REDEUX Event Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a limited time event to tell you about, as I just received a notecard today so I only just found out about the Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2020 by REDEUX. There are 4 buildings surrounding the landing area, all of which hold displays by various designers offering lots of discounted merchandise from clothing to accessories to home decor and more. There are also group gifts in cardboard boxes at just about every display, just give each one a click with the free group tag (local chat will have an invitation to join when you land) to receive something special. I am sorry for the short notice and truly hope you can visit quickly to enjoy this sale!

My first look this evening is the charming Fire Within gift called *FW* Willow, one of two gifts inside the same cardboard box at their display. The other is for the gentlemen, so please pass that information along to anyone who may be interested :) Willow here consists of a blouse with flared elbow length sleeves barely held closed by long ties, and a clever skirt that appears to be jeans converted into a skirt by adding a long scarf or shawl, with each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. 

The treat from Only Your Imagination could be Christmas themed because of its colors, but can certainly be enjoyed any time of year if you wish. Their OYI - Holly Jolly dresses come in red and green versions, each v1 and V2 for long or short sleeves, and all of those options are provided in Legacy and Maitreya sizing. That plunging neckline is the perfect frame for my new tattoo, the group gift from Slide Store Tattoo called ::SsT:: Line Breast Tattoo - BoM. the cleavage-skimming artwork comes in a single system layer, compatible with classic avatars or BOM (Bakes on Mesh) for mesh bodies. You have probably noticed by now that I am a fan of BOM and find it very useful for quickly adding multiple makeup or tattoos or clothing layers while being able to see from the "Worn" tab of my inventory exactly what I am wearing. 

[WitchCraft] is brightening my day with their Ari Dress group gift, thanks to its fun sailor style with flirty touches. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a 6 color HUD so you can change your look whenever you wish. The top has a bare back beneath the halter neck's collar, and I love how the front bow is mirrored in the back where it ties together. The pleated skirt has a crisp white stripe that appears on all 6 color choices, with a cute pair of buttons on the left side of the waistband. 

Holiday seasons can be busy and tiring, so we deserve a little something extra pretty to relax in too :) This is the Fatal Fashion gift called FF Original - Top & Shorts Light Blue, and it has a simple elegance to go with that soothing color. The top and shorts each come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The top is cropped daringly to reveal just a flash of under-boob, and the high waisted shorts are cut quite high on the thigh which make them even more flirtatious. 

My final look of the evening has two group gifts for you to see, adorable tops that both go really well with my Delizio jeans which are free on the marketplace. The top on the left is the LYBRA. Cozy Sweatshirt, which is fitted for the Maitreya body. It has a fun pattern of hearts with a few in bright red to match the sleeves and trim, and would be great for snuggling with someone special. The cutie on the right is our group gift from zOOm called Little Deer Cropped Sweater. He must be a reindeer with those decorated antlers and fun collar (Santa's perhaps?) and the red nose made me think Rudolph. The sweater comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. I have already been complimented on how cute this sweater is by a random stranger in a store, so I am glad I'm not the only one who enjoys the whimsical side of this season.

Each new week, I approach as a new opportunity for positive experiences, and this week is especially exciting because it brings a new month too. New rounds of events and hunts are just around the corner, and December means Advent calendars all across the grid with a bounty of free or very low cost goodies. I probably will not be able to blog very many of those because of my morning schedule having shifted a bit this year, but I will try to get a few in and will share websites to help you find those calendars too. More Dumpster Diving

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more prizes from the Dumpster Diving Hunt to enjoy. It is a free gridwide hunt in which we are looking for small blue dumpsters, by following the hints provided on their website which also tells you which stops have male, female, unisex, or multiple hidden prizes. There are landmarks in each prize folder, which should be up to date but if you ever get stuck the website is the place to go. I really do enjoy the Mischievous Mayhem hunts, of which there are several throughout the year.

This evening's first look comes from the dumpster at Fire Within, their lovely *FW* Willow outfit. It consists of the loosely tied blouse and skirt of denim and patterned flowing fabric, each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The front of the denim portion of the skirt is laced up in a color that matches the blouse, such a pretty little touch.

Next we see the female prize from Dragonmoon Designs (a male prize is hidden separately here) called [DD] Country Dirty. This softly ruffled dress comes in sizes for Altamura, Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. There is also a HUD provided with 2 shades of denim, both shown above. The style really caught my eye, especially the slender strap across the bare back.

The prize at Ambient Fashion is their DDH19 Marietta Romper, which comes in a dramatic eggplant shade of purple. Inside the gift you will find standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. 

My final look of the evening shows you two different hunt prizes. The outfit is from Barbed Wire Kisses, called {BWK} Sil Outfit. The top and skirt are each included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, in a wrapped bandage style of blue and green fabric. The body art is from Leave Your Mark Tattoo, their When It Rains tattoo which is provided as an Omega applier for most mesh bodies. It reads "Stay Strong" on the belly, which is certainly good advice these days, and has a myriad of various art styles on the arms and back.

I enjoyed my usual Friday dinner at my parents' earlier, homemade stuffed shells are always a treat :) I am tired but have a few more hours of things to do before I can get a nap before the morning's farmers market, so it will be chaos with a touch of caffeine. Siren's Song Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some prizes to share from the Siren's Song Hunt, a free gridwide hunt in which we are looking for sand dollars (seashells also known as the sea cookie, snapper biscuit, or pansy shell) by following the hints on the website. That site is also useful because it tells you if the prizes are male, female, unisex, or multiple in one location. There are 21 stores taking part this round, and each prize folder has the landmark for the next store inside, labeled MAYHEM and the number. The prizes are impressive, and generous for being free, so I hope you find time throughout the month to explore the hunt path.

My first look is a shimmery dress from The Sissy Bar named Siren's Song Hunt so you will always remember how you found this treasure. It looks to be materials enabled, light reactive fabric, and the gathered ruffle across the top is lower on one shoulder for a playful look. The prize includes classic sizes S, M, L, fitmesh sizes S, M, L, and mesh body versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Voluptuous, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine.

I also found the sand dollar shell at Mirror Mirror and claimed this Jellyfish Swimsuit for free. It comes in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with aquatic creatures and bubbles on a simple white background. The style is strapless but modestly crafted in the rear, so it would be suitable for a family friendly beach too.

This lovely swimsuit is the ladies' prize from ~MystRie~ called Seamist, and yes my specifying that does mean that there is also a prize for the gentlemen in a different shell. Our outfit includes the top and bottom each in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. I love how the sheer layer around the top acts as delicate sleeves.

You need even more swimwear selections, you say? Well obviously this hunt shall provide :) This uniquely styled suit is the *DU*Mermaid Doll from Defient Unicorn, just find the sand dollar and you will receive it in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. Those mermaid scales look positively 3D, really well done.

My final look of the evening shows you two prizes, starting with the teeny bikini from Fire Within. Their *FW* Ginger PVC is a sexy string bikini in a terrific color, sized for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. There is also a mens' prize hiding in another sand dollar at Fire Within. I paired the bikini with a pair of sandals which are our prize from Barbed Wire Kisses, called {BWK} Pana Sandals. They are provided in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink flat, and are crafted with pretty colored beads and silver pieces. They will match many of the prizes from the hunt (among other summery looks) since this color family is prominent among them.

Cupid's Conspiracy Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some prizes to show you from the Cupid's Conspiracy Hunt, a free gridwide hunt organized by Mischievous Mayhem hunts. We are looking for cupid's arrows, which have a golden heart as a tip and red feathers as the fletching on the other end. Those are usually the easiest parts to see, which is why I went into such detail :) There are hints on the website as well as on the signs at each store, and the website will also guide you with details on if the prizes at each stop are male, female, unisex, or if there are more than one at the particular location. You can also read about the idea behind the hunt's theme on the site, so that's another great reason to have it open and handy while hunting.

First we see the prize from Cats n' Kittens Boutique, their CnK Red Velvet Cake Set. Before unpacking this, just based on the name, I was expecting decorative food, LOL, but this is just as tasty! The panties and covers each come in red and white, in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. You could mix them up, but in this case I like the red with red and white with white as my personal preferences. 

This eye-popping outfit is the gift from #bye when you find their hidden arrow. It is called Cupid's Conspiracy Romper, and is provided in standard mesh sizes plus versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. This design will make it Valentine's Day every day of the year if you wish!

Next we have the prize found at Barbed Wire Kisses, the {BWK} CCH19 Zinovia Dress. Inside you will find sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with a triangle cutout in the front and crisscrossed straps in the back. I'm a big fan of the smoky plum coloring as well.

The flirty prizes just don't stop! This is what awaits inside the arrow at The Sissy Bar, a mini dress with studded straps holding it (barely) closed down both sides. That design on the front is fantastic, and I love the suede texture. This gift includes sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine.

My final look of the evening is a prize from Fire Within, their CCH 19 Female Gift which also indicates that there is a male treat inside the arrow as well. The soft grey knit texture is a cozy touch.

Wash and Disgruntled Elf Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have some more wonderful selections from The Wash Cart Sale and their Winter Wonderland round, open until the 2nd of January. You can find clothing for the whole family, accessories, home decor, and much more, so you can make it a family field trip :) I also have another free gridwide hunt for December to share with you, the Disgruntled Elf Hunt. You will be looking for gift boxes in various colors, using hints from their website or the hint givers on the signs at each location. The site will tell you if the prizes are male, female, or unisex, and how many boxes you can find at each store since some have the male and female separately.

One of the many terrific choices on the CatsClaw Designs cart at The Wash is their Amy Strapless Dress fairie style w txt hud, just $10L. On the left I'm wearing their *AS* Melanie Fairy Green Glitter, on the right is Melanie Fairy Red Glitter, each only $10L. They come in sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, with panty liners (like panties with no sides) in the same mesh sizes. Another week has slipped away, and one of the final weekends of the year is here for us to enjoy. Diving into More Dumpsters

Hiya everyone! Tonight we will take a look at some more prizes from the Dumpster Diving Hunt, all free and found inside little blue dumpsters in each participating store. The hints are on the website and on most of the signs in the stores, just click the sample of the hunt object and check local chat. The site will also let you know if you can find male, female, unisex, or multiple prizes at each stop, always helpful information.

My first look is two prizes, starting with the top from Grumble called DDH Gift Stars & Laces Denim Top. It comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, all with delicate stars and red lacing across the neckline. It really matches our prize from Trashed, their <T> Pulse Skirt blue. It also has fun lacing on the front, and comes in eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes.

Fire Within took our dumpster diving theme and ran with it, right into a clever jacket that will show that you're part of the team. This is *FW* DD Women's Letterman Jacket, and it comes in standard mesh sizes plus the single hidden dumpster also includes the mens standard mesh sizes. The front has DD as our letters, and the back features a fun Dumpster Dive Team logo.

Next I am excited to show you the two prizes from De'Fient Unicorn, their *DU* Boho Top and *DU* Boho Shorts. Each comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, in a bold red and black pattern. The shorts are shorter on one cheek, so they are a unique look that you can wear as a set or wear either piece with anything already in your inventory...I'm thinking a black maxi skirt with the top, or a solid red bikini top with the shorts.

This lovely look is our prize from Ambient Fashion, the next to last stop in the hunt path, and is called [AMBI] DDH Marietta Romper. It includes standard mesh sizes as wel as sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The purple shade really caught my eye, with the paler toned belt attached and the open weave all around the neckline adding interest. The reason I mentioned that this is the next to last stop is because their neighboring store (Horr Menswear) is your final destination and is offering a terrific gift for the guys. Heads up, gents!

My final look of the evening is the prize from !White Rabbit Nails, their Jasmine Fatpack which includes Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink sizes each of Coffin, Square, and Stiletto shapes. Just hide the nails built into your mesh hands and add the corresponding size in the shape of your choice. The Coffin is the top inset, Stiletto the bottom inset, and the Square are in the main image, and as you can see they all have the same stunning lacework and slender gold stripe on each nail. I definitely appreciate all the details that went into this beautiful set.

Whew, what a day...I am very grateful that this website automatically saves our work as we go, because I had a minor power outage while in the midst of typing all this. At least it was brief, unlike the 8 hours we were without power yesterday. This happens often enough that we have a generator, so it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been, but the propane tank is less than half full now so it would be best if the power company could keep it together while we wait for our refill. Sirens Song Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight we will explore the Sirens Song Hunt, a free gridwide hunt that will have you searching for sand dollars (also known as a sea cookie or snapper biscuit, according to the hunt site, but I know them as a sand dollar) in each participating store. The website tells you whether the locations are offering male, female, unisex, or multiple prizes, sometimes more than one in the same sand dollar, and the hints are on the site as well so I do suggest having it open for reference while hunting. There are a few skipped stores that the site can inform you of and steer you towards the correct next stop. Many of our prizes are ocean themed, which is excellent for the season.

First we have the elegant AC Ocean Wave Gown from Applique` Chic, who are our first stop in the hunt path. The gown comes in standard mesh sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. I love the pattern and the style, those slender sleeves draped down the shoulders are so pretty.

For a more casual look, we next head to Fukin Cute and find both of their hidden sand dollars (a male and a female) which look alike but each have their own hint. The ladies' gift consists of the bra, track pants, and fishnet topper for the pants (so you can omit since it is separate) each in standard sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. There is even a HUD that lets you choose from "naughty or nice" wording on the left pant leg and band of the bra, to read "fire" or the store's name. Such a fun look, and the men get a great outfit as well so be sure to help your male avatared friends find it.

If you ever wondered if you would make a sexy siren, A) the answer is YES! and B) you can find out for free by finding the prize at ~MystRie~ which is called Making Waves. It starts with the spiral shell pasties in an unrigged version so you can adjust as needed, then there is the long skirt with a single ruffle at the bottom in standard mesh sizes. Next we can add the wave add on if we wish, also in standard sizes to fit perfectly over the skirt, and as many of the 4 sea creature attachments (left and right, upper and lower each) as we wish. All are shown above for the full effect :) You can get really creative with this one, so let your imagination run free.

Barbed Wire Kisses has this fantastic SSH18 Sera Dress hiding in their sand dollar, and both the style and vivid color have captured my attention. It comes in sizes for standard, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. 

One final look of the evening, this is our prize from Fire Within called Siren Shirt, and it comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya for the ladies plus Signature and Slink Male for the gents. She is beautiful, isn't she? I am wearing my Delizio marketplace gift jeans as I have been quite often lately, so if you need some versatile jeans in system, Omega, and Maitreya appliers in a bunch of colors, hurry and pick them up already! ;) 

Whew, I got a really late start tonight and was interrupted more times than I can count. At some point I almost threw in the towel, but I am glad I persisted.
