Light of a Clear Blue Morning

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time for some Blue SL event group gifts, which means it's also time for me to find a song title with "blue" in it for my post title. It's a habit I started and can't seem to break, LOL, but it also shows how much I continue to enjoy this particular event :) Each round is open from the 18th of one month to the 8th of the following one, so you've got almost 2 weeks left to stop by, join the free group, and claim all these generous gifts and more. There are $50L exclusives for sale each round, and the gifts do change so there's always something new for us to check out. My title honors the one and only Dolly Parton, whose kindness and talent will never be forgotten. It's a beauty of a song that she performed with several other artists including her goddaughter, Miley Cyrus, so be sure to check that out if you are curious. I am comforted that she is at peace with her beloved husband now, but my eyes are still leaking a bit tonight. 

My first look of the evening is the special VIP gift when you enter the building and turn right. Inti is offering their white top, cream top, and cream shorts all in sizes for Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn bodies, as well as the deep red shoes I'm wearing here that fit Kupra, Lara X, and Legacy bodies. The ability to mix and match various separates is always a plus in my mind, and the clothing being neutral hues means they'll worth with just about anything in your inventory. 

Upstairs at their display, you can also claim the Inti Cloe black dress by clicking the box and choosing your size. The menu offers Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn sizes, and if you need more than one please click again and repeat. The sheer sections and strong boning make this a real head-turner of a look, don't you think? There is a bit of bum cleavage peeking through in that rear view.

We can also feel flirtatious with the KS Designs Pink & Black Bombshell Bra and Ruffle Bottom gift, which is just $1L. The two pieces are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Ocacin, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. I did notice when I accidentally added the wrong one (LOL) that they are not all the same color, but I'm very happy with this pretty outfit trimmed with lace and bows in any hue :)

Next we can always count on Allure Couture for a fantastic gift, like this round's Paige Bikini-Skirt Set Lillies Pink. It consists of the bikini top, bikini bottom, shrug, and skirt, all in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. The bikini is solid pink, while the skirt and sleeves of the shrug have a lovely floral pattern that made me smile. It is nice to have the sarong style skirt to cover up the thong where appropriate, and of course to add the touch of flowers.

My final look of the night is the stunning @rOrO Cotton Candy Shanti Bodysuit gift. Honestly I have an entire collection of their gifts from various events and groups in teal and pink like this, and I LOVE them all! This treat includes sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The ombre or gradient of colors makes this a sassy and playful choice for day or night, and I'm sure to reach for it quite often.

It was a heck of a day, still processing the loss of Dolly Parton to find out that we also lost Tim Curry. Those are two irreplaceable and special humans who have made such an impact on this world! Part of me wants to hide in fear of the saying "things happen in threes" and worry about who's next. The rest of me wants to hide because I am now 14 hours away from my dental visit, and my anxiety is having a field day with it. Due to nitrous hangover, lol, I won't be blogging tomorrow evening, but I am trying to remind myself that this is just a cleaning and not a big deal. *deep breaths* There are still many days where the prospect of leaving the house is a big deal though, so I don't mean to dismiss that aspect.  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the Blue SL Event, which has about a week left on their current round and lots of $50L exclusive sales for us to enjoy. What you'll find here though is several group gifts that you can claim if you've joined their free group, and there are different goodies for group members each month so it is well worth the group slot :) As for the title, I've somehow developed a tradition of using song titles with the word 'blue' in them, and it's become more of a challenge as time goes by. Blue Savannah is a catchy Erasure song from 1990, a synth pop ditty that is romantic but not a slow song. It's not a genre I'm well versed in (pun intended?) so it was fun to look back and remember something I hadn't heard in ages. I also appreciate its reminder that home is where the heart is ♥ so SL truly is my second home. Eventually I might have to reuse some songs, lol!

Let's start with the flirty ELITE - BRASIL group gift, which you can pick up by clicking the word GIFT on their display rather than looking for the traditional blue and white hatbox shaped gift :) The top and shorts are each provided in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Squish mesh bodies. I'm gobsmacked at how beautiful the design on the top is, and I'd love a recommendation for a Brazilian region to visit in SL that might help me appreciate the natural beauty there even more. I'm also impressed by that spicy rear view, lol.

When you head into the event building and look to the immediate right, you will see a special VIP group gift each round. This time we have two treats in one box from Intisl, and when you click it you'll see a blue menu pop up with choices of body sizes - Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, or Reborn. If you want more than one size, by all means please give it another click and pick another one :) The Intisl Elie dress gold is the beauty on the left above, while Intisl Trace dress blue is looking fashionable to the right. I would ask which one you all prefer, but honestly it doesn't even matter when you get to pick up both for free :) As for my favorite, that depends on the destination and I think the gold dress looks hot for an evening at a club, while the blue is shorter and feels like a fun date choice. 

Our Nut & Squirrel Apsara casual gift outfit is a playful pairing of tank top, sleeves, leggings, and a belly chain that will all fit Belleza Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. There are HUDs as well, so we have 30 colors for the top, 30 for the sleeves, 20 solid colors and 20 patterns for the leggings, and 5 metals for the chains. Just use the arrows on the lower left of each HUD to see the next page of options. The top has a chain on it too by the way, just to help pull the look together :) Guess what I'm wearing around the grid tonight?

So I may have gasped out loud just a little when I spotted the beautiful @rOrO Cotton Candy Daisy Dress gift, but just look at it - can you blame me? :) Flowers make me happy, and this color combo is always a winner. The style brings thoughts of breezy summer evenings, maybe dancing with someone special to our title song. This gift includes sizes for Erika, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn bodies. 

My final look this evening is the Jada Shorts Set Teal gift from Allure Couture. I'm a huge fan of their creations, so I couldn't wait to unpack this treat! There is an unpacking HUD so you can choose to deliver Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, or Waifu mesh body sizes. That folder contains the top, shorts, and choker & sleeves which are linked together. The top and sleeves have a gorgeous floral pattern, while the choker and shorts are solid dusky teal. I'm wearing just the top and shorts on the right so you can see what it looks like to omit the choker & sleeves piece, just as lovely of course :) 

Whew, it's a steamy week out there! It was 78 degrees in here for a while, but it's down to 74 so I am feeling relief. My plans of gaming with friends for tomorrow got canceled unfortunately, due to plans that they forgot and can't change, but it's not a big deal and I still chat with one of them daily online. It's fun to have a gab session on the phone too of course, but I am very easygoing about plans changing since I've had to cancel things last minute plenty of times.  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post had me doing a deep dive into more songs with "blue" in the title, so that means it's time for the Blue SL event :) I have no idea why I started that habit, but each month I've been continuing it and I truly enjoy the challenge. So our event is a very fun one, with exclusive offers and $50L sales at each booth. You'll also find a group gift at many of them, mostly in hatbox style boxes tied with blue ribbon. The Blue SL group is free to join, and rather than just celebrating a yearly anniversary with gifts they tend to offer them every single month :) I've got the Linda Ronstadt version of the title song in my head by the way, which one do you know?

I'm sorry, did I roll my eyes out loud?  That is what the top of our [SINiNC] I'm Sorry Group Gift says, and the top and shorts are linked to be worn as a one-piece outfit. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, Juicy Rolls, and Waifu mesh bodies. I hope it's not too surprising that I have in fact said or thought this exact expression, usually when a family member or the housemate decides to act foolishly.

I couldn't resist showing you the @rOrO Ashley & Everly Hearts Pattern 3 outfit, since it has a great mix of flirty and romantic styling. The bare shouldered top and full skirt will each fit Erika, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. So pretty, and it is suitable for any season or lots of occasions. 

Sometimes we get lucky that among the gifts are separates that we can pair together if we wish. For example, The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. SWIM Tee is a versatile cutie that will go with a wide range of pants, shorts, leggings, and more. It has the word "Swim" in pink above the ocean, but there are a few suspicious tentacles so I hope you are a fast swimmer ;) This tee is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body versions, all via unpacker HUD so you can just choose the one you need. Nut & Squirrel are also offering a sweet treat for us, their lovely Lindsey dress for all group members. The wrap style is a perennial favorite of mine, something I remember from peeking at fashion magazines in doctors' waiting rooms as a kid :) There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included, along with 4 HUDs. Greetings from day two of a mini heat wave...I'm more of an "everything in moderation" type gal, including temperatures, so you can imagine that I am not at my best. Thank goodness for fans, and that I am a night owl who can enjoy when the temps drop in the darkness. It's going to be really weird when Thursday is 35 degrees cooler than Wednesday, thanks to lots of rain headed my way. Power outages are a strong possibility from the lightning or wind, so I will probably be a bit more nervous tomorrow.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the monthly Blue SL event, which is open until the 8th of May so you have time to enjoy. That might include picking up demos for the $50L sales offers or exclusives, and if you like what you see here tonight it should also consist of joining their free VIP group (if not already a member) and claiming some generous gifts :) They generally have new gifts each month, so it is always delightful to stop by and see what catches your eye. I'd developed a habit of using song titles with "blue" in them for my post titles, so I am sticking with that theme once again. I'm also taking suggestions for future rounds ;)

My first look comes from the wonderful Allure Couture, who are regulars here at Blue SL and always have something special. Their Kimono Set Pink comes on an unpacker HUD that lets you choose your body from Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu sizes. The folder will contain the kimono, C-string, and heels in the version you've selected. I've noticed that their gifts are frequently this shade of dusky mauve pink, and I am such a fan of it :)

Another brand I look forward to seeing here is @rOrO, and their Whitney PinkNTeal Jumpsuit is a perfect example of why :) These colors look phenomenal together, and the jumpsuit is the right touch of breezy and flirty with that fun opening in the front. There are sizes for Erika, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Nhumana, Prima, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies, with a HUD for the belt that offers 5 colors plus an 'off' option. So lovely!

I combined two gifts for one terrific seasonal outfit here. The Angels Amazing Creations gift is called Hello Spring Shirt, and it will certainly wake up the spirit of spring with the vibrant yellow hue :) We receive a classic M size as well as Freya, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Reborn, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body versions. The floral wreath image on the front says "Welcome Spring" in the middle. It pairs really well with the Intisl jeans black gift, which will fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn bodies. I got a kick out of the distressed style, with a few rips both front and back that show just how well worn and loved a pair of jeans can become.

Next we get flirtatious with the Nut & Squirrel Freyja gift. The way this dress is laced up in the back and tied with a sweet bow is just *chef's kiss*, lol, and it is a really versatile treat. The dress fits Erika, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 25 colors. The hardest part is picking just two colors to show off ;) 

Sometimes we just need something to snuggle, and the [.KK.] Cute Blue Doll Plushie gift from Khaos Kreations is ready to fill that need. Isn't she a sweetie? She's got a built in hold pose just like you see here, and I think the way her big blue bow matches her eyes is my favorite detail. 

All I can think about tonight is the hockey game I just watched, LOL, because it was just that exciting :) My team has had a rough road to the playoffs, and are playing truly exceptionally so I am a happy camper. The 4th game of the best of 7 series (currently 3-0) is going to be so wild to watch! Meanwhile I've got a hair appointment tomorrow along with a few other errands while I'm out, so no time for a blog post tomorrow evening. I'll be back on Thursday though.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some Blue SL event gifts to share, which can be yours with their free group tag when you visit. Visiting each month is such a pleasure, with exclusive offers, special $50L discounted items, and of course the gifts I mentioned :) Somehow I got into the habit of using "blue" song titles for my blog post titles, and this month's has the bonus of being named for a movie named for a song. Eventually I'll run out of songs I know and either reuse some or branch out to ones that are new to me I guess.

We start with the gorgeous Stacey Jumpsuit Set Pink gift from Allure Couture. Our jumpsuit, heels, and stars effect (a layer of tiny sparkles) are each provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes via unpacker HUD. There's something about lace that can be classic, elegant, sexy, or feminine, and the strapless bodice of this jumpsuit seems to be all of the above. Those leg openings really ramp up the sex appeal as well :)

@rOrO has a wonderful treat for us too, their Pink & Teal Flutterby Top & Shorts set. Both colors of the top and shorts are provided, each in sizes for Erika, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. The tops have pretty white ruffles on the shoulders and a butterfly cutout on the right shoulder blade, while the shorts have studs on the front of the waistband, matching butterfly cutout on the front, and "flutterby" in pretty script across the bum. I mixed them but they look terrific with the matching colors together too, whatever makes you happy :) There are lots of warm days ahead so this set will be very handy.

I kept the pink shorts on but swapped tops for the Intisl Bacardi top blue gift I also found at the event. It comes in Kupra, Lara X, and Legacy mesh body sizes, with long sleeves and fun crossed straps above the cropped hem that shows a bit of underboob. I had a tricky time trying to claim this one, as clicking it brought up a menu to buy for $0L but nothing happened. So I right clicked - more - buy in the pie chart thing (yep, I am technically challenged with terms LOL) and that worked :) The color is very pretty, and goes with the shorts surprisingly well. 

I must admit that one of my first thoughts when arriving was hoping that The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. had some goodies for us, and obviously my wish came true! Their gift this round is called C'EST CHIC Tee, and these sleek tank tops are indeed effortlessly stylish. The amber eye above the wording has some bold spiky lashes, and it's peeking to my left (photo right) so maybe it's keeping an eye out for curious neighbors. There are standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing included on the unpacker HUD.

My final look of the evening is their event exclusive, The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. PRETTY BALLERINA Tee. For $150L you receive all the sizes I mentioned for the prior tee, plus this one includes a HUD with 3 textures of beautiful ballerinas. When I was growing up it seemed almost every girl either wanted to be a ballerina or just loved watching them in action, and as I got older I started to understand the impressive dedication and athleticism required to succeed in the field. The shirt is quite a tribute to them!

I am struggling a bit tonight with anxiety about tomorrow's trip to the DMV, but my state ID expired almost 3 years ago and I really do need to get this picture taken so I have valid identification for those rare occasions that I do leave the house ;) Even if I'm "only" there for an hour, anxiety makes each moment feel like an hour in itself, and if you've ever felt trapped when in a crowded building, you already have an idea of how rough it can be for me too. My plan is to try to be well rested and bring a book, with my phone and earbuds in case I need to listen to something soothing. The app I like has videos with guides and affirmations, so I might have that in my ear while I sit there :) No blog post tomorrow, but I'll gladly be back Wednesday evening. True Blue SL

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some wonderful group gifts from the BLUE SL Event, whose current round just opened a couple of days ago and lasts until the 8th of March. The items aren't all blue by the way, so you will find lots of fashions and home decor in all sorts of hues and styles that may fit your tastes. I usually use a song title with 'blue' in it for their posts, and it looks like I somehow never used Madonna's True Blue which is surprising because her music was a big part of my teenage fashion and music styling :) I'm always so happy when I visit this event, since I get to see longtime favorite brands as well as some new ones each time to help keep things fresh.

Coincidentally I am starting with a touch of blue though, one of many choices for our Nut & Squirrel Patrizia gift. That is because we receive a HUD with 40 textures which are a mix of solids and patterns, then a second Color HUD lets us tint the background in our choice of 40 hues. I gave the one on the right above a peachy tint, and can switch it back to original by choosing the white color on that HUD. This flirty dress comes in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies. 

This fantastic outfit is the Tami Fuzzy Sweater Set Pink gift from Allure Couture. Its sweater, skirt, panties, and boots + socks are all provided in Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, and is leaning purple in my lighting. Since pink and purple are both my favorite colors, I am thrilled either way :) There is something so playful about the combo of a miniskirt and socks that go all the way up to mid-thigh, like we're showing just enough skin to turn heads but still appropriate for most audiences.

Time to change tops, which worked out really well since the Uni-qu3 ::*Jacquelin Top*::8 gift is in the same color family. It fits Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. As for details, it's loaded with them - tiny spikes around the high neckline, pink patterned inset, sexy crop length, and the rear view was a surprise when I turned and saw that most of the back is bare :) That lighter pink fabric makes a small appearance there too.

I might be channeling Madonna's Erotica era here instead of True Blue, LOL, as that was the timeframe of her Sex book ;) This revealing treat is our [Myzah] BlueEvent Gift - Fishnet Dress and Thong, pretty much living up to the name in flirty fashion. The sheer dress is dotted with small hearts, and both dress and solid black panties are included in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. Please don't ask me to lower my arms just yet though, or it'll be a peep show!

Intriguingly, the @rOrO Layla Jacket Pink & Teal gift has been designed to be a little looser fitting so that it can be layered over other clothing (like this dress). Isn't it such a captivating color combo? The animal print just might make you want to purr ;) There are Erika, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Star mesh body sizes included, as well as an alpha layer that came in handy for my arms. Please note - the contents are No Copy so you will need to manually unpack (rez out at home or a sandbox, right click and open) to get all the goodies inside. We cannot copy items into our inventory without the permission to copy them, and that is technically what unpacking does, so it's a common SL issue since unpacking HUDs are so popular yet not everything they hold always has the right settings to be copied. No shade, no complaints, just want to ensure that you don't miss out :) Nobody deserves to open a folder and find just a landmark inside when they're expecting something this special in addition.

I seem to be having an anxious kind of weekend, which is not entirely unusual but not pleasant either. Dinner with my parents was nice, and my dad is doing pretty well after the procedure other than one day of tiredness and a bit of a sore throat from the intubation for anesthesia. Neither of those are unexpected or anything concerning, and his doctors are all top notch so that is a relief. Tomorrow morning is the farmers market, and that seems to be causing me to feel a little nervous since I was out of the habit of going for a while there. Also there's a snowstorm headed my way Sunday, so I am keeping a wary eye on the weather forecasts. That is the day of my next therapy session, lol, so I'm afraid I am going to babble about all of this ;) Oh fun, Material Girl just started playing, so I am surrounded by Madonna tonight apparently! Blue SL (Da Ba Dee)

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we get to visit the BLUE SL Event, which always has such great offers (50L bargains!) and some generous group gifts as well. Their group is free to join, and if you hang out for a while with the group tag active as I did, you might automatically win a special gift too :) The current round is open until the 8th of January, so we've got just over a week to pick up demos and enjoy our shopping while claiming some really thoughtful gifts. A few of them are set up that you'll need to pay $1L but it will be immediately refunded while your gift is delivered, so that way there is a record and it can be delivered in the future if needed. As for my title, I got into the habit of using blue-themed song titles for posts about this event, and it became a bit of a guilty pleasure :)

My day got off to a chaotic start, and never really calmed down...I was supposed to go out at 3, but the housemate decided to go out and wasn't home until after 4. That means I didn't go out until rush hour, which of course is just fantastic for anxiety :P  The entire trip, to the store and back, was a litany of how these things never happen when I'm not in the car and it's my karma causing traffic and poor drivers all around. If you just raised an eyebrow, welcome to my world, LOL. Needless to say, I was in a tizzy when I got home, and didn't find everything that I wanted but at least a couple nice items. Happy Anniversary Sense Event

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'll be sharing some treats from the Sense Event and their 8th anniversary round. That does usually mean that the designers will offer gifts for the event's group, and these are in pretty black bags. Just join the free group if you aren't already a member, and have fun exploring the shopping area while clicking those goodies :) I want to wish the Sense Event a very happy anniversary and continued success in the future.

First up, we have a flirty retro treat called Melody Arielle// FATPACK. I feel like this style reminds me of either Marilyn Monroe or Sophia Loren, both iconic beauties just like our gift :) We receive Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, along with a HUD that offers 20 solid colors and 20 patterns. Most of the patterns are floral prints, but if you try them all you can find some others if flowers aren't your vibe.

::ALTER:: Tokio Mini Dress @Gold is a gift suitable for a goddess, which I've decided based on the shimmering satin and the toga-like wrap and single shoulder style. There is sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, all in this sunny yellow gold hue that now has me thinking of New Year's Eve. 

Next we take a peek at the gorgeous B! Fashion - Green Sequins Mini Dress, a gift that I did show you in red as a gift from another event recently so I'm going to suggest you click the tag for the store at the very bottom if you want that one too :) This dress fits Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, and appears a very deep green that looks more sparkly when you add the Shine Enhancer that is also provided. It's a very subtle light that makes those sequins more noticeable, and I am wearing it here so you can tell it's not like the facelights of a decade ago that could guide planes to land on SL runways ;) 

The gift from ~Rany~ consists of 3 colors of their sexy Mrs Claus Dress, each packed individually with sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'm wearing the red on the left, and the baby girl on the right, so I wonder if you can guess the other version not shown? Actually a few colors might make sense, so I'll tell you that it is green :) Our choker, top, sleeves, and skirt are all linked to wear as one simple piece, trimmed in soft white fur.

For my final look of the evening, I'm enjoying our gift from Allure Couture called Jessica Club Dress Set Gold. This is another fine choice for the holidays in burnished gold, and we receive the dress, C-string, and heels all in sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The sequins on the dress and the bows on the back of the shoes have a disco ball feeling because of the shape, which is another good reason to wear it this weekend or one of the holidays.

Oh my goodness, how is it almost Christmas already? I know, I know...we've been counting down by gathering all those Advent treats, yet some part of my brain is refusing to believe it's so soon. I have to cancel my outing for tomorrow because of repairs being done and the need to be home for it, which is not a big deal but I do want to keep my momentum in getting out of the house often :) That will be easier once the holiday traffic settles down. I had a great time playing Hello Kitty and chatting with my friend, and we're already planning our Animal Crossing sessions together too when their new content is out in a few weeks. We're casual cozy gamers at heart, and we get to talk about things like new restaurants in each area and what shows we're watching. Blue SL Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post comes from the Blue SL Event, which frequently involves group gifts each round but this is their 2nd anniversary so it is even more special. There are so many terrific designers, and I appreciate their generosity with the $50L exclusives they offer as well as these thoughtful gifts. The Blue SL group is free to join, and the gifts are either free or very low cost (I saw one for $5L and am sharing one for a single linden dollar). I usually do song titles with 'blue' in the title for my post titles for this event, but decided to focus on the anniversary part instead here :) Perhaps next round I'll be back with another deep dive into colorful musical titles.

My first look is the cozy EC Anastasia Red v2 gift from Emerald Couture. Its hooded coat with lots of fur trim is provided in 5 fitmesh standard sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. The high heeled boots are unrigged and have the same lush fur as the coat, and to make things quicker I just used my body's HUD to hide my feet :) The red makes me feel festive, but also a touch of Red Riding Hood, so maybe I'm ready to star in a fairy tale.

The Nut & Squirrel Gabriella group gift is a lovely option for somewhere fancy this weekend. There is something so elegant about a mermaid style gown, and this one has a flirty bare back and deep V neckline, so we get to show off lots of skin while we're feeling formal :) There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies included, along with a HUD that lets us choose from 6 colors. If I love them all, does that mean I have to wear it 6 times in a row? Maybe it just means I can change colors partway through an evening like a fancy chameleon ;)

Because of the bare shoulders, this dress made me decide to share the NuNa LuNa gift with it, called ~NL~ Tattoo Upper - T15. There are 50% and 100% opacity versions of these rosy sleeve tattoos, as BOM layers and an applier for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink bodies. I genuinely couldn't decide which would photograph better, so I figured I might as well share both opacities for you to see.

Next I changed into the Allure Couture - Hallie Coat Set Black gift, which is both flirty and timely. The coat and skirt are linked as one piece, so that and the panties and even our boots are included in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. We get to feel warm and cozy while baring just a flash of thigh, and of course the cleavage from the plunging neckline. The buckle on the belt is giving Santa vibes, but in a reverse color scheme. Santa could never look this hot in those boots or the skirt though ;) 

I switched bodies for my final look tonight, from Maitreya to Lara X, so I could share the gorgeous Uni-qu3::*MorningStar* night dress:*:::earth. Like several of these gifts, it was set to pay $1L, but this one did not refund so I believe it is intended to be a dollarbie, and as you can see it is so worth it! Our gown has an amazing full skirt whose pattern made me think 'disco ball', and the top is cut very cleverly to hide the essentials but reveal considerable midriff. There are sizes for Lara X, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included in this sweet treat.

I've been noticing a pattern that if I wake up partway through my usual sleep cycle and then struggle to fall back to sleep, during the second chunk I have more intense and sometimes frightening dreams. If I doze off again quickly, it doesn't seem to have the same results. You can probably guess that since I'm mentioning it now, it did in fact happen to me earlier. The bad dream is lingering a little, despite my having had a nice time at my parents' for dinner and generally enjoying my evening. It's like it crept back into my conscious mind, and I want to shoo it away like a mosquito :P  We've got the timing settled for next Saturday's holiday meal, and all attendees have been notified (something I thought my mom did ages ago, whoops) with a potential plan for a small Thursday meal with just my parents. I don't want her to go to any extra trouble so I almost vetoed that one, but I will probably take next Thursday off from blogging to allow for potentially going there and/or helping her out in preparation for Saturday. Tomorrow I'm headed to the farmers market where there will be 3 food trucks, but I'm only interested in one of them.
