MLM Group Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I explored some stores who participate in the MLM Free&Offers group, so I could share some of their generous gifts here :) There is a modest $5L fee to join the group, most likely for our safety to keep out troublemakers. I really do enjoy this type of group and love tracking down all the generous gifts so I can spread the news.

My first stop was Hot Stuff, where I picked up the flirty Dafne Dress as our gift. The light purple floral pattern with deeper hued trim absolutely caught my eye, and I love the way the style ensures that every curve is cradled and accentuated. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Pushup Nerido, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Juicy, and Mounds mesh bodies. 

Keep that group tag active and pop on over to YoUnique Couture, so you can claim their Brigitta Duo upstairs with the other group goodies. This sleek mini dress is provided in Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn sizes, with a HUD that lets us pick from the two vibrant colors seen above. Did you notice the sheer lace panels down each side? You'll probably need strapless panties, aka C-string, to wear beneath but if you're like me you probably have dozens already in your inventory :) 

Another fantastic choice for vivid colors is the Selma Dress by BlackbirdLace gift. The diagonal hem and single shouldered style look amazing with the large roses on the pattern, dark and dramatic in the best way :) We receive sizes for Erika, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Juicy Boobs, and Squeezed mesh bodies in this treat.

Next I shimmied into the bold [Luxury] Livia Dress Gift. It's got lots of sex appeal and a sheen that gives me the impression of latex, with unique cutouts and layers combined into one easy-to-wear piece. For my final look of the evening, I visited DM Design and picked up their DM ~ Skauna Dress Gift MLM. This blousy strapless mini has a separate belt so you can decide if you wish to wear it with or without, and both of them fit Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. Who knew that a tiger stripe pattern looks so great in pale blue? :)

So this cold or whatever's got a hold of me, well it's decided not to let go and to get even worse. I lost my voice last night and still haven't found it again :P  As you can imagine I am awfully tired, so I may take two days off for my weekend instead of just one. Extra rest just might help me get rid of it faster. Otherwise not much to say, other than my usual wish for a beautiful day/evening and many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Halcyon Days at SL19B

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it is time to visit the Halcyon region at the SL19B Shop and Hop event, which is a celebration of the 19th birthday of our beloved Second Life. The SL destination guide will help you where else to explore during these final days, and it has links to all 20 of the shopping regions if you haven't visited all of them yet. There are 20 designer displays per region so that is 400 creators offering exclusive items, discounted sales, and of course free gifts. The general theme is Steampunk, so the regions are decorated accordingly and are a visual treat to go with the gift treats :)

First this evening, I slipped into a charming ruched floral dress from [4U] which is their UNDERWATER Collection ~ 008 gift. There are sizes for Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies included in this gift, all decorated with blossoms in various shades of pink on a sage green background. I definitely like this as a summer look!

In a striking nod to the steampunk theme, this is the >>GothiCatz<< SL19BGirl - minidress which is one of two gifts available at their display. The other is for the guys, so be sure to bring anyone who wears a male avatar as well :) This halter mini has tiers of ruffles alternated in black and plaid, with gears and the word PUNK on the upper bodice. It comes in fitmesh standard sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. 

I had a lot of fun with the HUD for this next gift, the JUSTINE dress from AlaFolie. The bare shouldered formfitting dress has a playful ruffle across the top, so it will highlight your favorite choker or bold earrings if you wish to accessorize. The dress fits Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies, and the texture HUD has 4 vibrant options like the two seen above. 

We are certain to turn heads in this Son!a-Edge gift called Petra Dress. It has the appearance of two pieces but wears as one, in sizes for Freya Perky, Isis Perky, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies. It is adorned with gold beading, lace trim at the lower hem, and 3D flowers down each hip. So detailed and gorgeous! I love the color, and I am pretty sure this is a materials enabled creation that will need your viewer to be set for advanced lighting so you can see gold reflections on the fabric. 

My final look of the evening is the flirty .HS. Annie Dress - Shop & Hop Exclusive Gift by Hot Stuff. There are Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn body sizes, and our gift also includes a HUD with 6 dress textures and 6 coordinated colors for the trim. The patterns have a similar color set but very different styles, like the cheery rainbows on the left and the stripes on the right. The hem is extra short, and the hips have scooped cutouts so this is a bold look for when you want a revealing dress. 

I am 100% ready for this weekend to begin! My houseguest just arrived, and we have exciting plans that include an upgrade for my PC. It'll be getting a new solid state hard drive, and I am not sure what else because I don't speak 'tech' ;) It has been getting slower and slower lately, particularly from photoshop and SL, so it is simply time to enhance it wherever possible. Happy Event

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the Happy Event, who are celebrating their 1st anniversary this round with some free gifts from various designers. There is no group needed to claim them, and I saw a few that were $10L or so in addition to the $0L freebies I am featuring this evening. It was interesting to me that there were several tattoos among these gifts, so I had lots of fun showing off a handful of those too :) This round of the Happy Event is open until the 28th, and each designer is offering $99L exclusives to make your visit even more happy.

We start the evening with the ***LURE*** Dress ELLE which is provided in Black Panther and Red versions so you have two terrific gifts in one. Each color is provided in sizes for Kupra, Kupra Kups, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with deep V neck and crossed back straps for lots of visual interest. The texture looks like it is reflective and deserves to be taken out dancing :)

This sexy bikini is the .Hot Stuff. gift called HS Nala Bikini, consisting of bra and thong each in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes. It has a pretty pattern of strawberries on a white backdrop, and I must say that thong is especially revealing both front and rear. That works out well for showing off tattoos as you can see, like the VooDoo Tattoo - Cest la Vie [Faded BOM] gift. Its body art decorates the shoulders, upper arms, chest, abdomen, back, and even upper front thighs with various designs. I was drawn to the rose on the spine, and the cat on one leg with a fox on the other for two beautiful creatures among the flowers. As the name indicates, this is provided as a system/BOM layer for classic avatars or any BOM compatible mesh body.

Mixing and matching is a concept I mention here frequently, but not usually with tattoos. However that is exactly what you can do with the Vera Tattoo 5 PHRASES TATTOO free gift since it is 5 system/BOM layers with a different image on each. On the front you can see Let Your Dreams (the rest says "guide your ways"), Follow your Heart, and Be Mine, while on the back is Free Spirit and Don't Wait. That last one is on the spine and reads "don't wait for the perfect moment, take the moment and make it special" beneath a rosebud. One of the great things about BOM is that you can use multiple layers at once, as with an applier system you would have to select just one. 

Next I changed into the [:: Moonlight Shadow ::] Tattoo Moonlight gift, with two crescent moons on our back almost mimicking a yin yang symbol. Claim this free gift and you will receive a system/BOM layer as well as appliers for Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, and Omega. It is versatile as well as being lovely artwork.

My final look of the evening is an ideal choice for heading out while looking casually cute. The sweater is our gift from Mara's Meshy Stuff, their Green striped cardigan which is provided in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya body sizes. It is cropped and has a fun knit texture. The way the front is almost open makes me think of potential layering possibilities, like a short tank top for a warmer look. I needed to cover myself beneath the waist too of course, so I turned (as I do so often here) to my favorite marketplace gift which is a fatpack of jeans from Delizio. They come in several colors as system/BOM layers along with Maitreya and Omega appliers. 

Tomorrow is my evening off to recover from whatever my body does in response to the booster tomorrow afternoon, hehe, which could be as simple as tiredness and a sore arm but I am preparing for anything. The second dose made my neuropathy flare up, which means painful hands and feet. The water company is doing a grand finale tomorrow of their pipe replacement, which means they have to shut the water for 6 hours and it will be discolored when it returns. Doesn't that sound exciting? I will be eating takeout so I don't need water to cook, so it might not be too much of an inconvenience.
