Time to head out on the hunt trail, which leads through the Sweet Peach store. Here you will find their hot air balloon to contain this flirty ~SP~ Bikini Set, especially for the ATG hunt. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am exploring the I Feel Pretty Hunt, which is a $1L gridwide hunt that will have you looking for makeup (a brush and a lipstick with its cap off but part of the pile) to claim some fantastic prizes. The locations and hints are on the website, while some stores have a hint giver at their sign too, and you can purchase the prize for $25L if you don't enjoy hunting or can't find one but really want it. I did locate all the ones I am showing you though, for $1L, so they are definitely out there to find :) At one of my stops, I realized I could share a new MGSN Group gift with all of you, so with your group tag (free to join) that goodie is completely free. That means this post involves 4 visits, 5 outfits, and just $4L total, a bargain in my book for sure.
My first look of the night is from ATLANTIS DESIGN called Seahorse, just $1L will help you feel pretty and comfortable. The tank top and patterned bottoms each come in sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Curvy. The glittery trim on the tank is very eye-catching, as is the design on the pants with those sweet little seahorses swimming around.
Next we visit Sparrow by Design, who are offering a mens' prize as well as the womens' prize seen here. This is their Pretty Margo Dress, provided in sizes for Altamura, Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP, with an asymmetric hemline and cutout side above a sassy hip tie. The perfectly coordinated Pretty Feet Shoes are in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. The style suits the dress really nicely for a winning combination. The male prize is a sweater and shirt combo in tan, a really handsome neutral color that will look great on your favorite male avatars.
I am a fan of HUDs because they help provide versatility, and this prize from Sweet Peach called SP~Florina Dress is a delightful example. The dress itself is included in a bevy of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The HUD offers 6 textures for the main dress, and a grid of boxes with dozens of colors to tint the petals (the flower adorning where the right strap meets the bodice) and belt, each separately so you can really mix and match. I was in a floral mood today, but there are other textures too so this is a really nice gift for just one linden.
Sweet E's is our final stop, and first we take a look at their hunt prize called Silver Floral Breanna Dress. It comes in standard mesh sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes. I love the waist of this style, it makes me think 1920's but not quite flapper style, more like an evening wear gown I suppose. The colors are elegant too, subtle yet fascinating.
This charming frock is the Sweet E's Pink and White Lace Ruffle Bottom Tank, a group gift for the MGSN group, short for Maitreya Gifts, Sales and News. It is free to join and free to claim this gift, which can be worn as a short dress or long tunic top if you wish to layer it over something. The mauve and maroon against the creamy lace are beautiful, and this can look casual over jeans or a bit more dressy alone or over tights. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some prizes to share from the WoW Skins Christmas Cart Sale and Hunt, and the carts are very convenient to the landing point of the sim. There are exclusive offers for $50L to $100L, and almost every cart has a free prize hidden inside an iridescent blue snowflake. This cart sale lasts until the 20th of December, and while you're there please continue up to WoW Skins who are offering a free Advent calendar outside with no group needed. So far the prizes have been mainly system skins, so no mesh head/body needed to enjoy them.
First we have the prize from Alias, their Penguin PJ's in Black. This free gift consists of the single mesh piece in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes (5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and sandals for Slink flat feet, with a sweet reindeer plush that has a built in hold pose. I love that even he has the same penguin fabric as the pajama pants and the straps of the sandals, and definitely want to snuggle with him in RL as well as SL :)
Sweet Peach Designs has this simply elegant one piece outfit in their snowflake, the SP "PAIGE" with knit sweater and leathery pants. It comes in that same lucky 13 of mesh sizes, so a nice range to fit most of us. I love casual outfits for gridwide hunting, and this can be jazzed up a bit with some jewelry and maybe a pair of brightly colored shoes if you crave a pop of color.
I am feeling flirty here in my new dress from S&B called Kylie Red. Find their flake and you can claim this too, with system layers as well as appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink. The skirt panels come in standard mesh sizes and Slink standard sizes, which I believe is because they need to be a bit shorter (or is it longer?) to line up better with the Slink layers. This is another terrific look that you can accessorize to add your own special touch and make it your own.
Our prize from EDELFABRIK is their TwenStar 21-GSPOT outfit, and as you can see there are a lot of components to make up this great look. The bikini top and thong each come in standard mesh sizes plus Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, while the short sweater and pants are each included in the same mesh sizes. The handwarmers are in standard, Slink, and Maitreya sizes, the belly piercings (with attached chain looped around the waist) are provided in regular, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique versions. The necklace of dice is in regular and Maitreya sizes, and even our sneakers are included in regular, Maitreya, and Slink flat feet versions. On the left I removed the pants (legs connected to short shorts by slender garters) and the cropped sweater to show you the bikini and belly piercing on their own. I giggled when I realized that the right leg says "Define Bad" down the side, as that expression does crop up this time of year.
Our nails get some love too, when you find the prize at the Princess Rhodes Designs cart you can claim 2 free gifts. On the left side of the photo (really my right hand, but let's not get confusing, LOL) is their Merry Christmas nails, with a total of 6 designs on a HUD that works for Slink, Omega, and Maitreya. On the right side, you can see a sampling of their Frosty Glitter nails, 18 shimmery shades ranging from pastels to deep hues, for Slink or Maitreya or Omega compatible hands/feet. As a side note, you can see the necklace from the last photo closer, and see that they are indeed dice strung together for a lucky look.
Today was certainly busy, and the next few days will be as well...I had an appointment which is why I am blogging at night instead of morning with Advent goodies, and will do the same for Saturday I believe. I also had several errands to take care of, so my day was productive but tiring. Tomorrow's post should be a return to Peace On Earth hunt prizes, and maybe a surprise or two. Hiya everyone! Today I am pleased to share some more Advent gifts from various stores, some needing no group at all and others needing a free group tag. This morning's post will also feature a couple of prizes from the Peace On Earth 10 Hunt, which I look forward to all year long. As I've mentioned in my past few posts, there are nearly 300 participating stores and you will be looking for a globe at each. The hints are on the website as well as being found in sample globes used as hint givers on most of the signs in each store. Just give the globes you find a click, no group necessary, and you will be given a folder with the prize and next landmark inside. Easy peasy, right? There are prizes for men, women, and children, plus accessories, decor, textures, and much more. As I tend to focus on fashion, that is what you will mainly be seeing here throughout the month. Don't worry, I will be interspersing other hunts soon to shake things up :)
If I had to describe this Advent gift from Moonstar in 3 words, I would pick cute, casual, and seasonal. It is called Deer Sweater Set, and includes system layers plus appliers for Lola, Maitreya, Slink, and Omega as well as a matching collar (not shown) with a resize script built in. It is such a great touch that the pockets of the jeans have the same sweet reindeer graphic as the sweater, mirrored onto each pocket. I just might wear this outfit for some more globe hunting tonight :)
Emerald Couture has 2 Advent calendars, mens and womens, for their group (free to join) and one for everyone, no group tag required, and today's gift from that last one is this EC Lucky Gold outfit. It consists of the dress in standard mesh sizes, along with the shoes for Slink High. The details are so fun, like that low slung belt and the unique style of the heels. The non-group Advent calendar is the shelves with boxes on them, and on the adjoining wall to the right are the boards for group members.
One more Advent gift this morning, please wear your free Entice group tag and head over to their Christmas tree, where you will find plenty of presents awaiting. Locate the one for the 5th of December, pay it $1L, and you will be instantly refunded the linden as well as given this Over The Rainbow Dress in Gray. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, and the gingham pattern is reminiscent of Dorothy from Wizard of Oz enough that I was humming the song that is referenced in the dress name.
Many of the Peace On Earth hunt prizes have a Christmas theme to them, and this gift from Sweet Peach is a playful example of that. It is called Amileigh Dress and comes in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP fits. There is also a handy HUD that offers 9 texture choices, two of which you can see here, each a cheeky holiday quip. There are different color variations for some of them, for example if you like the "Sweet But Twisted...Does That Make Me a Candy Cane?" on the left, you could choose it on a white background instead. I wore it earlier while Xan and I were hunting, and he chuckled when he first read it :) I do sometimes joke about being sweet but twisted, or some variation like mostly sweet but do not provoke me.
My final look this morning is a beautiful gown from the globe at MUNEREIA, which contains a gift for the ladies as well as the gents. This is their PEACEFULLY dress, in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, as well as standard fitmesh sizes. There is also a HUD enclosed with 5 colors to choose from, two of which you can see above, with lacy trim, delicate snowflakes, and a hip sash in those colors. This is an elegant choice for a night out, and a very thoughtful hunt prize.
Something I didn't mention about my weekend was that in addition to a friendly houseguest, I had some little furry intruders show up too...when you live near woods, sometimes the mice take shelter in your house when the weather gets colder. There are 3 humane (catch & release) traps set up with some peanut butter to get their attention, and then back to the woods they will go. I don't want to hurt them, but I don't want them chewing up important things either. Wish me luck in safely relocating them. Tonight I am taking another trip around the grid, courtesy of the Around The Grid 5 Hunt that is, with each participating store holding a $1L hidden balloon and a $25L version on the sign in case you prefer not to search for the concealed one. There are hints on their website and on the signs at each location, and I find it helpful to see the examples on each sign of the hunt object. The prizes are worth so much more than the single linden they cost, indeed even more than the $25L if you opt to purchase instead of hunt, so I was delighted to choose another handful of prizes to share with you tonight. I also indulged in the newest Truth hair release, and you are about to see just how versatile the new Lady hairstyle can be.
First I visited Cherry's Blossom and found their hot air balloon, containing this charming Taylor Dress ATG Hunt. It includes standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions, so you should be able to find your ideal fit. Those shiny apples almost look like hearts at first glance, and the simple belt is a lovely touch.
Get Frocked is offering a fun retro dress too as their hunt prize, simply called Around The Grid Gift, in versions for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and 5 standard fitmesh sizes. The slim dress style is very flattering and accentuates our curves beautifully. I also played a bit with the stylist HUD for my new hair, changing the bangs to another of the 6 (!) choices.
I also visited Brii Underground to find their generous gift, a full outfit called Liberata Urban Style Complet Outfit that includes the clothing and accessories seen here. Then I found myself happily visiting Ollies Follies again (I recently showed you their FabFree group gift) to track down the hidden $1L hot air balloon there, and I adore their prize for this hunt! It is called Dandy Daisy Skirt Set ATG, and there are two size sets included, one for classic bodies and the other for mesh bodies. The classic holds standard mesh sizes of the skirt, tee (left), and tank top (right) seen here, while the mesh body set has Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions for each piece. The front of the tank has the same woven texture of the back rather than a daisy to match the pockets of the skirt and the front of the tee, so you can decide how floral you are feeling at the moment.
The Harry Potter series holds a special place in my heart, so this prize from Sweet Peach definitely called to me as soon as I saw the preview photo on the hunt website. It is called "I Swear" Lacy Mini Dress, and comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP fits. Also provided is a HUD with 4 choices for the design color: white with white lace as seen on the left, white with black lace, blue with black lace (right), and red with black lace. Please note the little footprints above and below the banners with the words on them, another marauder's map reference that made me smile.
Hair note of the night: as I made note of a bit already, this is a new Truth Hair release named Lady with a delicious retro/rockabilly flavor. The stylist HUD is the most thorough I've seen yet, with so many options like 6 for the bangs including none at all, 3 different whisps (short and long by the ears, and the ones at the nape) and straight or up and curled for the ponytail ends. The headband can be turned on or off too, and there is a separate accessories HUD for the colors of the headband and the little hairband holding the ponytail itself. I wore my group tag when I picked it up at their mainstore so I even earned a bit more store credit :) It is a very versatile style and I am always in need of updos for showing you the backs of my outfits as well as the fronts.
Tonight's post is delayed because I was distracted by the Game of Thrones season finale, #sorrynotsorry LOL ;) Okay I do feel bad for running late, and I'd never post spoilers for anything out of respect for any readers who may want to watch but have not yet. All I will say is that some things about the episode made me very happy, others tugged at heartstrings, and it is going to be a long wait for the final season. Tonight I have some more hunt prizes to show you from The Loving Kind Hunt 2, a free gridwide hunt whose hunt objects are color-coded hearts to indicate which prizes are inside (red = female, blue = male, yellow = unisex or male and female in the same hidden heart). Their blog is helpful for providing hints and the landmarks to guide you from stop to stop, so you will need that open if you participate in the hunting which you can do for the entire month of February. The prizes are a generous mix of clothing, accessories, and plenty of home decor, many with a Valentine theme so do expect to find lots of hearts and the color red.

I am linking the whole shop in the credits rather than the specific prize to 'look' for in there, it is a hunt after all :) That is how the website presented it and I am following their lead. This gorgeous dress comes in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and there is even a diamond hearts emitter included but not shown. The terrific bracelets are the prizes you can find at Angel DELUXE who have a blue and a red heart hidden in their store, and in a touching nod to Game of Thrones (Daenerys and Khal Drogo's love story) the female prize is the Moon of my Life HER bracelet. The mens' version is My Sun and Stars HIS, and both bracelets contain resize scripts to allow you to adjust their mesh size very easily. I will always be moved by the words they used for each other, so meaningful.
Here I am feeling quite elegant in the prize from Xtasya, another Marketplace store who has a free gift awaiting those who visit. It is called Queen of Hearts Gown, and comes in plenty of fitted mesh sizes: standard, Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. The bright blue belt is attached, and highlights the heart on the bodice nicely. I decided to accessorize this look with the beautiful prize from The Muses, their Polynesia Jewelry which includes earrings and necklace each in gold and silver versions. The different metals also have different accent colors as you can see in the inset, equally striking so let your outfit guide your decision or simply what mood you may be in.
Sweet Peach has this lovely gown hiding in the heart in their store, the Linda Gown in Deep Red. I find this color to be very flattering with auburn hair rather than clashing as some more orange tones of red can do. This comes in standard mesh sizes along with a wide array for mesh bodies: Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP.
One last look tonight, this is our prize from Baci and is called lu-retro girl. It comes in system layers along with an Omega applier, and the vintage floral texture certainly suits the name. The bright red really pops against the soft flowers, and will look particularly lovely if you go somewhere tropical in SL.

Hiya everyone! I have plenty more prizes from the Twisted Hunt to share, and tonight I am showing some gifts from mini hunts at individual stores as well. That seems to be a tradition among the participants, so it's important to click the Twisted Extras sign whenever you see it to find out what bonus goodies they have for us, from extra prizes to themed gachas to exclusive items at incredible low prices. I haven't found a list yet of all the previous rounds' themes, but I love this one Qi and all the black and white treats.
One location where you can find a mini hunt is Goth1c0, who paired with their neighbor (the store across the landing zone) Entity, for a combined total of 9 additional prizes from their mini Energy hunt. Goth1c0 is stop #006 and Entity is #039, but there's no reason you can't look for both cubes while looking for all the energy prizes as well. The female prize from Goth1c0 is the Black Uniform, skirt and shirt each in standard mesh sizes, with some great touches like the lovely buttons and epaulettes. Curious about my glowing energy sphere on the right? That's Mini Hunt Prize #2, Energy Sphere Channelling, and the pose is built in. I can see that I probably should have edited the placement a bit, but you can certainly get the idea of how lovely it is :)
Dark Matter (#031) has a maze as their Twisted Extra, and there are several previous Twisted hunt prizes awaiting. This was a fun maze because you have to jump to get to platforms above you, making it more 3D than a traditional maze. There are male and female goodies to be found, and this is prize #9 on the left (Bitten Dress Twisted Lament) and prize #16 (Sleeveless Lolita Twisted Lament) on the right. I did find out that the cubes are called lament cubes, from Hellraiser, and that is the source of that pattern you see everywhere during Twisted season including these dresses.
For more stunning dresses, you'll want to visit store #106 in the hunt, Sweet Peach. They are the last stop and provide the location of the End Game, which I have not tackled yet because it takes a lot of logic and brainpower. These dresses are both named Satine, Twisted Edition 1 in the silver and Edition 2 in the red. They come in standard rigged sizes plus standard fitted sizes, so you're certain to find the right size for your shape. There is a third prize there as well for the ladies, those gorgeous matching Slink high shoes that look fantastic with both dresses. There are 2 prizes for the men as well, so we can all benefit from their generosity.
Finally we see a closer look at the nails I've been sporting last night from ++Tykhe++, along with their bonus mini hunt gifts. In the left image you see all 5 designs from their "Ying Yang" Slink nails, and on the right are Twisted Special 1, 2, and 3, which are a red, brown, and purple crackled designs that I believe are either a leather or marble texture. This store is stop #077 in the hunt.
No nail note of the night is needed, but I do have a hair note of the night since I stopped by Truth hair again to pick up some demo's and couldn't resist peeking in the discounts room yet again ;) This is their Auralee hairstyle, which comes with an optional mesh addition with 2 sections that drape over your shoulders and down the front a bit. As an older style, it comes in separate colors (5 shades per pack) instead of a HUD, but I was glad to be able to take advantage of the savings offered. Blogging makes me very picky about hair, always needing something that will show my ears or neck (in case I want to blog earrings/necklace) and not hide any of the outfit I'm trying to show off. It's worth it though :)
