Staying at Home

Hiya everyone! Tonight since I actually stayed home in RL for the first time this week, I was inspired to share more Stay at Home Club gifts. There are so many thoughtful designers who want to support us in these trying times by offering a wide range of generous gifts, and you can find several categories on the Stay at Home Club website. All of tonight's treats are from "Apparel" on the drop-down menu when hovering over the Gifts tab. I am extremely grateful to each and every person who is offering any sort of gift here, as it really is heartening and sure to boost the mood of anyone isolated for health reasons. SL has been a safe space for many of us for various reasons, and now in a global crisis it provides a haven that is an escape from real world stress. It is considerate of these talented folks to let us pick up free gifts (no group tag needed) to help give our avatar or home a new look, particularly when money may be tight from rough financial situations too. Okay enough of RL talk for now, let's see some wonderful SL goodies!

My first look is the Twistys Twistalicious Creations gift called :TTC: Lena Dress w/Hud. The strapless mini with layered ruffles comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, while the HUD lets you choose from 12 color combinations. Some are mostly a single color like on the left, although if you are feeling more festive you can choose something like the trio on the right. They are all lovely, and I had to just pick randomly since I truly could not pinpoint just two favorites.

Next I paired two gifts together, starting with the Dreams Tank Top light green from [Emmegi]. This shirt reads "follow your dreams, they know the way" in varied artistic fonts, and it is excellent advice in my opinion :) The gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes. The sporty capris are our gift from -XTC- called Koshi Graffiti Pants, provided in sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. They also include a HUD, with 6 main textures plus 6 striped choices for the waist and 6 colors for the ties in the front. These make for a lot of versatility, allowing you to get creative with the options to match any top you wish to pair it with.

My next look is another pairing, and I again start from the top and work my way down. The sassy top is the RHD Women's Crop Top Black, whose petite buttons in the front are just bursting open to show an extra glimpse of cleavage. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. It goes really well with the Mystery skirt v2 from +Dreamcatcher+, which comes in sizes for Legacy and Maitreya bodies. There is also a HUD provided with 12 colors for the center panels, all of which have the black trim and waistband. 

This sexy gift is the Luvdiva Fashion dress called Tammi, and she is quite the temptress in hot pink! This studded mini comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, all with that playful style of straps holding up each side of the bust with a triangular opening that draws even more attention. 

My final look of the evening is our gift from Always Design. The dress has an eye-catching hemline with a pretty ruffle, reminiscent of the edging on the matching hats that are included. Our dress has delivery HUDs for Maitreya and Belleza/Slink, each of which will deliver the appropriate size/s (Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique) with a HUD offering 5 floral patterns and 5 solid colors for the trim. When you click the print button it textures the entire dress, ruffle too, and then you can leave it as is which I have done on the right above, or choose a solid color for that ruffle like I did on the left. The hats are provided in white and pink, so you can decide which suits your mood and the print you desire, and they have built in resize scripts for a great fit. If you aren't much of a hat person, or the hairstyle you are wearing with this dress will not cooperate, just leave the hat at home and enjoy the dress on its own :) 

Well, I made the mistake of thinking (hoping) today would be a relaxing day, but it turns out that the laundry tub is clogged and there was a minor flooding incident that created some stress in the household. It is temporarily okay, nothing is actively leaking and the plumber should be able to take care of things tomorrow. It was just some brief aggravation that was cleaned up fairly quickly, and these things certainly happen. I can almost laugh about it now, since no real harm was done and all the laundry did get handled somehow. Oh well, now I have dinner tomorrow to look forward to and a trip to the farmers market the next day, so there are happy things in the future. Strut Your Stuff

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have another hunt for us to enjoy, the Strut Your Stuff Hunt. It's a dollarbie one, so each prize is just a single linden, hiding inside cute peacocks. They look like they are made of wood and painted blue and green. There are hints on one page of the hunt's website, and prize previews on another, with landmarks on both so you can navigate the hunt path with either. I was glad to find so many wonderful prizes, so let's take a peek at tonight's selection.

Twisty's Twistalicious Creations has a beautiful gown for those fancy occasions as their prize, called :TTC: Twistys FormalPlease Gown w/Hud. For just $1L you will receive the dress in sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, plus the HUD that has 8 diffferent textures to choose from. Some are solid colors like the right, others have a delicate pattern like on the left, all are such pretty options for this intriguing style.

This beauty is less formal than the prior gown, yet just as eye-catching in its own way :) It is the prize from Changed Seasons called MARIA, and consists of a separate top and skirt each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. The pencil skirt has a zipper detail and small slit in the back, and the gold top actually reminds me of a different hunt this month, but more on that in a few days ;) Just find the hidden peacock and you can claim and enjoy this terrific look.

The Sissy Bar wants to help you Strut Your Stuff too, with this delightful multicolored mini dress. It is provided in a standard fitmesh size as well as versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. Whatever your favorite color is, you can probably find it among this watercolor-like texture that I simply adore.

I was also fortunate enough to find the Aguas prize called Nana Mesh Dress Strut Your Stuff. It has a feathery pattern in white and pale blue, with matching attached belt, and comes in standard mesh sizes plus Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a Fitted version for various shapes and bodies. The plunging neckline would be great to show off a favorite necklace!

My final look of the evening is a flirty gift from [Drac] called SYS Hunt - Sharon Dress. It is a rich burnished gold color, almost bronze, and the front and back panels are just connected at the top and then tied together with ornate bows. Inside this gift, you'll find sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. So sexy!

I apologize for not posting this last night, but there were technical difficulties thanks to Google (parent company of blogspot/blogger where I compose this) having problems with servers and images. This would have been a very boring post without the photos ;) Tonight's problem is facebook, where my games (not SL related) do not work and I have time-sensitive things expiring in those. Technology is driving me batty lately! I was planning on taking tomorrow off from blogging because of a dentist appointment with sedation, but now I feel guilty after the forced absence. I'm undecided now what I'll wind up doing, to be honest, but with a little luck my next post will be fairly soon. PS...Nails and More Puppy Love

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a few more prizes from the Puppy Love Hunt to share, since there were so many fun ones that I couldn't resist doing a part two. The prizes are $1L each and hiding inside small pink pet beds with a white dog bone on it. The website has hints and preview photos, as well as the locations for all of the participating stores, so it is very helpful to have available while you are searching for these terrific prizes. I have a special focus on nails tonight, with not only a hunt prize but a free group gift too.

First we have the Byzantine Lagenlook Dress by COVETED! which is hiding inside their pet bed. It has a handkerchief hem and a wonderful golden design on it, and comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. 

If I had to give an award for Most Whimsical Prize, tonight it would certainly go to Twistys Twistalicious Creations for this adorable :TTC: Twistys Twistacorn Onesie - Valentine. Susie's Shoppe has a flirty prize called Poodle Puppy Dress for us, with images of a classically groomed poodle adorning the fabric. This is a nice style to go dancing in, with the full short skirt and simple strapless neckline.

Your nails can show off your love of furry friends too, thanks to the PS...Nails prize called Love Print. There are appliers included for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, each with 16 colors of this charming design, for both fingers and toes. Just find the pet bed for a single linden dollar and these are all yours :)

These lovely polishes are all part of the latest PS...Nails group gift, Passionate Pinks. The group is free to join, and this month's gift consists of appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink in 16 shades of pink from bright to dramatically deep. Get Lucky and Get Hunting

Hiya everyone! Tonight we have some hunt prizes to see, from the New Year Hunt which is a $1L gridwide hunt in which we are looking for a red question mark at each store. There are hints on their website along with some preview images of the prizes. Don't panic at the name, the hunt lasts until the end of the month so you have almost a week remaining to find these goodies. While I was exploring one of the stores, I found several lucky chairs that do not need any particular group tag, and had a seat on one to win a prize that I am happily showing all of you too. I had good timing, and with 5 different chairs changing fairly often, hopefully you can do the same.

First we have the $1L prize from Grumble, their Vintage Roses Halter Dress. It may have a classic pattern, but the dress has a very modern style, not to mention flirty. The gift includes sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, all with the low dip in the back and fluttery mini skirt.

Sometimes we need something alluring, and this fantastic prize by Carrie's Lingerie is a jaw dropping example of alluring. CB~Camille Ice is provided in system layers and an Omega applier for the corset, gloves, panties, and stockings, and you can bring your favorite male avatar to claim that very same gift because it contains a matching pair of boxers. The color is wintry, but the intricate lacy style (check out the seams on the back of the legs!) will warm up any evening.

How cute is this outfit from Prism? It is called Bellisima by Journey, and it is looking lovely in lavender for all 3 components. This is the lucky chair prize I mentioned in the very beginning, from one of the chairs at Twistys. Let It Snow Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight is a timely post, depending where you live, since it features some prizes from the Let It Snow Hunt 2. There is a huge winter storm headed to the north of me this weekend, so this could help you get ready for some cozy SL time if you are in those areas and plan on staying indoors :) Regardless of where you are, $1L gridwide hunts are a fantastic way to find new stores to enjoy or to visit old favorites and pick up a gift for an impressively low cost. All you have to do is follow the hint and find the hunt object, in this case a small snowflake in a pale minty aqua color. I suggest looking at the hunt signs in each store since there are usually examples and there is another snowflake hunt that has a similar hunt object.

My first look is the prize from Twistys Twistalicious Creations, their :TTC: Twistys ComfyCozyCute Dress w/Hud. It is a single mesh piece but layered as a tank dress and long vest, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The HUD mentioned in the name offers 6 texture choices for each section, coordinating rather than matching exactly. You can have a lot of fun with the versatility it provides, with just two of many possibilities shown above.

This comfy outfit is KELLI ~ from Changed Seasons, their Let It Snow hunt prize for finding the $1L snowflake. The turtleneck sweater and high waisted jeans each come in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, and could each be worn with other things if you prefer to shake things up.

If your SL plans this coming weekend include snuggling with someone special, why not pick up the perfect loungewear by claiming the hunt prize at Wiccan Wears? This is their Sophie L.Purple Sleepshirt, and it comes in standard mesh sizes with the matching panties built in. All of my homes in SL have had fireplaces, so I tend to envision that, but any sofa or bed will do with the right company.

One last look of the evening, we have the prize from The Sissy Bar which is named TSB Let It Snow Hunt 2. It is an oversized sweater (your choice if you wear it as a short dress or layer some jeans/leggings beneath) in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes for mesh bodies. The color is a soothing soft blue with Let it Snow! artistically scrawled across the front and dusted with some snowflakes. I believe this one in particular was located near the other snowflake hunt object, so just take note of the differences so you know which you're claiming :) 

I hope I didn't sound too glib about the upcoming snow, as I am concerned for everyone who is in the affected areas but try to keep things light and cheery. You can probably guess that I am one of those people who giggles nervously at the wrong times too, yikes. Long Winter's Nap

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some time-sensitive treats to share, starting with the Long Winter's Nap Hunt. It ends when November ends, so don't delay if you are interested! The prizes are just $1L each, tucked inside blue oval blankets with a pair of pillows on them also in shades of blue. I must admit, I get a kick out of seeing what the hunt organizers select as the hunt object to represent their themes :) In addition to hunt prizes, I have a lucky chair prize to show you that does not need a group tag to claim, just a little luck that your initial comes up. Once Upon a Midnight Dreary...

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more prizes to share from the Quoth The Raven Hunt, which is a $1L gridwide hunt with the option to purchase the prizes outright for $25L at the sign in each store if you choose not to hunt. We are searching for ravens, with the help of the hints on the website which is also our source for all SLurls. With the hunt being themed on Poe's The Raven poem, it was fun to choose the first few words of the poem as my post title tonight.

First we have the prize from Twistys Twistalicious Creations, their TTC Twistys Spidercrawl Dress. It comes in several colors (purple & orange shown above plus grey, pink, red, and white) each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The style is very flirty with open sides held together by studded straps, and there is a special surprise regarding the spider pattern - they move! That's right, you can watch them skitter around on the animated fabric. 

S&B is offering a playful dress also decorated by arachnids, and with a bonus witchy hat to top things off. The dress comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, while the hat attaches to our chin and can be edited to adjust. You might notice tiny red dots on the dress, that would be from the spiders who have glowing red eyes to add to their spook factor.

I had to use my Photoshop modesty flowers tonight, LOL, for this very sexy lingerie set by Freya's Fashions. It is called FF Julia (Orange H'Ween QtR Hunt) and includes system layers as well as an applier HUD for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink. The bra and panties are delightful for this season or any time of year, and are wonderfully textured with detailed lace trim on the satiny fabric.

Next we have a charming outfit from Georg Bellic Design simply called Quoth the Raven Hunt, and it comes in two versions. They each come in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The difference between V1 and V2 looks to be the cute witch image on the back, which is only found on V1. The second version is fully our classic orange plaid pattern.

For my final look of the evening, I'm enjoying the ladies' prize from Mishmash Fusion called ~*MF*~ Something True Gown - Nevermore. It has a fantastic pattern on the skirt with ravens and the word Nevermore among other images, and the corset-like strapless top in deepest black adds mystery. It comes in a standard size along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. There is a mens' prize included in the same raven too.
