Hiya everyone! Tonight once again I am thrilled to share a few glimpses of the many bargains to be found at the Wash Cart Sale, whose current round has a theme of Indian Summer. It is a bit warmer where I am than usual for September, so I can relate very well but would enjoy these amazing offerings regardless. The hunt I am currently working on, and sharing prizes from, is the Renaissance VI Hunt which is a free gridwide hunt starting at a charming Renaissance Fair. These may sound like drastically different ideas between the cart sale and the hunt, but each offers plenty of charm and opportunity to explore new areas, new stores, and amazing shopping.
My first look is actually two, but both found at the same cart at the Wash, that of Daisy's Closet. I felt very feminine and flirty in both the Vallium Dress in Cherry Blossom on the left, and the Hyacinth Romper in Butterfly on the right. For just $10L per outfit, each is provided in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and each style is offered in other colors/patterns too. Perhaps you are in the mood for something in more of a teal or aqua color, then Luziefee has a charming Gladys dress that might be right up your alley. This is Gladys 2, just one of six colors on offer at the cart sale, and they are $10L each for a pack of standard sizes. The delicate lace collar and the long sleeves are just right for the cooler days ahead, while the breezy skirt will ensure you don't feel too covered up. I combined two hunt prizes to come up with a truly regal look here. The gown is from Whymsical Marketplace (#014) and this is their gorgeous Queen Marie Antoinette Gown and it is included in standard mesh sizes. I love that collar! There are matching shoes for Slink High hiding under the gown, that same stunning blue shade. I accessorized with the lovely Drakenshard Necklace from ~*W I L L O W*~ in their Ladies version, the mens version is also provided in their free prize. They are stop #005 in the hunt, and create some really eye-catching jewelry so I always enjoy visiting there. Be sure to say hello to the handsome reindeer out front of the store.
For something a bit darker, a visit to #017 Tayren's Fantasy Fashions is in order. This is their Necromancer Sorceress Costume (there is also a Sorcerer for the gents) and includes many components along with a notecard detailing the history of necromancy which I found quite interesting. The hooded gown you see here comes in standard mesh sizes, and the horns, bone necklace, and skull candle staff shown are included as well. Included but not shown are a fair skin, a shape, a pair of slippers, and tintable hair that works well with the hood.
One last look for the evening, these are the beautiful nails I've been enjoying today from the Dark Knight Decor cart. Just $10L gets you these fantastic Bohemian Summer Nails for Slink. As you can see there are 5 colors on this HUD, each with the exotic lace design, and you can mix and match to your heart's content. This is one event you don't want to miss! I am also sharing some more free hunt prizes from the Kiyomizu Hunt, which is a seasonal favorite of mine as well. Time to have a peek or several...

You may be wondering about the decor I am standing beside, the fireplace and accessories, they are from another cart at The Wash by The Mustard Seed. All 4 pieces you see are from their Menu-Driven Fireplace balsam & driftwood, so it includes the fireplace itself plus the basket of wood, the Keep Calm plaque, and the anchor behind it but they are separate and can be moved individually if you choose. The menu for the fireplace controls the fire, light, particles, and sound so you can really adjust this to suit your mood and tastes perfectly. How about another group of wonderful cart sale finds? I will start with my outfit, which is from Luziefee and is called LUZ Pamela 7. System layers and an Omega applier are included for this short romper in such pretty colors. Mainstore link here, cart directly linked in the credits. The gorgeous jewels upon my feet are one of 4 such selections on the Roped Passions cart, their All a Flutter Foot Jewelry in teal (the others are black, red, or purple) for either Slink or Maitreya feet. I am seated upon a tufted ottoman from Park Place Home Decor, from their cart which also has another color and other styles as well. Last but certainly not least in this image is a new friend of mine, the *Pastiche* Shibu's Sleeping from their cart. Ninja kitty time! Here I am rushing to take an order in my snazzy new waitress outfit from #37 in the Kiyomizu hunt, ::*Ran*::. It is provided in standard mesh sizes with a pair of system pants, glitch pants I imagine, and I love the pancakes on the shirt and apron. Karin is a delightful store I first discovered several seasons ago of the Kiyomizu hunt, and this lovely prize is hidden at their store in the mall itself. This Tunic Skirt fittingly has a stunning black cat silhoutte on it among those flowers, and the cutout sleeves are an excellent touch.
Once again I get to show off some dazzling nails :) These are from the Nail It Good cart, so just $10L will get you their Bubble Gum 2 HUD which is compatible with Slink, Omega, Belleza, and Maitreya nails in 6 playful bubbly designs that remind me of tie dye. I admit tonight's blog post is running a bit late because I was watching the Game of Thrones season finale...I went through quite a range of emotions watching, and I think they set up things very well for next season to be very exciting. That's all, no spoilers here, just glad I watched since the internet is dark and full of spoilers ;) Oh I do have a hair note tonight, I have no willpower when it comes to Truth new releases so I did visit the Fantasy Collective to pick up their new Loni style in gingers as shown here. First we have a sneak peek at two of the 5 styles of the Jasmine Dress at the Artic Storm cart, just $10L per style. An extra treat is that the top has a color change HUD, 3 choices including a matching chocolate (not shown), and the pink and the green shown above. One of the group gifts I have to share tonight is this intriguing Sabina Celestial Romper from Petite Mort. As a perennial night owl, the moon and stars hold a strong appeal for me, so the texture makes me as happy as the playful style. The sign looks like a flowery background so perhaps an unofficial springtime theme this round, and as ever it has been so enjoyable hunting with Xan while he quotes Goldmember :) I do a lot of laughing while searching for the golden cocks, and highly recommend teamwork to make it even more amusing. First we have this intriguing outfit from Daisys Closet, who are #063 in the hunt path. Their prize is simply called HYIS Hunt Outfit, and consists of system layers plus an Omega applier for the top and pants with the intricate cutouts, and sexy shoes for Slink, Maitreya, and Belleza. I can easily see myself wearing this often :)
Artistic.Rage is store #027 and I must admit, I laughed when I realized why their prize is named Cocky Blue Skirt & Crop Top...look closely at the fluttery top and you'll notice that interesting pattern ;) And there's a Captain Winkie on my skirt! Possibly in case you're headed somewhere that frowns upon fashionable peniswear (how dare they?), they have also included a bonus gift boxed up inside the main gift, which can be seen on the right. That's their Spring Flowers skirt and crop top, and all the parts to both outfits are included in standard mesh sizes with a Maitreya version added for the cocky skirt.
Another familiar sight from this hunt is amazing lingerie, and this gift #043 from Firelight Creations is clearly no exception. Their {FC} Isabella Set is in system layers and appliers for Belleza, Lolas, Maitreya, and Slink which I've used on my feet here. There are versions with and without the garters and bows as you can see, and for the right photo I just added a single jacket layer to add the belt, garters, and bows. It also includes the multi strand black bead necklace and pumps for Slink high, all shown above.
For my last look of the night, I have paired a saucy dress with a versatile and lovely necklace. The dress is prize #062 from Kreepshow Kouture, Get Dirty in fitmesh sizes including standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Physique. The necklace is from Tantalum, #062 in the hunt path, called Arenal Necklace Version 2. It includes a HUD with many functions such as full bright, resize, glow, shiny, and texture which is what I've used to show a few of the 15 stone options available.

My dedication to warmer weather in my blog seems to have worked its magic on my RL weather, our expected 3-5 inches of snow turned into just flurries :) So let's enjoy some springtime beauties, shall we?
Our first Cart Sale look comes from Daisy's Closet, whose bargains available this round need to be in your closets too! Park Place Home Decor is another must-visit cart at the Wash, and as you can tell from this picture they are offering more than just ways to beautify your home. They have 3 skirt sets for sale, two of which are shown above, their Jolie Tank Top & Zippered Skirt in Blue/Tan on the left, Pink on the right. Each set will cost you just $10L and includes 6 sizes for each the top and skirt, standard plus a fitmesh version. Next stop at the Cart Sale, ORQUIDEA and their Lolita Dress! The flared skirt and pretty pinstripes are delightful touches to this alluring dress, just $10L and in standard mesh sizing. I added a bit of pizazz in the form of the Atarah Diamond Ruby Silver Choker Set from Luminesse, one of many gorgeous offerings on their cart. For a mere $10L you get the stunning choker and matching earrings, so elegant and already a favorite of mine. Click each blue name above for their main stores, and you'll find the cart sale locations in the credits as always :) The main store for Luminesse is actually quite close to their cart so you should see it when you visit.
Kiyomizu Hunt time, first I have our prize from #29 White Shell, their Sakura dress with optional bow at the neck. You will receive the dress in just one size, XS, and the bow is called 1 White Ribbon but it looks black to me, and it does bling so if bling isn't your thing or you just aren't in the mood for a bow, you can leave it off and still have a lovely look. The blossoms of the pattern really caught my eye :)
For a more casual look, find that hidden ninja cat at Karin (this is at their main store, not at the mall location) and you'll claim the cutest mesh skinny jeans, exclusively for this hunt. They are in many sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique, and the prize includes the system layer shirt with charming design. I love the kitten playing with the ball of yarn on the jeans, and the way the cuffs and pockets have a contrasting fabric. I will probably pair these in the future with something red to pick up those colors.

I have some more Hunt For Your Inner Slut prizes to share tonight, and the title of the post is because of this round's theme, Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy :) This hunt is interesting for me because it brings me a step or two outside my usual comfort zone, but I believe you can't grow without exploring boundaries. Here's to growth, and fun prizes!
First we have a cute and casual look from Daisy's Creations, #034 in the hunt. It includes a hitchhiker polo shirt in standard mesh sizes, a pair of shorts in a system layer plus HUD with Slink, Maitreya, and Omega appliers, and a pair of high tops with built-in socks for default feet.
This one gave me quite a chuckle...have a glance at the Galaxia Dress from **DSO** who are #037 in the hunt, standard mesh sizes of dress with matching boots in 5 sizes plus unrigged. That logo on the front says HYIS13 on it, and the image above it? There's a better look on the back, and why yes that IS the hunt object ;) I love the shiny contrasting boots by the way, they look metallic or latex to me.
Lindy's is #039 in the hunt path, and their gift for us is their Alien Outfit with plenty of mesh-friendly components. You will receive the top in 6 colors (pink, blue, white shown L-R above, plus black, purple, and red) in a system layer and Omega applier for each color. Also included, the pants in system and Omega applier, and the belt which has a resize script built in. The mesh panels are see-through, so you could choose to wear nude pasties beneath the top.
My final look for the night is from Coull's Creations, #047 in the hunt, who went off-theme with a Valentine Dress which is sweet and playful. The design on the apron looks like an old fashioned valentine you'd hand out at school, and says "Hi, Sugar! Let's Be Valentines" in the hearts above and below the cute baker. I of course adore the bows in the front and back, and the frilly skirt is quite short but that adds to the fun :)
No nail note of the night, stuck with the Slink default HUD and a nice neutral French mani/pedi that matches my skin tone pretty well. Sometimes it's easier than choosing one HUD to match several different outfits in one post.
It's been a lazy kind of day, with a bit of hibernation thrown in for good measure...I am late again with my blogging, still shaking off cobwebs from a really weird dream and having a bit of tummy troubles. Christmas is really sneaking up on me, but I was sure to set aside some time to share some bargains and gifts with all of you :) The bargains can be found at the Wash Cart Sale, where nothing is over $10L and there are dozens of carts filled with a huge variety of clothing, decor, and more. The gifts I mentioned are, not surprisingly, Advent calendar gifts from across the grid. So let's have a peek, shall we?
For today's post I selected some very fun casual outfits from Daisy's Closet and their cart at the Wash Cart sale. These are Martha Outfit Hearts on the left, and Let It Snow Outfit Blue on the right, each of which are available in other colors/styles for the same incredible price of $10L. Each outfit comes with a mesh shirt, system layer pants/capris, and appliers for those bottoms in Slink, Maitreya, and Omega. Martha comes with sneakers for the default avatar feet, while Let It Snow comes with wintry boots also for default feet. Plenty more to see at their cart too, a lovely selection of similar outfits. You might be admiring my adorable decorations to my right, well if so I can't blame you but I can direct you to the Dixie Dandelion cart where you can pick up your very own for just $10L each. I can't resist that little tail poking out of the top left stocking! He is part of DD Woodland Puppy Socks Black, and his little brown and white friends are in the Silver version. Another "do not miss" cart is the one for Mystic Dragon Designs, where you will find some great fashions for men and women. On the left above I am wearing their Butterfly Dreams outfit, which is a single mesh piece in several sizes for your convenience. Center and right, you can see the very pretty Eliora Dress which is also just $10L on their cart. The straps on the back were too intriguing not to share, and I love the snowflake pattern.
There are 2 gifts waiting for you in the #21 on the tree at Purple Candy, and this My Season Aqua Mesh Dress is one of them. I am such a fan of this style, it's flirty yet still dressy enough for a club or special party. No group needed for this, by the way :) The dress comes in standard mesh sizes plus a "boob version" of each, and an applier is included for several types of boobs.
Back to casual for the final look of the day, this is one of the two Advent calendar gifts available today at Emerald Couture. EC Fall Blossom is a full outfit, consisting of the asymmetrical mesh blouse you see in standard fitmesh sizes along with a regular and a loose fit for each Slink and Maitreya. The boots are for classic avatar feet, and the tights are a system tattoo layer plus appliers for Maitreya, Belleza and Omega. A wonderfully complete outfit, in a gorgeous color! I also included a better look at the eyes I am wearing today, the Advent gift from Inkheart called Radiance Eyes in Shadows. I went with the basic Slink nail HUD again for versatility and to save time, hehe, because goodness knows if I started playing with my nails I would have been there all day ;) My day will include double checking a grocery list for Christmas Eve cooking, and some rest would be good too.
