More FLF Bday Bash

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's my pleasure to share some more group gifts from the FLF Bday Bash '26 event, free for all who have their FLF group tag active. Just about every display has a cool summery treat dispenser, a cup of shaved ice (we'd call it water ice in my neck of the woods) that you can click to receive your goodies. Over 100 designers are taking part, offering $50L bargains along with the gifts :) What are you waiting for? Hurry on over!

So I'm starting out with the ELEVEN - Elara Dress [FATPACK] gift, ideal for those times when you just want to hang out with friends or someone special and have fun :) The t-shirt dress and sweater wrapped around the hips are one mesh piece, in sizing for Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies. There are 2 HUDs provided as well, with 16 solid colors for the top and 16 patterns for the sweater. You'll notice that both say "New York Est. 2015" on them, but it is fairly subtle on the lighter shirt colors. I love that there are lots of plaids to give us a grunge flashback, but still plenty of other patterns like florals too.

For a more upscale destination, be sure to grab the KLEIN"Lily"Dress gift to wear somewhere special. The color is hard to describe, a dusky grey-green almost dark khaki hue, and I think it will stand out nicely among the ubiquitous LBDs (little black dresses) you usually see on a night out. This beauty has a diagonal hem trimmed in ruffles, and fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Senra mesh bodies. Our elixir / halle top / all bodies gift is a sleek fitting short sleeve crop top in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, V-Tech, Reborn, V-Tech, and Waifu mesh body sizes. The enclosed HUD offers 24 colors for us to choose from, so it is a very generous and versatile fatpack. All of them will look great with the classic neutral LEROY - Rebeca Pants - White, the third of the 3 gifts I mentioned (and shared 2 of) in my first FLF post a few days ago. I showed the lilac version of these pants then, and I'm still in awe of how versatile this style is :) From behind it looks like classic work-friendly pants with those pale pinstripes, but the front view shows the sassy openings down each leg. Next we have the stunning Vague. Jhennie Dress Purple, a gift that almost made me wolf whistle at myself ;) I love halter styles, and this dress has a deep neckline and fun midriff opening beneath a pert bow. My final look of the evening is the KILLJOY gift called Dreama Lux Dress, and is actually a fabulous duo of dresses. It's a good thing that I am mostly feeling better today, because I'll be going out for the afternoon tomorrow. That naturally means an evening off from blogging since I won't have time to prep photos and notes. I do need to prioritize RL occasionally, and I'm trying not to feel guilty about that :) We should have clear and sunny weather, not too hot, and I am glad to have an outing that isn't a medical visit like next week's dental visit. FLF Birthday Bash

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're helping Fifty Linden Fridays celebrate their birthday by visiting their FLF Bday Bash. There are over 100 participating designers with brand new $50L offers in every booth, plus group gifts for free if you join their FLF group for just $1L. That tiny fee is to keep out scammers and spammers, so I view it as insurance. The event is still pretty crowded since it opened so recently (the 16th) but now that the weekend is over it might be easier to get in and move around without bumping into people :)

For my first look, I am wearing the flirty Vague. Califa Top & Skirt gift. Our sleek tube top and miniskirt with bold slits on each thigh are each provided in Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh body sizing. I couldn't resist that vibrant deep purple shade, and the knit texture gives a stretchy appearance that suits this style quite well.

I kept on the skirt but changed tops to the ELEVEN - Ruth Top here, with a different shade of purple that is equally beautiful. The cropped tank top has a tiny heart pattern that make me very happy, and it's cut low enough to show off your favorite necklace as well as some cleavage ;) Claim this gift and you'll receive sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn bodies.

This gorgeous gift is our CryptKeeper // No.19 // Maggy Silk Dress. This shade of green looks like it'll be flattering for just about every hair color and skin tone, and the style is sure to turn heads with the single long sleeve and bared midriff. My final look of the evening is our KLEIN"Lily"Red gift, a playful treat with diagonal ruffled hem and intriguing side opening. In sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Senra, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, it really does fit a wide range of body brands while looking utterly fantastic :) I think the combo of red and ruffles makes me think of dancing, like samba or tango or one of those flirty ballroom dances.

It was a decent weekend here, and I am a little nervous about my first anxiety support group session tomorrow. I am not even 100% sure I won't chicken out, lol, but it is there if I am interested. FLF-O-Ween Part Two

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more FLF-O-Ween gifts to enjoy, all found at their wonderful event in various colored carved pumpkins. They are free if you join their FLF group for just $1L, which if you ask me is a fantastic bargain for all of these generous goodies. There are new releases for $50L each at over 100 booths, as well as all of these group gifts, so I highly suggest visiting and getting your gifts and demos then returning before the doors close on November 1st :) 

My first look this evening is the Vague. Tamera Dress FLF gift. It is a delightfully spooky tube dress with lots of bats shadowed on a dark background, with a particularly low neckline. We receive sizing for Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies. 

I kept the Vague dress on but added a very special accessory, the Hanna Shrug, Black gift from [The Forge]. It is a lovely covering for our shoulders, arms, and part of our hands, as you can see it loops around the thumb but leaves our fingers usefully free. There are eBody, Lara X, and Legacy mesh body sizes provided for this gift, all with 3 silver rings holding things in place in the front. We can wear this over top of so many different styles of tops and dresses, either strapless or spaghetti straps and anything BOM layered would be fun too.

I have more bats to share, thanks to our -Pixicat- Maret Dress gift. This swingy style dress has flared sleeves and a deep square neckline, perfect for showing off your favorite seasonal necklace perhaps? I'm loving the intense plum shade, dark but still showing off the black bats beautifully. This treat will fit Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Flat X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu bodies.

Next I changed into the lovely Apple Blossom // Emily II No.17 gift dress, in a fun checkerboard pattern of green and palest blue. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies included, and as you can see the left side of the skirt is slit all the way up to the waist. This means if you want to keep certain private parts, umm, more private LOL, please add some pasties or a C-string of some sort :) My avi really needed a beverage at this point, so I just had to taste what's in our EAMONI. Trick or Treat Tumbler. It is definitely topped with whipped cream and colored sprinkles, but the rest is up to our imaginations, so it could be a smoothie or iced coffee, or rich milkshake or even a blended treat like a blizzard. I think our striped straw might need to be wider if it was something too thick though, so I've decided that mine is a decaf iced chai latte.

For my final look of the evening, I'm showing off my new manicure :) This thoughtful gift is the Veechi - Acid Drop Gels mesh nails, sharp stilettos that fit several male and female bodies: Belleza, Gen X, eBody Reborn, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Belleza Jake, Kario, Legacy Male, Signature Davis, Geralt, Gianni, and Slink male. Just hide the nails built into your hands with the body's HUD, then add the corresponding mesh attachment in the gift. Then you can add the HUD to select from 5 colors, all dripping with a soft shimmer. There is also a HUD included to hide/show individual nails. I just saw a RL tutorial on how to do this type of design recently, so it made me chuckle to see it so much easier here in SL.

FLF Bday Bash

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to celebrate, thanks to the FLF Bday Bash '24. The general theme is camping, and there are free group gifts we can claim by clicking the lanterns at each display. The lanterns have a camping feel, and the group is the FLF or Fifty Linden Fridays group, a sales event that has been a huge part of SL for 15 wonderful years now. I'm so happy for them and their longevity, and glad to be able to share some gifts and tempt you to do some bargain shopping while you're there :) The event just opened, and runs until the 13th of September.

My first look of the evening is the beautiful Asteria "Hope" FLF'24 Bday Gift, consisting of both the one-shoulder top and choker seen above. Each fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Senra mesh bodies. I'm loving that twist in the front, and the bold flower on the choker! 

Next I slipped into the "Edna" Top-Jacket White gift from KLEIN. This snowy colored pairing can be worn together or separately, on Classic, Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Senra mesh bodies. The top is a slender tube, while the jacket is cropped and has 3/4 length sleeves so it is still suitable for warmer weather. I couldn't resist adding a pop of color though, thanks to Kibitz and their gift FLF bash Beads necklace. This treat comes in eBody, Lara X, Legacy, and unrigged versions, all delicate teal beads with a small golden clasp in the front. The choker fit means that they will go well with many different necklines, meaning the outfit possibilities are endless :)

One more top I couldn't resist sharing is the Palette - Amore Top [Peach]. This sweet and sassy shirt is tied on each side and gathered all around with pretty ruffles. Inside this gift, you'll find eBody Reborn, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. I'm wearing all of these tops so far with my favorite marketplace freebie find, the Delizio jeans, which is a fatpack but I'm wearing the white ones here. System/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega in 9 colors, very versatile and much appreciated.

I'm also eager to show off a couple of dresses, like this lovely Valentina E. Anya Dress Hazel gift. The color is a deep bronze-brown that does remind me of hazel eyes, and the tiered skirt is a beautiful touch :) Our strapless beauty comes in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

My final look of the evening is the wonderful gift from Vague. called Chontei Dress - FatPack. One slender strap goes from the left bodice over the right shoulder, and the left side has two daring openings showing a little extra skin. There are sizes for Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Peach, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies, plus a HUD offering 12 pretty colors. I appreciate the variety, and think this dress was the perfect excuse for utilizing my Legacy body again this evening :)

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was decent, although I wish the weather were a bit cooler by now. Therapy was another deep dive, and we decided that to ease the burden on housemate, I invited my mom to go to the park this week as an outing. She agreed and chose the day (Thursday) so I think things are looking good :) I'm looking forward to it, and it's been years since I've been in her old minivan so it will be a bit of a sentimental journey too ;) It is important that the outings are something I actually want to do and not just tolerate, so they are more motivating and beneficial. More FLF-O-Ween Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am showing off more FLF-O-Ween group gifts, as there were simply too many for one post. That is the case with most of the events I've been enjoying lately, as I'm sure you've all noticed, and October is as busy as it is spooky when it comes to events with gifts :) The Fifty Linden Fridays group is free to join, and its tag will let you claim more than 100 gifts from carved pumpkins (orange, green, or purple) at each display at this well-decorated event. With so many $50L sales items available, you can get your wardrobe and living space ready for Halloween without putting too big a dent in your linden balance, which I greatly appreciate. 

My first look is the lovely Gorsimi - Lex Set (HALLOWEEN EDT.) gift, whose top and skirt layer together perfectly. They are each provided in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Mounds sizes. The solid black of the top is a perfect backdrop for the silver cross attached at the throat above the keyhole opening, and the ghosts flitting about on the skirt are certainly a playful touch that I'm enjoying greatly.

From ghosts to skeletons...I excitedly changed into the Vague. FLF-O-Ween - Gift, which is a fishnet dress atop a bodysuit that looks like two pieces from the front but one from behind. It all wears as one sexy piece, in sizing for Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Peach, and Reborn mesh bodies. The rear view shows that it is a thong, but the fishnet and its sexy seams keep that slightly less visible.

I kept that on to show you some accessories, all of which are part of the #LuLuB! - Gaia - Fatpack gift. The picture turned out wider than average so please give it a click to expand :) So the gift contains aura and a candle with holding animation each in darkness, fire, golden, nature, pink, and purple versions, with spell candles in English and Spanish. I'm wearing the golden aura and nature candle to the left, and pink aura with purple candle on the right. Yes, I found they mix and match quite nicely :) The spell candles are also held, but when you click them you'll receive a folder with a notecard that gives instructions for a RL spell for the new year. I'm not familiar enough with witchcraft to be certain but I'd guess there are ways to tweak it for other times of the year, or you could just hold onto it for a couple of months.

Next I slipped into my ever-handy Delizio jeans (marketplace freebie, white pair shown of several shades included) to share the [JUSTICE] MIRA HALTER - FLFO Ween - GIFT. At first glance the pattern looks like classic roses on a dark background, but look closer and you'll see that the roses are looking back at you ;) That's right, they have eyeballs in each bloom, and there are what might be wings with dark feathers in the pattern as well. We receive sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Legacy Petite, Maitreya and Maitreya Petite bodies of this intricately styled dramatic beauty.

For my final look of the evening, I'm pleased to share the Asteria"Misha"Purple outfit, which has 3 components each packaged separately. The choker, sweat dress, and garters will all fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The choker and garters have metal HUDs with the same 4 options for each, while the dress has a HUD for its built in panties - 8 colors or an X to hide them completely. I love the colors here, and am curious about the year chosen 1987 for the middle of New York and Empire State...it's not ringing a bell offhand (I was 16 and a few states away from NY as I still am) so it could be personal to the designer or simply random. 

Today turned out to be a fairly rough day for me, so I'm still in recovery mode and hoping things in this post all made sense and came out well. I have an ingrown toenail that I suspected might be infected, then this morning I stubbed it. OUCH. Being clumsy is sometimes a nightmare, and let's just say I saw evidence of infection when I changed the bandage which was initially there to provide a little padding. So as soon as possible I must battle agoraphobia and get my toe to the doctor, while feeling ill and terrified. Sound fun? The housemate is out of town until Thursday, so I cannot even get there yet and have not called to schedule anything, however they are usually good about emergencies or urgent visits. This is the third infected ingrown nail I've had in the past several years, and the other two were each within days of a visit to have all the nails trimmed so this wasn't me neglecting my health, just really cruddy timing. FLF Birthday Bash

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm delighted to invite you to the FLF Birthday Bash '23, which is the 14th birthday celebration of the Fifty Linden Fridays sales event. It is such an impressive milestone to reach, out of the 20 years that SL has been around, so of course I was excited to be able to share some treats with all of you :) Naturally the name of the event comes into play with a bounty of $50L offers, deeply discounted from the original retail price of these creations, and for the birthday bash you can join their free group if not already a member and claim lots of wonderful gifts. These are at each display in a purple skateboard, just click each one you see and receive your group gift :) You can't miss the bold purple color, and most are set to the group tag but a couple were for sale for $0L available to all visitors. Every time an event celebrates a birthday or anniversary, it leads me to marvel at their longevity and I get a little SL-sentimental from all the amazing memories.

Do you want to believe? Our gift from *NeverWish* certainly does! It is their I Want to Believe Crop Top, which says exactly that (I want to believe) in white across a fading X so possibly a reference to X-Files, yet I feel that it can apply to many things if we so choose :) It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. Of course I needed a lower portion of the outfit, so I gratefully slipped into the PROMAGIC Ananda Skirt Yellow gift. I feel like that sunny hue is having quite a moment lately, and this flirty miniskirt is a particularly bright shade of yellow that draws attention just as much as that cheeky rear view ;) There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and J-Rolls included. For many destinations you will need some undies for modesty, and for this combo I'd go with black to match the shirt.

Next I kept the sassy skirt on but changed tops, showing you both of the cheezu. 2023 FLF B-BASH GIFT options. Their hera top comes in versions a (left) and b (right), fun cow prints with a dainty bow at the center of the neckline. Each of those will fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies with ease. I am a fan of just about all animal prints as nods to nature, so these were instant favorites.

It amused me that Lady Marmalade came on the 70s music channel I have on, just as I start describing this pair of gifts that are both worthy of a sexy power ballad :) The top is our Vague. Jadori Top gift, which comes in sizing for Kupra, Kupra Squeezed Corset, Legacy, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy bodies (no Maitreya, so I swapped back to Legacy body before starting to take the photos). There is also a HUD that lets us pick from 14 wonderful colors, so the gathered tube top is as versatile as it is alluring. Then I tried on the delicate Asteria"Juhi"Panties-Purple gift, whose wings in the front made me think of a golden snitch because of the roundness of the fabric beneath it. There are Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes of this thong styled panty in my favorite color.

Leave it to Entice to remind us that summer is time to be sexy with their charming Malibu Bikini v2 - Smoke gift! The itty bitty top and bottoms each come in Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, with a great texture on this tiny triangles of wispy plumes of smoke on a dark background. Please pass the sunscreen!

The evening's final look is a gift paired with a sales item for a playful combination. The dress is our Raquel Dress gift from ELEVEN, whose sassy cat on the front elicited quite a chuckle when I zoomed in. The short t-shirt style dress has built in panties, and is included in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. Of course I had to share a closeup so you could see what I was laughing at :) Then I added the Entice - Walking On Sunshine Sandals Set - Pinks for a pop of color, one of 8 sets available (Blues, Coastal, Desert, Earth, Mono, Pink, Reds, and Sunset) at the birthday bash for $50L apiece. If you really want them all, via fatpack, it is also discounted at $299L so it's like getting two of them for free. I used the Blues set for the closer view inset, just for added variety. The sandals come in Gen X, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizing, with a HUD that offers 3 main colors plus two (black or white) each for the soles and insoles. The closed toe but open heel makes me think we can easily enjoy this style year round, and the many potential colors make it a great wardrobe staple.

Hair note of the night: this is another Truth Hair collaborative effort with the brand FAGA, and an especially affordable one since it's also found at the FLF Birthday Bash for $50L per individual color pack. It is called Lonely, and has the sides pulled back on a feathery shoulder length style that reminded me of my late 80s hair. I had fun playing with the stylist tab of the HUD as well as the tinting of the hair accessory, and was glad I picked up both the blonde and redhead packs.

Another day and another virtual appointment here, as my busy week marches on. This was the family doctor, and went pretty well with lots more apologizing for the prior call she forgot to put on the schedule. We are slightly adjusting some meds and trying a couple of new things, with a lot of talk about tomorrow's first therapy session. It is both exciting and nerve-wracking for me, as any meeting with someone new can be for an introvert even without all the anxiety issues, but I am doing my best to stay positive. I have to make sure the video chat program installed properly on my ipad, and of course that it's fully charged so the session doesn't get interrupted by tech fails. Another Serving of CAKEDAY Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I want to show you some more of the multitude of group gifts you can find at the CAKEDAY event for their anniversary round. There are so many gifts to claim, and the group is free to join so there is absolutely no cost for these generous treats. There are also some impressive sales offers for men and women, and much of the ladies' clothing is created for curvy or full-figured mesh bodies. I noticed a lot of Kupra sizing, and I am wearing my Slink Hourglass body again tonight which is compatible with many of the offers and group gifts. Tonight I was in the mood for cosmetics too, so you will see lipstick and nails that might tempt you as well.

First we see the sexy gift from Vague. called Synamon Set. Its top and panty are each provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, in a deep raspberry color. The fishnet top has built in X pasties, and the panty zippers in the front with flirty straps all about.

Tres Chic Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am pleased to be back and able to share some gifts from the Tres Chic 6th anniversary round. We need their free group tag active to click all the gifts, found inside a stack of 4 boxes with letters on them (2 by 2) which you will see in front of nearly every display. My looks this evening are focused on the wonderful group gifts :) This round is open until the 10th of June, having just opened, so we have plenty of time to explore and enjoy. 

My first look is both terrific dresses from Pink Fairy, whose gift pack includes their X Tina Dress - Leopard and X Tina Dress - Flames. Each dress and separate sleeves (so you can wear with or without) come in sizes for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. I really like the versatility with the detached sleeves, and the way the back is loosely laced together. 

Next I slipped into the Candy Kitten gift, called *CK* Naughty heart dress HOLO PINK. This sexy halter mini has a heart shaped cutout with lacing that matches the right hip slit, and that holographic texture is terrific! The gift is provided in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizing. 

ANRAF is offering a generous group gift too, consisting of 4 versions of this ruffled strapless dress. In addition to the two you see above, there is a solid red version and another with the heart pattern on the entire dress. Well it was certainly a much better day blog-wise than yesterday, LOL, although I still feel terrible about the last minute issue preventing me from blogging. I would have felt worse if I had not checked one last time and gone ahead and blogged items that would no longer be available within a couple of hours of my posting though, since I try to give you as much time as possible to claim any limited time gifts. Otherwise my day was similar to the previous two, with the crew still working on cleaning up the yard and the dead trees that had to be cut down, which is very noisy and I think somehow they aren't done yet. Tomorrow I have a podiatrist appointment for my ingrown toenails (a chronic issue thanks to very curved nail beds) which will probably be rather uncomfortable but worthwhile in the long run to avoid infection or further issues.
