 boxes. On the left I am wearing their Duone in Black, whose top and skirt are each provided in Freya, Isis, and Maitreya sizes. The bare shouldered top and floral trim on the skirt are such pretty touches. The look on the right is the ella Rouxe in Red, which has the appearance of two pieces but they are connected and worn as one, in the same sizes as the Duone set. The bright color is very fitting for the holiday, but the style lends itself to year round wear, so you can enjoy this whenever you prefer.

The third Ella gift I am delighted to show you is their Roxy // Silver, which possibly due to my windlight settings is appearing more of a gold on my viewer. Believe me, it is striking no matter what color it appears! The design is a very revealing one, with cups that look like gold leaf attached to a skirt that is basically front and back panels held together by a few straps on each side. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing. It made me chuckle thinking of looking like a chocolate holiday coin, waiting to be unwrapped!

The next gift comes from the [Lomomo] display, and is their Oriane Dress. It comes in a Maitreya rigged size in deep green, trimmed with gold and awash in playful ruffles. The double breasted style means two rows of pretty buttons down the front, and the full skirt accentuates those ruffles nicely.

If you are looking for a flirty top and are fond of the color blue (as I am), stop by the Masoom setup and give their gift box a click to claim their Emilia Top - Royal. It comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya bodies, and the long sleeves make for a fun contrast to the cropped length and open laced neckline. Fortunately navy goes well with many other colors, so I was happy to wear it with both versions of our Snowflake Leggings gift from Mossu. The blue and pink are each included in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes for you to choose from, and will look great beneath whatever type of top you decide to wear with them.

For my final look of the evening, I paired two more gifts found on the Halcyon sim. The top is from Gaia and called Catty Neck Top GIFT, provided in sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is also a HUD for the neck patch, with several wording choices (some NSFW) in black or white, as well as the option to turn it off and wear with a solid red band. The pants are from Just BECAUSE and are their Quincy Leggings - Snowflake Pattern. These include sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Physique, Legacy, and Maitreya, so a nice selection of popular mesh bodies. The waistline is just slightly beneath the navel, so neither overly high nor overly low which suits this weather perfectly.

It was a busy day and not particularly fun, especially the podiatrist appointment where I had 2 ingrown toenails dug out of my poor neuropathy-riddled toes. No wonder I am not into feet, LOL! At least the evening improved with an exciting hockey game, so I am in a decent mood for being so achy. I am still struggling to figure out my schedule for the next few days, so for now I will just say that my next post should be around this time tomorrow evening but beyond that is still in the air. FaMESHed Freebies

Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit the FaMESHed event for its December round (open until the 27th) and see some of their delightful group gifts. The group is free to join, and many of the participating designers have small gift boxes in front of their displays that you can claim with the group tag. I was really pleased with all the thoughtful treats that we can use to celebrate the holiday of our choice, and hope you enjoy them too.

First we have the playful gift from VINYL which is their Hellershanks Sweater Dress Pak. The long top with one bared shoulder and tied at the hem is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Legacy mesh bodies. There are modesty panties included too in the same sizes, with a HUD that lets you choose from 16 colors for them. By the way, the image on the sweater shows a status bar partly filled, and says "LAZY DAY loading..." :)

For my next look, I chose the Dhoma gift called Shayla Robe Green, which includes two flirty versions. The closed (shown) and open (untied belt, breasts still covered but panties revealed) each come in sizes for Freya, Maitreya, and Hourglass mesh bodies. The texture has a satiny shimmer to it, with nice stitching at all the hems.

Kaithleen's is offering their Cindy Dress - Mint as a free group gift this round. It comes in eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with a HUD that offers 9 color options for the stripe in the middle of the white edging. As you can see from the side view, there is a slit on each thigh that adds visual interest and probably makes walking a bit easier in such a snug dress :) The stripes have a sporty feel, and I appreciate the variety in the colors.

There are a lot of terrific tops among our group gifts, such as the ChristmasDeer Sweater from Just BECAUSE. The white silhouette of a reindeer with magnificent antlers looks beautiful against the knit red background. Our gift includes Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing.

My final look of the evening is the Dead Dollz gift called Luka Sweater - Indigo. It is included in a single Maitreya size, and I love the contrast of the extra long right sleeve compared to the mostly bare left side which is tied gently at the cropped hem. The color shows as a lavender or periwinkle shade for me because of my windlight settings, really lovely. In this photo and the previous one I am wearing my favorite marketplace freebie which is Delizio jeans in one of their several colors (black) that are included in system layers plus Maitreya and Omega appliers.

I had a very difficult morning in SL, a weird technical glitch where I tried on a system layer tattoo and things went wonky. It said the item couldn't be found in their database, so I deleted the whole folder and unpacked a new copy that did the same. Then anything I removed (was unpacking things via HUDs) made 2 errors pop up about the tattoo not being in the database. Then I turned gray except my hair and nails, talk about odd! I relogged, cleared inventory cache, nothing changed. It finally accidentally fixed itself when I deleted the links to it from the current outfit folder (that shouldn't have existed since it never appeared on me) and added another unpacking HUD that must have caused my current outfit folder to reset itself. Whew! Unpacking comes before taking photos of course, so had it not been resolved I would have been unable to post anything tonight.
