More Uber Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more UBER Event gifts to share, and as I explained in my prior post they are all located at the designers' mainstores instead of at the event itself. This means we are visiting dozens of locations to find generous free treats, most of which do not require a specific group tag, and mostly found inside a tan Uber giftbox with yellow-gold ribbon and bow. Our first stop is the event to gather the landmarks from signs or giftboxes at their displays, then we head out to all the wonderful stores :)

My first look this evening starts with the Mimikri gift called Amalfi Cotton Batiste Dress cruise. This gift consists of the slightly sheer dress in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, with panties to fit both Legacy and Maitreya bodies. The pretty blue shade matches some of the beading of the Meva Allegra Set, their beautiful jewelry gift for us. The necklace has many strands of varied lengths for an impressive look, with a pendant that perfectly matches the included earrings. What will you pair them with?

Time for sex appeal! This top is the Lua / FATPACK gift from Bombshell, a daring bra in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 13 colors each for the gems and the metals, so can customize the look of your jeweled bra to suit your mood or favorites. Then I added the .Safira. Dolly Panties Blush, a gift we can find on the wall to the right from the main entrance. I mention that because it is one of the rare ones not in the Uber gift box, still entirely free :) These playful panties fit Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, in a lovely shade of pink with a big bow on the back. I know you can't see it in this photo, but please take a peek below...

The blush color of the panties gently brings out the floral pattern in our OSMIA - Tie Neck Crop Top gift. I am a huge fan of halter styles and crossed straps, and the cropped length is just right for late summer into fall. This gift is provided in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes. 

Fake Society has a provocative and generous gift for us, their Vanya Dress / Fatpack. There are 14 terrific colors (black, blue, cobalt, forest, grey, lime, nude, orange, pink, red, rose, rouge, white, yellow) each in Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn body sizing. I'm wearing the forest color on the left above, with rose on the right. This strappy style has plenty of peekaboo openings while covering the essentials. 

We wrap up the evening in shiny crimson, thanks to United Colors and their UC_Jenifer_outfit_red gift. The top and shorts each fit Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and there is a handy HUD for each piece offering 12 colors for the laces and 5 metals for the grommets and waistband snap. The two HUDs allows us to pick different choices for each as I did on the right. 

This is a week of flexibility for me, as I've had several plans changing and I wouldn't be surprised if there are more switches in the offing. For now I have a blood draw tomorrow but I do not need to fast for it, so it isn't really a big deal. The new month is almost here, so I will be researching and trying to see what to expect for September in SL :) Event rounds, hunts, sales...there is always something happening somewhere in the grid that will catch my attention, and I will gladly share what I find. She's a Beauty

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is another dive into the bevy of wonderful group gifts available for the anniversary round of the Beauty Sales Event. There are over 100 participating designers with $77L special selections, and most of them have free gifts for the (free to join) event's group in black gift boxes with gold ribbon. There were so many incredible treats that it has been a fun few days of sharing them :) I cannot pick just one favorite gift and might not even be able to narrow it down to a top ten! This celebration round is open until the 11th so you have just over a week left to stop by and treat yourself to something new and something free.

For my first look of the evening, I started with the lovely ..::RR::.. Flower Dress Nude GIFT which is adorned with beautiful lilies. It comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies with a fitted classic version for classic avatars. Its strapless style has a neckline just low enough to showcase the Damaged Society gift, their [DS] To Live Tattoo Bom. It says "To live will be an awfully big adventure" and is decorated with stars above and a heart below the text. There are male and female versions, probably for correct placement. The system/BOM layers are ideal for classic avatars along with all BOM-compatible mesh bodies. 

Next we have our gift from Bens Boutique, called Alodit Dress - Hud Driven. The very sexy crossed halter dress is very revealing with the cleavage-baring cutout and the gathered right side on an already brief skirt :) The gift includes Classic, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite sizing, with a 24 color HUD so you can customize the look easily. All colors are the same animal print, very alluring!

If you need a gift for some summer fun, be sure to click the gift box at the Ahroun Designs display to claim their [AD Originals] Lory Neon Outfit. The bikini top and bottom each come in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, and the gift also includes the matching round sunglasses I am wearing. They have a built in resize script, so you can adjust them to fit just right. 

Usually camouflage is used to hide or draw attention away from things, but I can guarantee that the ZFG HEATWAVE - CAMO knotted tank top does no such thing! It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, with a 4 texture HUD so you can choose your favorite camo pattern among them. The delicate body art on my chest is the Dragonfly Tattoo from YARENIE. This beauty comes in system/BOM layers as well as appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Signature, and Slink bodies, so most of us should be able to wear it with ease. 

My final look this evening begins with the Anthemis - Top Gift, a single shouldered tank top in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. There is also a 7 color HUD for extra versatility, which I always appreciate. The hem lands at just the right spot for me to be able to show off another gift, the Lulle / Lilac belly piercing from Bombshell. There are versions rigged for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a HUD that lets you choose from 13 colors each for the diamonds and the petals. As you can probably tell better from the inset, there are 3 diamonds including the one that makes up the center of the flower, and there are several (10 I believe) petals that look beautiful in any color you choose. This button provided more of a multicolor effect, so I couldn't resist showing you the closer view of it. 

We are more than halfway through the week, down the homestretch and I am delighted about that :) My appointment earlier went well, and I will go back in 4 weeks to get a tune-up. I have one quiet day before 2 busy ones, so there are a few things around the house that I'd like to get done but nothing exciting. More Uber Birthday Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more Uber birthday gifts to see, and I am delighted to remind you that these are all totally free with no group tag needed. Just visit the Uber event or one of the camera shopping sims (Harajuku and Cam Sim) and use your camera controls to zoom over and click all the gift boxes which are decorated with floating black and gold balloons. All the designers who are taking part in this round of the event have a gift along with their usual sales offerings, and I always enjoy seeing an event celebrating a milestone in SL. I guess I find it reassuring that they have been successful for several years :) This round is open until the 22nd of September, and it just opened a few days ago so it is still fairly crowded. You might need to try at a less busy time if you cannot get into any of the sims, it took me a few hours over the course of 2 days to be fortunate enough to claim an opening.

For my first look, I wound up combining 4 generous Uber gifts. The top is the For the Crew Top - Black Latex from Cynful, which comes in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes. The halter style looks wonderful with the sheen of the latex. Since it has hints of red, I paired it with the Jeune by Rowne.Mara Jersey Skirt - Red. This sexy mini is provided in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes, and has a flirty zipper in the back. In a delightful coincidence, it matches the gift from DIRTY PRINCESS perfectly! That would be their Famous Princess heels, in Maitreya and Legacy sizing, strappy sandals with uniquely shaped stiletto heels. I also added some jewelry, the Cae Malia Bracelet pair which as you will see are quite versatile. We receive the left and right versions with a HUD that offers 6 metals for each section of the doubled up bracelet, 20 gemstones and 15 colors for the smaller faceted gems that are shaped like an eye around one of the larger stones. I did a closeup view in the inset above so you could see that a little better, picking random colors to show the differences.

[[ Masoom ]] has a lovely gift for us too, their Imogen Suit - Olive bodysuit. It includes a sheer version (right) as well as a solid version, each sized for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. The loose fitting belt is attached to each, and the side view really shows those dramatic leg slits that make me think of a genie. The texture has some shimmer to it too, so pretty!

Another beautiful look here, thanks to the dress from Pink Cream Pie called !PCP Tori Dress [Lilac]. The plunging neckline slit is laced with matching cords, and those same strands appear crisscrossed in the back as well. Our gift comes in sizes for Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite, with a HUD to change the panties (they are built in and not visible from this angle) to your pick of 20 colors. I also chose an accessory for this style, the EQUAL - Duality Necklace which has a built in resize script. The duality comes from the left half of golden links, the right being snowy pearls strung together, with a gold pendant dangling from the front center. This is easily adjustable for your size or shape.

What better way to celebrate a summer Uber birthday than with swimwear? This gift comes from Bombshell and is their July / Sky suit, in two versions as seen above. The one on the right is labeled AP for each size, so I will guess that stands for animal print with those familiar leopard spots. Each version includes Freya, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite sizing. I really like the single shoulder style, and those peekaboo cutouts...dare I say *rawr*? 

My final look of the evening is the oh-so-charming Neve gift, their Croissant Dress. This beauty comes in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Legacy, and Legacy Perky body sizing. There is also a HUD included with 4 texture choices, each an ombre with matching metal for the belt and straps, with an on/off option for shine. The one I am wearing on the left above reminds me of either a sunrise or sunset, and the high waist with flowing short skirt makes me think of a modern take on a toga. 

The weekend is almost here, and I am looking forward to it for sure. Tomorrow I will enjoy dinner with my parents, and then Saturday will be the farmers market and probably a return of hockey. I understand why the NHL felt the need to cancel their games too, and I am sad that the players are stuck in a bubble away from their families for a little longer because of it but this nation is deeply troubled and they needed to make a statement. I support peaceful protests, as that is how people can make their voices heard. I try to keep my blog as neutral as possible, but human lives should not be a political issue and should all be protected. Many magical magpie hugs to all of you!!

FaMESHed is Fantastic

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more group gifts from FaMESHed and their 8th anniversary round to share, and these seem to be leaning toward the flirty side. That may work well with your remaining weekend plans or just might be your own personal aesthetic, or perhaps you are like me and change your style to suit your mood. My first look starts with the Blossom&Seeds Koki Dress No.4, a stylish mini with sheer midriff and laced back. It includes Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizing. I accessorized with another gift, the Remi Bracelet and Necklace from [JUSTICE]. These are nonrigged so they can be adjusted if necessary, and include a HUD with 10 metals for the beads plus 20 each for the strands they are affixed to and the wires (strings?) that go across them and hold them in place. The inset shows a closer view of the creative design.

Next I slipped into the SAUVAGE group gift called Catalena White, which actually consists of two versions of the same stunning dress, white and ombre. Each come in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, so several popular curvy bodies. I love the way the ruffle at the top drapes over the bust, and the high slit on the left thigh is daringly up to above the waist. Does anyone else ever marvel at how some SL clothing like this dress would be nearly impossible to wear in RL without involving double sided tape and possibly not moving at all? Never fear, you can dance the night away in this fun gift :)

I did mention that tonight's gifts are on the flirty side, well I think this kicks it up a notch right into sexy! I am enjoying the ~Nerido~ Lilith Bra/String - Lavender here, matching lace bra and panties in sizes for Maitreya and Legacy (with an added Legacy Perky size for the panties). Then I added the jewelry, the gift from -Narcisse- called Lia Bodychain ML fitted for the Maitreya Lara body. It includes a HUD with 10 metal colors, and I must say the style is delightful...the single loop around the neck down the front to the waist, then double chains from the back of the neck around to that circle in the front. 

Bombshell is offering this incredible dress called Julia in Baby Pink as their group gift, and I love it! The color appeals to me of course, but the styling too with that draped sash in the front really caught my eye. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes. 

My final look of the evening is a playful mini from {le fil casse} called Francine Dress Seafoam. The halter strap is held in place with a bold bow above each breast, and that is one impressively short hemline ;) The soothing color is accentuated with a dusting of paler polka dots, just the right size to be noticed without being too subtle or too loud. As a nod to our current world climate, I chose the timely Hope Necklace from Cae as my accessory for this look. It has a resize script built in that you can access by clicking, and there is a HUD provided with 6 metals and 15 gemstone colors to choose from. I appreciate the versatility, and the sentiment of hope.

It was a chilly day here, but I am glad I got some fresh air and saw (safely, with masks, from an appropriate distance) some of the people I usually got to visit with at the farmers market before the pandemic. There was just one customer without a mask that I saw, out of at least a dozen people, so that was reassuring. I wound up buying more food than anticipated, so I think I am stocked for the entire week and then some :) My parents and I gave one of the ladies a Mothers Day card and flowers since she has always been so sweet to us and considers us family. Belle of the Ball

Hiya everyone! Tonight I visited the Belle Event, where I joined their free group and was able to claim dozens of generous gifts to celebrate their first anniversary. The event is open until the 16th of March, so you have a couple of weeks to visit and do some shopping :) I saw lots of fashion, accessories, and home decor that looked very tempting, so I will be making a return visit as soon as I try on some demos. Meanwhile I am pleased to share some of the free gifts with you in this post. The group is free to join, so these looks will not cost you a thing.

My first look starts with the #AppleBlossom California No.5 dress, a beautiful mini dress decorated with lace and tiny pearls. It comes in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. I accessorized with the gift from Narcisse, their Delicado choker which is unrigged and includes a HUD with 9 metals to choose from. It is versatile enough to look striking with any outfit you pair it with.

It's about time for my arrival! This outfit's name earwormed me, as it is the X-Tina Dirrty v2 gift from [Pare]. It consists of the bra in onyx and white, and skirt in navy and red, all in sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. You can mix and match them however you please, and I won't tell anyone if you decide to dance to Dirrty in this outfit ;) 

I kept on the red skirt from the Pare gift, to wear with our gift from [JUSTICE] called Sandy Tank. This cropped top comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, plus a HUD with 6 subtly different metals for the hoops holding the bottom strip on. I love the embossed stars on the slighty shiny material.

Another very pretty dress can be found in the gift box at the Bombshell display, their Audrey / Flower 01. It comes in Freya, Isis, and Maitreya versions, with a dark blue background for the pale blue and white blossoms and their leaves. The neckline spoke to me as being ideal for a little jewelry, so I added the MIDNA - Rafka Necklace and its adorable winged piggy. The gift includes a HUD with 10 gem choices and 5 metals for the pig and the wings, so you can have a lot of fun customizing this cutie to suit your tastes or match an outfit.

There was so much terrific jewelry among the gifts that I chose to showcase two pairs of earrings for my final look of the evening. Together they make up the gift from KUNGLERS and are called Irina earrings, with a quartz pair (the pale pink on the left) and an obsidian pair. The chandelier style is both bold and elegant, and all the earrings have a resize script built in so you can decide if you want to go even bigger or a little smaller. I am a fan of statement earrings, perfect for a fun updo hairstyle and a pretty outfit. There are so many other pairs of earrings among our group gifts that if you love them too, you will not be disappointed.

How was your weekend? Mine was busy but I enjoyed it :) Yesterday I found plenty of treats at the farmers market as usual, and I always have great conversations with the vendors who are there sharing their hard work each week. Today was mostly focused on hockey and household chores, so you can guess which one was more exciting. Now I am just happy to be here and blogging, and looking into new rounds of events and hunts for the new month. More FaMESHed Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more treats to share from the FaMESHed event and its December round. There are many gifts for the free FaMESHed group, just have your tag active and click the wrapped presents you see at the vendor displays. The event is open until the 27th of the month, so just after Christmas, giving you time to visit and enjoy while doing a little holiday shopping. Don't forget to treat yourself, you deserve it!

First we have a generous gift from RIOT which includes sweaters for the ladies and the gents :) This is their Jane Sweater Gift, whose red and green versions are each provided in Freya, Isis, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. The left shoulder is cut out to show a strap emblazoned with the store's name, so you will always remember who to thank for this cozy gift.

Another group gift that looks great with my Delizio jeans (marketplace, several colors, system layers plus Omega/Maitreya appliers) is the !APHORISM! Deanna Top - Lilac Ltd Ed. This flirty style has a sweetheart neckline leading up to a small collar in the back, and a lush layer of beaded fringe. There is also a HUD that lets you hide the beads or fringe (hiding the fringe also hides the beads automatically) with 4 colors each for beads 1, beads 2, and the fringe. This will make a lot more sense when you have the shirt and the HUD on ;) The gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies.

There are two gifts featured in this photo, starting with the Giz Seorn cropped sweater gift. It has a very pretty mix of colors, and is provided in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. It looks really cute with the gift from Bombshell called Adriana Shorts Red. They include sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya, with a HUD for the zippers in front to choose from silver or gold. The gold makes them look more Christmassy in my humble opinion, although I usually lean towards silvery tones for jewelry so both choices are winners.

Neve is offering a terrific gift too, this comfy sweater with striped sleeves and plaid skirt that buttons down the left side. For my final look of the night, I am wrapping things up with the sexy group gift from Belle Epoque called Scarlett. The bra and panties are provided in a Maitreya size, in green trimmed with red and decorated with tiny bows. I also chose the Laurel Collection from Cae to accessorize with. That includes the earrings, necklace, and barrettes I am wearing, which have built in resize scripts on touch and a HUD with 6 metals to choose from for each separately. The seasonal wreaths are lovely, and with just enough color to coordinate beautifully with your favorite festive outfits. I must admit to being very distracted tonight after some bad news about a very talented member of my favorite hockey team. He was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer, and will be missing the rest of the season to receive treatment. He is just 23 years old, and it is heartbreaking for his fans to know that he is facing such a huge challenge. Honestly I do think he will beat it and be able to play again someday, based on being young and healthy, and having top notch cancer treatments available in the area. They keep posting pictures of him in the purple practice jersey he wore for Hockey Fights Cancer night recently, and it's making me teary every time I see it. We have games tomorrow and Sunday, and I'm just not emotionally prepared. 

My plans for this weekend are to post Sunday morning rather than Saturday night, so I can share some more wonderful Advent calendar gifts with everyone, and since my Saturdays are always busy it will be nice to have the evening off :) Then I think I will be returning to evenings for Monday, but I will decide before my next post so I can have a definite answer then. Happy Anniversary Uber

Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit Uber, the very popular event that is celebrating its 5th anniversary this round with gifts from nearly every participating designer. No group is needed, just patience to click all those gifts ;) It opened on the 25th and is still quite crowded, so you may wind up having to teleport to one of their cam shopping sims (Harajuku and Daze Retreat) and using your camera controls to explore the main sim and pick up all the gifts. That is what I did, and it worked perfectly. There are so many generous and talented designers who take part, I truly feel it is worth the effort.

My first look contains two gifts from Bombshell, well really 4 since it is two colors with two patterns each. On the left I am wearing Fernanda in Baby Pink version 1, on the left in Yellow version 2. One of the versions adds white and grey stripes instead of different shades of the main hue. Each color and version is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, and Maitreya mesh bodies.

I combined 3 terrific gifts to create this fun look :) The top is the Mimiki Crop Top Bonnie black, provided for us in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. Its gathered style and bare shoulders add to the flirt factor. My skirt is from N-Uno and called Uber Gift // Skirt // Maitreya, so you can guess what size it comes in ;) It is very short with a satiny finish and vibrant coloring. I also decided to add a necklace to this look, the ~Nerido~ Noir Choker(Maitreya)-Black. It has a black ribbon with a tiny gem dangling from the front, and a delicate silver chain draped beneath. 

Sometimes I really yearn for something frilly and feminine, and if you do too then the gift from {ViSion} will fulfill that craving. It is their lovely Lingerie Victoria Gift @Uber and consists of the bra and panties each in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes. I decided this look could use a touch of jewelry too, so I added the .BF. Britty Choker from BEAUTY FACTORY. There are two separate chokers to wear together or separately, the top one with a single gem and the lower with 4 gems and a long dangling chain in the front with a fifth gem at the end. There is also a HUD that allows you to choose from 7 gem colors and 4 metals, so this is one versatile gift.

So many designers are celebrating this anniversary with double gifts, aren't they thoughtful? This pair of dresses comes from {le fil casse}, The Catherine Maitreya Fitted Dress in Mist on the left, Navy on the right. They are both decorated with lace at the deep neckline, and ruffles on the short flirty skirt. 

My final look tonight is a wonderful set of manicures from CAZIMI, their Tropical Punch Nail Appliers Gift. It includes appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, with 5 designs tipped in pearly silver. I love the various shades pulled from the pattern, they mix and match really well or you can select one to go with your favorite outfit.
