Happy Anniversary Reborn

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to the eBody Reborn Event, which is celebrating its 3rd anniversary right now with special  promo gifts from $0L - $50L. Don't let the name fool you, the gifts are not all exclusively for the Reborn bodies, in fact I am wearing my Legacy body tonight and everything I am sharing works perfectly for it :) There are multiple sizes included in most of the gifts, which are all inside boxes with the event logo on them that reminded me of slender milk cartons in shape. My first look is the REED - MICHU GIFT, a steamy little halter style mini dress with tiny holes all over. There are sizes for Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included of this beauty. I'm loving the color and pattern, reminding me of swirling waves in the ocean :) The side cutouts meet in the back to reveal another sliver of skin, very flirtatious.

Another wonderful free gift I found is the .::Supernatural::. Viola Dress Fatpack. The dress comes in Classic, Curvy, eBody, Erika, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizing, with a fantastic HUD that has 33 texture buttons and 2 "options" buttons beneath. Each of the 33 buttons has option 1 and option 2, so there are 66 total choices, and you can click to change the trim separately so there is so much versatility here. I did notice a few Christmas patterns in addition to other potential holidays, so this beautiful dress can be worn any time of year.

There were so many wonderful tops among the gifts that I wriggled into my favorite Delizio jeans (marketplace freebie) and then the Galagher - Cassie Shirt Edition 2 gift :) I couldn't possibly resist a shirt with a cool pup in shades on the front, and the background pattern intrigued me too with its gloves, mittens, and cups of hot cocoa. The shirt fits Legacy, Perky, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies.

Next I changed into the charming Bipolar - Demi Top - White gift. I styled it fairly casually here, but I've also got big plans for it and a long full skirt (think hippie/boho) to be determined in the near future :) The intricate straps and bare shoulders captivated me, and I certainly couldn't resist the V hemline in the front. The soft fluttery sheer panels almost made me think of lingerie, so if you have panties that would match (similar color or your favorite neutral) you might want to pair it with that. There was not much noteworthy about my day, so I have been thinking about plans for tomorrow both RL and SL. Halloween is quiet here in RL, as the local kids do "trunk or treat" at schools or churches instead of visiting individual houses. I'll most likely be doing a small outing, as my housemate spotted a new-to-us restaurant on the map while we tried to figure out plans earlier. It's less than 10 minutes away, so we are about to find out if their food is any good :) Very standard fare for my area, things like pizza and sandwiches and pasta and appetizers, and I will be trying their calzone. More Cosmo Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're still at Cosmopolitan for their 12th anniversary celebration, at least the first half of their April rounds :) One thing I found intriguing about tonight's batch is that it is mostly tops, so if you have a favorite skirt or pair of jeans (etc.) that you need just the right tank top, blouse, or similar to wear above it, please be sure to click all the gift crates at Cosmo! You'll need their free group tag active, and then you get to enjoy dozens of thoughtful gifts as Cosmopolitan celebrates a dozen years of success. I wish them a dozen more and then some!

We start out with the Faida - Fanny noir top gift. This beauty is a spaghetti strap tank top with lots of lace, in sizes for Hulixa, Khara, Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The neutral black makes it ideal to wear with just about anything, and I've reached for my oft-worn Delizio jeans in blue. This marketplace fatpack gift has several colors in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega, and you're about to see them in several of my photos tonight :)

Another terrific gift I couldn't wait to share is the FashionNatic - Bee Top GIFT seen here. This cropped plaid blouse is sleeveless and mostly open in the front, with a playful chain draped around beneath it so it's got a very sexy, edgy vibe. It fits Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. Part of me really wants to wear it with a studded leather miniskirt next :)

I think adorsy knew some of us would be craving floral patterns for spring, so they selected this gorgeous pink rose print for their Cosmopolitan Top Gift 2024. Then they trimmed it with black lace for fun contrast, and offered it to us in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite bodies. The round opening where it's gathered on the side is a great detail too, and the low neckline really shows off cleavage!

I had a busy day which included a trip to the grocery store for the first time in ages, so that was important even if a bit overwhelming. Clearly I got through it somehow, since I'm here and able to type ;) that doesn't mean it was fun or easy, and my weekend is going to generally suck because the housemate is having the dreaded houseguest here for a very long weekend (until Tuesday). Housepest is staying to see the eclipse on Monday since it's a better view in this part of the country than where he lives, and he doesn't drive at night so that's why the stay is extended until the following morning. At least I have dinner at my parents' tomorrow to look forward to, then hiding in this room until therapy Sunday. I'll probably watch the eclipse with them, but I'm not as excited as they are, and housemate bought 3 pairs of the special glasses so I am expected to join in. Group Gifts Galore

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am excited to share some more group gifts for the FaMESHed 9th anniversary round. As I mentioned in my previous post, the group is free to join and most of the participating designers are offering a gift in a white box wrapped with a teal ribbon and bow. There is an impressive variety among the gifts, while I am focusing on the female fashions and a touch of accessories you can also find goodies for the guys and home decor. I also have a limited time offer for you from Entice, also a free group gift for Cinco de Mayo. This trio of t-shirts is fantastic for this time of year, so hurry on over!

My first look starts with the Valentina E. Martina Dress Dove gift, which is designed to fit the Maitreya mesh body. It is a column style with flattering seams, and the pale grey color has a silvery quality. I added a necklace from the ..::Supernatural::.. gift called Betina Necklace Fatpack, consisting of 4 metal combinations (silver/silver, silver/gold, gold/silver, gold/gold) and two gem HUDs with 34 lovely choices each. I gave a closer view on the right of the round cut gem that dangles from the chain attached to our heart closure, so pretty!

Purple is one of my favorite colors, so it was fun to pair two different shades in creating this look. The top is our gift from Ramen called ::RMN:: Harona Mini Top Purple -Lara- . It fits the Maitreya Lara mesh body and the style wraps to accentuate the cleavage just right. My pants are the Little Fox - Cassie - Knitted pants // plum gift, which look like an amazingly cozy pair of low rise leggings. They come in sizes for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. 

Next I changed into the Charlotte Pink & Blue gift from Luas. The pink dress and blue belt (with straps that look like suspenders lowered to hang freely) are each provided in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite sizing. Since they are separate pieces, you can easily wear the dress without the belt if you prefer. I really like the way the skirt is gathered, and the peekaboo slit in the upper chest area for a flash of cleavage.

If you are still in the mood for pink, but had something even more flirtatious in mind, I suggest claiming the (*<*) 1313 Elena Set - Special Edition Gift from 1313 Mockingbird Lane. It was a decent day here, and the small birthday dinner earlier was very nice. The weather was warm and humid, so my naturally wavy hair is all sorts of freaky and frizzy, LOL, reminding me that I really need to find a hair product that works without costing an obscene amount. My stylist once recommended something that was over $50 for about 2 ounces, yikes! She normally doesn't push their products but I asked for a suggestion, which I rather regretted. Saturday Wash Cart and WOH2 Hunt

Hiya everyone! I hope your weekend is off to a great start, and maybe I can add to the fun by showing you more good reasons to go shopping or gridwide hunting. The Wash Cart Sale is a longtime favorite of mine, and this round is special because everything is $10L and there are items you can transfer to your SL loved ones as gifts. I can't imagine easier holiday shopping, or better savings. Enchantment Hunting with Hansel and Gretel

Hiya everyone! The newest round of the Enchantment event just started on the 12th, with a theme of Hansel and Gretel, and along with it there is a fun hunt that will send you looking for an open book with foliage that says Enchantment on it in several participating main stores. You'll need to pick up a free HUD at the event first, and allow it to teleport you, then each button you click (tiny store logos) will whisk you away to one of the locations you need to search. It will also put a hint in your local chat, always handy for finding things. The HUD was a bit glitchy, circling the wrong stores in green for me a few times (the indication that you found that store's prize already) or a couple times teleporting me to a completely different store, but I believe I wound up visiting all the right locations in the long run. Tonight I will be sharing an assortment of the generous prizes to be found. 

In my first look I am enjoying some stunning lingerie from Chocolate Atelier, their Pier in Dots Green. System layers are provided along with appliers for Belleza, Lolas, Maitreya, Omega, Slink Physique, and TMP. The texturing is delicately beautiful, in addition to being quite sexy. My hair is another hunt prize, this time from Tukinowaguma and called *TKW* Hansel Hunt. You will find a rigged and an unrigged version inside your prize, and as you can see it has a bright green bow headband attached and is a very deep ombre.

We have some more alluring lingerie to see, this beautiful set is from Glitzz and is called Becky in Pink. As you can see, I did add a couple of white dots to hide my nipply bits, hehe, as this set is artfully crafted from mostly lace in a gorgeous color. I accessorized with the TABOU Old Collar female version, and their prize does include the male version as well. I was struck by the softly shaded cracks in the metal, you can tell this piece has been well worn and much loved.

One last look of the evening, I am showing the prize from Love which is the gorgeous Honeysuckle hair Fat Pack with HUDs for brunettes, candies, gingers, greyscale, mystics, oddities, ombres, pastels, and roots & streaks. Our prize from Supernatural is a trio of Juno Leggings in system layers along with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink Body, Slink Feet, and TMP. As you can see, they are rather like stockings and they are sheer enough in the panties area that I again added a few white dots to hide more bits that may not be suitable for all audiences. The designs on the mid thigh include crosses, cats, and paws, but they are simply labeled by numbers, 1 or 2 or 3. Not a part of the hunt but certainly a part of my outfit here is a Marketplace gift from Baby Monkey called Baby Tees Basics. It includes system layers and HUDs for Slink, Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega so you can use with your classic avatar or most of your favorite mesh bodies. Baby Monkey may be best known for their fabulous shoes, but I am very pleased that Pixie also creates a nice variety of clothing.

They are a brand new release from Inkheart called Eternal Eyes in Malice, and they are the current SLF&O group gift. Trick or Treat Lane

Hiya everyone! This morning I visited the Trick or Treat Lane event, and I couldn't resist sharing some of the gifts they had out for all visitors. There is no group needed or anything, just visit each designer and their gift is right out front in a bag on a small table for $0L. You can also find discounted items (31%) and exclusives for the event, so stop by and enjoy the shopping while picking up some fun treats.

This first gift is a playful dress with its knotted top and fun spiders dotting the skirt, even has a zipper in the back as a great detail. It comes in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. 

For something more intimate, grab the gift at Supernatural to find this sexy number named Selene. It includes the bra and panties in system layers and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and TMP. As an intriguing bonus, those curled horns are included too, and I think they would go with other outfits just as well.

For this look I am enjoying the Deadly Latex Corset Top from Sn@tch, and this gift contains system layers as well as an Omega HUD for all 5 colors of this gloved and zippered top. The necklace is another Trick or Treat Lane gift, this time from HollyWeird. Their treat is called Creeper Spider Necklace, and as you can see from the inset the spider is intricately detailed. A couple more gifts to see here, my tank top is from LiViD and is their Sugar Skull Tank in standard mesh sizes. I really enjoyed the design and the wash of colors. My awesome sunglasses are the gift from Cute Poison called Batty Glasses, and these include a HUD with 3 star colors and 6 lens colors, some of which you can see in the inset. 

You may have noticed my nails in a few of the photos above, well they are our Trick or Treat Lane gift from Koffin Nails called Trick or Treat. This generously includes HUDs for Maitreya, Slink, and Omega, and there are 3 colors on each. I love the details of the candies silhouetted on the lighter colors, and the black tips.

One last look of the night, I had a lot of fun exploring the dozen poses in this Dark Side Bench from Deadpool. (Xan will love the store name!) The handsome skeleton is part of the bench, he was fun to lean against but I'm afraid he's a bit skinny for my taste. Seems I prefer a man with some meat on his bones...yep it's a horrible play on words but my new skeleton buddy seems to be enjoying it ;)

I am having a wild evening with the Pokemon Go game, yes I'm one of the few still playing LOL, but they're having a Halloween event and the candies are doubled and extra pokemon are spawning right here for me. Here is a dead end street in the middle of almost nowhere, so I'm lucky to have a spawn location I can reach when I don't really have any pokestops in walking distance.

Happy Anniversary Enchantment

Hiya everyone! This morning I made a very enjoyable visit to the Enchantment event, whose current round is called The Yellow Brick Road and is also their anniversary round. This means lots of presents for all visitors, no group needed, just click all the pretty tiered cakes you can find. If you are a Wizard of Oz fan, you will appreciate the beauty of the build and the offerings for sale that match the theme so creatively. Even if you aren't a fan though, never fear as not all of the sales items or gifts are themed. There is a wonderful assortment here, and it is a true visual treat with the added bonus of free gifts to claim. Be sure to visit before August 30th when it will all disappear.

Aleutia has a beautiful gift out for us, their Sunset Gala gown in Amethyst. This lovely dress comes in what I call the lucky 13 of sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. The gorgeous ring I am wearing is our gift from Air, their Lost Treasure Ring with its intricate gold filigree and large black stone.

This stunning Evanora Gown is called Oz the Great and Powerful, and when you open this dazzling gift you will find the dress in the lucky 13 of sizes: 5 standard mesh, 5 fitted, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. It even includes the matching necklace and shoes for Slink high.

Perhaps you are looking for something more provocative, then be sure to check the anniversary cake from Supernatural. It contains Doris in Black in several appliers (no system layers this time) for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and TMP. The delicate lace and tiny bows are delightful touches. My necklace is a sweet treat from Lassitude & Ennui called There's No Place Like Home Necklace. The bright yellow gold holds a dainty rainbow hued reminder of something truly important, and as a necklace it does sit close to the heart.

Speaking of necklaces, I was just as excited to open the gift from Snowpaws and find these eye-catching If I Only Had a Heart Mixed Metal Necklaces inside. There are two versions included, and these will look great with all your favorite wardrobe pieces from mild to wild.

One last peek for the night, this is our Entice gift, the Yellow Brick Road Charm Bracelet. Several main characters are represented here, you can see the Cowardly Lion and Scarecrow etched in silver and even the ruby slippers to the left. I have always liked charm bracelets and items like this make me wish I still had one in RL :) Maybe I will have to fix that eventually, but for now I appreciate the SL ones I have even more.

You can tell when I have recently splurged on some $L for myself, LOL, as the first thing I tend to do is treat myself to new hairstyles. Yesterday and today I have been enjoying two of Truth Hair's newest releases, which tend to be one of my favorite indulgences. Hiya everyone! I am briefly interrupting my Loving Kind hunt coverage for another hunt that is ending in just a few days, a very different kind of hunt called the XOXO Hunt. Instead of searching for a hunt object, this time you will go >here< to get a HUD and then go to each store (links via HUD) and approach their hunt easel (shown on their site) and type XOXO in local chat. So you're kissing a sign, and the sign gets to critique your performance ;) If the sign thinks you're a good kisser, it'll give you a gift...if not, you have to practice kissing for 24 hours and come back to try again. If you've seen people running around typing "xoxo" randomly in chat and then TPing away, this is most likely the reason. Would you like to see a few of the many wonderful prizes?

First up, we have a stunning dress from Junbug named Miss Evelyn, with some delightful details. The corset styling and lacing in the back blew me away, plus that cute ribbon tie is a fun touch. There are standard sizes included, I'm wearing the Small, and felt the need to mention that there is also a Small Curvy size included which is a bonus surprise since this traditional small is rather curvy and busty to me :)

I enjoyed this next dress and felt it was a lovely backdrop for an accessory from the hunt. The dress is the Milena Dress by Bodhi, provided in a whole host of sizes including Belleza FREYA, Belleza ISIS, Belleza VENUS, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP. As for the necklace, well the gift from OXIDE is not just one necklace but a trio, which include a collar and two necklaces called Valentia. I am wearing the Short version here, the long is the same basic style with the same beautiful details but deeper down the neckline.

You can see the collar from the OXIDE necklaces gift here on the left, and so much more! The bodysuit I am wearing is our prize from Supernatural, which includes system layers plus appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and TMP. I love the lace at the top, and the 2 delicate bows at the leg openings. On the right, you'll notice I removed the collar and am showing an adorable cropped sweater, well that is our gift from Sorbet, their Coeur Cotele in Fraise. I love the cutout heart, and I admit this was a random case of needing to show off a top without having a pair of pants on hand from the hunt ;) But honestly I like the contrast of how the collar picks up the various lighter pink shades, while the red sweater highlights the deeper reds of the flowers. 

Nails make me happy, so this picture clearly brings me plenty of joy :) On the top we have an adorable set of nails from Dark Passions, their Koffin Nails division, a fatpack called Tart Heart with 14 fun designs to choose from: 6 conversation hearts on your choice of pink or purple with tiny dots, or the pink or purple with the dots but no heart. Each design is also in either matte or gloss. The fatpack includes HUDs for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink nails and Slink toes. On the bottom of my photo, you can see the prize from Bella Elephante (not to be confused with their Elephante Poses who have a separate gift in this hunt). This is their Gem of my Heart nails, 10 colors with a faceted look with a heart in the center of each nail. You will receive Maitreya and Slink HUDs in this terrific prize.
