Pride at Home

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delighted to invite you to the Pride at Home event, where the LGBTQ+ community and allies *waves happily* can come together and celebrate Pride month. There are special people in my life who are part of the community and have struggled for acceptance, so it means a lot to me to see such love and kindness at events like this. Support is crucial, and we all deserve acceptance of who we love or what gender we are. I picked up several free gifts at the Pride at Home sim, no group needed, and will be sharing their rainbow-y goodness in this post :) The event is open for the entire month of June, so there is plenty of time to visit as often as you wish. As always, I may reference sizes as men's or women's but that is merely the avatar build category to help inform which type of mesh body or shape they will best fit. I respect that not everyone fits into general categories. Okay, let the rainbow fun begin!

*NeverWish* has a trio of t-shirts for us as their gift, called Love is Love - Crop Top. There are black, rainbow, and white versions that are each provided in sizes for Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. They all have the Love is Love saying emblazoned on the front in a rainbow coloring, and I am loving the tie-dye look of the rainbow shirt! Naturally I couldn't resist wearing them with the LRD Samira jeans Gift from Loud Rebel Design, with its multicolored stripes that end in a paint drip design on the thigh, into a neutral grey denim tone. This gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions. You may have noticed my eyeshadow, another glorious rainbow which is part of the Keymoko - Pride Set Freebie. This includes system/BOM layers of rainbow eyeshadow and highlighter (seen in upcoming photos in this post) as well as a tintable cheek hearts layer. They look terrific, and really do bring an extra pop of color for June or any time of year.

I kept the LRD jeans on and the Keymoko eyeshadow, but changed tops to the Pride 2020 GIFT from 28LA. The fur comes in black and white versions (left above and right) that both have rainbow sleeves, along with our black tank top that says PRIDE. Each are included in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes. For the men, there is a coat and a top that are each sized for Gianni and Jake bodies, so this is worth picking up for just about everyone :)

This next look could be assumed to be a single gift or from the same designer, but I was actually just lucky enough to pair up two different goodies. The shirt is the Pride Tee [Gift] from Palette, with a soft rainbow across the front with two strategically placed hearts in rainbow stripes. The gift includes sizes for Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Love Body, Love Momma, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The cute panties are from ROULY, their Be My Lover Thong - Pride Gift. Inside you will find Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. It is cut high in the rear in traditional thong style, but you have all seen quite enough of my bum on this blog so no rear view tonight ;) I would also like to draw your attention to my left cheek, where you can see another part of the Keymoko gift. This is their rainbow highlighter, included with the eyeshadow I already showed above and a pair of cheek hearts that you can edit and tint. Blueberry is so generous in general, so I was not surprised to see that their gift is two amazing bikini styles. This is the "Splash" of their Splish Splash - Pride Pack, with top and bottom each provided in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. There is a HUD for Splash that offers 9 textures each on 3 buttons- one for both at once, then a row for the top and another for the bottoms so you can change them separately if you prefer. There are also 7 metal choices, on/off for the ruffles, and Splash has a humorous Wedgie option on its HUD that includes an animation for picking it out. You can turn the animation off and leave it unpicked as I did on the right above so you could see, that left side is just slightly drifting its way into where it does not belong. I am also holding another gift, this one from DAZED. called Pride Phone Pride at Home EDT. It has a hold pose as seen on the left above, and there is a resize script built in that you can access just by clicking the phone. 

For my final look of the evening, I changed into the Splish bikini from Blueberry's thoughtful gift. Its top and bottom are included in the same sizes as Splash, and it has a similar HUD with 9 textures each and 7 metals, with the ruffles on/off option that I used to turn them off on the right. I must admit that I get confused by the various pride flags, but I believe I have non-binary on the left and pansexual on the right here. There is a lovely amount of representation among the textures offered, and the bikini is a terrific nod to Pride month being the beginning of summer so we should take time to frolic in the sun :) I haven't been to a beach in RL in years, but would gratefully slip into a pool right about now. 

I enjoyed a visit to my parents' for dinner, and am looking forward to my first trip to the farmers market in several weeks. Life has been weird lately, LOL, but I am definitely grateful to be able to return to one of my favorite places and chat with the awesome people. Women Only Hunt 4

Hiya everyone! Tonight I will be showing prizes from the Women Only Hunt 4, a free gridwide hunt that ends tomorrow so this is a time-sensitive post. The first thing you'll want to do is stop at the hunt office to pick up the free HUD (buy for $0L from a box on the desk) and then add it and open it up...you can click each store's logo to be teleported directly there, and then click the word "hint" beneath each to get a notecard with that store's current hint. You will be searching for snowflakes, just like the one pictured on the HUD, in icy shimmery shades of blue. Just give them a click and receive your free prize, easy peasy :)

It is very appropriate that this beautiful gift is found in a snowflake, the one at LOULOU&CO. It is called Kimono - Fox and has a dusting of pretty flakes all over, with a bright white bow and stunning image of a fox on the back. It is provided in fitmesh standard sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. 

Our prize from 1 Hundred is called Love Stinks, which is what the heart on the front of the hoodie says inside it. I think we have all felt that way, and it is a comfy looking outfit for sure. The hoodie and pants are each included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. The stripes down the sides of the pants and the sleeves are a classic touch, as are the strings at the waist and neck.

Something seasonal and sexy awaits inside the flake at FurtaCor, their Arwen Set shown here. It is fully loaded, with the cropped high necked sweater and matching wrap skirt in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique each, and the matching boots for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, and Physique. This is a really fun look, and those boots will go with plenty of other wardrobe items just as nicely.

This distinctively styled dress is our prize from Masoom, their Blair Dress that is labeled Valentine Gift, which makes sense from that hot pink color. The dress itself comes in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes, and there is a HUD included with 11 metal colors to change that trim with a wide range of colors. 

I had a great deal of fun compiling this last look of the evening, starting with the [AB] Snow Dress from American Bazaar, the first stop on our hunt path on the same sim as the hunt office. The dress has sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, and is short enough to act as a long sweater if you wish to add some leggings or jeans beneath. Next I added the DAZED Fogging Up Glasses, such a fun shape and the lenses do have a frosted texture on them. There is a resize script built in on touch, in case you need to adjust the size to fit your personal preferences. Last but certainly not least, we have a fantastic prize from LIVIA called Snow Royale Nails, which is a HUD with 4 designs and compatible with Maitreya, Slink, Omega, Vista, and Tuty. There is even a manicure mix for Maitreya and Tuty, or you can choose one of the lovely designs individually. Such an attractive way to add an extra festive touch to any outfit, casual or formal. 

My area wound up with a few inches of snow today, and it looked really pretty coming down in big fluffy flakes. Those are easier to deal with too, not too heavy or slushy. The indoor farmers market I usually attend was a ghost town, since some surrounding areas had to contend with icy roads, but one of the vendors was playing music and turned it into a bit of a dance party :) Don't worry, I probably didn't make a fool of myself...much...LOL! Coco-Nuts for Hunting

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have some more prizes from the Women Only Hunt 3, which are each hidden inside a coconut at various stores across the grid. The HUD to help you teleport from place to place can be picked up at the hunt office, while both the HUD and the website provide the hints to guide you to finding each free hidden coconut. There are some delightful prizes this round, and I am excited to show you a sampling. Something else I am pleased to show is a new release from LIVIA, the nails I am wearing tonight. 

This sexy bathing suit is our prize from Perch, their Adrianna Swimsuit with lots of appealing details. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, with a terrific tropical print and just look at those cutout sides, and the metal rings at each hip.

Another summer treat is waiting at 1313 Mockingbird Lane, their Jennifer Bikini in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. There is even a notecard inside letting us know that there is a matching coverup (skirt) as a free group gift at the store. The bikini also reveals enough skin to let us get a good look at another prize, this time from TAOX TaTToo called Kenza Color. It comes in appliers only, for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, TMP, and Vista Hands, and each offers dark, medium, or light intensity. I am wearing the dark here to show up best in photos. I actually used the Slink for my hands and the Maitreya for the body, as you can see there is a flower on each wrist/palm so the hands are important too. Many great details here, such as those flowers and small peacocks, several scroll designs, and a noteworthy trail down the spine. 

I love the color of this next prize, which is the Bliss Dress from Masoom. The rich hue is accented by matching flowers at the shoulder and waist, and the draped style is very alluring. The dress includes a Maitreya size only and is materials enabled, so the lighting of your surroundings will do magical things for the fabric. With all that brightness, I sure needed a fantastic pair of shades, and just so happened to find one in the coconut at DAZED. These are their Flowy Sunglasses Black, which have a built in resize script you can access with just a click. The intricate lacy border around the perfectly round lenses are such a flattering look, and the black matches just about everything.

If you are feeling casual, be sure to find that coconut at GABRIEL to claim this Minitank Pink, in sizes for Slink, Hourglass, and Maitreya. The pink with thin grey stripes are a great combination, and a nice loose style that will be refreshing for the summer. My shorts are not from the hunt, I actually found them on the Marketplace from Be Free called Short Jeans Tongue (see the Rolling Stones tongue on the back left pocket) in system layers plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega appliers. I wanted something nice and versatile for summer, so it looks like I found it.

For my final look of the evening, how about a better view of these amazing nails? They are the LIVIA::Wrapped Up Nails Applier HUD, which features this design in 8 colors while being compatible with Maitreya, Slink, Omega, Vista, and Tuty.
