Blossie Beauties

 Hiya everyone! Tonight is a part two of last night's post, because I am still very excited about the new gifts at Blossie (a.k.a. AppleBlossom, Blossom&Seeds, etc.) and their group being temporarily free to join. It's such a great opportunity to pick up their very first meshes for free, and claim your own little part of their history :) There was no date specified for the end of this offer, but the end of the month is rapidly approaching and I wanted to share more just in case. The group notice indicated that more gifts may be coming too, so hang onto this group if you can.

For my first look of the evening, I am enjoying the gorgeous Apl.Blossom Aurora Fatpack. This group gift dress comes in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets us select from 20 solid colors and 10 patterns. I want to say that single sleeve's style is called Juliet (this is when I wish my friend who studied fashion design was a night owl like me, so I could ask) but I can describe it as puffed to the elbow, then tight to a flared wrist :) The bare left shoulder and short skirt make it as flirty as it is elegant.

Another don't-miss gift is this Apl.Blossom Argentina II Fatpack. We receive Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, and a HUD offering 20 solid colors and 10 patterns. The dress is satiny and fits like a glove, with scalloped lace at the hem.

Our AppleBlossom Wanda Fatpack gift has a similar style to the previous one above, but there are distinct differences like the lace bra cups and sheer side panels. In sizes for Alice, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, it can be worn in your choice of 20 colors thanks to the enclosed HUD. I really do love slip dresses in SL, so yes I do indeed need both of these! :)

I still need plenty of swimwear for visiting warm regions in SL and for the hot tub in my skybox, so the Blossom&Seeds Becca Bikini Fatpack is still going to come in handy. The top and panty are separates that fit Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and we receive a HUD for each piece with 20 colors and 3 metals. The details are wonderful, from the lace embossing on the top, cutouts and heart shaped hoops, and let's not forget the chain draped around the back of the top. 

I kept that top on for my final look, which is the versatile Blossom&Seeds Arizona Pants Fatpack gift. They are referred to as pants and shorts, but I'm going with high waisted shorts that come to right where the cheek meets the upper thigh ;) They're included in sizing for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a HUD offering 12 textures. It was genuinely difficult to choose which two to share, since I was drawn to so many of them and there are no wrong choices. You've probably got dozens of tops in your inventory that you can wear these with already, so have fun pairing them up.

Gifts From Blossie

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got a limited time offer, as the Blossie (formerly Apple Blossom, Blossom&Seeds) group is temporarily free to join. They've just put out several group gifts, 11 as of this morning, which the group notice describes as fatpacks of some of their very first meshes. What a thoughtful way to share their hard work, and to thank their longtime fans! I have blogged them many times over the years and have enjoyed it all, so this post makes me very happy :) 

My first look is the Apl.Blossom Ambar Fatpack gift, and I am sure this will come in handy now that fall is here :) The top, sleeves, and pants are all provided in Legacy/Perky and Maitreya/Petite mesh body sizes. There's also a HUD of course, with separate pages we can change by clicking the arrow on the bottom right. The pants page has 30 solid colors and 3 metals, then the sleeves page offers 30 solid colors and 10 patterns, then finally the top page has 30 solids and 10 patterns just like the sleeves. Very versatile, and we can wear the top without the sleeves if we prefer.

If you're already thinking about winter, be sure to claim the Apl.Blossom Viviana Fatpack group gift too :) Its sweater dress includes Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, and the HUD has 2 pages we tab through with the arrows on the bottom. They are for the dress and the sleeves, with each offering 20 solids and 10 fun patterns to mix and match. The patterns are mostly traditional sweater vibes like snowflakes and Christmas trees, but I couldn't resist showing the cute cats here too! The solid colors give our hemline a lacy trim, which does shorten the dress a bit so I would probably wear leggings or jeans beneath for modesty.

This romantic set is our Blossom&Seeds Arendell Fatpack group gift. The corset bodysuit and skirt each come in sizing for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The HUD offers 12 colors each for our top, panties, skirt, laces, flowers 1, and flowers 2, plus an on/off feature for the laces. I really like the way those laces have such pretty bows atop our shoulders, but the corset styling works just as well with them hidden if that's your preference :)

Next I slipped into the lovely Blossom&Seeds Bluebell Jumpsuit Fatpack. It will fit Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, with a sheer halter top tied in the back and snug pants that are zippered in the front and on each ankle. The enclosed HUD offers 16 colors for the top, 4 metal colors, and 18 colors each for the front and back of the pants. The top does have floral appliques on it, so the essentials are covered while keeping the look quite flirty.

My final look of the evening is the delightful Apl.Blossom Arabella Fatpack group gift. We receive the top, separate sleeves, pants, and chain, all in sizes for Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies. I'm sure you realized there's also a HUD, which has arrows to scroll through the various pages. We can choose from 20 colors for the pants front, 20 solids and 10 patterns for the sleeves, 20 solids and 10 patterns plus 3 metals for the top, and 20 solid colors for the pants back. It is fun to have that option to pick different hues for the front and back of the pants, just another way to bring variety to our look :) This definitely made me think of autumn, and I just might still be wearing it until I have to change for my next blog post prep.

I had no idea that a thunderstorm was headed my way tonight, so I was a bit nervous about that for a couple of hours but it seems to have passed through now, whew! I've been so focused on the Hello Kitty game DLC that I hadn't checked the weather other than for my outing yesterday. One particular resource in the game (a particular gemstone) is very hard to obtain, but perhaps playing with my friend online tomorrow will bring about results. Hiya everyone! Tonight we will be exploring more of the #AppleBlossom / Blossom&Seeds group gifts. I did mention they were plentiful and I clearly was not exaggerating ;) I am impressed by their quality and the variety, not just of the gifts but looking at their creations in general. The group is free to join, and there is a large wall of shelves packed with these group gifts so it is easy to locate and pick them up. 

I started this evening with a generous gift, the #AB GraceBay / Fatpack of tops. There are 13 colors to choose from via HUD, and the top is provided in Freya, Isis, and Maitreya sizes. The style is delightful, with squared neckline and square cutout in the back, and the wrapped straps at the bottom are tied with a delicate bow. I am wearing the Delizio jeans in white from their marketplace freebie fatpack, a gift that appears here quite often and includes system/BOM layers plus Maitreya and Omega appliers in several colors.

I also wore the Delizio jeans to show you the #AppleB. Love is Love Group Gift. This sleeveless cropped top with high neck comes in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizing, with a HUD offering 7 various colors and logos. I really appreciate that the designer is supportive of everyone and is helping us celebrate equality in love.

This sporty look is another great gift, the #Apl.Blossom Freedom No. 8 dress. The very short style has cap sleeves and a wide V neck, and the number 02 on the front and back. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies.

I know that summer won't be here for much longer in RL, but that is part of the magic of SL that we can visit any climate whenever we wish with a simple teleport. So this #Blossom Navagio No.5 swimsuit will always come in handy :) It is a single piece with the appearance of two, in a bold royal blue color that I adore. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes. Am I the only one who thinks that the back resembles a tilted hashtag?

My final look of the evening is a dressy miniskirt set with handy options. The #Apl.Blossom Milan No. 9 consists of two different tops and the skirt, each in sizes for Freya, Isis, and Maitreya bodies. They are all called "Sky" as the color, and I love the bow on the back of the top! The contrast of the stripes is flattering but the matching linen texture is lovely too.

It was quite a day, and I am running behind tonight which seems to be a trend for me lately. I have an appointment in the early afternoon tomorrow, and while it is nothing serious it is time consuming, so I have decided to just take tomorrow evening off from blogging. Still Blossoming

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more #AppleBlossom / Blossom&Seeds group gifts to share, since there is an abundance of them and I would love to show you as many as possible. I think the original name of the store was #AppleBlossom and the Blossom&Seeds is their new brand, but either way their work is impressive with a wide range of styles and colors to enjoy. I was pleasantly surprised by the dozens of gifts available, all for wearing a free group tag :) Once you try these on and appreciate their quality, I suspect (like me) you will be back do so some shopping, as I do love supporting these generous designers by spending my lindens in their stores.

My first look this evening is the #AB Fatpack / Lauren outfit, whose top and pants each come in Freya, Isis, and Maitreya sizes. There is also a HUD provided with 16 choices for each, solids for the pants and a mix of solids or prints for the top. As you can see, the prints still have a solid layer beneath the loose patterned layer. 

We combine elegance with sensuality in this next gift, their #Apl.Blossom Pekin No. 1 dress. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and has a teardrop opening in the front to highlight cleavage as well as side cutouts with very sheer material inside. Those are trimmed with beautiful flowers, and the hemline has a slender strip of gold sequins encircling it. 

If you are in the mood for a cute romper in vivid green, please be sure to also claim this fun gift called #AppleB. Turin No. 7. It has an attached belt, and the sleeves can be turned on/off with the provided HUD. Our gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, and Maitreya bodies. It really does look terrific either way, with or without the sleeves visible.

I do love purple in all shades, so this #Apl.Blossom NewOrleans No.6 bubble dress certainly caught my eye. It comes in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes, and has intriguing cutouts along the front of the waist and on the bodice. The style is as appealing as the color.

My final look of the night is a pair of body conscious dresses called #AppleBlossom_Miami RubinRed. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya provided, each in Jeans (seen on the left above) and Metal (right) varieties so you get a choice of which texture appeals to you each time you wear it. It almost looks like two pieces from the rear view, and side by side you can definitely tell the metal has an even brighter luster to it.

Are you ready for a brand new month? I certainly am, since lots of rounds of hunts and events will be available. There are plenty of other things to appreciate about September, but my brain is in blog mode so that is what I thought of first ;) I am excited about the Twisted Hunt that starts in a few hours, although I might not have time to work on finding those tricky cubes for the first few days. AppleBlossom & Seeds

Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to invite you to a store that is fairly new to me, #AppleBlossom also known as Blossom&Seeds. I think there was a rebranding somewhere along the way and honestly am not sure which is the new name and which is the old, but no matter what you call them I believe you will be happy with what you find there. I joined their free group, and there is an entire wall filled with dozens of group gifts that we can claim with that group tag so now you know what I will be featuring in this post and probably the next one or two :) Group gifts galore! There is a fun variety among them, casual dresses and more formal ones, pants and tops, and even some swimwear. There is actually so much I haven't even tried it all on yet, but I am absolutely looking forward to digging in more.

My first look is the #Apl.Blossom Quito No.10, a daring strapless dress with dramatic cutout and sheer fabric except where it counts most ;) The gift includes Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing, all with the slender gold belt built in. The diagonal hemline is also a terrific touch, isn't it?

Get your flirt on with this pretty gift, the #AppleB Fiji No.p12 dress. It has plum and white stripes on a halter style with a strap dangling down the back, and laced closure beneath that strap which resembles a scarf. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, and Maitreya mesh bodies.

I also picked up this flirty gift, a dress called #AB Maria Mermaid. It is held in place (barely) by delicate straps that form an X in front and a star in the back, with a high collar and short skirt with another cutout. It includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya bodies, with a HUD to turn the bow on or off. I get it, not everyone is as fond of bows as I am, so it is helpful to have that become optional. I must say, that color is fantastic!

Next we see the #Apl.Blossom Madrid Upd. No.7 gift, a loose fitting blouse style dress that you could also wear as a tunic if you chose to layer some leggings beneath. It comes in sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The laces panel in the front and back accentuate the sweetness of the pale pink color, and I enjoy the high-low hemline.

For my final look of the evening, I selected the lovely #Blossom. Aquatta Bikini No. 3. It consists of the bikini and pareo (sarong, worn on the right) each in Legacy and Maitreya sizing. The top and bottom of the bikini are linked to wear at the same time, and the pareo is separate so you can slip out of it when you dive into a pool or ocean. Does the texture remind anyone else of dragon scales, or is it just me?

Happy Birthday Uber

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are celebrating the Uber event's birthday, as their participating designers shower us with gifts. There is no group tag needed to claim these treats, and since it is a very popular and therefore busy place to be, there are 3 sims you can visit to access them. In addition to the main location, there are Harajuku and the Cam Sim where you can use your camera controls to view and retrieve the gifts. All of these presents are in wrapped boxes with gold and black balloons, very easy to find and containing all sorts of thoughtful gifts. This round just opened recently, and lasts until the 22nd of September, so if you cannot get into any of the sims yet please do not worry. There is still plenty of time :) It took me a couple of hours to get lucky enough to find an opening on one of the cam sims, just attempting to teleport every couple of minutes. Worth it!

First I slipped into the gift from Blossom&Seeds, which is their Brooke Uber Gift. It consists of the top and shorts, each in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. The bottoms are labeled pants, and at first I thought it was a skirt until various poses including the rear view revealed the shorts aspect. I would call this a skort, but no matter what you personally refer to it as, it is a hot look! The red roses look so vibrant against the teal background.

If you are looking for something romantic, be sure to visit (or cam to) the .Safira. display so you can click their ballooned gift called Mareen Babydoll Night. The babydoll and separate panties are each included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. Most of the fabric is sheer and lacy, but the thong style panties and the belt plus a bit above that belt are solid satin. I was torn between describing this as romantic or sexy, since it really is both :)

Next we see a sporty skirt and tank top combination, the gift from [ILAYA]. Their Scarlett Top and Skirt set is provided in Legacy and Maitreya sizes for each piece, and are mostly black with a teal waistband on the skirt. The top is lifted slightly on one side, for a flirty little touch.

I kept the skirt on but changed tops, to the gift from DEAD DOLL called Knotted T-Shirt. It includes sizes for Legacy and Maitreya bodies, with a terrific HUD that offers 16 background colors and 4 text choices. The texts are 2 colors each of the two you see above, on the left "So Apparently I'm dramatic" and "SHI r T" on the right. I have certainly known people who deserve to wear the saying on the left ;) Sadly the right sums up this entire year so far, with the letter R falling off to reveal a naughty word.

One last treat for this evening, we have the Mimikri gift of their Celeste Bikini pink pepper. Fun fact: my childhood best friend's name was Celeste, after her grandmother, and I do not hear that name very often so it made me smile. So our gift includes sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies for both the top and bikini briefs. The bold studs are a fun contrast to the pink color, aren't they? Feminine yet edgy, sure to appeal to many of us.

Sexy and Seventeen

Hiya everyone! Tonight I will begin to show you some of the many gifts we can find at the SL17B Shop and Hop, part of Second Life's 17th Birthday celebration. There are 10 full sims loaded with designers offering discounted items, and most have a free gift for all visitors. Some are in little suitcases, others are signs on walls or other types of gift boxes, just look around each display carefully if you do not see it immediately. With so many sims, I will do what I usually do with their larger events and share them one sim at a time, so tonight's gifts can all be found on the Frosted sim. It is the weekend and things could be crowded, but the good news is that the event is open until the 12th of July so you can certainly wait until things are less hectic there. I went two days ago and it was busy but none of the sims were full to the point of not letting me in, and I visited half of them at that time. After the weekend, I will tackle the other five and have a terrific time unpacking those generous treats! Meanwhile I also have a new-ish release from [Ari-Pari] to show you that is close to my heart, and may be meaningful for many of you too.

My first look of the evening is a gift from #AplBlossom, their Ari No. 9 outfit. It is one of two SL17B gifts at this display, and there are 2 group gifts there if you happen to be in their group :) Ari No. 9 is a one piece with the appearance of two, a tank top and high waisted panties with a skirt attached, and includes both versions shown above (patterned and solid skirts) each sized for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies.

The other treat I mentioned being at this display is from the Blossom&Seeds brand, called SL17B - Italy Exclusive Pack. It is also a single piece with built in layers of dress, bra top, and belt, and comes in sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is a HUD provided to let you pick from 5 solid colors for the top and 5 pretty patterns for the blouse-style dress. The top is rather sheer because of being lace.

This gorgeous slip dress is our gift from Faida named Blanche, and she is a delicate satiny halter style with fun floral pattern. The gift includes Legacy, Legacy Perky, and Maitreya sizing. I couldn't resist trying on the gift from Gabrielle Hamelin with it, which is the lovely Adora Fun - Shards Necklace with Resizer. It even comes in an extra tiny size, but I wore the regular one and used the resize script to make it a bit bigger. The choker part itself reminds me of rock candy and its sweet clusters, while the heart pendant looks like hammered metal for a very attractive look.

I noticed I have been favoring shades of blue lately, so I was delighted to unpack this beautiful {le fil casse} Kennedy Dress Ice gift. It includes Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing, with detached sleeves and lots of gathers for a charming style. I'll bet that necklace from the previous photo would look just as pretty with this neckline.

Over to [Ari-Pari], where they would like to remind us that Love Is Love with this poignant tee. It is ideal for Pride month of course, but just as true any day of the year :) The shirt comes in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, with a HUD offering 12 background colors. Hooray for the weekend! I am a bit anxious about parts of it, but looking forward to it nonetheless. I will be taking the day off from blogging tomorrow, as the fans did arrive for my poor hardworking PC so they will be replaced by a family member who has much more experience than I ever will at that sort of thing. I do not expect any problems, but it felt logical to just plan the day without any deadlines or pressure and to not rush said family member. The computer has been making noises for several months off and on, but the past few weeks it really increased and made me even more concerned. Cosmopolitan Celebrates

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am excited to show you some treats from another event's anniversary, which tells me that May was an excellent month to establish an event. This time we are visiting Cosmopolitan for their 8th anniversary, round 2 for the second half of the month since their rounds are just under 2 weeks long. Their free group entitles you to many group gifts, as for their anniversary almost all of the participating designers have chosen something special to give to all group members. They are in little crates at each display, just give them a click with the group tag active and you will be given a folder with the gift inside. I chose a random handful of the plentiful presents to show you this evening, and I hope you find some that you enjoy.

My first look is the Blossom&Seeds gift called Journie No.5, a tantalizing dress that is laced up each side and comes in 3 versions with varying transparency. Each version is provided in sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Signature Alice bodies, with version 1 being completely lined beneath the lace (as seen on the left) and version 2 with a sheer top (right). You can probably guess that version 3 is completely sheer like the top of that second version :) I think it would be clever to wear version 1 with the most coverage on an evening out, then slip into one of the other varieties when I get home with Xan!

This bodycon tank dress is our gift from AVALE called Kiss - Red Star. The deep crimson has subtle stars just a shade or two darker, and the neckline is just right for a choker or short necklace. I wonder if I have one with stars to carry the theme through to accessories? :) The gift includes sizes for Freya Perky, Isis Perky, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. 

For a lovely sweater dress with versatile belt, be sure to claim the gift from [Eternus] named Charlie Dress (Brown). The dress and belt are separate pieces so you can wear the dress with or without being belted, and each come in Legacy and Maitreya sizing. There is also a HUD provided for the belt with 7 colors and 2 metals, so you can adjust that to your personal tastes. In cooler weather it would look pretty over some leggings as a tunic top, but in my current climate I would love it as is.

I was also pleased to pick up the gift from Kaithleen's, their Tied Up Dress - Smoke. The dress and separate sleeves each come in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a HUD offering 20 color options each for the trim, belt, and sleeves. It makes it so easy to get creative and change the look dramatically in an instant.

For my final look of the evening, I combined two gifts and created a charming outfit. The top is the gift from FashionNatic called ARIA TOP, a dainty laced tank top with spaghetti straps. It is provided in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes. I paired it with the [G-SHOT] AREI Skirt {Dark Red}, which includes sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. This extra short mini skirt has 2 little safety pins on the waist, and the pleats really accentuate our curves.
