Aloha everyone! :) There were so many gifts available at the Aloha Fair 2017 that I needed a second post to show you more of my favorites. You have over a week left to visit the event, a beautiful sim with displays (tiki hut style) from a wide range of designers from all across the grid, offering exclusives and gachas and yes, gifts inside beach balls for $1L each or occasionally free. I greatly enjoyed my visit, and may even return for a bit more shopping. Meanwhile let's see what else I found in those beach balls...
Tank tops are a traditional staple of a summer wardrobe, so these are welcome additions to my inventory. On the left I am wearing the $1L gift from Gypsy Chic, called Knotted Good Vibes Aloha Special Gift, which is included in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP versions. On the right is the LustCo Tropical Mika Tank, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine along with standard mesh sizing. With both of these shirts I am wearing another terrific dollarbie Aloha fair gift, from January called Denim Jeans Ripped HUD. The HUD is for Maitreya bodies only, and has 7 different denim shades to choose from. These don't actually look ripped to me, although the images on the HUD did, but I must say there are times when I need a more high waisted pair of jeans which these are. I was very pleased with them for that reason as well as the range of shades of the denim.
These are the same fun jeans, in one of their darker options, topped with another Aloha Fair dollarbie gift. This is the Pechu Shop -PS- Shana Crop Top Hippie Purple, and it comes in sizes for eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, plus a Standard S and Standard L. The twist of tie dye makes these colors really pop, and I think it will pair just as nicely with a skirt as it does with these jeans.
Mishchino is offering this thoughtful tunic as their $1L gift at the Aloha Fair, the top of the safety pin reads "You are safe with me" and the bottom says "I stand beside you". I have a bracelet and a pin in RL reflecting this exact sentiment, so it touched me ♥. The brightly colored tunic comes in sizes for Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. Wear it as a short dress, or wear it as a top with your favorite tights/jeans/shorts/leggings beneath, it is slightly longer in the back which adds a touch of visual interest.
Maybe you are in the mood for a nice flowing sundress for a warm summer day, well head on over to the Black Rose Designs display at the Aloha Fair and you can claim this pretty Rose Summer Dress for free in their beach ball. It includes standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. Handkerchief hems are so comfortable yet stylish, and you can easily dress this up or down depending on the accessories you choose.
One last look of the evening, this is our free gift from MOoh! called Rainbow Bikini. This sexy string bikini includes plenty of fitmesh sizes for just about any avatar: standard, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. It offers moderate coverage both front and rear, and I have always found rainbows to be cheerful and mood-boosting.
Today I had an acupuncture visit and stopped in to see my grandmother after, convenient since her rehab facility is just a few minutes away from the acupuncturist and I always do enjoy visiting with her. She is doing okay, still very limited mobility on the right side but she does daily therapy to see if they can improve that. Recovery rates I found online for stroke victims were not promising though, so I am grateful for any improvement she may make. Hiya everyone, or should I say Aloha? :) Tonight I am showing you some of the many gifts available at the Aloha Fair 2017, which is loaded with exclusive offers from a wide array of designers. Most have a gift for $0L or in most cases $1L in a beach ball at their display, a few are in their own packaging but mainly I would say to keep an eye out for those striped balls. The sim is a real pleasure to explore, a lush tropical landscape with all the sights and sounds you would expect from a shopping expedition to Hawaii. The event opened a few days ago and runs until the 11th of August, so you have some time yet to enjoy the experience.
Brii Underground is offering not just one but two $1L gifts for visitors, one of which can be seen here called Lamona Jockey Club Summer Style Complet Outfit. This beauty starts with the dress in plenty of mesh sizes (5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, eBody, TMP, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine) and continues with an array of accessories. The bracelets on both wrists, earrings, necklace, sunglasses, and even matching shoes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High are provided as well. Artizana has this lovely Uisce III Summer Dress tucked inside their beach ball, absolutely free to all visitors. The dress includes system layers, an Omega HUD, and a multi-HUD for Lolas, Phat Azz, WowMeh, Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink. There are a generous amount of skirt panels included as well, 5 standard plus 5 TMP sizes plus 5 Slink sizes. The standard medium was a perfect fit/length for my Maitreya body. This metallic delight deserves to be shown off at your favorite nighttime hot spot.
We know that I am very fond of versatility, especially color change HUDs for clothing. So it should be no surprise that I love this dollarbie gift from Gaall*. This is their Row Top & Shorts, and each piece is provided in standard mesh sizes plus Maitreya and Slink Physique, and also included is a HUD with 15 different color options for the top and belt. They change together so just one quick click will coordinate your outfit with ease. This outfit has a fun hippie/Boho feel that appeals to me, and I hope it does to you too.

Hiya everyone, or perhaps I should say aloha! I visited the Aloha Fair 2016 this morning, lots of goodies to see everywhere among the lush scenery of huts and palm trees and beautiful flowers. Many of the designers have placed a gift out for us, either in a big beach ball or the surf board from last year, a few even just in their own packaging, either free or $1L. I did see a few for $5L or so too. The tropical theme lends itself to so many possibilities, and I am showing you a sampling of the many gifts I picked up.
First we have a sweet retro style bathing suit from Gypsy Chic, their $1L gift for us. It is provided in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, so helpful for all the mesh bodies and various sizes around the grid these days. My bracelet is one of 12 found in the free gift from MOoH! because it is their Zodiac set of Rainbow Friendship Bracelets. I am wearing the Aquarius (waves for the sign of the water bearer) as my real life zodiac sign, I think my avi would be Libra based on an early September rez day. I love the colors and the fun styling!
Next we have another dollarbie gift, this time from Kara Baby, a flirty bikini simply called Aloha in system layers and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Omega. The pattern on the top is eye catching and very flattering, and the bottom covers just enough.
*LX* has a great gift out for us as well, their Melanie in Sea. This dress is provided in mesh body sizes only for the fair, Hourglass and Maitreya and Physique sizes, and a HUD with 6 lovely color options. I added another gift found at the Aloha Fair, the Tropicalia Necklace from Lyrical B!zarre Templates, which is a terrific offering that matches the atmosphere of the event quite nicely.
Everyone needs some nice flip flops for the season, and I found 2 fun pairs at the fair. On the left, you see the BLAM flip flops from Mutiny in Heaven, which are provided in classic, Belleza, and Slink sizes for a great fit. The pattern does indeed say BLAM on it :) The cuties on the right are Slipper Originals' gift for us, their Aloha gift in Maitreya, Slink, and TMP sizes. Those starfish are a great touch!
Sometimes we just need more cute in our lives, and Les Sucreries de Fairy will gladly provide some with their Coconut Bear gift for all visitors to the fair. She is hiding in a coconut surrounded by leaves and beneath a few flowers (Cala lilies perhaps?) but those biiiig eyes just beg for hugs! Simply add the item from your inventory with your AO off and you can snuggle this lil love too. I am still wearing the Melanie.Sea gift from *LX* in yet another color from that fun HUD of theirs.

Hiya everyone! I have some more gifts from The Aloha Fair to show you, a mixture of freebies and dollarbies as that decision was left up to the designers. Yesterday I focused on free gifts, today is mostly the $1L ones. There are plenty to enjoy from a wide variety of designers there.
These jumpsuits are both found in the surfboard from B!asta, so for $1L you get two beautiful outfits in breezy colors. I love the hibiscus print on them, and the colors are terrific.
At MOoh! you will find this delightful little dress in their surfboard for a single linden. Those ruffles and that color, so fun for the season and great for everyday wear or something a bit fancier too if the mood strikes.
It wouldn't be a summery event without plenty of bathing suits, so if you'd like a sweet mesh bikini with a refreshing watermelon print on it, head on over to the Rir stand. For just $1L you get standard mesh sizes plus a fitmesh Slink size for each the top and bottom. As you can see, it's sexy but not too revealing, nice rear coverage, and that lace in the front is a fun addition. Speaking of additions, I accessorized this with some cool shades from J&A Rock Culture. They are a free gift and come with a HUD for 4 different colors, two of which you can see above and the other two are a cheery yellow and a pretty blue.
For those days when you're feeling sassy, head on over to .Sass and grab this free pair of t-shirts with their logo on the front and a message on the back that you've been sassified. This gift provides both system layers and appliers for Omega and TMP in each color.
Finally I have two playful free gifts from surfboards, a cute hand fan from Duh! and a Summer Camp shirt from {D.o.R.k.} that comes in system layers only. I tried camming in to read that banner beneath the words Summer Camp, but no luck, so that remains a mystery to me. The fan has an animation built in but my AO overrode it easily so it's fine if you prefer no animation.
Nail note of the night is the same as yesterday's, another free gift from the Aloha Fair courtesy of Kitty's Claws. I'm still loving those 10 floral patterns, and the HUD itself is quite fun.

Hiya everyone! Summer certainly is a season of abundant fairs and events with really tremendous fashions. This morning I visited the Aloha Fair, where you can find surfboards in most of the stands that have gifts for either $0L or $1L. So not only are there some beautiful fashions, but the generous designers are also rewarding us for visiting! Let's have a look at some of the gifts I picked up...
This terrific outfit from Sweet Temptations is definitely my style, with its casual denim vest and billowy Boho pants that have a cute tasseled belt attached. I think for everyday wear I'd add a system layer tank top or short sleeve crop top for modesty, but that's just me :) Isn't the texture of the pants gorgeous?
I found this cute set in the surfboard at SHEY, the Keska sport pants and top. Standard mesh sizes are included for each, and this isn't limited to just summer. Enjoy it year round and decide for yourself if you feel like working out or just looking fit and fine in it.
You probably aren't surprised to see that I found a bikini, and this one is gorgeous! Silk Dreams is giving us this Joy Bikini in Emerald for free, in system layers with attachments for the bows in the front, back, and side ties on each hip. This is a sexy, alluring suit that is revealing but not excessively so.
Lots of goodies here, first of all we have a gift of 5 shirts that I'm only showing you one so you can be surprised by the other colors/patterns :) On the left, that is the pink top with frills from one of two gifts from StarsFashion. The others in that pack are black, brown, grey, and leopard. On the right, that shirt is another gift in the surfboard from StarsFashion, simply called July Gift 1. Those lovely flowers in my hair and around my wrist are the gift from Graffitiwear, the Pink Double Hair Flower and Bracelet. Even my shoes are another Aloha Fair gift, this time from Pinks, called Flavia pink flowers and is for Slink high feet. The jeans are not from the Aloha Fair and will be credited separately :)
Finally, this sweet shirt is our gift from BN Designs and is called Sheila blue. All the little details really make it wonderful, from the layered look and the stripes to the buttons so nicely textured. These designers have really spoiled us!
Nail note of the night: it's another Aloha Fair gift, a HUD with 10 floral patterns from Kitty's Claws, a very appropriate and fun name for a designer of Slink manicures. As for my jeans in the last 2 photos, they are a free gift (a Midnight Mania oopsie apparently) from TLB The Little Bat, set out in front of the Midnight Manias. You know that means I'm gonna suggest you click said MM boards, hehe, and check the 4 lucky boards on the floor. It's a great place to explore for gifts, bargains, and just great fashions in general.
I am planning on going Premium in SL soon, but I have been trying to make heads or tails of the info about the 512sqm tier and what can be done with it if you opt out of the Linden offered home...the few people I've talked to who are premium already weren't sure either. I'd ideally like to either buy or rent a parcel, depending on the details. I am hoping my current landlord replies soon, as a landowner in SL already I'm confident that she'll have some answers but with my luck she's probably on vacation this week or something.
