eBody Reborn Event

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the eBody Reborn event, which is celebrating an anniversary (I think it's their 4th?) with special discounted gifts for $0L - $50L in black and red tote bags at every display. Some of these are designed just for the eBody Reborn mesh body, but not all, and I personally don't even have that particular body yet so I'm sticking to gifts that are included in multiple sizes :) Don't take that the wrong way please, I completely understand why those folks chose to honor the event's primary body, so no shade at all. I'm just letting you know that it's still worth visiting if you don't own the Reborn body yet either :) We have until the 4th of November to visit, so around a week remaining to scoop up bargains and treats.

My first look of the evening is our [ADD] Andel Dress - Blue gift, yours for free with no group necessary. There are solid and netfish versions each in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD lets us turn transparency on and off, and pick from 10 colors each for the edging, lace, and built in panties which can also be turned on/off. We even have 6 metal options for even further customization! This is such a versatile gift, and undeniably alluring.

Speaking of alluring, our [Din] Justine Candy gift is also bursting with sex appeal :) It will fit Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies, including separate panties for each, and is crafted with an embroidered lace panel in the center with satin side panels. We can use the HUD to change colors, 8 choices apiece for the hems, belt, and panties, as well as adjusting the opacity and shine. I made it less opaque on the right so you could see the string of the panties. Those beautiful roses on the center panels really do look lovely in pink, don't they?

If you are tired of Halloween and ready to think ahead to Christmas, be sure to grab the free Buganvilla - Shalana Dress - C7 gift. Its red hue can start the festive feeling, but the three sets of Christmas lights belts (change, mix white, and mix black) really bring the ho-ho-ho ;) The dress and belts are all provided in Legacy and Reborn sizes, with a HUD for the dress offering 18 colors each for border, buttons, and thread (in the middle of the buttons) while the HUD for the lights labeled "change" lets you select from 2 cable colors and 12 for the lights. The black and white cabled lights twinkle just like the ones you'd decorate your tree with, so fun! If the lights aren't your thing, simply omit the belts from the outfit and just enjoy the mini dress with cute heart shaped buttons down each side. 

Next I slipped into the delightful [Glitzz] Milena Set - Rose gift, a lingerie pairing in black with pink and white flowers that match the pink ribbons laced through the openings on both. Our top and bottom both fit Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and come with a HUD with 3 metals. From certain angles and probably on different bodies/shapes, the nips are visible, but partly covered by the bows of the ribbons.

I did notice that several of the gifts were tattoos, so I randomly selected the Juna: Livia tattoo Woman treat to share and I'm so glad I did :) There are two fancy finned goldfish (koi I think) swimming face to face, almost replicating a yin yang symbol, with curves of text near each. It reads "Live by the sun" and "Love by the moon", with the matching celestial body sketched near each. I really like how inspiring the words feel, and the artwork is stunning. This gift includes BOM layers and an Omega applier, in ultra light, light, medium, and dark which is the one I am wearing here. 

It was an adventurous kind of day here since I went out to pick up dinner, further than I'd been able to comfortably go for a while :) The ride was okay, nothing I'd call easy but also not sheer torment either...it was nice fall weather, and I got a tasty meal (pork chop with apple brown butter glaze, roasted potatoes, roasted corn) that will work out to be like 3 separate servings for me. It was different than what I'd usually get there, so it was fun to try something outside my comfort zone. Tomorrow is a quiet day, then Thursday will be rainy but improved by heating repair and an evening spent playing Hello Kitty with a friend while chatting on the phone :) Her friendship really means so much to me. Shop & Hop Credit

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to do a Shop & Hop post with a twist - instead of showing free gifts tonight, I'm showing some items I chose with the free store credit available as gifts :) So it's still fashions that I got for free because I visited Shop & Hop, just making use of the credits to choose my own treat. Not all of the S&H vendors are set up to accept store credit, but I was fortunate to find several that did allow me to take advantage of discounts for the event and the credit. It is very handy to use the FabFree spreadsheet and sort by type of gift, scrolling down to the purple section which is the store credit category, then see what wonderful brands you can visit at S&H to select your own gifts via credit, either at S&H or at the main stores. I feel like I was able to find a wide range of styles too, as you'll see.

My first look comes from [ADD] and is their Miranda Set - Violet. It's one of several bargains they are offering here, and is $190L so I still have some of my $300L store credit remaining. The shirt, pants, and belt each come in sizes for Gen X Classic, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD which offers 15 textures for the shirt, 10 colors and 7 metals for the shirt buttons, bra on/off with 10 color choices, belt loops on/off, pants buttons 7 metals, 10 colors and 7 metals for the belt, suspenders on/off and materials on/off. Whew! The summary of that would be to peek at the HUD and click some buttons, see what changes, and decide what suits your tastes :)

This gorgeous frilly dress is the { Red Blossom } Pretty in Ruffles Dress RED which is one of several colors you'll find for $240L apiece at Shop & Hop. Even better news, their gift for us is $350L store credit so I got this entirely free :) It feels very romantic and doll-like, with its full lacy skirt and corset top. There are Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh body sizes included, along with a HUD that offers 11 colors each for the front bow, back bows, laces 1, and laces 2. You'll notice on the skirt I've done laces 1 and laces 2 differently to distinguish, they are alternating layers and you can certainly pick the same hue for both so all 4 ruffled edges are the same. 

GGVG is offering a very generous $500L gift card that allowed me to pick up two different items here at their Shop&Hop display. This edgy look is their GGVG CHAN OUTFIT 3 which can be yours for just $240L at the event. It consists of the cardigan, top, skirt, collar, belt, and boots, all in sizing for Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu, plus white socks in a BOM layer. The boots come up so high that just a hint of the socks peek out above, and I love the way the boots are laced all the way around! I chose outfit 3 because I was in the mood for a monochromatic outfit, but there are several color variations available here. The plaid skirt and rugged boots give a sense of a schoolgirl all grown up and ready to kick butt!

Next I explored my hippie side with the GGVG DEJA OUTFIT 2, one of several versions on sale for just $110L each here at Shop&Hop. That means I still had a little leftover from my gift of credits even after picking out 2 wonderful items. Our top, skirt, and belt are each included in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. The belt is such a fun touch since it has a sash of the same material of the blouse, and you know my denim-loving heart skipped a beat over this skirt ;) 

My final stop of the evening is Lilleth., where I snagged their AIRY - Prints - Lara X for just $320L, but really free with their $350L store credit. If you just frowned because Lara X isn't your body of choice, please turn that frown upside down while I let you know that you can also get this (or their solids fatpack) in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Petite X, Reborn, or Waifu bodies. They sell by the size instead of the color it seems :) Our lovely mid-calf length sundress includes a HUD with 10 terrific prints and 10 solid colors for the belt that coordinate so nicely with the various patterns. I do love florals, but couldn't resist that orange pattern that reminded me of my first visit to Florida when I was 12. My best friend's uncle lived there, and had several orange trees on his property so I was enjoying fresh citrus all week since we stayed with him. They smelled delightful too, and even now that flavor or fragrance makes me think of fun times with a friend.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was on the toasty side, but otherwise pretty good. I am still counting down the days until the new AC unit is installed, which will happen this coming Friday by the way :) Therapy was another deep dive into my past, uncomfortable but productive in the long run. I will do a couple of outings this week, and I'll spend the day Friday at my parents' to stay cool and quiet while the AC is replaced here. Halcyon Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the Halcyon region which is one of 16 regions or sims that are part of the Holiday Shop & Hop this year. Each one has 20 designers so that's a total of 320 mini shops, packed with discounted offers and a free gift from each :) I eagerly anticipate these Shop & Hop events each round, and I've already seen the designer applications are out for the February one so there is always something to look forward to in SL. We have about a week left here, since they are wrapping up on the 4th of January, and I'd also like to remind you all of the FabFree spreadsheet that they worked so hard to compile. It's got direct landmarks and photos of the gifts, and with the tabs at the bottom you can sort by store name, type of gift, region, and even view the photos full sized instead of clicking a link to see each one. It has been kept up to date and was ready to go before the regions were even available to the public, so they deserve our gratitude just as much as the talented designers who make Shop & Hop so special :)

My first look tonight is the cozy smesh ~ XMAS Gift Leopard Hoodie. It is cropped and the zipper is just a tiny closure at the bottom of the deep neckline, and let's not forget the fun animal print that looks great at any time of year! We receive sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. I am wearing the black pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace gift, which I reach for quite often here to show off tops :)

Gabrielle Hamelin is offering their beautiful {GH} Winter Sequin Dress Winter Poinsettia as a free gift that you won't want to miss. The pencil dress is provided in fitmesh standard sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body versions. There is even a HUD with 2 similar textures, both of which are shown above. I have fond memories associated with poinsettia plants, as my mom received several as gifts when I was a kid and together we kept them safely growing for most of my teens. 

Next I changed into the flirty [ADD] Arisa Set - GIFT. The top in solid and lace versions, and the pleated skirt with built in panties and belt, all come in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There is also a HUD for the top with 10 stripe colors and 7 metals, and the skirt's HUD has 10 colors each for the belt and panties plus 7 metals and the option to turn the panties on or off. Such a generous amount of customization is available, and you can see the lacy version of the top on the right to give an idea of how sheer it is.

I definitely got a kick out of the Freda Amaya Flap Dress Plaid Red Green gift, thanks to the unique style and bonus accessories. We start with the dress which fits Gen X Classic, Classic Dainty, Gen X Curvy, Curvy Dainty, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. Then we can add the collar (same sizes) and the BOM pantyhose if we wish. They've got two different layers, upper and lower, with that fun half circle pattern :) The strapless dress looks like it's been designed by layering dozens of squares of fabric over each other, creating a fluttery look that is really accentuated by the plaid. I feel like the collar and pantyhose could go with other dresses already in my inventory too, so another YAY for versatility! I switched to my Lara X body here since there was no Lara 5.3 size, but it was very easy to do so because I have a saved outfit for my Lara X and I use the same shape, so literally just remove one body and HUD, then add new body and HUD.

My final look of the night is one of my favorite finds of this Shop & Hop round (shh don't tell the other 319 designers, LOL, and I did say "one of" so there are others I adore) which are our Dalila Aluna Short Nail Square Nail Kit gift. They are an excellent length for casual or sporty outfits, and we get to play with a HUD so that is always a plus :) There are sizes for Belleza, eBody Reborn, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Signature Alice mesh bodies/hands, and we just hide the built in nails with the body's HUD and add these to our outfit. Then the HUD I mentioned for the nails offers 5 different designs, and can each be applied to each pair of nails so both pinkies, both thumbs, etc. You can see all 5 patterns above, with the thumbs being the least visible due to my pose but they are a lovely snowflake in white. Winter is still in its early days, so we have plenty of time to enjoy these terrific treats :)

Seeing my parents for dinner twice this week instead of just the usual Friday meal made me extra lost on what day of the week it is, and of course the farmers market being canceled for tomorrow makes things even more confused. Otherwise it was a decent day, and I got to see more of the neighborhood's holiday lights on the way to my parents' :) A few houses really go all out each year, and it is so fun to see people passing by and smiling at them. [ADD] Group Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the [ADD] store, whose group is temporarily free to join for the month of September. I know there is usually a fee, so this is a great opportunity to save some lindens and get into the group to claim several wonderful gifts :) They also had a generous Advent calendar last year for their group, so it is worth staying in the group if you can spare the group slot. Believe me, if that idea made you groan or roll your eyes I get it, as I'm constantly shuffling groups and wishing they would give everyone more group slots now that most cost money to join. As for [ADD]'s style, I would describe it as flirty and well coordinated. Enjoy!

My first look of the evening is their newest gift, called [ADD] Artil Set - Pattern08. The top with built in tie and skirt with attached thong panties both fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also get a handy HUD with this set, offering 10 colors each for the top, bow, tie strap, and panties, plus on/off options for the tie and panties. I think the geometric (not quite plaid?) skirt pattern gives a school vibe, only all grown up of course, and the frilly skirt is daringly short :)

Its soft peach hue is complemented by darker colored roses that match the strings on each side of the dress, and did you notice the butterflies? My final look tonight is our [ADD] Fiona Outfit - TurquoiseC group gift. The top and pants fit together so perfectly that it almost looks like a jumpsuit, and they are each included in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizing. The golden studs all over the top are a fine match for the triple chains draped over each hip on our pleated pants. I think the color is one of those classic hues that suits any time of year, any hair color or skin tone, and a wide range of moods. For that reason it is definitely going to be a staple of my wardrobe!

Well, I took the day off from blogging yesterday to prepare for a dentist visit, but my anxiety/panic took over in the morning and ruined things. I was unable to sleep or even close my eyes without freaking out, and there was no way I could have gotten in a car in that condition. Even after canceling the appointment, I was still unable to get any sleep for several hours until I finally dozed off for maybe 2 hours tops. So I've been stewing over my own failures and not in a great frame of mind, then I ate something that was more greasy than expected and now my guts are unhappy. All in all it's been a rough couple of days, but I am planning on going to my parents' for dinner (at least spending time there even if not eating) and I think both talking it over with them and then being distracted by the visit will be positive things. Gilded Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some more SL21B Shop & Hop gifts to share, but unlike last night's these are on a non-adult region called Gilded. There are 20 moderate regions like this, and 4 adult ones, all of which have 20 displays apiece for a total of 480 amazing stores. All have discounted items and gifts, and I cannot recommend the FabFree guide enough for deciding where to go :) Their team worked so hard on it and are keeping it updated as needed. As for the event itself, the 21st birthday of SL's celebration is open until the 21st of July so we have time to visit everywhere and enjoy.

I'm starting the evening strong with the sexy [ADD] Valerie Dress - BlueL gift. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with a very handy HUD. That offers latex (left above) or silk (right) texturing, 7 metals and 5 glossiness settings, plus 10 colors and an on/off option for the built in panties. It looks fantastic from the back as well as the front, don't you think?

Another don't-miss gift is the ::ALTER:: Aruba Top & Skirt (Suit) ~ Gold seen above. Next we have a versatile gift from ERSCH called Reenis Dress -lilac- . The name doesn't even give you the full picture though, as it includes the dress, panties, and a separate top that will each fit Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, Mounds, and Waifu bodies. It is delightfully ruffly, and the soft creamy color will flatter many. It was a decent day here, hot but no rain, and dinner with my parents was nice. Unfortunately my mom's oven has been acting up lately and running hotter than set for, so the stuffed shells were overcooked and wound up with a few crunchy spots. She was embarrassed but we didn't care and I even brought home a few leftovers :) I'm starting the new dose of one of my medications in the morning, and I don't expect to feel any differently because it is just a small increase, at least not for a while. Cosmo-versary Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we've got a part two of a part two, LOL, with another post of group gifts from Cosmopolitan Event's 12th anniversary. They do 2 rounds per month so both of April's are celebrations of their impressive achievement :) There are some designers from the first round and some fresh faces, many of which have new gifts which we can claim by clicking the wooden crates at their displays with the Cosmopolitan group tag active. It always makes me happy to see an event packed with high quality offers, and knowing their longevity makes it even more special to visit.

My first look of the evening is the stunning [ADD] Phyllis Dress - Yellow gift. The style is so flirty, with a single strap crossing over and some wedge cutouts down the left side, covering all the essentials yet giving tantalizing glimpses. It fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 7 metals for studs and 10 colors for the built-in C-string, with options to turn both on/off and materials on/off. I also noticed after taking the photos that the very top options are latex or leather, so you've got two views of the latex here and you can see the leather for yourself when you claim this free treat :) I do apologize for not seeing it sooner, it's a pretty detailed HUD and I'm grateful for all the possibilities.

Next I changed into our HER - ELIS BODYSUIT, another irresistible gift that I am very thankful for. There are versions with and without sleeves included, each in sizing for Erika, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Hourglass, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The high cut leg makes for a thong styling for the bottom, and the sleeves still leave a bare wedge on the shoulders for an extra bit of showing off ;)

MELODY is offering their sexy CHIARA FATPACK dress as the gift for this round, and I'm loving it! The shredded sections add such a playful touch, and the vibrant colors we get to choose from make it even more special. There are 20 colors via HUD, and the dress itself comes in sizes for Kalhene, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies.

I've been trying to figure out what celebrity this gift reminds me of, with no luck yet...any thoughts? :) It is our [Din] Micol Dress/Cardigan/Panties gift, and those are 3 separate pieces so you can wear them all or just one or two if you prefer. They are provided in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD to turn on or off the materials and shine. The bodice looks like it's held up by magic, lol, and the cardigan is just a mini shrug but with long sleeves that flare slightly at the wrists. Such an intriguing look!

My final look of the evening is [seeker]_Greta_Palette4, a truly beautiful outfit that is also ours for free with that Cosmopolitan group tag. The top and skirt each come in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Jelly Belly, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu sizes, with an on/off HUD for the slightly darker middle section of the top. The skirt has two bold openings on the left hip, and there are so many great details on both pieces! I'm a fan of the pastel green and teal for spring, and the style also seems summery, so this is going to come in very handy for the foreseeable future. 

My day turned out to be quieter than I expected, as the housemate is not feeling well so no outing again. I need to get 2 in before Sunday, so I'm starting to run out of days here. This is generally how things go around here, plans get changed and postponed a lot, so I am not surprised but perhaps a little frustrated. Otherwise I'll be checking out another event's anniversary round, and have a few groups' gifts in mind to share soon too. 11 Years of Cosmo

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting round two of the Cosmopolitan event's 11th anniversary, where the celebration includes free group gifts in wooden crates at most of the designers' displays. The Cosmopolitan group is free to join, and what better way to stay informed about the twice a month, two week long event rounds? There are exclusive offers, discounts, and much more in every single round, from top designers you either already know and love, or are about to get introductions to in the best way :) If you visited the first round of April and claimed some of the group gifts, most of these are new (either different designer or same designer but new gift) so please feel free to visit again as all of the sales offers are new too.

My first look this evening is the stunning KR MAEVA DRESS -GREEN- gift from KENNY ROWLANDS. This lovely satin dress has a sheer black corset type layer for the bodice, with the satin gathered and draped to accentuate the bust. There are sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies included in this thoughtful gift.

Next I combined two gifts for one breezy summer look. The top is our eXxEsS : Top No. 6 black gift, a halter with crossed straps in the back and a fun bared midriff. It fits Cinn&Chai, Hourglass, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. I love the subtle embossed texture that looks like tiny sequins :) As for the flirty shorts, they are the Galagher - Flavia Short Fatpack gift and are quite versatile. They have included sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and there is a HUD with 9 colors each for the main shorts, waistband, and trim on the side slits. That creates plenty of possibilities to match nearly any top you could wish to wear it with, and the shorts are so fun for this time of year!

I kept the Galagher shorts on here but changed into the Cherry Up! Diana Top. Heart Black gift for this look :) The seams on the corset give a heart shaped look to me, as the sweetheart neckline is like the top of a ♥ and the boning nearly meets in the middle at the bottom. Summer will be here before we know it, and since we can visit tropical sims year-round, this wonderful [ADD] Marie Bikini - Pattern04 will always come in handy. Its unpacker HUD lets you choose only the sizes you need to deliver from eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The folder it gives you contains the top and panties along with a 7 metal HUD so you can change the look of those wide looped chains any time you wish. 

My final look of the night is the Via Fulo Christy Dress Gift, a sexy strapless mini with lots of color options. The included HUD has 12 choices each for the dress and the built in panties, which is provided in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The HUD also has a button to turn the panties on/off, so you can hide them if you are feeling extra sexy ;) One of my favorite details is the intricate lace in the deep V of the neckline, as it goes really well with the pinstripes of the satiny dress.

Are we ready for Wednesday and the middle of the week? I feel a bit frazzled but not quite sure why. I tend to startle easily, so you should have seen me flinch and make a weird sound when I turned on a light earlier and the lightbulb blew out with a loud pop...I jumped like it stung me or something. Talk about silly :) I have more gifts from this round of Cosmo to share tomorrow evening, and a hunt or two up my sleeve for posts soon after, so my blog plans are going smoothly. SL19B Gets Frosted

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a look at some of the free gifts found on the Frosted region at the SL19B Shop & Hop, one of 20 regions in this 19th birthday extravaganza. It is amazing to think of all that has been created and has evolved in Second Life during almost 2 decades, and I have been delighted to witness much of it. The shopping portion of the event has a few days remaining, and nearly every designer is offering a free gift in addition to discounted offers and exclusive items. Every time SL holds a Shop and Hop event, it is always well worth visiting!

For my first look of the evening, I slipped into the lovely ::ALTER::Fany Mini Dress / Nude gift. This ruffled wrap dress has slit sleeves and is tied in the back just like on the sleeves, in a soft beige shade. Our gift includes Freya, Hourglass, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes.

Then I had fun trying on both versions of our [[2Love]] Hanna Top & Skirt gift, Nude and Orange. Each is packaged separately with the top and skirt in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. Since they are individual pieces, you could mix and match the tops and skirts if you wish :) The pinky tan and the burnt orange colors do go well together, don't they? Especially since both have a sparkly looking texture.

Our gift from MONOMANIA is their Gentlewoman Choco outfit, one of the few that adheres to our Steampunk theme of the event :) The blouse with vest (one piece) and pants are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the shoes fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink mid height feet. The rich brown color definitely reminds me of dark chocolate, and there is a refined air to this outfit that straddles the line beautifully between masculine and feminine.

One of the best parts of multiple gifts is the chance to combine them to create a new look, like I did here. I started with the [ADD] Beverly Dress - OrangeC, which fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The scoop sides and mostly bare back are beautiful details, as well as the plunging neckline laced loosely together just above the navel. Then I added the gift from Dark Mouse called *DM* Abstract Leaves Necklace & Earrings. Each of these has a HUD so we can choose from 4 metals and 4 pearl colors. You can see a closeup view of the necklace for a better idea of the leaves and the way the pearls resemble berry clusters. 

My final look features a new feathery friend I made at Shop & Hop, although instead of feathers he seems to be intricately carved and painted :) It is the :[P]:- Chonkbird Gift - from Petrichor, and has a built in hold pose to show off our bird in your choice of 8 colors via HUD. I love birds of all shapes and sizes, so I definitely couldn't resist this chubby cutie. 

It was a busy day making plans for the weekend, and I watched another episode of Stranger Things (one more to go before the final two are released very soon) that had my mind reeling. So many answers, so many more questions! The storyline has always pulled me in, even if the gore this season has been challenging for me. I look away a lot, but am still getting the gist of it. My houseguest will be arriving late tomorrow evening, probably while I am in the midst of blogging, and will be here until Monday evening. I am planning on taking my usual Saturday off from blogging, no other changes at this point but something could come up last minute I guess.
