KittyCatS! At The Free Dove

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it is my pleasure to invite you to The Free Dove for a Caring Hands Mini Hunt, which this month features the amazing KittyCatS! and 10 generous shoulder pets as free prizes. We are looking at both The Free Dove and the KittyCats! mainstore for cheerful yellow suns, each containing an adorable cat that we can wear (I suggest right click - add) and they will float gently around us while chasing a hovering cat toy and blowing bubbles. I have been a fan of their kitties for ages, and have two in my home that I love to pet and interact with every chance I get. These wearable cuties will also talk to you in local chat when you click them, with several different greetings so you never know what he or she will say. I strongly suggest clicking the hunt sign at The Free Dove and reading the notecard it will deliver for all the information, and the sign will show you a picture of the suns we are seeking along with all of the kittycats. There are 5 gifts at each location, 5 styles each in a different size and in boy and girl versions each. I also needed something to wear, so while I was at The Free Dove I stopped by the Refugee Fashion display and claimed their free gifts with my "Blessed by a Dove" group tag active. 

First I slipped into the {RF} Buckle Top & Skirt outfit from Refugee Fashion, whose pieces each come in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. I am also wearing the KittyCatS! - Free Dove - Swimmer Cat - Australian Mist Girl, a lovely green-eyed lass with an orange seahorse toy floating ahead of her. The boy version has a green toy and matching snorkel set, while otherwise very similar. The girl is one of the prizes hiding at The Free Dove itself.

These two sweeties are the KittyCatS! - Free Dove - Swimmer Cat - NuMoo Boy with the green snorkel set and toy, and the NuMoo Girl in the yellow. They are white with large black spots like a cow, hence the 'moo' part of their name, and their toys are darling little lobsters. The boy can be found at The Free Dove, and the girl is hiding out at the KittyCats! mainstore. 

This pretty strapless dress is called {RF} Sweet Autumn, and is also on the Refugee Fashion display as a free group gift. There are sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies included. I am also enjoying a visit with the KittyCatS! - Free Dove - Swimmer Cat - Tonkinese Boy here, as he chases his cute whale toy around me :) I found him at The Free Dove, and he and his sister look to be the smallest size of the 5 different varieties in this hunt.

For my final look this evening, I changed clothing and and playing with two more precious prizes ♥. The outfit is the {RF} Booty Short and Top with Sandals Set gift from Refugee Fashion, and the delivery HUD lets us click the brand of our choice to receive Belleza (Freya, Isis, Venus), Maitreya, Slink (Hourglass, Physique), or Tonic (Curvy, Fine) sizes of the top, shorts, and sandals for flat feet, each in a folder with a HUD so we can select from 6 textures each for top and shorts. There are also several options for the sandals: 6 colors for the straps, 6 for the insole, 10 for the sole, and 5 metals. The gorgeous spotted kitty with teal accessories is the KittyCatS! - Free Dove - Swimmer Cat - Cheetah Boy, and the Cheetah Girl is sporting pink snorkel gear and toy. Shop and Hop is Gleaming

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delighted to tell you about the Valentine's Shop and Hop event, where you will find over 80 designers in 4 romantically designed sims who are all offering discounted merchandise along with free gifts. Tonight I will be showing you some gifts found on the Gleaming sim, as I personally just find it simpler to sort them by sim and show you one at a time so you know exactly which landmark to follow. I am mostly focused on fashion, but there was a sweet companion that caught my eye too :) The event just opened yesterday and runs until the 23rd of February.

My first look is the [Aleutia] Eileen Dress (Maitreya) Special Valentine's Edition, a sweet mini with fluttery skirt and pretty hearts adorning it. As the name implies, it is sized for the Maitreya body, and will look nice with your favorite shoes, perhaps white or pink? 

Next we have a beautiful gift from Gabrielle Hamelin, their {GH} Spring Bliss Sequins Gift. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, and Hourglass, with a HUD to adjust colors for the materials. The HUD gave me an error message when I added it, but I saw mentioned in many groups (and on plurk, etc.) that SL was being weird with scripts this morning so I would guess that was the reason. I didn't necessarily need the HUD since I like the way this looks just as it is :)

Does the romance of the upcoming holiday make you feel a little bit sassy? If so, this gift from Faida should be perfect for you :) It is called It's Not Me, and comes in a Maitreya mesh body size in a soft pink shade. The front reads "It's NOT ME it's you" with the NOT ME across a darker pink ribbon, and there are a few small hearts on the design too. The cropped style with short sleeves add to the sass too, while the pastel color keeps it from being overly edgy.

United Colors has a pretty dress for us, their UC_Cupid_dress_red. It is provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with a handy HUD to make this extra sexy. You can choose from 7 colors for the top and bottom sections in the middle (the main dress stays that pretty red) with options to make them sheer and to turn materials off or on. You can even hide those triangles in the middle, top or bottom or rear (the back is designed like the front with a wedge shaped panel) and turn the collar on or off. That is a lot of variety!!

For my final look of the evening, I added a friendly little companion, the gift from KittyCatS! called I LOVE YOU! Angel 2020. It flies around chasing the pink heart that says I love you, and one flank reads "I love you" as you can see above while the other has a heart and arrow on it. There are plenty of great details to appreciate here, and I think you will enjoy seeing him/her in person when you claim this thoughtful gift.

It was a pretty good day here, with a nice visit to my parents' for dinner where we looked through some old pictures and had some laughs. It was a stroll down memory lane for sure :) I have a busy Saturday planned as usual, and I am looking forward to it since I'll get to see some awesome people and pick up tasty treats. Advent Gifts and Hunt Prizes

Hiya everyone! It is a brisk morning and I am in the holiday spirit for sure, with all the wonderful stores I have been visiting for Advent calendars and hunts which have been decorated for Christmas or at least wintry beauty. Today I will be sharing some more prizes from The Advent Chase Hunt, as well as a few advent gifts that either need no group or need a group tag that is free to join. If a gift you receive (hunt, advent, group gift, marketplace, etc. etc.) makes you happy, I'd like to suggest that in this season of giving, please consider giving the creator some positive feedback :) Drop a notecard thanking them and telling you why you appreciate it, leave a 5 star review on the marketplace, take a friend to shop there with you. I plan on doing it at least once a day, random acts of kindness that can mean a lot to these talented and hardworking people.

This snowflake-covered beauty is our Advent Chase Hunt prize from Sparrow by Design, who also have an Advent calendar you can click while you're there searching for the candles. This is Women's Midnight Snow Gown, which comes in standard mesh sizes and features a sexy shape and a fun bow on the back with long trailing ribbons. My biggest challenge now is deciding where to wear it first.

If you need something pretty for more private moments, I suggest heading to Zed Designz who have 4 hidden candles, 2 for men and 2 for women. They are on the same sim as Bella Moda whose gifts I blogged yesterday. Their ::ZED:: Bra and Panty Set, Satin Polka Dot Set comes with a great HUD to change textures among 6 pastel choices, bra and panties separately so you can mix and match if you wish. The bra and panties each come in plenty of mesh sizes: standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. I half expected to see a thong when I turned around, but it has just the right amount of coverage and both pieces look so well crafted.

Over to some Advent calendars, I visited Entice with my free group tag on and grabbed this terrific My Girl Dress in Solid by paying today's bauble a linden and having it immediately refunded. The dress itself comes in an impressive array of sizes (5 standard, 5 fitmesh, 5 busty, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink) plus there is the added bonus of a texture HUD with 3 color choices. Two are shown, the third is solid black that gives a classic look.

Ho-ho-ho! If you have an event to attend this season or just want to make time with a special someone more festive, please visit Moonstar and click today's date on their Advent calendar, no group needed. Their prize today is this Pink Mixie Dress and Hat, and starts with the upper and lower parts as system layers or appliers for Slink, Lola, Omega, and Maitreya. Next we have the accessories, the hat and sleeves and even the skirt have built in resize scripts so you can adjust this however you may need. This made me a bit nostalgic as I had a few similar outfits in SL about 8-9 years ago, of course this is a modernized interpretation with the mesh body compatibility that is so vital in SL these days. Love that built in bow on the back of the skirt, by the way. You can also see that a closer view of my eye is looking back at ya ;) That is today's Inkheart advent calendar gift for group members (free to join, many benefits) called April Eyes - Fantasy. The purplish hue looked quite striking with this outfit.

One last look of the day, how about some gorgeous nails? The KittyCatS! Advent calendar offers gifts from many popular designers across the grid, and today features La Boheme whose shop I had been visiting for the calendar itself (found at many locations). These are their cheery LB Santa Baby nails, in Gold on the left and Silver on the right if you look closely at the buckles, and each offers 10 nude nail base colors draped in a wonderful Santa suit. The gift includes HUDs for Maitreya Manicures, Slink/Omega Manicures, and Slink/Omega Pedicures for each silver and gold.

Firestorm Spooky Nights Hunt

Hiya everyone! For quite some time, my third party viewer of choice has been Firestorm, back in the days of it being known as Phoenix and before rigged mesh along with a slew of other SL changes. They have organized a Spooky Nights Hunt, spanning their 5 sims, where you will be searching for about 30 skulls (there are hints, some say to skip, but 3 sims have 30 each and the other two have 28 each) in some lovely areas. The first sim I explored was their Firestorm Support sim, The Spooky Path, and there was a wide range of scenery from streams to beaches to woods. Most of the prizes are either unisex or contain something for the men and the ladies, so don't hesitate to bring your favorite guy. Here is a small sampling of what I found...

This beautiful mesh Spooky Nights gown can be found in #01 from Kastle Rock Couture. It comes in several sizes for a great fit, plus a shoulder piece with roses and yes, skulls! If you prefer, you can certainly leave that part off, and you still have the delicate spiderweb pattern on the fabric for a more subtle touch.

Feyline Fashions always has very detailed outfits as hunt prizes, and this hunt's #12 is definitely no exception. The Fairy Witch Stars includes the mesh dress above, versions of the hat with or without the cat riding atop, the boots for default feet (2 parts per leg), system glitch pants, the Trick or Treat pumpkin, cat necklace, and wings. One great thing about all these accessories is that you can decide how you want the outfit to look, and what components to wear. It's adjustable to your whims :)

Prize #14 on this path is from Up Against The Wall, and this outfit looks much more sexy than spooky to me ;) This stunner consists of a system layer top and skirt, a Slink HUD for both, and a mesh skirt panel in 5 sizes. I really like the design of the top and sides, the subtle beaded look and the gold band are beautiful contrasts to the black satiny look of the material.

Our last glimpse tonight is two fun prizes in one photo. First we have the outfit, Dino Shorts and Top and Slippers from Coull Creations. This can be found in skull #25 in the spooky path, standard mesh sizes for top and shorts along with several sizes for the adorable slippers. Speaking of adorable, if you find skull #02 from KittyCatS! then you will be pleased to see two precious kitties inside! On the left you can see the Scary Clown (don't worry, it's just a mask hehe) floating around on his broom, and on the right we have the TrickyTreat Scaredy Tat with her colorful design, circling me on her broom. These sweet pets don't need to be fed or anything like most of the KittyCatS cuties, just wear and enjoy watching them fly in circles around you. 

My eyes are even a prize from the hunt, Mayfly Creations Luminous eyes in their Pale Bronze color. This generous gift includes 4 pairs with different levels of eye whiteness, plus a HUD to adjust pupil sizes, shadows, shading and more. It was fascinating just trying out all the different buttons on the HUD :)

It was a rough weekend which explains my absence last night (sorry about that), but I am very pleased to be here tonight and sharing some treasures with all of you. Magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
