Still Shopping and Hopping

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is all about the gifts from the Lavendar region of SL21B Shop & Hop. As I've mentioned before, this is part of the 21st birthday of Second Life, the shopping part ;) But all 480 participating designers (24 regions, 4 of which are adult) are offering gifts as well as selling selected merchandise for discounted prices, so it is a must-visit for anyone interested in saving some lindens while finding high quality fashion, decor, etc. I'm always excited to dig into these events, and FabFree has thoughtfully put together a spreadsheet of links, gift images, and color coded them by type so you can find exactly what you need. The celebration has just a few more days left, so be sure to visit by the 21st!

My first look of the evening is the [MSN Design] Lina Dress [FATPACK], a generous gift indeed. This lovely halter mini dress is softly gathered in the front and has a flirty plunging neckline. It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 20 colors each in solid or subtle texture (looks sparkly!) as seen on the left above. It really looks terrific in any color you select in either texture :)

In the midst of a RL heatwave, all I can think about is how great it would feel to be in a nice soothing pool somewhere, so now my avi can enjoy the same in our *SM* Gift 21 SLBD from Second Moon. The bra and panties are each provided in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Maitreya, Reborn, Juicy Boobs, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with lots of magic in the HUD :) That offers satin, metallic, and wet texturing, with solid/sheer/off options and laces choices 2/1/0 which affect the beads shown on the ends. By the way, if you turn the texture "off" it leaves behind a glowy tan line instead of any fabric, very sexy! If I recall correctly, I'm wearing it as solid satin on the left and sheer wet fabric to the right.

Since I enjoy mixing and matching, I kept the bottoms of the Second Moon bikini on and added a different top - the EVIE - Tender Crop Top - GIFT. This flirty little number has sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included, as well as a HUD with 30 colors each for the top and the strings. I chose a couple of hues that mimicked the bikini bottom a bit on the left, then went rogue on the right, LOL. Since this will pair beautifully with your favorite jeans, shorts, pants, or skirts, you can easily match it to anything you want.

The .:FlowerDreams:. Lore Dress is a beautiful nod to the store name with its myriad of floral patterns. There are 12 via HUD to choose from, as well as 12 coordinating colors for the chain belt. That fun belt and the dress itself are each designed to fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, and Reborn bodies. The dress looks just as pretty without the belt if you prefer, although I personally enjoy having the edgy double row of chain links in a slightly contrasting hue.

My final look tonight is the AlaFolie - CELESTE gift, which contains a pair of full-length dresses in bold colors. The noir and rouge (black and red, both seen above) versions each come in sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Senra Jamie mesh bodies. That last body intrigues me as I've never tried it on yet, but it is in all of our inventories in the library section automatically so one of these days I really need to give it a whirl :) Both colors have a golden yellow polka dot pattern, and the flowing style is a nice choice for a formal event in the hot weather. We can easily dress this up or down with the jewelry we select, and even the hairstyle we wear can make it look more fancy or casual.

It was quite a day, more so than I anticipated actually. I went to the primary care doctor for the 3rd time ever so far, and I asked if she thought we should switch me to a different medication since the first try isn't sitting well with me. She agreed and prescribed something else, so when the pharmacy has that ready in a few days (delays, sigh) I'll be immediately switching to that. The heat was just awful, and I had a fair bit of anxiety from that as much as being in the car. Once I got home, I seemed to lose any sense of bravado from being 'in public' and basically fell apart. There were many tears and much frustration, but I am feeling a bit better emotionally tonight :) The heat is still getting to me, and the next two days are going to be even hotter so that is just something I've got to figure out how to deal with for now. I urge everyone in the hotter areas of the world right now to check on friends and neighbors who might not be coping with the temperatures as well as we'd like to see. If they lose power or their air conditioner/fans aren't working, it could really be dangerous for them. Not trying to worry anyone, just want to spread a little message of caring and reminding you to look out for each other ♥. Shop and Hop Hollyhock

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings us back to the SL21B Shop & Hop event, which is open until the 21st of this month and loaded with exclusive offers, discounts, and free gifts for all. This time I am focusing on treats found the Hollyhock region, one of 20 moderate regions (there are also 4 adult rated ones) with 20 designers set up in each location. Second Life is definitely celebrating their 21st birthday in style! Please don't forget about the FabFree blog's listing, a spreadsheet with links and photos of all the gifts which can be sorted by store name, region, or type in case you want just men's gifts or decor for example. Their team worked so hard on it, and I'm beyond impressed by their devotion to helping all of their readers.

My first look of the evening is one of two exclusive sales offers from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co., called SUNSHINE IN A BAG Tees. It absolutely spoke to me as soon as I spotted it, and everything in their display is 40% off so now is a great time to pick up some comfy tees for yourself :) This one has 3 versions via HUD, the two above and another with a sunshine that says Sunshine in a Bag. In case you can't quite make them out, the left above has "When you can't find the sunshine, be the sunshine" on it and the other reads "You are my sunshine" with the "o" in you being a pretty yellow sun. I have had a hard time finding the sunshine lately in life, so this is a sweet reminder to look within. All of their tank tops are provided as unpacker HUDs with standard mesh sizes along with eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. Just open the ones you need at the moment and hang onto your HUD for future reference, your inventory will thank you ;) Can you believe this trio is just $90L? There is a free gift there too, but this time I am letting you discover that one on your own. It's worth visiting, that's for sure. I'm wearing my white Delizio jeans with it, one of several hues for free on the marketplace that are so handy for showing off goodies that are tops only.

The GoodVibes store has a few gifts for us, like this fun GoodVibes Only Womens Tshirt which is self-referential and a great motto for all. This pretty cropped tee will fit Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Star mesh bodies, and there is a cap included but not shown that has the same slogan on it and contains a resize script. My current hairdo simply does not play well with hats. There's a men's version of this gift too, and a swimsuit set for both in yet another gift package. Many thanks to them for their generosity!

Next we take a gander at the beautiful May24 - Laura Dress - SL21B Gift. This playfully styled halter dress is gathered in a few places and has long loopy bows to add some fun details. There are sizes for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes included, as well as a HUD with 21 color options. A few of those have two colors at once and 2 are tricolored like on the left above, with the rest being a wide range of solid colors. So tempting!

The generous FurtaCor gift includes 3 colors of their Xyca Dress, so I randomly chose two to show off above :) The Red is on the left, Lilac on the right, and Yellow is the one included but not shown. As you can see, they are all lovely short sleeved dresses with corset style bodice and lacy ruffles on the skirt, very romantic! Each is packed separately with Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing. I am a fan of all three colors in this trio, and am really grateful to have the 'problem' of trying to decide which to wear next.

My final look of this evening is a combo of two Tea Lane treats that are absolutely free for all visitors. The ~TL~ Birthday Cake Cropped Tee has a simply precious image on the front, and from now on I want to insist that all my birthday cakes smile at me like that ;) There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Prima Busty, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies, so it fits plenty of popular brands. It also looks dreamy when paired with their ~TL~ Birthday Cake BoM Skinny Jeans gift, which is just as the name states...BOM or system layers to work with most avatars. The same cheery cake appears on this print, on denim jeans that are tinted a bright teal shade. 

Not much to say about my day, as it was quiet but very hot. The air conditioning can't get the house to under 80 degrees during this heatwave, so my much-needed fans are mostly just blowing warm air at me. That isn't the most helpful thing, lol, but I have to convince my body to get used to it since it seems like it's going to be a very long, hot summer. Whew! Gleaming at Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the Gleaming region at SL21B Shop & Hop, one of 20 moderate regions (there are also 4 adult ones) to visit for lots of exclusive offers, discounted sales, and gifts galore. I've shared a few already, and since we have until the 21st I'm sure I will have at least one more post before it wraps up :) Free gifts, no group needed, what else could we ask for? I am grateful to all 480 designers taking part, as well as the FabFree team for organizing a spreadsheet of all the stores, gifts, photos, and locations. I refer to it when I want to make sure I didn't miss any gifts, and to verify that I've got them sorted accurately by region. 

My first look is the gorgeous Belle Epoque - Aiora - Pride dress, a corset style mini with a rainbow of hearts scattered about. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies included. I really like the lacing in the back, and the way skirt is gathered towards the pointed front of the bodice.

Next I changed into MOoH! Tiffany Dress, another don't-miss gift :) This strapless maxi dress has a fun full skirt and is styled wonderfully for summer. At this point I changed from Lara 5.3 to Lara X, so I am wearing both bodies in this post :) It is interesting to see who is still creating for both, and who is sticking to Lara 5.3 and who has moved onto Lara X only. I suspect that from time to time I will be wearing both in the same post like tonight. I don't mind since I use the same shape so it's just a few quick clicks, and I have an outfit saved with just each body.

Tis the season, no not that season but swimsuit time :) Our Evergreen - SL21B GIFT is a beautiful purple and silver one-piece with scale texturing, so you can feel like a mermaid even if you are on the sand instead of in the ocean. I love the crossed straps in the back, and the way the cut is flirty yet relatively modest to be easy to wear to more locations.

Speaking of which, how lovely is that scalloped lace at the hem? The bows are a nice match too, and the color options work so well with the fabric's print. 

I went to my podiatrist appointment this afternoon, and it went fairly well. That's not to say the anxiety wasn't an issue, but I somehow got through it anyway and convinced myself to persevere. The visit itself went smoothly since nothing was ingrown, just long, so no painful digging or anything. I've been chatting with my mom to narrow down plans for Friday's dinner, what we do instead of a BBQ for this type of holiday...turkey burgers, hot dogs, rotisserie chicken, and she will make potato salad which I always enjoy. None of these are going onto an outdoor grill, so it's really just a nod to years past when we actually did that :) I've voted for cheddar cheese for the burgers this year. Gilded Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some more SL21B Shop & Hop gifts to share, but unlike last night's these are on a non-adult region called Gilded. There are 20 moderate regions like this, and 4 adult ones, all of which have 20 displays apiece for a total of 480 amazing stores. All have discounted items and gifts, and I cannot recommend the FabFree guide enough for deciding where to go :) Their team worked so hard on it and are keeping it updated as needed. As for the event itself, the 21st birthday of SL's celebration is open until the 21st of July so we have time to visit everywhere and enjoy.

I'm starting the evening strong with the sexy [ADD] Valerie Dress - BlueL gift. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with a very handy HUD. That offers latex (left above) or silk (right) texturing, 7 metals and 5 glossiness settings, plus 10 colors and an on/off option for the built in panties. It looks fantastic from the back as well as the front, don't you think?

Another don't-miss gift is the ::ALTER:: Aruba Top & Skirt (Suit) ~ Gold seen above. They are actually linked together as one piece, which fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The top has a really fun collar connected by diagonal strap across the front, with lots of bands to help create this playful style.

When you visit the Grumble display, you'll find several free gifts there including this sassy Wrap Dress-Bear treat. Next we have a versatile gift from ERSCH called Reenis Dress -lilac- . The name doesn't even give you the full picture though, as it includes the dress, panties, and a separate top that will each fit Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, Mounds, and Waifu bodies. There is also a HUD with 50 different colors for the pearls and 10 for the metals, so we can really customize the appearance :) The top can be worn instead of the dress, with the panties, if you want the look of just seashells and pearls with no flowing skirt portion.

For my final look of the night, I'm feeling romantic in our .:(CW):. Nicole Sexy Dress SL Happy! gift from Celestina's Weddings. It is delightfully ruffly, and the soft creamy color will flatter many. It was a decent day here, hot but no rain, and dinner with my parents was nice. Unfortunately my mom's oven has been acting up lately and running hotter than set for, so the stuffed shells were overcooked and wound up with a few crunchy spots. She was embarrassed but we didn't care and I even brought home a few leftovers :) I'm starting the new dose of one of my medications in the morning, and I don't expect to feel any differently because it is just a small increase, at least not for a while. Special Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is another SL21B Shop & Hop exploration, with all featured gifts found on the Trillium region. Please note that this is an adult region, one of 4 this round, so your settings will need to allow you to visit such areas and you can expect to see various levels of adult items ;) That can range from furniture for mature activities to very adult artwork for your walls, and I even saw a gift that is an animesh companion of a male member. I've been around SL for long enough not to be shocked, LOL, but it is worth mentioning for those who are sensitive to such things and I would never judge anyone for that. The gifts I am showing you are not overly adult in nature, so this post is still safe for most eyes :) SL21B is open until the 21st of July, which gives us lots of time to visit all 24 S&H regions as well as many other festivities.

My first look is the gift from small named OMG It's The Sweet Little Grey Dress! which tickled my funny bone. The name certainly gives you a great idea of what to expect, a heather grey mini tank dress that fits like a flirty dream. It includes sizing for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I always enjoy neutrals because of the possibilities of either adding lots of brightly colored accessories, or keeping things simple with equally neutral colors.

Next I shimmied into the sexy [Sarafashion] BODY DESTINY gift. This one-piece lingerie set will fit Freya, Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Prima Busty mesh bodies. There's also a HUD included, with 8 color choices for the lace embroidery on the sides both front and back. It's great to have a look with sheer mesh, solid bra cups and panties, and double garters all built into one easy to wear outfit. 

I kept that bodysuit on here because I needed to layer something over top of it, the .cococat. Bae T-shirt - GIFT Unisex treat. There are black and white versions each of this lifted shirt, in sizes for Anatomy, Belleza Jake, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy F, Legacy M, Bombshell, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies. We can wear so many different styles of clothing with this, like BOM bras, tank tops, strapless dresses, or pasties to name just a few examples. 

The [GIULIADESIGN]-EWA- 1 gift may look familiar, as it is also being offered as a group gift at a different event ;) I blogged it last week as a matter of fact, lol, but it felt worthwhile to share again since it is so classically lovely. The dress gives the appearance of a turtleneck sweater and frilly hemmed miniskirt combined, and is provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Lara X, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. 

For my final look of the evening, I'm definitely ready for some dancing in the [ZEX] Dreamer Top & Skirt @SL21B Shop & Hop gift! This shiny gold tank top and tiny miniskirt are each designed for eBody Reborn, Juicy, Kupra, Legacy, and Lara X mesh bodies. The rear view is a bit revealing of some booty cheek, so make sure your destination is okay with that :) I think a mature nightclub with fun lighting will show off this outfit to its reflective finest.

It was a quiet day and I'm fine with that, and tomorrow will be dinner at my parents' which I am looking forward to :) The weather is still muggy, but that is why I have 2 fans in here now and can try to stay cool and comfy. Shop and Hop Halcyon

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the Halcyon region of SL21B Shop & Hop, one of 24 regions that are filled with offerings from top designers, 480 of those to be exact :) There are free gifts at every display, with exclusive offers and discounted items galore so get your favorite virtual walking shoes ready and your virtual wallet. I'm going to mention again the hard work of the FabFree team in keeping a spreadsheet with landmarks and photos for every single gift, sharing that link with a huge thank you to their team. I just finished visiting places this morning and I still have some organizing of gifts to do, but I do keep them sorted by region to help you track down the gifts I'm sharing a bit easier.

My first look is perfect for soon-to-be brides, or anyone who appreciates the fine craftsmanship that comes with a sheer lacy gown in snowy white. The :Moon Amore: Bride's Dream Gown / SL21Bday GIFT comes in sizes for eBody, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with an alpha layer to help the dress fit a little better in the narrow waist area. That side slit is a popular detail in RL bridal gowns too from what I've seen on social media, and I love the intricate strap detailing.

Next we have the flirty Miamai_Rika Minidress HOTPINK_SL21B GIFT, an irresistible slip dress with one strap sliding down the left shoulder. Whew, what a wild evening for hockey fans! It was game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, no not that trendy kind you drink out of (you have no idea how confusing it was for me to hear about influencers wanting a Stanley cup when I know it as a sports trophy!) but a prize my favorite team hasn't won since I was an itty bitty toddler. The Panthers won the first 3 games, the Oilers won the next 3 to tie things up, and that left one last game to win it all. The final score was 2-1 Panthers so obviously it was amazingly close, and I expect that there is much partying in Florida tonight. As for me, I have a blood draw tomorrow that I am terrified of simply because it means leaving the house and going further than my usual little outings, so I'm struggling to calm myself. I am taking tomorrow evening off from blogging as a mental health day, and I'll be starting to fast in a couple of hours so my day is not going to be a particularly fun one. I know I've done this dozens of times before and I can do it again, logic is just not taking a hold in my panicking brain. SL21B Shop And Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm really excited to share some SL21B Shop & Hop gifts, as there are 24 regions loaded with 480 total stores who are nearly all offering free gifts with no group tag needed. SL21B is SL's 21st Birthday, a grand celebration with a theme of elements (like fire and water, not as in oxygen and magnesium) that is optional but is resulting in some terrific creations. It opened on the 21st and we have until the 21st of July to explore it all, and with all the celebrations we almost need that much time! The shopping is a big part of it but not the entirety, so I'll refer you to the official destination guide to see the bigger picture. I can't decide if I look like a fairy, pixie, or princess here! This is the * EXiA * Evelina Dress SL21B Gift, and it starts with the beautiful full skirted dress in sizes for Legacy, Lara X, and Petite X bodies. There are panties built in, and separate sleeves that seem to fit all of the body sizes. Now if you'd prefer this without the panties I mentioned, there is also a HUD with show/hide options for them :) So with or without panties, with or without adding the sleeves, there are plenty of ways to wear this feminine and frilly beauty.

Next we see the stunning Utopia Little Star Gift! dress, a single piece with a layered look since it appears as though the front was cut out to reveal a bra or bikini top. My final look this evening is our gift from Salt & Pepper called S&P Fernanda dress FATPACK. At this point I realized I'd misread and had to swap bodies from Legacy to Lara X, lol, as the only body I own from the sizes provided :) Those would be Gen X Classic, Gen X Classic Dainty, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, and we also receive a wonderful HUD with 16 colors each for the cotton lace and the satin/bow portion. It sure looks like I got very attached to pale pink hues here, huh? The darker dramatic colors are as pretty as the pastels of course, and I try to show as many different colors at once for contrast to demonstrate which sections are which.

Generally my life is boring, so why do my weekends tend to be so chaotic lately? My housemate woke me up as soon as I drifted off to sleep, to tell me that there is a big loud wasp in the house somewhere and I need to...help? Protect him? I don't know. He wound up leaving the house for most of the day, getting home just in time for my therapy appointment which I decided to have indoors instead of out and about in the car in the stifling heat. There was a thunderstorm during my session, so the therapist got to watch me flinch and jump for a reason other than car anxiety ;) Otherwise it went well, a deep dive into my psyche, so not comfortable but effective. I scheduled an appointment for a blood draw on Tuesday, which will be helpful to get my health things on the right path.
