Hiya everyone! In addition to the wonderful Advent calendars I have been visiting for the past few days, there are some terrific gridwide hunts that have just started this week and I have been enjoying (with Xan's help as always) The Advent Chase Hunt. This is a free gridwide hunt with about 50 stops, and the hunt objects are candles which are color-coded to tell you if the prize is Male, Female, or Unisex which could include one for each or something neutral like home decor. A few locations are marketplace stores, so there are designers involved who normally do not get a chance to participate in gridwide hunts which makes it even more fun.
This beautiful dress is from Waffles Babygirl and Gacha Finds, called *WM* Serial Christmas Dress. It is provided in standard mesh sizes, and with a few adjustments from my Maitreya Lara HUD I was very pleased with the fit. The colors are so striking, and I would certainly wear this year-round, not just for Christmas.
For another ravishing red holiday look, head over to Sweet Dreams and find their candle to claim this Xmas Dress gift hiding inside. The gold designs on the front are just lovely, and the dress comes in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. I love the velvety texture and the drape in the back.
Freya's Fashions has this alluring Noella outfit in Red as their hunt prize, and it is perfect for classic avatars as well as mesh bodies. The top and bottom are in system layers and an applier HUD for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Omega, and the bows for each arm are an adorable touch. The matching hat and the flexi skirt each have built in resize scripts, so you can adjust however you wish. This would be great for a holiday party, or just to celebrate the season in style.
I did pick up plenty of Advent calendar gifts this morning too, one of my favorites being the Prism Designs Holiday Dangle Earrings by Jezzixa. This set includes green and red beaded pairs in silver or gold each, so 4 total pairs. The group is free to join, and you will need to wear your tag when clicking the calendar. You can also get a better look at my baby blues, today's eyes from the Inkheart group Advent calendar (free to join). As with all of their lovely eyes, these Juno Eyes in Truth come in 4 sizes of system or mesh, these are the Medium. So striking, and I have been a fan of their eyes for quite some time before joining their blogging team.
One last look of the day, this is a closer peek at the Advent gift for today from Hello Dave, whose free group tag is needed to click their calendar and claim your prize. December 4th HUD is for Slink and Omega, and features 5 designs of a snowy white background with dainty strands of Christmas lights draped across each nail. This is one of those fun looks because it is subtle enough to be worn with something extremely dressy, yet clearly shows a nail nod to the holidays.
Yesterday was a wonderful day here, tiring but just so enjoyable. The events I attended were each filled with great people and delicious food, and the second one was outdoors with Santa photo ops for humans and dogs ♥. If you are lucky enough to have a precious furball in your life, please give them a snuggle for me, as I have never had the privilege (feathered and scaly but not furry) but really adore them. It made my day to get to pet a 10 week old golden retriever puppy and then a 3 month old German shepherd pup who was a pure black beauty. Everyone was just gawking at how cute the puppies were, and kept approaching the owners to talk about them. The kids I saw interact with them were awesome, just gently hugging and petting them so carefully. A few adult dogs were dressed in their holiday finest for their Santa pictures, and it made my heart smile.

Hiya everyone! It's hard to believe we are at the halfway point of the week already, but I am excited to show you some more hunt prizes from the Autism Awareness Hunt 2016 organized by Nail It Good!. The theme is Light It Up Blue, and you're looking for a blue light bulb with a puzzle piece on it. The prizes are free, and as you saw last night here they are definitely worth seeking out.
Let's start off tonight with a very popular dress style, this version from MadCatCreations simply called Slim Strap Dress. You know I greatly appreciate it when a dress (or any article of clothing in SL) comes with a HUD to allow color changes, and this cutie includes a HUD with 6 soft springy color options. The dress comes in many sizes including 5 fitmesh, 6 busty, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink.
This intriguing dress is our prize from Waffles' Babygirl and Gacha, their Spring Deep Cut Dress and Sandals in Swedish Blue. From time to time I do have strange glitches with alpha layers, well this one was halfway down one leg and up near my throat, just really bizarre. The good news is that it was fine without the alpha, your experience may vary and the alpha may suit you just fine to begin with. The shoes come in rigged and Slink flat feet versions, so everyone can enjoy them.
For a playful and casual outfit, head over to Kelli Kreations and find their light bulb to claim this Awe Autism Outfit. I'm showing you the system layers, but it does include Omega appliers as well. I'm still giggling at the rainbow puzzle patterned patch area on the front and back, it reminded me of a censor bar gone wild :)
My last look of the night is our daring gift from Grumble, their Fitmesh Strapless Zipper Mini Dress in Blue. Along with the 5 standard sizes, this prize includes Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions to suit many mesh bodies. The zipper, mostly wide open, is a great touch.
