Group Gifts Galore

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're taking a look at treats for two multi-designer groups, visiting 3 different stores, so it is variety squared ;) The groups are ShopaholicsSL and Mesh Body Friends, both of which are currently free to join. As you can gather, there is some crossover with some of the designers being contributors to both groups (among many others) and so it is handy to have as many group slots available as you can when visiting some generous stores. I was so excited when they gave us all more group slots, and then of course I used them all up quicker than a hiccup. *shrug* It's too tempting to join all the groups and claim all the goodies!!

My first stop was Hilly Haalan, where there is an entire building dedicated to group gifts for several groups including their own. The Shopaholics treat is called [hh] Brielle Set, and it is a beautiful pairing of ruffled top and skirt with built in panties. Each piece fits eBody Curvy, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. There's also a HUD provided so we can select from 12 colors each for the top, upper ruffles, bow, lace trim, upper strap, lower strap, back strap, ruffles with white band, skirt, skirt strap, skirt lace, and panties. We can also hide the panties and the upper strap, so there are so many possibilities here for us to enjoy :) 

Over at Alias!, I grabbed not just one but two gifts for different groups. The Shopaholics goodie is the adorable Bunny Hug Pastel Green outfit, and words cannot explain the cuteness here ♥. I shall try though ;) The long sleeved crop top is provided in 3 classic and 3 fitmesh sizes (each S, M, L) for classic avatars along with Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. The shorts have a similar set of sizes - 5 standard mesh, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. They each have bunnies of course, on the front of the shirt and on the front and back (booty bunny!) of the cinched shorts. Then we have accessories, specifically the unrigged slippers with floppy bunny ears and tail in the back, and a sweet bunny to hold onto :) The mint green really shows off the white rabbit nicely, and I wore parts of this outfit last night to do a MadPea murder mystery game because I am a bit bizarre at times. I left the bunny safely at home (well, in the folder) so he didn't see all the grisly murders, and decided that sneakers were more practical than slippers that might absorb the blood and be hard to clean.

Another Alias! treat you don't want to miss out on is the Lovely Baby Blue outfit for the Mesh Body Friends group. Its jumpsuit, jacket, boots, and bear chain (waist) each come in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'm always drawn to any pattern with hearts on it in any color, and this shade of blue is such a bright and cheery one :) I switched to my Lara X from 5.3 for this photo and the next one, then back again for the last one since I just go with whichever sizes are provided. I enjoy them both and use the same shape for both, so it isn't a big deal for me.

More hearts, yay! This time we are visiting {Chaotic}, whose Akia dress is their gift for Mesh Body Friends. The rainbow of hearts on the white background can be an early nod to Pride month, or simply a treat for those of us who crave color in our wardrobes :) The strapless style has a white top to match the ribbons tied around each upper arm, which are linked to the dress so it is all worn at one time. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.

For my final look this evening, you'll want to switch back to your Shopaholics group tag to click the {Chaotic} Samatha sign and receive your new gift. The wispy dress and thigh high boots are each designed for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There's a HUD with 4 choices for the dress coloring, all of which are going to look wonderful with the neutral black boots and their spiky stiletto heels. The rear view might be a bit on the revealing side, so please choose your destination wisely when wearing this little number ;) I think back in the day they would call this look 'hotter than a two dollar pistol'.

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I stumbled across an irresistible FabFree group gift and let that be the theme of the post, so I picked up a few more to show you as well :) The group is free to join as always, and there were several new gifts added just this past week so there is a huge variety available as usual. If you are looking for fashions, accessories, or home decor, you'll find all of the above and more as group gifts. There are a few clothing options for the guys too, so be sure to browse their gift listing and see what tickles your fancy.

First we have the gift from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. called KEEP WALKING Tee. I think the heart shows the main reason I'd tell someone to keep on walking, as my heart is already taken, but whatever reason you wear it is entirely up to you :) There are 5 standard mesh sizes included, as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes in this fun gift. The flirty Alias! Miss Independence Gold gift certainly caught my eye too, just in time for seasonal exploring :) The bra, panties, top, and skirt will each fit Legacy/Perky/Pushup, Maitreya/Petite, Reborn and Juicy mesh bodies, and the bra and panties make a great swimsuit. There are tiny stars on the bra and panties, while the tied top and skirt are both solid gold.

Next I headed over to YoU By GeMyles, where their current FabFree gift is this flirty Alix Dress. The knit tube dress comes in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with a 15 color HUD to change the look easily and quickly. We combine casual with eye-catching in the fun gift from Belle Epoque which is called Candy - GG. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite of the top with Legacy and Maitreya sizing for the leggings, all in perennially popular leopard print. The solid dark brown belt is attached to the pants, which are cropped to almost capri length so we can show off a little ankle ;) Just about any shade of brown or gold shoes will pair nicely with this outfit, and I'm thinking some gold jewelry if the occasion calls for it.

My final look of the evening comes from K-Ks Designs, their strapless mini called Pam. I admit after wearing plaid school uniforms for years, it was a while before I could enjoy it as an adult, but now I am a fan of its ability to show off so many colors at once with clean lines :) The gift is provided in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, and like another earlier tonight we must pay $1L to claim it but that is refunded instantly. I don't mind that since it helps the vendor keep track of things and most of the time we can get it redelivered if anything goes wrong with our original. Alias! Gifts and Prizes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Alias!, who offer group gifts for several different groups and have lucky chairs that do not need any particular group tag to win. I had initially visited at the start of a FabFree group gift spree, lol, but immediately won a couple of lucky chair prizes so I stuck around :) I claimed another group gift too, for Mesh Body Friends which is free to join. The gifts and prizes are mostly full outfits with shoes, for which I am very grateful as it makes it much easier to get dressed with matching footwear. The idea of sharing FabFree group gifts is still in my plans for the next post, just a slight sidetrack in the best way.

My first look this evening is the Alias! Bloom Sky outfit, the FabFree group gift that led me to their wonderful store :) The dress is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, while the coordinated shoes will fit Freya, Isis, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. The bare shouldered dress has a great floral pattern with solid mauve panel down the front, just the right hue to match both the flowers and the shoes. 

With the free Mesh Body Friends group tag active, you can also claim their Alias! Sweet Love Grey outfit. The dress comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique body versions, while there are panties beneath that fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. Then we can add the matching shoes in Belleza, Maitreya, or Slink high feet sizing. The pale pink shade looks lovely against the grey, and aren't those hearts on the overskirt cute?

It was wonderful timing to win their Alias! Maple w/Blue Jeans prize from one of the lucky chairs, right in the beginning of fall :) The tank top and capris are each included in standard mesh sizes along with Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. Then we can add the strappy shoes in Belleza, Maitreya, or Slink high sizing. The top has a HUD to tint the texture, and there are several buttons with different background colors of the same yellow maple leaf print that I really like. The cuffed capri jeans have a belt built in with extra chains draped along each hip, very flirty!

The lucky chairs offer "?" wildcard rounds where anyone can have a seat and win, so I genuinely cannot remember if I got this Alias! RockSkull Black/Purple from sitting for a D or a ?. I mention that just so you know that if you see that question mark, you can win no matter what your legacy name begins with, letter or number :) This gift consists of the top in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and low rise jeans in 5 classic sizes and a fitmesh version for classic avatars, plus Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. There are also shoes for Slink flat feet, not shown as I am not wearing a Slink body at the moment. You can pair this fun outfit with any shoes you wish.

My final look this evening is the Alias! Cherry Flower Dress lucky chair prize. Its short sleeveless dress comes in standard mesh sizes plus versions for Flow, Maitreya, Slink, and TMP mesh bodies, with pants as appliers for Maitreya, Omega, and Slink. The pants are lace trimmed capris that also have a wide lace waistband that is hiding beneath the dress, lots of nice details to be found in this outfit as with all of our gifts and prizes :) When you hear "pink floral" to describe the pattern, you might be picturing something much lighter and on the cute side, however this can still appeal to those who prefer their clothing to be less girlie. 

I have been keeping an eye on the weather/news to keep track of the hurricane, and my heart goes out to everyone who is in the path of this storm. I have a childhood friend who now lives on the East coast of Florida, but she personally has had very little damage and posted on social media just an hour ago that all is well. Fabulous and Enticed

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was in a group gift mood, so I decided to check out some gifts for the FabFree group. That is the in-world presence of the Fabulously Free in SL blog, which has been a mainstay in my daily reading for many years now since I love to keep up with their helpful posts. Being a member of their group entitles you to lots of great gifts from a bevy of designers, with new ones added all the time. My nails were in the mood for a little attention too, so I also made sure to pop on my Entice group tag (free to join) to claim their Valentine gift which is near their front desk but just for a few more days. Intrigued? Well let me show you what I found...

[satus Inc] was my first stop, where I claimed this flirty Sara Wrap Mini Dress Pink For FabFree. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, in a romantic color decorated with strands of white hearts. The wrap style makes for an interesting hemline, which I am definitely a fan of. 

I also visited COVETED! where I found this alluring gift by their front desk, called BLACK Trist Camisk Dress. The halter strap attaches just above the daring opening in the front, while the back is completely solid, so it is a really fun style. This gift consists of sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

If you are feeling a bit romantic in a non-traditional sense, be sure to grab the FabFree group gift at Alias!. This outfit is called Bloody Skull, and includes the dress, panties, and shoes you see here. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a selection of group gifts to share with you, starting with some fashions for the FabFree in SL group. The group is free to join, as you can probably guess from the name, and it is the in-world presence of the FabFree in SL blog which I have been avidly reading for many years. The website and the group both provide information about sales, gifts, events, and all sorts of special offers, while the group tag entitles you to gifts from an impressive number of designers across the grid. I also have a beautiful set of manicures from ~Mani Pedi~, which is a gift for their in-world group members and their subscribers. I really enjoy their nail polishes, and I hope you do too!

My first visit was to NUTS Inc, and it is quite a struggle not to make a pun about how I am nuts about their Calla Dress :) It is the ladies gift for FabFree (yes, that distinction means there is one for the men too) and is provided on a handy delivery HUD so you choose the body brand you wish delivered to you. There are buttons for Altamura, Belleza, eBody, Maitreya, Slink, and TMP, and clicking one will deliver versions for that particular brand plus a HUD with 6 color choices. The strapless style is very shapely, with a ruffle across the bodice and a bustle of denim in the rear. 

:::Revelation::: also has a terrific gift for FabFree members, called Aila Outfits. Its top and skirt are each provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with a HUD that offers 14 colors each for the top and its ruffle, then 11 textures each for the skirt's top, bottom, and lacing string. There are solid colors and patterns among the skirt choices, while the solid colors for the top match them beautifully. A quick tip to find this gift in the store: there are gifts in packages on a low platform in front of the wall with group signs on it, and this one is in the front row in a black package. If you click the wrong one, it will just tell you that you have the wrong group tag on, so not a big deal.

Next we have the lovely [WellMade] Fab Dress, aptly named as the FabFree group gift. There is a HUD with 3 colors of the same floral pattern to choose from, and how fun is that lacing up the back? The dress is provided in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies.

It is time for a closer view of these sensational polishes from ~Mani Pedi~, their February 2020 group gift called Signature Shomei Polish. It includes appliers for Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, with 7 vibrant colors that are all taken from the store's original logo, as is their tradition with group gifts. They all have a pearlescent shimmer to them, and a metallic division between nail bed and paler tips. To claim these, you can either join their free store group, or sign up for their subscriber which will deliver you regular updates about their nail polishes and their L.S.D. clothing line. Fun fact, there are often matching nail polish sets available for their clothing releases so you can coordinate your look completely.

Changing plans makes my poor head spin, so it was an interesting day...I am still confused on what day of the week it is, but I know the next few days are going to be quite busy. As a matter of fact, I will be taking the evening off from blogging on Saturday, but tomorrow I should be able to post something for you :) It is hard to believe that February is almost over already, and we're almost to Leap Day. Hiya everyone! Tonight on a whim, I decided to see what was new for the FabFree group and share some gifts with all of you. They are in the inworld presence of the incredible FabFree in SL blog, which brings us information everyday about sales, gifts, and special events happening across the grid. Many of their participating designers offer group gifts for the free group, so I chose a handful of those to show you in this post. 

My first look is the current gift from ~KaraBaby~ as of this afternoon, however it is called Fabfree Gift November 19 so it is possible that it will be changing soon. This gift includes sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The pattern really caught my eye, with adorable foxes playing among sunflowers and pumpkins. 

Next I visited Artizana, whose FabFree group gift is their Ahimsa IV Mesh Dress. It is actually worn as two separate pieces, the top and skirt, which are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. Dream Couture is offering us this pretty Off Shoulder Dress with HUD, so we can choose from 7 colors for the woolen knit texture. The dress is fitted for the Maitreya mesh body, and has a loose style with tiny ruffled trim across the top.

I also claimed the gift from Paper.Sparrow, their White/Coral Lazy Days PJ set. There are other colors for various groups so be sure to see what other group tags you can switch to and pick up while you visit ;) The outfit is a single mesh piece that comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. The fabric looks so soft, and I like the button details of the top with the tie on the pants.

Feeling Thankful

Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to choose a group I am thankful for, FabFree in SL, and share some of their current group gifts with everyone. Their group is free to join and is the in-world presence of the FabFree in SL blog, a longtime favorite read of mine that I highly recommend to learn about gifts, sales, special offers, and events throughout SL. Whether you are new to the grid or an experienced resident, you will find useful information there :) There are many designers who have gifts waiting for FabFree group members, just visit with your tag active and look for the rainbow FabFree sign.

My first look is our gift from ! SALTY ! in their temporary location in the air while the Flawless sim undergoes a little renovation :) Her name is Luna and she is a sleeveless gathered delight in black with built in belt. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

Such a pretty way to show off a bare midriff and hourglass figure :) This is the gift from Alias! called Oh Fall, and it is quite versatile since it includes a HUD with 10 autumnal texture choices for the top which all look great with the long black skirt. The top and skirt each come in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions.

GLITTER has two gifts for FabFree, the newer of which is this lovely Lindsey Fitmesh Dress Bluette. It is provided in 5 classic sizes and 5 fitmesh sizes for classic avatars, plus mesh body versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The layers at the waist remind me of tulip petals, such an intriguing style!

Another little black dress that is far from basic, this is the BWC In Black Dress. The sheer floral panel on the top complements the lacy hem beautifully, while making this dress somehow both flirty and modest. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies.

My final look this evening is a revealing one, the Black Lace Bustier Negligee by COVETED!. It is included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Legacy mesh bodies, and has various levels of transparency for a seductive feeling. Again, I am a fan of all the little details, like the unique straps and the lace beneath the bra cups. 

As I mentioned in my title, I am feeling thankful for many things this year as we approach Thanksgiving. The fact that my grandmother is still with us at 93 and after surviving a stroke a few years ago is a miracle, and getting together with family and friends at her house will be a special occasion for sure. I have a houseguest arriving momentarily to join us for dinner, and they will be here until Friday night so will be understandably busy the next couple of days. Right now my plan is to skip blogging tomorrow but probably post the following evening, but if that becomes too much of a challenge I will try to give a heads up on twitter. Our Thanksgiving traditions are a bit complicated as a blended Italian-American family, so we have: fruit salad, Italian wedding soup, pasta with meatballs and sausage, then the turkey and sides (potatoes, stuffing, veggies, etc.) and homemade cranberry sauce, finishing up with several desserts. All of these are homemade, organic where possible, locally sourced, etc., so it is quite a feast and one that takes all day to eat. I will probably be there for 8 hours or more, so you can bet I'll need a nap after all that! I generally take tiny portions of most of the above while totally skipping others, and lots of leftovers always make their way to everyone's homes.

Back to the gratitude I want to express...I am very fortunate to have family, friends, and Xan in my life, and I am grateful for whatever remaining health I have. I really need to mention how much I appreciate all of you who read my blog and give me a reason to do this, it provides a sense of purpose in my sometimes bleak existence and I thank you. If you celebrate, please have a very Happy Thanksgiving, and if not I still wish you a beautiful day of course. Sending many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to show you some of the many terrific group gifts currently available for the FabFree group. It is free to join, and is the inworld presence of the Fabulously Free in SL blog which I have been a huge fan of since joining SL. They are a valuable source of information regarding gifts and sales all over the grid, so we can look beautiful and even furnish our homes affordably. To claim these gifts, just wear your group tag and look for the rainbow FabFree sign in each participating store.

Our first visit tonight is to YM SHOP, where you can claim their Edis Outfit with your FabFree tag. It consists of the top and bra (the bow in the front is from the bra) in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Fox, and Werewolf, with two versions of the leggings in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. The platform heels are also provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the earrings and clutch (purse) seen here are included as well.

You can head to the islands with the gift from Vips Creations, which is called Chanel - Hawaii. The halter style jumpsuit comes in a fitted version plus sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, and our matching shoes are in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high sizing. The tropical flowers are in such a bold, vibrant color that it will be fun to wear in any season.

Next we stop by Alias! where we can find their lovely Stars and Stripes bikini set as their gift for the group. It includes the bikini top, bottom, and sarong, each in standard mesh sizes plus versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. While the main holiday for this outfit passed a couple of weeks ago, I think we need a bit of patriotism from time to time in this country, and without the sarong it is simply a blue suit with tiny white stars :) Also I am still hearing fireworks in my neighborhood tonight, so it seems some of us are celebrating the USA all summer.

Tiar has a lovely FabFree gift too, their Tuta dress. It is strapless and very short with a loose fit, trimmed in solid lavender. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.

My final look of the evening is the FabFree gift from Artizana called Marcia (Rage). It has a tube top with shorts and suspenders as a single piece, in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. Also included but not shown is a matching headwrap, so this is a very generous look :)

My busy day included a birthday celebration at my parents' house (not my birthday) and tomorrow I will be on the go all day.
