Hiya everyone! Tonight I am exploring a dollarbie gridwide hunt called The Darkness Inside Hunt 2, organized by Dirty Little Secrets, so I'm sure you can imagine that the prizes are deliciously edgy. My style in SL tends to change like a mood ring from day to day, so these appeal to one of my many sides. If your wardrobe tends to lean towards dark colors with a touch of mystery, this is the hunt for you :) There are $1L paths for men and women, and a $25L path too, so be sure to check out that website and look at the prize previews while you're there. The prizes are hiding inside black candles with pinkish purple flames (my windlight settings might have affected that color, you may see as red or even something else) and there are hint givers at most locations as well as on the website. The candles hold special rewards for those who find them, as you are about to see. All of tonight's featured prizes are from the $1L female path.
This sexy dress is our prize from @AdReNaLiZeD@ called Ava Darkness Inside. She comes in sizes for Maitreya, Slink, TMP, and a fitmesh version for classic avatars, with an intriguing graphic beneath a unique neckline. The shape really accentuates our curves, doesn't it?
This prize really captured my imagination, with lots of lace and ruffles on a leather strapless mini dress. It is from SASSITUDE and called Leather & Lace Baby, in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies. The details are remarkable, every seam is immaculate and those pleated bows on the bodice are lovely.
For this look, I combined two prizes that work very nicely together. The top is from OMG! Inc. called Cindy Top Solid. In addition to the shirt itself in standard mesh sizes, you will receive a very handy HUD that lets you choose from 7 colors for the top and 12 choices for the belt. There are various combinations of buckle colors and belt colors, so be sure to click a few to see what you like. As for the pants, those are our prize from Waffles called *WW* Darkness Leggings, in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. They are cut very low in the front but come up a little higher in the rear, and will add that special something to any shirt you decide to wear them with.
If you need some elegant darkness in your second life, head to Fukin Cute and find this candle so you can claim their Maleficent's Dance gown. It comes in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and has that thigh high slit to catch someone's eye as well as that crisscross back that I am so fond of.
My last look of the evening is a prize that is rather different from the others, not quite on the dark side ;) It is the Ciara's Creations - Life's a Beach Blue, and the candles holds sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The top reads "Life is good at the Beach" and the skirt says Surf's UP on either side of the two surfboards. I think of it as a pleasant reminder that summer is coming (twist on Game of Thrones?) and maybe for someone who likes things dark, being a beach bum would be a dirty little secret. That denim trim is terrific, and I'm thinking of layering shorts or capris beneath for evenings that are still on the cooler side.
My hockey team may have played the worst game I've ever seen tonight, and that's saying something because I used to get dragged to amateur games too. This was an NHL game, it just didn't look like one...so I am bummed but I will cheer up eventually. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a few more Dirty Little Secret Hunt prizes to show you, each just $1L and hiding in black drawstring bags. The website lists them by number rather than name, but does offer hints, which can also be found at many of the stores in hint givers by the signs. There are several paths in this Sin City themed round, male and female along with unisex and home decor. There is also a $60L path, with plenty of info on their site to help you find all these treasures. I am also wearing some terrific jeans in the first two photos from Entice, currently for sale at The Liaison Collaborative event. I am definitely excited about these finds, and I hope you are too.
The shirt in my first look is our Dirty Little Secret hunt prize from Shae's Designs called Avery Shirts Dark Green, with fun lacing in the front. It comes in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, all for just $1L for finding that bag. The jeans are by Entice and called Baby I'm Yours Jeans, 8 individual colors for $150L each at Liaison Collaborative or you can pick up the entire fatpack for $450L which includes 2 bonus exclusive shades. The fatpack uses a HUD to provide all those color options, which is a very useful feature for sure. The jeans come in Belleza Freya, Maitreya, and Slink Hourglass sizes and are a flattering style, gathered at the bottom rather than cuffed or cropped short which I think is a great choice for cool weather. I kept on the Entice jeans (but am showing two different colors) and changed into the prize from Sassitude named Lady Luck. She is a sexy top with open sides and back, decorated on the front with many lucky icons to add some fun to your next night out. This style always makes me think of snuggling in front of a fireplace (with Xan, or one of our many adorable pets from various gachas) and makes me immediately feel relaxed and happy. It is our prize from Sin Original called Issues, and is a fun print with XOXO and lip prints scattered about. The prize includes sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine.
Next we visit Mishmash Fusion (be sure to say hi to the sleeping piggies in the landing area, and don't steal their bacon!) where their hidden bag contains this gorgeous DLS Sin City Hunt - Poker Face skirt set. The top and skirt are each included in Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a standard size. I love the ruffles on both, with the fun card suit symbols in the texture to give it that lucky flavor.
For my last look of the evening, we have another hunt prize, this time from Gross Princess called Jackpot Gold Bikini. This glitzy number features intricate straps connecting the top and bottoms, and comes in sizes for Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, Maitreya, eBody, standard Small, and standard Large. If this gives you the urge to take an SL holiday and visit someplace tropical, by all means go for it, you deserve it!
As January comes to a close, there are plenty of things on the horizon for us to enjoy together.
