Girl You Like To Dress

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm excited to share some lucky board prizes and midnight mania gifts from a store with a really fun name, Girl You Like To Dress. It also goes by its initials, GYLTD, and they have a free group with some gifts on the wall across from these boards. I had been hanging out and snagging prizes for a while though and got really fortunate, so that is where my focus is in this post. They are quite generous as you can see, and their prices are reasonable so I am very grateful as well as impressed by their quality. Come on down and win some treats!

My first look this evening is the lovely GYLTD - Dress Sunflower 1, which is a Midnight Mania prize. These boards are what some call "lock and roll", meaning your click stays on the board until it fills up with the required number of clicks, even if that takes several days. I adore the wrapped halter style, and the way the left side of the skirt is cinched and tied to create a diagonal hemline. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included.

Another midnight mania prize I'm delighted to have won is our 17 - Flowers/Brown outfit. The single shouldered top and laced up skirt will each fit Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The skirt's belt is built in, and matches the background of the floral pattern of our top perfectly. 

Next I combined two lucky board prizes for a fun warm-weather look since I'm still eager for these temps to rise :) The GYLTD TOP 11 is a tied crop tee that has 8 colors to choose from via HUD, in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. Our color options are very earthy neutral types, love them! Then I added the GYLTD - Shorts January 2025 prize, with their intriguingly bold pattern of greenery. Can you believe this beauty was free from a lucky board too? They are labeled overalls but I was thinking 'romper' too, as there are distinct leg openings with an inseam/crotch in between. It was certainly a day...my outing got postponed twice, then changed to "hey, let's go get pizza", so we placed a mobile order and picked it up. I tried so hard to get the week's plans cemented, because that would help my anxiety ever so slightly, but obviously that simply cannot happen. *deep breath* Things worked out decently in the long run I suppose, and tomorrow is always another day and a new opportunity.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some wonderful group gifts and a Midnight Mania prize available at Lee Sorin, whose group is currently free to join. There are 4 gifts and a free gift card for the group members available at the moment, with a pair of Midnight Mania boards just waiting to be clicked :) There are so many talented and generous designers located in this shopping center, so it was a pleasure as always to explore the area and see what new offers I could find. 

For my first look, I'm sharing the charming Lee Sorin Estela dress, which is one of the two midnight mania gifts currently on those boards. It gave me strong Disney princess vibes with those puffy detached sleeves, which are in fact a separate attachment so we can wear the dress with or without them. The dress and sleeves each come in Freya, Isis, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. It also includes a HUD with 24 colors for each, for mixing and matching potential.

This playfully styled dress is the Johana group gift. It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and comes with a 20 color HUD to change the look whenever we choose. The shredded openings are such a fun touch, and I am a fan of unique strap details like this.

Next I changed into another group gift named Isis, and she can be worn as a swimsuit or a daring shorts outfit. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included, as well as a handy 25 color HUD. I'm not sure which detail caught my eye first, the fun opening in the front or the great straps in the back, maybe even the slits on both sides of the high cut shorts, but they are all winners!

Our Alice gift is a treat that shows why floral patterns make any clothing a truly classic addition to any wardrobe :) The dress is provided in eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with a 10 color HUD for variety. How fun is that slightly diagonal ruffled hemline? Let's not forget the single shoulder which is tied up top and contrasted by a dainty pouf of a sleeve on the other side, abundant features to catch the eye.

For my final look this evening, I'm enjoying the Lee Sorin Claudia group gift outfit. The long sleeved crop top and pants with openings at both hips are tied with matching loose bows, and these separates each come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Maitreya, Flat, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. There's also a HUD (surprise!) with an impressive 28 color choices for each. If you run into me this morning hopping around the grid, you will see me still wearing this beauty, but in what color? I haven't quite decided yet.

It turned out to be a challenging day for my anxiety, as the rain let up and I tried going out to the local park. My anxiety decided that was a bad idea I guess, and it was worse getting home than to the park itself so I am feeling nervous about my therapy session on Thursday. I'm supposed to be going to the office of one of the many appointments I'd canceled because of the agoraphobia, but now the fear is spiraling so I don't know. Get Ready For The Weekend

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have an eclectic mix of offers to share, carefully selected to spruce up your wardrobe and living space this weekend. There are Midnight Madness prizes and a lucky chair prize from [QE] Designs for a casual or formal look, and neither require any specific group tag to participate and win. Then we dive into the Escape The Ordinary 3 Hunt, a fun $3L gridwide hunt with lots of intriguing prizes. The website will guide you with landmarks and hints, with some preview images for sneak peeks. There is something so rewarding about finding a carefully hidden hunt object, knowing your are saving lots of lindens and receiving a quality creation!

First we visit [QE] Designs (also home of [QE] Decor) where their two midnight madness prizes are currently the top and skirt seen here. Their [QE] Chelsea Blouse & Emily Top v2 is two pieces that layer beautifully, each in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. There is also a HUD included with 6 textures for the blouse and 5 colors for the tube top, so you can mix and match to suit your mood. Then we have the charming [QE] Hannah Denim Skirt which is also a midnight madness prize, and comes in the same sizes as the top. This one has a HUD with 12 denim colors and 3 metals, and I am fascinated by the styling! It looks like the skirt was converted from a pair of distressed jeans with a rip beneath the right bum cheek, living a new life as a flirty denim skirt.

I did promise something formal, and this is one of many terrific prizes we can win from the lucky chairs that are alongside the midnight madness boards. It is called [QE] Olympia Dress -Red-, and is a striking halter style with slender belt up high that ties in the back just like the neckline. There are sizes for Freya (Natural, Perky, Push), Isis (Natural, Perky, Push), Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies included in our prize. I really like the style, and the pattern reminds me of a kaleidoscope. 

The [QE] skirt also came in handy when I switched over to sharing some hunt prizes, starting with the CEREAL KILLER Tee from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. This clever cutie has a milk carton as the "i" in killer, and features a bowl of cereal just waiting to be devoured. The prize includes standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. My favorite cereal is cinnamon Life, how about you?

Splintered Creations is also offering a great hunt prize, their corner knickknack display which is named for the hunt itself. This dark wood staircase has a small landing and a right turn of 90 degrees, and can be resized to fit your personal living space. The decorations on the stairs are all attached except the glass jar with flowers, which is most of the 43 land impact (it alone is 37 li) so if you prefer you can pull the jar back into your inventory and just use the 6 li stairs with remaining knickknacks. You can see I'm standing there for size, and I definitely enlarged this quite a bit!

My final look of the evening is a hunt prize we can find on the marketplace, perfect for a busy weekend when you might not have time to teleport all over the grid :) This is the Stonemill - Cow Town Vase, an eye-catching round black and white vase with a fun cone shape with stripes on the top. I am showing it on the landing area of the Splintered Creations staircase, but you can put it just about anywhere and have it add visual interest to your coffee table, dresser, or wherever it will make you smile. This vase has just 1 land impact so it is great for anyone whose living space is tight on prim allowance. 

Because of the heat wave, I wound up staying home instead of my usual Friday dinner at my parents'. It is a little bit of a bummer, however we all decided better safe than sorry. For the farmers market I might just have my housemate pick up what I usually get, as it was similarly hot last week and it definitely got to me. My thyroid problems apparently make me more sensitive to temperature extremes, and the neuropathy adds to that fun. So I plan on a quiet weekend at home, where I can certainly keep busy :) There are always things to watch, things to clean, and stuff to organize, ohh organizing in SL is a good idea too. Hiya everyone! Tonight's post starts with some more Stay at Home Club gifts, all from Dark Fairy Designs. They have a multi-vendor set up that you can use the arrows to get the gift you want to claim as the large central image, then right click and pay $1L which will be automatically refunded. There are several available, so please be sure to scroll through all of them :) I also have a terrific Midnight Mania prize to show you, so there is a lot to appreciate in this post. I also indulged in a little bit of retail therapy, and bought a hairstyle that I had been admiring for ages so I could no longer resist. 

This gorgeous dress is the most recently added of the Stay at Home Gifts, the DFF Sara Gown (Cosmic). It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. I appreciate the details like the side slit and gathered waist area, and the flounce around the top that enhances the bust.

I combined two gifts here, one of which I had blogged previously and the other is new to me. The top is called DFF Cyndi Shirt (Grimm) #15, and immediately put me in mind of the upcoming Halloween season. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies, all with that unique shredded style and spooky image on the front. My pants here are another generous gift, DFF Urban Capris #7. Their playful energy has graffiti artwork and tied cuffs, in Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes with an additional wide waist version of each size. 

These two gifts were probably not designed to go together, but I certainly enjoyed pairing them together and keeping things in a similar color family. The top is called DFF Stormy Top #27, a whimsical fringed tube top that is tied in the front and reminds me of repurposing a scarf as a flirty top. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Dog, and Dragon mesh bodies. The lovely skirt is our DFF Daisy Skirt Set 2 #13 gift, whose belt echoes the top's loose ties beautifully. Inside this gift you will find sizing for Altamura, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. That same terrific skirt is provided in a different color/texture combination as another gift, their DFF Daisy Skirt Set 3 #6. It comes in the same mesh sizes, all in this leafy pattern with crimson background and matching belt draped through the belt loops. As for my top, I cannot stress how much I enjoyed being able to claim this gift! It is called DFF Candid Shirt #11, and reads "The sarcasm is strong with this one" on the front in a very familiar font, reminiscent of a space type movie series ;) The back is open but laced together, I apologize for not showing that but my long hair was hiding it for the most part anyway. This clever tank top includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Fox, and Werewolf mesh bodies. The funny thing is, I am not sarcastic to strangers or casual acquaintances, but those who get to know me very well do wind up being exposed to my sarcastic side eventually. It is usually aimed at my own misfortunes and goofy behavior, not as a weapon towards others. 

For my final look of the evening, we head to Entice where you will want to pop on that free group tag so you can click the group-only Midnight Mania board. Quick hair note of the night: this is a release from a few months ago, so not really a new release anymore but it is new to me so I am having fun with it. It is the Truth Hair style called Destiny, and I chose their Redhead package. There is a stylist tab on the color HUD so you can show or hide the strands on each shoulder, and there are a couple of sizes included with or without wisps. I am not affiliated with the store, just a longtime fan who has very little self-control when it comes to their hairs.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to help you get ready for a summer adventure with some new bikinis (and a fancy dress for that hot club by the beach!) which are all either group gifts or Midnight Mania prizes. They are all found at TRS Designs, so we are only visiting one store for this sexy summer collection. You do not need their free group tag to click the midnight mania boards, but you will to claim the group gifts, and there are also lucky chairs and gifts for various other groups on the same wall. Can you tell there is a lot to see and appreciate here? I am a longtime group member and frequent visitor to the store, so it is my pleasure to introduce you to them or remind you to stop by again if you too have been here before.

My first look is one of the 3 group gifts currently available, called Stella Dress SVG. It is a glitzy mini trimmed in gold sequins, with straps that cross in the back then drape down the front to cross again and tie beneath the bust. Our gift includes standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. Get used to that set of sizes, because all of tonight's looks include the same ones :)

Summer brings many activities to mind, and if you are thinking about things like sunbathing, swimming, beaches, or pools, I think you'll enjoy this group gift. It is their Lyla Bikini RP, and is certainly on the revealing side with tiny triangles of material in the front and even less in the back ;) There is a delicate golden floral pattern on the fabric, such a pretty addition.

For this look, I doubled my fun to show you two more group gifts. On the left is the Lyla Bikini Bubblegum, with Lyla Bikini VP on the right. I love the sheen of the pink fabric, and the gold floral pattern on the VP version.

My avi appears to be lost in thought here, quite possibly trying to decide where to wear this gorgeous group gift :) That's right, another generous bikini gift, this one called Lyla Bikini NR. I want to guess that the NR stands for navy red, with both colors making an appearance here, and the material has that tiny pattern of flowers embossed in gold that I enjoy so much.

I had also visited the day before yesterday in anticipation of this post, and had clicked the Midnight Mania boards while I was there, so I had already received these two terrific prizes :) They are both Lyla Bikinis, with Ocean on the left and BR to the right. It was an exciting day to watch ice hockey, LOL, as weird as that sounds in the midst of a heat wave. Other than that, my day was decent and I am ready for a brand new week. TRS Designs Treats

Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit just one store, TRS Designs, and score some wonderful gifts while we are there. There are 2 midnight mania boards that you can click without needing a group tag, and two lucky chairs that I haven't won anything from yet so I do not know if they need the group tag active or not ;) I had successfully clicked the MM boards the night before and did not have the group tag showing at the time. Be sure to bring your friends to click, to ensure it reaches the required number of clicks so everyone can win. Let's start with one of the current Midnight Mania prizes, their Stella Dress Violet. It comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The vibrant color looks great against the sequin textured trim, and I love the way the straps cross in the back then come around to the front to loop through and tie beneath the chest. 

Next we take a look at the group gifts for the TRS Designs group, starting with this stylish Beka Dress Navy. The strapless dress is ruched to fit snugly, and the sleeves are connected by a slender bit of fabric beneath each arm. The gift includes standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. 

This look is the Hannah Dress Orange group gift, which comes in the same mesh sizes as the previous two I shared. The color on a denim fabric is more of a burnt rusty shade than a bright orange, and I find this one to be flattering even with my auburn hair. I am a big fan of details, and the distressed touches and back pockets really drew me to this dress.

Two of our group gifts are tops, so I slipped into my trusty Delizio jeans (free on the marketplace) in black, one of several colors provided in system/BOM layers plus Maitreya and Omega appliers. They are a fun pairing for the gift called Secena Top Reaper, which is a tight tank with asymmetrical hem that might be tucked up on the short side. For my final look of the evening, I am sporting the Sophie Sweater Horse, another group gift for the TRS Designs group. The texturing makes this look like the comfiest sweater imaginable, and the abstract horse design on the front is very eye-catching. Emerald Couture Treats

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am starting the weekend by visiting just one store, Emerald Couture, where we can claim some wonderful group gifts and midnight mania gifts without spending a single linden :) Their group is free to join, and the group tag entitles you to several free gifts as well as access to the lucky chairs and midnight mania boards on two floors. If you land at the main entrance, turn right and right again for the VIP room, and there are more treats in the room immediately above (you can cam up to it if you wish) so don't forget to slap those midnight mania boards as well :) Several of tonight's looks are group gifts, but then I will wrap things up for the evening with a midnight mania prize so you can get an idea of what those are too.

Whew, I am so ready for this weekend! My week consisted of 2 dental visits and my first visit to a new family doctor (mine left the practice and did not reappear elsewhere so I was stuck) which was this afternoon, so I am really tired of being poked and prodded. I am still trying to decide what I think of the new doctor, which probably tells you that it was neither great nor terrible. The practice is in turmoil after losing several people, so I do plan on giving him another chance but really expect to see an improvement like my prescriptions being written correctly which did not happen this time. As for my weekend, I have my usual farmers market visit and then a hockey game to watch Saturday evening, then a mostly relaxing day Sunday finally :) I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

More Punk JUSTUS Treats

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more treats from Punk JUSTUS to share, most of which can be found in those free pumpkins I told you about last night. They are set for sale for $0L and some are hiding in plain sight while others are enjoying the outdoors or visiting one of the side buildings flanking the store. One of my dresses is from their Midnight Mania board, which as a side note (and hint) has a big pumpkin nearby that you might want to check out :) I even found some system layer (BOM) pasties on the marketplace to help me show off a tattoo or two. 

My first look of the evening is dead inside by Punk JUSTUS, a halter style dress with unique straps in front and a lacy extra layer of skirt. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing.

Another terrific pumpkin prize is the samhain dress by Punk JUSTUS, with an open weave top and pretty pattern of leaves and acorns. The pumpkin holds Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes.

Back to the spooky side of things, we have the prize called nightmare by Punk JUSTUS. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, and features a single strap sleeve and fluttery short skirt.

For this look, I combined two pumpkin hunt prizes and an unrelated marketplace gift. The tattoo is called sugar skull tattoo by Punk JUSTUS, and comes in black and neon versions, each as system layers as well as Omega appliers. The skirt is the other hunt prize, unknown grave by Punk JUSTUS which is provided in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The marketplace is where to find the pasties I am wearing, from Heart Undies and called -HU- Bandage Pasties. There are system layers for upper and lower, as there is a groin bandage included along with the X's for our nipples. Obviously I am having fun with the ability to wear system layers again, thanks to BOM.

My final look this evening is the current Midnight Mania prize, autumn air by Punk JUSTUS. The front is loosely stitched together down the left, leaving a flirty slit on the thigh. As long as enough people click the midnight mania board, everyone who does will receive it for free. No group is needed, and visiting to click this board is how I discovered the pumpkin hunt in the first place :) I love the colors as much as the style, and even got a compliment from Xan on this particular dress.

It was a busy but mostly enjoyable day, and I should be able to get some decent rest tomorrow. I just found out this evening that a childhood friend lost her grandmother, who helped her mom raise her, and I used to spend every other weekend at their house so I knew her quite well too. They all moved over 1000 miles away when my friend got married, so it's been 20+ years since I have seen them, but there are fond memories that will always be in my heart. I've been trying to figure out how old she was, I'm going to guess pretty close to my grandmother's 93 years if not more. My friend was even named after her grandmother, so her spirit lives on in her family for sure. I hope you're all having a peaceful weekend, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
