Doves Dream Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're honoring Palomma Casanova, also known as Dove, with some thoughtful gifts from the Doves Dream event. Her real life birthday was today, and her dear friend Shelby (who also runs the Palomma Plaza) has this annual shopping event to bring together some of the many talented folks who worked with Dove and wish to help honor her :) There are exclusive offers for sale here, and most of the designers have a gift for the Palomma Plaza group which is free to join. Many are in the same boxes you'll see at Palomma Plaza with its logo, but a few are in different gift boxes that shouldn't be hard to spot. Don't worry if you are having a busy day, because you'll have until the 11th of April to stop by and enjoy the event.

I started the evening with our Nala Design - Celi Outfit 4 gift. It is a fully loaded look, with the top, skirt, and boots that each come in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies, as well as the choker and 3 sizes of jacket. They are numbered 0, 1, and 2, so just try each one on and see what suits your shape the best :) The fuzzy jacket works so well with the furred boots, and I always look at it as all fur in SL being faux so there were no animals harmed in the making of this outfit :) It's edgy yet feminine, both of which match my moods lately so I am very grateful for this gift. To be fair though, I am thankful for every gift and every designer who is taking part ♥.

Next we take a peek at the flirty 13 Avenue - Palomma Dress gift, which is wonderfully versatile. The halter dress is provided in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, with a HUD that lets us select from 10 choices. Half of those are colors with white trim, and the other half have black edging and lace. Another handy addition to this gift is the set of BOM panties, in 6 colors - black, blue, mint, red, white, and yellow. They are strapless so more like a C-string, so we don't have to worry about them peeping through the lace of the dress. 

The :::FTCOR:::MARILIA_DRESS::: F8 gift gave me quite a giggle, thanks to the green visitors from another world on the pattern :) I watch a lot of paranormal type shows, but they're about ghosts rather than aliens so I am no expert on these guys. They look great in glowingly bright green though, eh? This playful dress comes in Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with a black corset belt and slender spaghetti straps. They come in peace, right?

This three-piece outfit is our [FAME] Set - Tamara / GIFT, in soft peach with a pink floral pattern on sections. The top, krop top, and shorts will each fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, and the krop top is the upper part on the left that I left off for the right side of the image so you can see the difference :) I love the color, even if it is a bit close to my skin tone and almost blends in, but I just think it's so nice for this time of year. 

My final look of the evening is the GS Jade Dress PINK treat from Gidget's Style. This belted mini dress has a deep neckline and curved dress shirt type hem, with cuffed sleeves and a terrific plaid fabric. It is provided in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. That hemline makes me want to layer some leggings beneath for chilly days, yet it looks so nice as a dress too. Now that's a dilemma that I don't mind pondering :)

My podiatrist visit went decently yesterday, although that with a few added stops made me so exhausted by the time I got home that taking the evening off from blogging was definitely the right move. I have a couple of tender toes, but nothing too concerning, and I'll be back there in 9 weeks for another trim and checkup. The weather got uncomfortably warm here the past two days, which will be even weirder when it drops to nearly freezing in a few days! Mother Nature needs a spa day or something, she's all out of sorts ;) I did gaming night with friends a day early (tonight) and it was a blast as always, with visiting the husband's Pokopia island as well as the usual games. It ran a bit later than planned, but we know how that goes because time truly does fly when you're having that much fun :) I hope you're all having a relaxing day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Palomma Plaza

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features a few generous gifts found at Palomma Plaza, which carries on the tradition of The Free Dove and its founder, Palomma Casanova. It's even in the same spot, so if have any old landmarks from The Free Dove (like I do) those will still work :) I chose two brands with neighboring displays, FAME and Tastic, since I am a big fan of both, and this way the red arrow from my link will point you directly between the two. To claim these and/or any of the wonderful gifts found here, please have your Doves Angel group tag from the Palomma Plaza group active, and then you just have to click the boxes. I'm so grateful that we can still honor her memory this way, and definitely recommend handing this landmark out to new residents or anyone who is a little short on lindens but would like to refresh their look, male or female avatars.

First up, let's take a gander at the [FAME] Bodysuit - Umi gift :) It could also double as a swimsuit, as I find most of the bodysuits in SL can, and has a playful style thanks to those crossed straps. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies included. I really like the soft blue pattern on the front top section, complemented by slightly deeper blue solids throughout the rest.

Next we have the flirty [FAME] Dress - Vanessa, another generous treat that is loaded with exciting details for us to appreciate. It comes in Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizing, and is all one piece with cutouts at the midriff, upper and lower back. The way the neckline is connected to the back but looks like a collar or wide necklace really caught my eye, and those bows on the points of the skirt in front and back are so fun! If you have a BOM pair of thigh high stockings that you can wear beneath, the bows might look like they are connecting the dress to your stockings.

Over on the Tastic display, I was immediately drawn to their Anna Kawaii Set. When life gets frustrating, cuteness helps, so this was just the ticket for soothing me after a long week :) The top and skirt are each provided in sizing for Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Smash, Lara X, Reborn, and Juicy Boobs bodies, with a HUD that offers 10 patterns for each. We could mix and match, although I was feeling a bit matchy today.

I also grabbed the stunning Tastic-Amelia Boho Outfit, and I'm sure you can see why it was a great idea. Such a "me" style, and I know I am not alone in my fondness for Boho or hippie fashion. This gift consists of the tube top and maxi skirt, each in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes, along with a HUD that lets us choose from 10 textures. They appear on the entire outfit all at once, and each one has a solid color already chosen to match the vibrant patterns.

My final look this evening combines two gifts also found on that same display. Our Tastic-Evie Cute Ruffle Top fits eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Lara X, Hourglass, Physique, Reborn, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies, with 5 standard sizes for classic avatars. There is also a HUD with 14 playful textures that really do bring the cute factor :) Then the Tastic-Elise Jeggings flatter the booty and legs while looking extra cozy, and I love that folded waistband and long zipper in the front! In sizes for Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, and Reborn mesh bodies, these jeans/leggings will look terrific in whichever denim shade you select from the 10 on its HUD. I did notice that the pants go sheer, almost entirely transparent, while changing colors...so it might be best to do that away from the public eye :) 

It was a stressful couple of days, but I am going to be gaming with a friend tomorrow while chatting on the phone which always brightens my mood considerably. Anyone out there who played Animal Crossing New Horizons, the update is already live and we have new content to enjoy :) We're both excited for that too, although Hello Kitty Island Adventure is our usual cozy game together. Enchanted with Fame

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post took a turn midway through, as I got distracted by some fantastic gifts at one of the hunt stops from the Enchanted: Frostbitten hunt. Its full name is Enchanted Presents Frostbitten: A Tale From the Graveyard, so it has a bit of a spooky feeling (leftover from last month's holiday?) with the encroaching cold weather creeping over us like a chilly fog. That's my own take on it anyway :) The prizes are free, and hiding inside gravestones that are engraved with the hunt name, months, and "Here Lies a Very Special GIFT". A few stores have more than one stone waiting, and the website will let you know that as well as giving you the landmarks and hints. Our prize folders do contain the next landmark as well though, so it is not as urgent to have the site on hand when hunting. I always do in case the hint giver at the store isn't working or I wind up having to skip a stop. As for the twist in the post, you'll see that one of the stores had several irresistible gifts that stopped me in my (hunt) tracks.

Would you believe that my first look is comprised of 4 different prizes from the same stop? There's even a fifth one not shown, so you've got a handful of gravestones to track down here :) The - MicRo - Outfit Mystical Dawn Hunt consists of the top, skirt, gloves, and horns you see here. The clothing all fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, with the gloves gift having separate fur for the upper arms that is therefore optional. The horns are adjustable and look just stunning draped in blue beads and gems. The other treat is a long blonde ponytail hairstyle that curls down past the waist. Be sure to follow all your hints and find all five goodies!

[FAME] is the place to find our next prizes, a Dress, Bolero, and Belt that combine to create this lovely look. These tombstones each hold Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn sizes of their respective pieces, which can be worn all together as I am above or individually if you prefer. The dress is strapless without the bolero, and it looks just as pretty without the belt, although I'm a huge fan of the way the little pompoms pull the look together :) This is why that famous ice cream parlor touts having 31 flavors; we all have different tastes and that's a good thing. 

I'm always scouting any store I visit for gifts, so imagine my delight upon seeing the free gifts with no group tag needed! This [FAME] Bodysuit - Umi is a beauty in blue, with sassy crossed straps both front and back. There are Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes included. The various shades of blue are making me think of the sky throughout the day, but there is a subtle spotted pattern on the front of the top portion too.

For my final look this evening, I've slipped into the playful [FAME] BodySuit - Aneli which is a free subscriber gift. When I clicked the sign, it turns out I wasn't already subscribed (oopsie) so it gave me the option to do so. Once I did and got the confirmation in local chat, I clicked it again and received this cutie :) It includes sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Prima Busty, and Reborn mesh bodies, and has a fun split style with the left half of the front and back bearing dots that remind me of dalmatians, and the right is solid pink with paw prints up top and a happy kitty on the bottom. The black ruffles are a terrific little touch too, accentuating the neckline and the hips.

I really enjoyed my evening, and chatting with friends is always a pleasant way to pass the time :) Playing a cozy game together is a treat too, just relaxing and talking about whatever comes to mind while enjoying the cuteness of Hello Kitty and pals. Time for Tequila

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're hopping along the Tequila Hunt path, loaded with prizes and free group gifts. Just join the Hunts & Hints group for free, and you can claim a treat from the gift box at each store near the hunt sign, then explore the store for the tequila bottles for $10L - $25L. My drinking days are far behind me, but I do recall having a margarita or two at Jimmy Buffett concerts (when in Margaritaville...) and have tried a couple other cocktails with our hunt's namesake spirit. Whether you indulge or not, this hunt can be a fun way to save money on some impressive hunt prizes and of course the free group gifts I'm about to show you.

First I slipped into the .:YASU:. 110 - Tropical Top which is our group gift there. Its pink trim matches the floral pattern really well, and is one of my favorite colors so that earned bonus points from me ;) There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and the Maitreya fit surprisingly well on the Lara X that I am wearing in all of these photos. If not, I would have tried the Legacy for fun, then swapped bodies for a moment if all else failed. This top looks great with my Delizio jeans (marketplace freebie) but I think it would work like a dream with other pants or skirts, maybe in pink or green.

The bare arms made it easy to share another generous gift, the Mithril Store_Music New Tattoo. There are 2 versions with different sizes and placement, each in BOM layers, and both headsets and cassette tapes appear on both arms at once. It certainly reminded me of how I've listened to some songs lately on my headphones that I also used to listen to on a Walkman or my boom box, via cassette! Technology changes but some classics remain listen-worthy. These tattoos are such a playful way to show off your love of music in any format.

These sassy shoes are our Roja's Beautiful Disaster HEELS group gift, which also happen to coordinate beautifully with the paid prizes (not shown) from this location :) The stiletto heels are wrapped in straps that have closures reminiscent of a backpack or seatbelt, intriguing and looking quite daring in red and black. I really love Web Dew, so it was exciting to stop by and pick up their ::WD:: Dress Innocence - Hunt Edition treat for H&H group members. Our long dress has a stained glass type pattern and a knit bodice with lots of lovely details on it, in Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Prima Busty, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. There's also a HUD of course, which can be used to tint the top jewels and various components like flowers, pearls, and leaves. At the bottom are a few checks and Xs to show or hide a few details as well, so this is quite customizable. 

My final look of the evening is the delightful [FAME] Tequila Hunt 2025 - GIFT dress. The teal color is gorgeous, and the inset down the front right side with the stripes adds plenty of visual interest. Plus there is just something so sexy about tank dresses :) Our gift includes sizing for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies.

It was another busy day, mostly the evening since I had a support group meeting online at 7pm. It went well, and I am feeling relatively optimistic :) Tomorrow I'm supposed to go out, and I've already forgotten where...oh right, a nice little coffee shop I've been to twice before. I always get something decaf, so we aren't provoking the anxiety more than just being in the car will. They have breakfast sandwiches all day too, so I might even get something for Wednesday morning.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some free hunt prizes to show you from the Enchantment - Nevermore hunt. The prizes are hidden in prims shaped like a raven, extremely suitable for the hunt name and theme :) We get to search each participating store by using the hints given on the website and from the sample raven on the hunt sign in most stores, and the prize folder includes the landmark to the next stop in almost every case. I'd genuinely forgotten that it used to be hunt standard to do that, LOL, because the websites generally are easier for the organizers to keep updated. Quoth the raven - nevermore, and find all these goodies by the end of the month ;) Sorry Mr. Poe, but I had to paraphrase your classic line there to add the helpful info.

First I slipped into the flirtatious YUEBIN - Luminara - Enchantment Hunt prize. This brand creates clothing for all genders, which is reflected in the sizing for the dress and the panties. Each piece has original and PBR versions, and the panties have versions with or without bulge. All of those will fit Anatomy M, Belleza Jake, eBody, eBody V-Tech, Waifu, Legacy F, Legacy M, and Legacy V-Tech mesh bodies. I'm wearing the PBR here, and it gives a deep maroon snakeskin texture that responds to your local lighting. So intriguing!

I kept that lovely dress on and added our wonderful BMe Mechanical Nevermore Wings prize from BlueMoon enterprise. These charming double wings are intricately created with a touch of steampunk (see those gears?) and flap gently on their own. They're also unrigged so you can adjust them if they need to be nudged up or down, or closer to your body, etc. :) I think they look fantastic with this dress and its bare back.

Get ready to explore the [FAME] store triply well, as there are three generous ravens waiting there with a trio of easy to combine gifts. The Dress - Eared / Gift starts us off with plenty of bunny ear shapes including the bodice, and a daring open back that shows off a bit of booty cleavage. Of course we need some undies, so their Panties - Eared / Gift come in very handy. You can't see them here but I promise they are under there ;) It probably won't surprise you that the third treat is called Stockings - Eared / Gift, thigh high fishnets with side seams and solid feet with ear-adorned garters attached. We start with the axe, which has several random holding poses it cycles through while attached. Then we have the sleeves in Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes, then the top and panties in the same sizing plus a Perky version for the top. Another raven has boots in the same body sizes, then the final one gives us the full skirt in the same size set. I recommend adding the parts one at a time to see the outfit bit by bit, then decide what combo suits your mood or destination. 

Are we ready for the weekend? I think I am, although it might involve more mouse activities that would not be pleasant. The mouse traps are baited with peanut butter, and this time we are using the humane type so I might get startled if they get caught but at least it won't be gross. I had a nice dinner at my parents', although a bit later than expected because their appointment ran late. The laundry related leak is taken care of, and a huge clog has been resolved :) Not sure what exactly my weekend will hold, but I am going to try to catch up on sleep and probably read since I haven't made time for that much lately. 13 Years of Cosmo

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes to us from the Cosmopolitan Event, round one of their two-part 13th anniversary celebration. Their rounds are brief, twice a month, and this one is open until the 12th of April. Join their free group if you aren't already a member, and you can claim treats from several participating designers (I'd say about half of them had gifts) by clicking the rustic wooden crates. It is so exciting to help honor their accomplishment of thirteen amazing years in SL, and I can't wait to visit again next round too!

My first look is a scintillating outfit from #SHOOSH which is their Leeza Outfit [GIFT]. That's all one piece, with the appearance of a blouse, corset, skirt, and panties all combined! It is provided in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I think the steaming hot pink really caught my eye, particularly contrasted by the snowy white blouse.

We also can claim this wonderful Black Flowers - Gina Set - FATPACK as their gift for the event :) It is another one-piece outfit that shows off considerable cleavage, this one being a fun romper with long pointed collar on its blouse and a built in belt. There are Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included, along with a HUD that lets us choose from 12 colors each for the top, shorts, and belt, and 5 metals for the belt buckles. The [FAME] Dress - Sima / GIFT 1 is a lovely pair of dresses that have a delightful mix of sex appeal and romance. The black (left above) and pink (right) versions each fit Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. They both have belts attached, and the bright bows at the hem of the pink version are a sweet touch that probably inspired me to think of it as romantic. 

Next I got a bit creative for the sake of modesty, with my pose and a Photoshop flower ;) The [COCO LOUIS] Venus Dress - Onix is a sheer halter dress with open weave and bare back, in sizes for Classic/Dainty, Curvy/Dainty, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies. Since I can't walk around in this pose all day in SL, lol, I'm thinking some BOM pasties and panties layered beneath would do the trick to help us wear it to a G rated area. Such a pretty style!

My final look this evening is two gifts at once, so let's start at the top ;) That would be our [FLIRT] Suriya top-FATPACK treat, which is a playful strapless top in Cinnamon, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD offers 8 colors each for the top, border, and gems decorating it, so there is a lot of potential for variety here. Then I added our [ELLE] Pantie_Black & White_Pack gift, with each color thong designed to fit Classic, Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I thought it would be fun to match the panties colors with the trim on the top for each side above, but as always I urge you to wear everything I share in ways and combos that suit you. I love seeing how several different people can take the same basic wardrobe item and each wear it styled completely uniquely to their taste :) I view my photos as the serving suggestions you'll see on food packaging, LOL!

Whew, yesterday was a challenge for my anxiety. Good news - I got to my dentist visit okay, and even asked about a problem I have that meant more poking and prodding (blister or abscess type thing on gum) which it turns out they have no idea what caused it. There are 3 possibilities and none seem to be accurate, even with an x-ray to look inside. I'm a medical mystery, LOL, which should be freaking me out but I am choosing to take a more lighthearted approach since it doesn't seem to be anything dangerous. It's not even usually painful, just tender on rare occasions. I know, dental stuff is not most people's favorite topic so I apologize if I gave anyone the ick. I'm also trying to do a bunch of random unrelated things at once and distracting myself, causing me to be a scatterbrained magpie. I was so drained last night that I'm glad I took the evening off from blogging, just as I am happy to be back as well :) I hope you're all having a beautiful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Doves Dream Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are heading to Doves Dream, an event in honor of Palomma Casanova (of The Free Dove) that started yesterday on her RL birthday. The location is the same region as Palomma Plaza but up higher, and is gorgeously decorated with a very heavenly, ethereal motif that looks amazing :) We can browse a wide range of sales offers from over 80 designers, and if you are in the Palomma Plaza group (free to join) and have your Doves Angel tag active, there are dozens of generous gifts for you to enjoy. Some of these gifts are in boxes similar to the Palomma Plaza ones, with the black and gold logo of that location, so be sure to click any of those you see as well as any color or style of gift box. Fun fact, you may notice a lot of sunflowers here as decor and on sales items; they were her favorite flower and she'd even created a stunning garden in SL as a memorial to her sister. I'm so grateful to Shelby Monitor for keeping Dove's spirit with us in SL through the plaza, this event, and so much more.

For my first look of the evening, I am feeling flirty in our [FAME] BodySuit - Aneli / Gift. The pink and black colors are a favorite combo of mine, and I love the way it's split so one side has spots and the other is solid pink with pawprints and a smiling kitty on the front. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Prima Busty, and Reborn mesh bodies included in this thoughtful gift.

Another treat I'm eager to show you is this {Le'La} Sunshine Dress Set ~ Exclusive Gift. It starts with the strapless belted dress in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu sizing, while the choker has a similar size set of Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. Add the earrings if you wish, and your outfit is complete :) There is also a HUD provided, so we can select from 20 solid colors and 20 patterns each for the dress, dress ruffle, belt, and choker, plus 20 colors for the sunflowers. I feel like the red on the right makes them similar to poppies, which also have a symbolism of remembrance.

My first reaction when trying on our Delicatt Couture - Hennia Dress with Gloves was a loud WOW! Both our dress and the matching gloves come in versions with and without shine (sparkles!), and each of these are provided in sizes for Legacy, Bombshell, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The HUD offers 40 colors each for the dress and the gloves, so there are many ways to wear this fun gift that will all help you look extra festive :) I suggest using your body's HUD to alpha out your hands if they don't play nicely with the gloves, as I did here with my Legacy body.

Next we take a peek at the lovely *Ydea* JUMPSUIT SHORT gift for the event. This bodysuit is unzipped past the navel, revealing lots of cleavage as well as the belly button. It fits Legacy, Bombshell, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 25 colors for the fabric. I really like the golden zipper color and particularly against the white, just a classic color combo that caught my eye :) 

My final look of the night is our Jaya Outfit By BlackbirdLace gift. The striking dress has the look of a turtleneck blouse tucked into a corset waisted layered skirt, in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. The heels fit Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn feet, laced up the calves to just below the knee. As I'm sure you can guess, the gift also includes a HUD, and this one lets us select from 30 colors each for the upper and lower parts of the dress and the heels. Time to mix and match!

Ugh...sad to say that one word (sound?) wraps up my week so far. My anxiety is through the roof and I didn't make it to my dentist appointment, then the housemate's ankle got intensely worse so they went to the podiatrist for a second opinion. It's not gout after all (which is why the gout medication did nothing) but it is an injured tendon, so they need my assistance with lots of things like wrapping the foot/ankle and getting things like food and beverages. The instructions are to stay off it for 3 weeks, which ruins several layers of plans including my outings to try to be able to leave the house again comfortably. I've got my fingers crossed that we can get some things delivered that they usually go purchase, and that my parents can help us a bit here and there.
